Hubby had a day off and we decided the night before we wanted sushi. He picked out this place for us to try after digging through my Yelp app for the best spots. We came in with our 2 year old and I just have to say how amazing it is here. From the well kept establishment to the friendliness of the staff and freshness of the sushi, there was VERY little to be dissatisfied about. The place is small but well maintained. The woodsy touches gave modern vibes, and I couldn't help but admire how simple but beautiful it is. There are some outdoor tables for warmer weather. We got an order of French fries and chicken fried rice for our toddler and we got the Sanma fish appetizer and A$79 sushi platter for us. I must say, the fried rice presentation itself was like your usual but the green garnishes on top made it one of the prettiest I've seen. The sushi itself tasted fresh, amazing and melted in my mouth. The Sanma was tasty, and reminded us of mackerel. Our platter was so good that we ate all the raw pieces and brought home some of the chef's rolls for our oldest who was at school. He's now just branching out of the California rolls, and really enjoyed them. Highly recommend this place. The prices are reasonable and our servers were so kind!

Food: Everything we ordered was good x ordered a few special rolls + side rolls and appetizers. Everything came fast and prepared very nicely. Price is good for quality of sushi. Great crisp on the French fries. Ambiance: Restaurant isn't huge, but has enough seating for parties for 4-6. Service: Service was okay. Food came on time. Would come back for sushi if in the area.

Came here on a recommendation from a friend. Came out not disappointed. Super pleased that there is still high quality sushi for great price in BK. The meat/ratio was good. The fish was fresh. Size of the rolls were good. There's little not to love. Will have to share a sushi platter with a friend next time I'm here.

I've eaten more sushi in the past year than I have in the past decade and for that I have Komorebi to thank. For the longest time, Komorebi Full House remained untouched on my Yelp bookmarks, as I had been meaning to come here with my partner, who loves all things sushi and sashimi. However, when he still couldn't find the time to come... well, I said fuck it and went with my sister instead (though I did end up coming back here with him!). Over the course of a few visits, we ordered various party trays--which come with either sushi, sashimi, nigiri, or a combination of two or more of the aforementioned--as well as smaller appetizers like takoyaki and gyoza. Of everything we've tried, C$42 (which used to be C$40) is perhaps my favorite. It consists of 5 regular and special rolls, namely the Shrimp Tempura Roll, Soft Shell Crab Roll, Mulan Roll, Dancing Dragon Roll, and Komorebi Roll. The Soft Shell Crab Roll and Dancing Dragon Roll, in particular, are especially delicious. I love how warm and crispy the tempura is as well as the sweet and savory eel (which is a major compliment since I hate eel!). The restaurant opens at 12pm and usually isn't too busy. The staff are friendly and sweet and the music is bomb (I might have sung along today...). Overall, highly recommend!

A very friendly Chinese-owned Japanese restaurant with kind staff members that speaks Cantonese, Mandarin and English. They play a mixture of Chinese and English songs, which is refreshing and definitely enjoyable since I also speak the same language! The service was quick and good, as well as the ambiance being very comfortable and spacious. Now on to the food. The sushi a la carte was fresh but very thinly sliced, which doesn't give you enough of a bite to truly savor its freshness. So I hope in the future they would consider increasing the portion size of the fish to really give the sushi/sashimi pieces more of a bite! The bento box, however, was a bit disappointing unfortunately. First of all, the chicken katsu looks like it was just thrown in without any consideration of presentation. Second, the chicken katsu isn't your typical panko-breaded katsu, it definitely has a more of a Taiwanese chicken vibe to it, where it was overly fried to enhance its crispiness, but at the cost of making the meat quite tough. The Siu mai was watery and didn't really add much to the bento. However, one of its saving grace is the shrimp tempura, which was fried differently and was both very crispy and flavorful! So highly recommend the shrimp tempura, but not the chicken katsu. Thank you for reading and good luck! (:

My boyfriend and I have gotten whole party trays of sushi rolls here pretty often and I'm still amazed at the price for how many rolls they give. I think it's about 8 rolls for only around $35 and the pieces are relatively big and taste good! I usually like the salmon rolls. Great price for a generous amount of yummy sushi rolls !

Sashimi and nigiri were so good. Although I had this roll that taste like crab tempura: that wasn't good, it was on the dry side. I would come back here again! The squid was also very good, did not taste like rubber.

Ordered extra sashimi and just look at how fat it is - I'm in heaven

Holy wow ! Gosh dang this is so good !!!! My Roomate and I got the party platter for just us two- it comes with 6 regular rolls and 2 special. It was only $28 from Uber eats (we had a discount). And can I just say it's the best $28 I've ever spent.

Sushi tasted okay, Sashimi wasn't too bad, but the Chicken Katsu Bento box tasted oddly sour. Ordered takeout on the weekend, wait time was over 30 minutes. This isn't the only store that offers bento box combos, and chicken Katsu goes well with that special Teriyaki sauce. So for the Fried chicken cutlet to taste sour, just doesn't really sit well with me. What was meant to be an enjoyable meal with the family turned into the Bento box left uneaten. Prices have jumped higher, the cashier didn't inform that combo Sushi/Sashimi cost less than ordering a la-carte. Told me I should've checked their WeChat account before ordering. Wonder if that's the new rule now.

I love literally everything about this place. My only fear is that this restaurant won't stay for long because it's too good to be true! The concept is pretty revolutionary. It's basically a $10 "cover fee" that you pay per person that allows you to get access to their discounted prices that range from $1-$4, although most of the items are $1-$2. It gives you the feeling that it's an AYCE buffet but allows you to choose what you actually want to eat, rather than stuffing your face with everything on the menu. Quality was pretty good, definitely can't complain. They offered a $9 special of California Uni and it was so yummy. I normally don't prefer to eat Uni because it tends to be very fishy, but this wasn't at all. They had other great options for their daily special, like fatty toro and lobster sashimi so I highly recommend to check those out! I came with one other person and we ordered a decent amount of food, a few appetizers, two regular rolls, two special rolls and the Uni. Everything tasted very fresh and was presented quite nicely. They even include a free soup and salad with the $10 special. Service was incredible as well, but I'm not sure if it's because there were only a few customers in the restaurant. Our tea cups were constantly being refilled and the wait staff checked on us often. I was very impressed by how quickly the food came out as well. We received everything on the table in less than 10 minutes! Our bill came out to less than $50 for the both of us, and we left feeling pretty full. It was great to enjoy quality sushi for a low price, without hating myself afterwards for overeating. I will definitely be coming back!

This sushi restaurant had recently became one of my favorites for their QUALITY and QUANTITY, and somehow manage to be cost-effective. $1 for 3 pieces of nigiri. Usually, in Manhattan it's $3+ for 1 piece of nigiri. And the sushi here is actually good too! They also give you big pieces of fish. Prepaid $10 and enjoy everything on the menu at a discounted price; $1-$3 max. Includes 1 soup & 1 salad. "Today's Special" items are not included in the discount but they are usually the freshest seafood in their kitchen so I highly recommend trying something on their "Today's Special" menu. I had their Live Lobster sashimi twice and still can't get over how fresh and delicious it was. The best part is that it's only $25! If you were to get this in Manhattan, expect to pay double. It was a whole lobster. My only question is "where's the lobster claws?" I cannot not write about their Kumamoto oysters as they were mouth-wateringly delicious at $15 for 6 pieces. Also, their California uni at $6 per piece is something I would never skip! All of the sushi were fresh and delicious except for the seared tuna and seared salmon. Those 2 were my least favorite pieces. Perhaps, they are not good at searing? Always always ALWAYS get salmon! I also recommend their smoked salmon, salmon roe, wasabi tobiko, salmon avocado roll, and $1 squid as appetizers. Their squid ramen is NOT overpowered with MSG because I didn't die from thirst after finishing it. Already thinking about coming back!

What the hell is this !?! Lol what portion is this ?

The broth and rice combination was really comforting and satisfying. This dish was something I wanted to try in Japan but did not get a chance to experience when there, so I was excited to try it at Ozakaya. I was really pleasantly surprised by the ramen here as well. Lots of people came in and out for takeout orders so that seems to be more of the target audience. Service was quick and polite, we were there until 9:30 and they definitely seemed ready for us to be out of there before the 10PM closing time. As for the specialty rolls, there were some pretty creative options - don't shy away from seemingly odd combinations because the flavors really do work well together. I appreciated the rice:fish ratio on all the rolls, the rice was a thin layer letting the flavor of the other ingredients really come through. The plain spicy tuna roll on the other hand was filled with spicy tuna mixed with something crunchy - maybe puffed rice? It seemed to be an unnecessary filler, I would have preferred just fish. I enjoyed the Lovers Dream and Golden Sunset roll the most. While I was debating it while ordering, in hindsight I would definitely get two rolls per person, maybe more if you're really hungry.
