My go to spot for sushi. Relaxing and service is good. Owner is nice. Food is quick and fast. Updated menu. I knocked off one star because the prices for sushi has increased compared to others near by.

It would have been a 3 star review, but the food could have been better, so still a 2 star review for me. The sushi is undeniably more priced in the acceptable range in the Bensonhurst area, in Brooklyn. However, because the prices are on average lower than most in the area, it does not mean the quality of the food should be less. This is a go-to place for the family and we generally enjoy all the rolles, even the nigiri pieces and the sashimi pieces. When we do order sushi, we always do a party tray, and try to get as much variety as possible, as we all love sushi, sashimi, nigiri, etc. As such, as ordered California, eel and avocado, Chicken tempura, Boston roll, spicy tuna roll, Alaskan roll, Ginza roll, sashimi (salmon & tuna), and eel nigiri. California & Eel roll: Standard, the eel was a bit dehydrated tasting, as if the fish was out for long period of time and then rolled together with sushi rice. The portion was a bit more smaller than the last time. Chicken tempura roll was really soft, and the crunch was def. on the soggy side, as the tempura was no longer crunchy. The Ginza roll was just not great. The cooked salmon tasted a bit old and the crunch had an odd taste, so it did not add a nice texture to the roll. Overall, the food could have been better, way better.

Oyako Don Doesn't taste like Oyako Don... Carrots, broccoli and no sauce?

Ordered Oyako don and did not taste like Oyako don. Carrots and broccoli? No sauce that accompanies Oyako don

Don't take delivery-cheat on money! I order 4 rolls for 2,75 (11$)+1 sashimi salmon (1$) TOTAL 12$ When man come on car, say "14$" and demanded tips! I give him 15$ and he wanted more! I'm so angry, it's my not first order, but I know one-it's my last order at this place.. he deceives me not for the first time and not for the first time does not give a check!

This place is my go-to sushi spot in my neighborhood. They don't put their business on delivery websites like seamless but I'm glad to pick it up since all sales go to the business directly. Pretty good sushi, the quality is standard for the area and service is really fast. The staff are really friendly as well.

AK-47 roll and lg chocolate roll

I came here two weeks ago and one of the reasons we went here is because this place is right next to the Kings Highway N train station. It is a bit dimmed in the restaurant. It seems that most of their business is through orders and take-out. Staff can speak English and Chinese. Got drinks and we placed out orders. Got the following 4: AK-47 roll- deep fried roll with white fish, salmon, crabmeat, avocado and cream cheese no rice Butterfly roll- spicy salmon, shrimp tempera, kani, eel, avocado, assorted cavier LG chocolate roll - salmon, eel, crunchy, top with pepper tuna, avocado crunchy special sauce and cavier Kings highway roll- spicy yellowtail, crunchy tuna, salmon, crunchy avocado, cavier on top Very artistic in presentation. The staff doesn't hover and sushi rolls was good. My favorite was the AK-47 roll because it's cooked and soft to chew.

I love this place, it has delicious special rolls and is always fresh. I usually order since this place is on the smaller side but they deliver fast and it's always exactly

Nice little sushi spot. Food's always good. Clean, quick delivery, and they have private booths.

this is a fabulous local -- seems family owned -- some sushi/sashimi other dishes definitely outside the "neighborhood sushi" mill

From the start, the menu felt a little overwhelming, but I actually liked how much variety there was. They've got your everyday sashimi, sushi, rolls, and some specials, plus plenty of hot food like bento boxes, noodles and rice dishes. There are even party trays if you're grabbing food for an event. With so many options, there's something for everyone in your group. The fish was fresh overall, though it leaned more mild than that buttery, sweet richness you get from higher grade cuts. The salmon belly was good but not as rich or melty as I hoped. The toro was nicely torched with that perfect buttery flavor. They also had Santa Barbara uni that night, which was solid, just not the most sweet batch I've had. They were already sold out of their Hokkaido uni that evening. We also tried the monkfish liver appetizer, it was mild and clean tasting, though I wished it had more of that rich, creamy depth you sometimes get from good quality ankimo. It came plain, but once I asked for a little ponzu, it helped balance the flavor. The space itself is clean and very bright, with an open layout where you can easily hear other tables, lively but not too loud. Service was friendly and polite, though a bit on the inexperienced side. Everyone was kind and tried their best, just small moments where communication or timing could be smoother. Parking in the area can be tricky depending on the time, but there are plenty of meters and street parking within walking distance.

Their sushi is decent and some of the entrees are good like their egg drop beef chow fun. They allow you to BYOB and if you ask for an ice bucket, they can provide that for you too. Dipping their toes in so many different arenas might actually be their detriment because they're going for everything while not excelling in most. I would rather they cut down on some dishes and make sure all are great instead. I absolutely love their Thai fried chicken, which is so affordable (8 pieces for $12), and tastes so crispy on the outside but so moist and flavorful on the inside. It comes with a tangy fish sauce, but you can add different green curry and/or red curry for 50 cents each. I like it best with the fish sauce. However, that's the Thai fried chicken is the only dish I absolutely love from this place. Everything else is very mediocre, which is unfortunate. 6 rolls bento - $15; comes with california roll, spicy tuna roll, lobster salad roll, salmon avocado roll, eel cucumber roll, shrimp tempura, kani salad, seaweed salad, and fried chicken. It's a lot of food for $15, and the sushi actually tastes decent. The kani salad, seaweed salad, and fried chicken are just tiny portions, but the fried chicken are like nuggets and taste really bad. 4/5 Mushroom noodles - $10; It's so rare to find such affordable e-fu noodles but sadly, it tastes nothing like what e-fu noodles should taste like. I wouldn't even know that they're supposed to be e-fu noodles if I just blindly tasted. I would not get this again here. 3/5 Pad see ew beef - $13; Again, like the mushroom noodles, it didn't taste like pad see ew. It's missing that sweetness and charred factor that's usually present in pad see ew. 3/5 Pad Kra Pao (??) - I can't remember if it's this dish that I got, but it was some type of Thai rice dish with a meat sauce. It was so terrible, I only ate 10% of it and didn't take it to go. 1/5 Pad thai - I didn't try it but my friend got it and the color looked really off. Aside from the food, there are other improvements to be made here. It seems like a family-run restaurant, with only two workers facing the customers. It's really hard to get their attention when the restaurant is busy. The space is very tight and looks like it could be more well-maintained. They also need more menus. Hard to share just one with the whole table.
