They do not take reservations and is in the Marriott compound. It is their casual outdoor restaurant with a bar. We were not staying at the resort. My father is in a wheelchair and from the boardwalk we took the ADA ramp that was open. Most people could walk up the stairs. After a 30-minute wait, we saw most people were doing takeout from the bar and getting food quickly. We decided to go that route. The takeout took less than 10 minutes to get two sandwiches and a kid's meal. Prices are what it is in this area of the island. The food was fine but nothing too special. It is a meal and was quick which is a huge challenge in Ko Olina. However, now the gate on the ADA ramp was locked. It is locked to leave and enter. There is no way to open it without a Marriott hotel key. Well, we don't have a key and are stuck. Again, the stairs are open for people to come and go but not the ADA ramp. We leave my dad at the gate and head back to Longboard and ask how we get out. They say you need a key..........girl at the front said she go get a manager. We waited 10 minutes with no manager. My husband went out to the boardwalk and asked a guest if they could help us. Unreal. Of course, now our food is really cold. First and last time I eat at Longboards. read more

This restaurant is right on the lagoon and the atmosphere is casual. The burger was excellent! The portions here are very large so be aware of that when ordering. I could only finish half the burger. The view is stunning but you are outside next to the beach so be prepared for some birdies to make little fly by visits. We got only drinks and fries here so can't comment much on the food! We got the pina colada which was amazing, and the mango swirl pina colada which was even better. The mango pina coladas reminded us of fresh mango juice we get back in India and it hit the spot. We couldn't even taste the alcohol and it went down like juice. Totally worth it. I ate at Longboards during my stay at the Marriott Vacation Club in Ko Olina. There is a bigger restaurant, and smaller huts around the pool area. During my afternoon of swimming in the awesome pools there, I needed some food. I ordered my food at one of the huts - the one nearest the pool with a slide. The man who helped me was very friendly and gave great customer service. I ordered the Kuala pork nachos, fries, and onion rings. The onion rings were a little soft, and fries were average. The nachos came out deconstructed - chips, meat and toppings were separate, so you can arrange them yourself and it probably helps it from getting soggy. The nachos were really yummy! Of course it is a little pricey, but that is what you get when you stay at a nice hotel and have convenient poolside food. read more

Besides being overpriced, c'mon a cheeseburger for $25? this place really has nothing I would want anymore. We have been here many times in the past. My wife ordered a quesadilla with some type of tropical stuff on it, the remnants are still in the fridge, and on their way to the trash. I made the mistake of ordering kalua pig nachos. The chips were the weirdest "tortilla" chips I have ever seen, maybe they were baked. I could make better at home. The pulled pork was ok, but the rest was slathered in salsa, more than I could ever want, a slug of weird guac, jalapenos, olives, etc. It was a mess that I would never have constructed, oh, I forgot the nacho cheese it was drenched in. Where to start, I'm staying at the resort so I've had a few experiences with this establishment. Complete let down in so many different aspects. One day I just wanted a few drinks and the line was only 5 people deep however the bartenders took "island time" to a whole new level. I would order at least 2 drinks per person or else you'll be standing in the uncovered heat sobering up or outright thirsty. The lady at the front trying to organize our table seemed to be very disoriented and honestly thought she took too many meds before work AND she worked multiple nights that week and I heard MANY general complaints about her. Hope she's okay honestly. Anyway, if you've made it this far god bless because the food is so so so bad. I ordered the "special" primed rib however they ran out a few hours into service. A special or trying to get rid of old meat, I'm sure you can work it out. I got the steak, medium rare and received it absolutely murdered. I genuinely wasn't surprised and just took it as a lesson learned. As someone who learns from my mistakes I would definitely take my business to Longhi's across the way. Similar price but don't try and rip off a tourist. Ps the wait staff are nice once you enter but that's after trying to wait as they don't take reservations. The food here at Longboards never disappoints. Today we lunched on the patio, overlooking the lagoon and the ocean in the shade. What could be better. The service was incredible. The food is plentiful and excellent. We have never had a bad bite at Longboards. Marilou, our server, was not only friendly and vivacious but knowledgeable, polite and caring. The drink offerings are numerous and the pours here are generous. Very very nice place to dine. Oh, and if you like sports, the bar has several TV's for your enjoyment. They have a happy hour from 2:00 - 5:00 pm daily. We tried the AYCE brunch (3.5 stars) because we had a coupon. It included scrabbled eggs, steamed rice, bacon, Portuguese sausage, breakfast, potato wedges, pancakes, miso soup, pastries, and toast. They also offered discounted cocktails during brunch. I tried the Asian Wings (4 stars), Buffalo Wings (3 stars), Nachos (1 star), Garlic Fries (3 stars), and Onion Rings (3 stars). My favorite drink was the Frozen Mai Tai (4 stars), which I preferred over the regular Mai Tai (3 stars) on the rocks. The S.O.S. (3.5 stars) was a sweet punch. I've had better versions of the Lava Flow (3 stars). The Summer Collins (3.5 stars) was a refreshing and not as sweet as the other cocktails. Since we ordered from here several times, the quality of the service varied with 2 star, 3 star, and 4 star experiences. The amazing Leihau was one of the most sweetest bartender with an amazing touch with handcrafted drinks!! The ambiance is very relaxed and welcoming, even as a local. I was very skeptical how this would play out because I wasn't a guest at Marriott, since this was in the back of their resort. As I walk into a relatively moderately consistent bar, I see such a warm and sweet bartender! Leihau was quick to serve and always stayed busy! I have only had the poke nachos, but they were bountiful and not skimpy! Fish was fresh and the sauces blended well! I always fear sometimes poke nachoes are too spicy, but these were just the right, salt and spicy, with just the right umami-ness! Overall, something I'll be back to have!
