We stopped in for a quick break and grabbed coffee, hot chocolate, and a pastry. Everything hit the spot and was exactly what you want on a travel stop. One thing I really appreciated is that they have a separate line/cashier for food, which keeps things moving and makes the whole experience feel efficient, even when it's busy. This place is a delight. Great stop over if going through and a definite gem for Harrison. Check the pictures. We got the pumpkin muffin that had real butter cream stuffing and bran muffin with no sugar. We should have got more of those pumpkin muffins! So good. Drinks, American smoothie () and chai latte (). The chai was a not very latte ish and very sweet. Not a chai I prefer but forgot to ask where it's from. It's good to ask where it's from. You could get an answer like "we are not allowed to tell you." That was recent will review that. In that case drive or run away! This is a cute place, unique and does have a sit down restaurant inside. We didn't do that but the menu is very nice, as what they are known for bread bakery items. Ultimate breakfast stop in Harrison, AR! This bakery has it all.... Smoothies, coffee, muffins, stickybuns, cinnamon rolls, breakfast sandwiches, omelettes. Chipotle breakfast sandwich was really good! My son said the best he has had! My girls loved the stickybuns and cinnamon rolls! We liked them so much we are taking a large to go order to the air bnb for tomorrows breakfast! If you are in the area this local gem is a must try! I hear they have a great lunch also. We stopped at Neighbor's Mill Bakery & Cafe on our way home from Branson, and it ended up being one of the highlights of the trip. The moment you walk in, the smell of fresh-baked bread is incredible and immediately tells you you picked the right place. The indoor atmosphere is also really cool, styled like an old mill, which gives the place a warm, unique character. Everything we ordered lived up to the first impression. The omelets were great, and the toast that came with them -- made from their fresh-baked bread -- was absolutely amazing. We also got smoothies and cinnamon rolls, and both were fantastic. The smoothies tasted fresh and flavorful, and the cinnamon rolls were enormous (literally the size of your face), fluffy, and wonderfully substantial without being heavy. To top it all off, the prices were very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. If you're anywhere nearby, this is definitely worth a stop for breakfast or a bakery treat. We'll be making it a regular stop whenever we're passing through. read more

There is little to say about this place, but the few things I can say are only good. It's a nice cozy little sit down deli / bakery, old timey yet comfortable atmosphere. My favorite is the avocado turkey sandwich, it has whole wheat bread that actually isn't dry, and just enough flavor to call a tasty sandwich without being overwhelming. This morning ran in to get a couple muffins for breakfast. I got one blueberry and one pumpkin cream cheese. The muffins are LARGE. The muffins are a meal unto themselves. The blueberry muffin couldn't have got one more berry in it. It was packed with them. So good. The pumpkin muffin had a hole in the center where cream cheese is piped in to it. Delicious. If you have tried their sandwiches, homemade breads, cookies and cakes you truly are e missing out. The restaurant was packed. It usually is. They are efficient. The service received was fast and courteous. This morning the owner was behind the register, however, regardless who is taking your order, making your order, or delivering it to your table, everyone is so friendly and nice. Nice spot to grab some local baked goods, warm soup, and sandwiches. You order at the two counters (one for meals and one for the bakery) and can bring your food to sit at a table inside or outside (about 4 patio tables by the entrance). My friends and I tried the brownie cookie (highly recommended), oatmeal raisin cookie, and chocolate chip cookie (all about $2 each). All were very nicely made with good texture (crispy on outside edges with soft chewy center). We also got the pumpkin creme cupcakes and lemon poppy cupcake and those were moist and tasty too. Surprised another friend by getting them a slice of turtle pie (chocolatey goodness) for their birthday today. Bought a jar of homemade peach habanero jam from Ozark Mountain Company $6.50. Guys. I'm a very decent cook/baker and I don't often want to sample baked goods from bakeries. But we're on a road trip with granddaughters so... We all had soup and sandwiches. All very good. But then I got my girls two of every kind of cookie they have--oatmeal raisin, chocolate chip, white chocolate macadamia nut, sugar, brownie and peanut butter. Not cheap. Absolutely worth it. Best oatmeal raisin cookie I ever had. BEST SUGAR COOKIE IN THE WORLD. I mean it and I'm not even a sugar cookie fan--or, I wasn't, but I am NOW as long as they come from NEIGHBOR'S MILL! I know I sound over the top but I'm speaking the truth. I live in Houston and I'm telling you, this little bakery will be one of the highlights of our canoeing trip. First time we went everything was delicious and staff was very courteous. We went a third time and our turkey sandwiches had one slice each of turkey, tomato and lettuce. Most bites were bread as it was poorly slapped together by a bunch of young rude staffers. So disappointed. read more

I have been here before, but it has been several years. We stopped on the way to Branson. We got the sour cream pecan bread (Yum, Yum). We ordered the raisin bread for our return trip because they were out. We returned today for lunch and to pick up our order. Neat, clean restaurant with friendly servers. Quaint atmosphere. Now let's get to the real reason. Lunch was delicious. The salad sampler was amazing. Others had the Reuben- authentic and great. The beef and cheese on sour dough was excellent, especially with the au jus. While lunch was great, the bread, muffins, and cookies are the real stars of this place. Since we ordered our breads ahead of time, they were still hot from the oven. Big old homemade cookies! Different coffees or teas make this a great place to stop. What I like to do when I'm traveling is to find a cute bakery in the destination. My destination this trip is/was Jasper (AR) but Harrison is the closest full-service town/city only 15 miles away from Jasper so when we spotted this bakery on the way to our cute mountain cottage, we had to make a stop to check it out. As soon as we stepped inside, a display of different flavors of muffins welcomed us. And they all looked tasty. Once we laid our eyes on the pumpkin cream cheese muffin, we walked all the way to the register where they take orders for sandwiches, soups, salads etc. My daughter picked Turkey Basil sandwich which I had problem with (we always order one thing and split it between us.) And we were kind of shocked to find that the Turkey Basil sandwich was only $6.99 (this kind of sandwich is easily $8.99 or $9.45 or somewhere in that neighborhood in Denver where we live!) We also got one refillable drink. The total was around $13 all together. Wow, this was super reasonable! I was amazed with the three unsweetened teas. Two black teas and one green tea have some other flavors in them and they all tasted good (as we mix all three in the cup.) The restaurant inside was clean. All the staff were friendly and courteous to us. Once the same lady who took our order called my name as our sandwich was ready, we walked out while we were being sent off by staff's cheerful thank you/good-bye. Stopped in this local Cafe after a long drive. Everyone was nice and they had a wide range of pastries and coffee flavors. After a bad experience with a unique flavor earlier that day at a different coffee shop, I decided to go with my ole trusty vanilla iced latte. I was well balance and well put together coffee. I also tried the cinnamon roll, make sure you ask them to heat it up. It was delicious and you could tell that the icing was homemade. We rarely pass through Harrison without stopping here. We love the food and bakery goodies. Try the Bleu Apple salad and cranberry turkey sandwich. Be sure to grab a cookie and maybe a loaf of their wonderful breads. had been wanting to try this place for a while. we ended up going in the exit for the (cafe ?) or main food line. door wasn't marked but it was for the quick pick bakery. there was a youngish man who explained where we could order food. it was a kinda interesting as you order from one register and have to travel to a different register for any drinks and to pay. our food arrived pretty quickly and it was pretty good. ordered a vegetarian chili bread bowl and roast beef sandwich. the chili was a little spicy but hit the spot. the bread bowl was a little sweet but way to much to eat. the roast beef was just right so that will definitely be a favorite when we come again. we arrived just in time it seems because after our food arrived (4 pmish), it was like school let out. the place became packed with people. everyone must have been getting off work and stopped on the way home. lol nice ambiance. we sat by a window which was nice. it's a big open room but not to loud with people talking. they offer a variety of menu items. their bakery area was full of muffins, cookies and bread. definitely the crowd favorite. definitely recommend. read more
