Recently visited this cafe at the new location for a late breakfast. Since we were later (almost noon) there was no wait to be seated. Many tables that can accommodate small and large groups as well as booths. The waitress was quick to take our order and came by often to refill our coffee and tea. Meals order were the country fried steak and a bacon and cheese breakfast burrito. The country fried steak was large and had a good breading that didn't crumble off. The breakfast burrito had slices of bacon inside vs the bacon crumbled and cooked into the egg. It was ok, but I would select another option if I went there again. The tortilla could have been more grilled/toasted.

The food was good. We were waited on promptly. My only negative was some of the items at our booth weren't very clean and there were cobwebs on the wall (not a lot). The server was kind.

It's keep of like an original crackle barrel vibe. It's cute, the staff is super friendly and outgoing. I got the French toast special and it was great! Everything tasted good and was a good price. I'd come back.

Old school! Big plates. Customized. Filling. Solid. Butter forward. Just yum! The place is a trucker's dream. Service was fast and friendly.

We loved the Log Cabin cafe. The proximity if you are a guest at Big Cedar Lodge is perfect, 5 mins away right outside the alternative BCL entrance. And prices can't be beat, considering how expensive BCL is. It's quaint and done well, you feel like your in a log cabin, even the bathroom looks like an outhouse. The service is a okay and very friendly. And they have everything you'd want for breakfast or lunch. I get the sense it's probably pretty busy for breakfast and has a reputation for a great breakfast. We went for lunch and (yes you can get breakfast for lunch). The pancakes are huge, seriously you only need to eat one. I enjoyed the grilled cheese, you can never go wrong with that, just wish it was a little bigger. We loved the Log Cabin cage and you will too, they have a great kids meal and our very family friendly. Give it a try and enjoy!!

Every time we are on Hwy 65 on Friday and tits around lunch time, we stop in Log Cabin Cafe for their Open Face Roast Beef Sandwich served with green beans and mashed potato's. This is one of my husband and my favorite sandwich of all time and let me tell you, it would be hard to beat their sandwich with white gravy. Service is always checking on you and they are courteous. Since it is a log cabin on the inside well, that's its ambiance.

Loved the open faced roast beef lunch special. Their omelette was perfectly cooked. Any time you find a restaurant in a truck stop the entrance is through the attached flea market, you have to try it!

I recently returned a year after the first visit, and it hasn't changed a bit. The menu is extensive insofar as classic American fare is concerned, but this isn't the kind of place you'll find 4 clever variations on Eggs Benedict. Anything named after Benedict Arnold has no place in the Ozarks. A year ago, I ordered a western omelet, which commanded my attention and exertions for the better part of 20 minutes. The portions are definitely generous - the pancakes are the size of pizzas. If you're on Ozempic, either skip this place or confine yourself to a single slice of wheat toast. Some gals in the group demurely ordered half portions of biscuits and gravy, thinking a dainty portion would show dedication to preserving their girlish figures. These "half portions" filled the entire (largish) plate. I made a mental note to opt for this on any future visit, and that future arrived this week. Biscuits were country-good, and the gravy was substantial, not that watery stuff that is sometimes drizzled on Pillsbury-from-the-tube biscuits. If you're in Branson, head a little south of the dam to Hungry Hunter. Get there early, because this place is deservedly popular and there will probably be a wait. And the parking can be a bit contentious. It's not open on Monday or Tuesday.

There was something off-putting about the CFS. I didn't care for the coating or the gravy. I'd give it a 2/5. My stepmom gave it a 4/5. Her tastebuds are broken. My dad enjoyed his omelette and said the veggies were lightly sautéed and not greasy. The service was good. The wait was not worth the taste of the CFS, but honestly, 0 minutes of waiting is not worth the CFS. I typically love CFS, but in this case, I wish I had tried the French toast instead. Me: 2/5 (based solely on taste, 5/5 for portion size) Stepmom: 4/5 Dad: 5/5 then amended to 8/10, which is 4/5

We arrived a bit early for our 10am reservation and enjoyed the scenery while waiting. I also enjoyed the interior decor that included Native American artwork and artifacts. When making our 8:00 PM reservation in the Atrium, we were required to pay a $500 deposit. We arrived on time but were not seated until nearly 9:00 PM. One of the main reasons we reserved the Atrium was to enjoy the sunset views, but because our table was not ready, we completely missed the sunset. Once seated, the service remained very slow, and our food arrived only lukewarm. For a restaurant with Osage's reputation and pricing, we expected much better execution and attention to timing. The bright spot of the evening was our server, Christian. He was cheerful, professional, and thorough in explaining the menu and answering our questions. His positive attitude helped make the best of a disappointing situation. Overall, I would not recommend reserving the Atrium if your dining experience depends on being seated at your reservation time. Let's get right to it this place feels overpriced for what you're getting. The food comes off very commercial, chain-style, nothing that really stands out or justifies the cost.
