However, that didn't really detract from the other fresh veggies. The dish came out with a literal cauldron of goodness with lots of flavor. Included were rice and beans. Let's not forget the salsa bar either! I piled on the habanero salsa and it was nice and spicy. There was enough food for at least 2 full meals. The leftovers were great again the next day. I would definitely recommend Arandas for a more authentic Mexican experience, especially if you don't like "vanilla" dishes!

It took longer than expected to get the food being as we were the only ones in there but that told me they cooked it all fresh and took care in the preparation. I thought these ribs here were much better than anything we tried in Kansas City. While the smoke flavor isn't as pronounced as Texas style the dry rub and layering of flavor on the ribs was superb.
