Recently visited this cafe at the new location for a late breakfast. Since we were later (almost noon) there was no wait to be seated. Many tables that can accommodate small and large groups as well as booths. The waitress was quick to take our order and came by often to refill our coffee and tea. Meals order were the country fried steak and a bacon and cheese breakfast burrito. The country fried steak was large and had a good breading that didn't crumble off. The breakfast burrito had slices of bacon inside vs the bacon crumbled and cooked into the egg. It was ok, but I would select another option if I went there again. The tortilla could have been more grilled/toasted.

The food was good. We were waited on promptly. My only negative was some of the items at our booth weren't very clean and there were cobwebs on the wall (not a lot). The server was kind.

It's keep of like an original crackle barrel vibe. It's cute, the staff is super friendly and outgoing. I got the French toast special and it was great! Everything tasted good and was a good price. I'd come back.

Old school! Big plates. Customized. Filling. Solid. Butter forward. Just yum! The place is a trucker's dream. Service was fast and friendly.

We loved the Log Cabin cafe. The proximity if you are a guest at Big Cedar Lodge is perfect, 5 mins away right outside the alternative BCL entrance. And prices can't be beat, considering how expensive BCL is. It's quaint and done well, you feel like your in a log cabin, even the bathroom looks like an outhouse. The service is a okay and very friendly. And they have everything you'd want for breakfast or lunch. I get the sense it's probably pretty busy for breakfast and has a reputation for a great breakfast. We went for lunch and (yes you can get breakfast for lunch). The pancakes are huge, seriously you only need to eat one. I enjoyed the grilled cheese, you can never go wrong with that, just wish it was a little bigger. We loved the Log Cabin cage and you will too, they have a great kids meal and our very family friendly. Give it a try and enjoy!!

1 egg breakfast Sub pancake for toast/biscuit

Breakfast served all day! A friend and I stopped here for breakfast and it was tasty. I ordered the 1 egg breakfast ($9.00) and subbed a pancake for the biscuit/toast option. There was no upcharge for subbing which was awesome and this pancake was a meal within itself! The entire breakfast was HUGE and tasty! My friend had an omelet and really enjoyed it as well. The employees all worked together to take care of the customers and multiple people came by to check on us. This restaurant is fairly small but they spaced out the diners. We chose to sit by the door (not thinking) and it was quite cold due to people coming in and out and there is a loud alarm that sounds every time the door opens and repeatedly when it is held open. Avoid sitting by the door when you go.

Every time we are on Hwy 65 on Friday and tits around lunch time, we stop in Log Cabin Cafe for their Open Face Roast Beef Sandwich served with green beans and mashed potato's. This is one of my husband and my favorite sandwich of all time and let me tell you, it would be hard to beat their sandwich with white gravy. Service is always checking on you and they are courteous. Since it is a log cabin on the inside well, that's its ambiance.

Not as good as we hoped food seems like frozen reheated and bacon tasted strange. Also not crazy about multiple rebel flags.

You must stop here. The food is incredible and feels like home. Hash browns, omelettes and B&G were our faves.

Everything was undercooked. Bacon was practically raw. Prices are good but we expected a lot more for what it was.

We sat at the bar and they wiped off every single syrup dispenser, ketchup bottle, etc. I had the pancake with bacon (ordered extra crispy). The pancake was enormous. And so good!! I recently returned a year after the first visit, and it hasn't changed a bit. The menu is extensive insofar as classic American fare is concerned, but this isn't the kind of place you'll find 4 clever variations on Eggs Benedict. Anything named after Benedict Arnold has no place in the Ozarks. A year ago, I ordered a western omelet, which commanded my attention and exertions for the better part of 20 minutes. The portions are definitely generous - the pancakes are the size of pizzas. If you're on Ozempic, either skip this place or confine yourself to a single slice of wheat toast. Some gals in the group demurely ordered half portions of biscuits and gravy, thinking a dainty portion would show dedication to preserving their girlish figures. These "half portions" filled the entire (largish) plate. I made a mental note to opt for this on any future visit, and that future arrived this week. Biscuits were country-good, and the gravy was substantial, not that watery stuff that is sometimes drizzled on Pillsbury-from-the-tube biscuits. If you're in Branson, head a little south of the dam to Hungry Hunter. Get there early, because this place is deservedly popular and there will probably be a wait. And the parking can be a bit contentious. It's not open on Monday or Tuesday.

According to the history of the property, it was originally built in the 1920s as a country retreat for executive Harry Worman and his wife Dorothy, and it has the most gorgeous decor with so much character. The food was exceptional, and they even have Harry's Cocktail Lounge and Bar tucked away downstairs. Definitely make sure you get there early enough to grab a great cocktail, enjoy the live music, and sit by the beautiful outdoor fire pits. It is such an intimate, cozy spot, and the views outside are just as incredible as the dishes. On top of all that, the staff was super attentive.
