When in Branson this is our go to for Mexican. Great food. Great service. Friendly. Fast attention to details and food to your table. Chips salsa is a must. If you have the means I highly recommend them! read more

Recommended by Tracy at Ballparks Of America and this did not disappoint! We of course had to get the margaritas which were delicious! My husband got regular and I got strawberry, next time I would get half-and-half. We ordered the 4 taco plate (2 carne asada 1 pastor & 1 Barbacoa) which were all delicious and I would totally get again! Also ordered the three enchilada plate with red sauce - came with one of each cheese, shredded beef - shredded beef was definitely the best - Could have been hotter & the table ordered crispy a.k.a. crunchy shell tacos, nachos without meat and Kids quesadilla. Our server was amazing and super friendly and fun! Margarita refills get a little pricey. Did have a nice size patio but it was not open when we went for lunch which was a bummer. The tacos were delicious and so were the margaritas - would definitely go back! read more

The place is quite small and quaint. And everything is as clean as a whistle. The food is good....and a pretty good value for Branson. - Enchiladas were pretty darn good. Certain Mexican cheese that always works. -Refried beans are a classic type style and taste. - Rice isn't my favorite. Oh, it's edible and it's not like I had to chow it down. But it's missing that slightly toasted flavor to the rice; that to me; makes for a much better Mexican rice. - Chips and salsa are solid enough. Food came out fast...and the waitress was just as fast. read more

So good!!! We enjoyed the wonderful margaritas, the fajitas, hillbilly chicken, queso, guacamole (amazing)!!. It was all amazing and could not have asked for a better lunch. So good and very reasonable priced. read more

the food was pretty darn good. we had enchiladas and burritos. they have a collection of sauces available, and the gringo server was very good :-) . this was a friday afternoon and we had time to kill. we had more margaritas than we should have - $90 worth. they were not large ones. 3 margaritas each at $15 for two people. the price was not published on the menu, and we were surprised when our lunch turned out to be $160. buyer beware i guess. if the price isn't published, best to ask, and best not to have 3 of them read more

The sign out front said "best margaritas and fajitas in town", and they absolutely delivered! Both of them were incredible and we can't recommend this place highly enough. read more

I love authentic Mexican and Tex-Mex. I am not sure what this was, but neither of these (I did not expect Tex-Nex). Waiter did not particularly care if we were there or not. Out of lettuce for taco salad. Was told green sauce was only a little hot- NOT A LITTLE TO ME. The chips were fried in slight old oil, not rancid but old. read more

Everything was store-bought and they still couldn't make it right. longest open restaurant in Branson waste of lot space. if you want real tacos go to the gas station off 65 also check out Arandas in DT Branson. $50 for 10 tacos made from trash. What a joke. read more

I give it a C minus. I went there for lunch. The frijoles were runny versus creamy, chips were slightly stale and tasted like they were fried in old oil. The salsa was unremarkable. Main course was a burrito enchilada style. It was more like a flauta with taco bell mystery meat inside. The margarita was good. Maybe it's because I just relocated from Arizona but this did not hit the spot. Cafe itself is small but clean and waiter was quick and attentive. My one item lunch and marg came to 30 dollars plus tip. Won't be back. read more

I came visited casa Fuentes a few years ago and their food was below average but I decided to stop there today and give them another chance. I ordered the menudo and tbh if I was the owner I would be embarrassed to serve it. The menudo was extremely spicy and it was cold and lacked taste. The service was average and the rest of the food was comparable to a Taco Bell. This place has a lot of potential but I'm not sure why they don't care about the quality of their food. read more

This place wasn't very good at all. They were missing ingredients, the soda and tea was watered down, the hamburger meat was undercooked, the two chicken chimichangas looked like little burritos with no salsa or cheese on top. Lettuce was burying them. The beans were watery and the rice was dry. The meat didn't taste seasoned. They didn't have diet pop, they weren't able to cook certain food items, we almost left before they brought the food out because the drinks tasted weird. They are also way too expensive for the food quality. read more

On August 12, 2025 we sat down to an awful quick lunch at this restaurant. The burrito with enchilada sauce came from I believe a Campbell soup brand. The lemonade drink was just as bad and the beef fajita platter was bad. I give this place an FF. The waitress was came over to ask what was wrong and I told her this is definitely not enchilada sauce. read more

Food was delicious! Restaurant is small and clean. The service was quick and friendly! We will be back!

Try the Hillbilly Special. It's my go to dish here. Rice, chicken, queso, what's not to love. Staff is always pleasant and food is always good. read more

Food was great! I had Sancho Dinner and my wife had Cheese Quesadillas. The "homemade burrito sauce" on the sancho was so good that we ordered a bowl of it to dip her quesadilla in. This is a "hole in the wall" that we'll return to again. A hidden gem. read more

We had a group of 6 with 1 baby. We walked in and only 2 tables were full. The rest of the restaurant was empty. The girl behind the register never looked up, but said "sit where you want". We asked to pull 2 tables together as they only seat 4. Her abrupt response was " We don't pull tables together". We asked again nicely. She was very rude and refused to accommodate our group in an empty restaurant. So, we left. Not to return in the future! Apparently, they don't need the business. read more

Food was excellent as well as the service. Would definitely go back. Only eight tables so is very small but with good food and good service size is not an issue. read more

i've been coming here for years and it has been very consistent with quality and service.

Giving a two only because the server was very nice. Pretty gross when you find a hair in the salsa, and then when you get your plate there is a little black hair on the side of the plate. Chips were stale, salsa was super liquidy and had a strange taste. Don't get me started on the rice. I'm usually a clean my plate kinda person and I left more than half. All that awfulness and it was still $60+ for me and my 2 kids. read more

Pretty good food, I recommend it. Entrees were tasty and authentic, service was OK. Restaurant is tiny inside, only nine tables and somewhat noisy. There is a nice patio eating area in the back with lots of tables, some with umbrellas if you like dining alfresco. Extensive menu choices. All in all we were satisfied and plan to return. read more

I ordered Menudo to go. Got two cups for 10.50 plus tip. Got home. One cup was broth. The other was something??? Needless to say whatever it was, looked old and canned. Perhaps the rest of there meals are similar. What a shame!! read more

This is the BEST authentic Mexican cuisine around. The conchinita pibil is amazing. The service is great and the small dining room allows for an intimate dining experience. Highly recommended!!! read more

Food wasn't bad but plates were very small and overpriced. Our waiter also got some of our order wrong.

Nice clean environment. Friendly, the food was yummy, but a little pricey. I'll definitely come back when I'm in town again. read more

Maybe we came on a bad day. To start, the flies were bad in the dining area (which is really small); the queso dip was so super runny and watered down (fortunately the waitress noticed and got us another one, which was better but still not quite right. Portion sizes are quite small- especially for the prices. My taco salad was filled about 1/3 way inside the taco shell. It was supposed to have tomatoes ... and literally had ONE tiny cube on top. My friend did enjoy the pollo chicken. The service was good, however. Our waitress was very kind, and served us quickly. Unfortunately, I will not return. read more

the guy serving us was awesome. super kind and attentive and friendly. seems to be a small-family owned business, definitely recommend. the food is really good. read more

great food! excellent service! nice cold air conditioner. our waiter was friendly and helpful and food came out very fast

We actually stopped at this restaurant based on Jeremy C's review. I am glad we did. I had the spinach enchiladas. They were a great and tasty vegetarian option. There was just the right amount of cheese sauce to compliment their flavor. Other members of my party enjoyed beef fajitas and chicken enchiladas. For dessert, my dad had the flan and I shared the fried ice cream with my mom. All were delicious. The homemade salsa was great. The only thing that could make the food better is possibly having boiled instead of re-fried beans as an option. Also, the building is pretty small, so if you have a larger group, you may have to break up the tables. Overall, this is a great Mexican restaurant, and I will definitely go again when I'm in town. read more

I have been going to this restaurant for over 22 years and always had been fantastic, went this past weekend and it was horrible, I asked if it was the same owner and the waitress said yes and the same cook for the last 5 years, i told her how disappointing it all was - there was 5 of us-3 of us have been going for many years, she couldn't have cared less, totally turned me off, sorry to say after 22 years I won't be back- that's how bad it was. read more

The food portion was small. The chips and salsa are ok. But the food very bland. I ordered the hillbilly plate. Rice with grilled pieces of chicken breast. Covered with a cheese sauce that's not good. Missed the grilled onion/bell peppers. Service was ok. Overpriced for what you get. read more
