Unfortunately, the last couple of times weren't so great. The food was like whoever cooking was certainly not a regular time before last. Then the next time there was a table of loud obnoxious drunks in the corner and doing it all in Spanish. It's one thing to have to put up with such behavior in public, it's another altogether when the staff is parked at their table, joining in on the "fun". We left without ordering.

However, that didn't really detract from the other fresh veggies. The dish came out with a literal cauldron of goodness with lots of flavor. Included were rice and beans. Let's not forget the salsa bar either! I piled on the habanero salsa and it was nice and spicy. There was enough food for at least 2 full meals. The leftovers were great again the next day. I would definitely recommend Arandas for a more authentic Mexican experience, especially if you don't like "vanilla" dishes!

They have a little salsa bar to get some sauces. Green and orange were very hot which I love so they were perfect for me! Also a mild one to choose and sliced radishes and cucumbers which I love stuffing radishes onto my tacos. We showed up 20 min before close and it was no problem. Very welcoming. It took longer than expected to get the food being as we were the only ones in there but that told me they cooked it all fresh and took care in the preparation. Not just thrown in a basket and here ya go be quick and get going!
