Pretty solid Mexican food. I did the three amigos tacos...shrimp, carne asada, and carnitas. I also the trio chips and guacamole, queso, and salsa for the table. Salsa was really good. About 30% overpriced for Mexican food but not any other choices up here at lunchtime. Top of the Rock cart tour and museum made this worth it!

This was the only restaurant open before 4 at top of the rock. Wait was about 30 minutes and we were sat. Dining room has a great view. Our server was attentive so no issues there. I ordered the corn chowder which i thought would have whole corn in a cream based sauce. It came out pureed and had just ok flavor. My son got the kids chicken nuggets and fries and said they tasted weird. I tried both and it appears they need to change out the grease. Husband got the chimichanga and the chicken looked gray but he said it was ok. Would skip this place unless they make some changes soon.

Portobello mushroom taco's...splendid!!

Amazing views of Table Rock Lake. Good food and atmosphere. Nice place to catch some grub after touring the Natural History Museum. The Mushroom Taco's were so GOOD! 3 tacos's loaded with mushrooms, guacamole, pico & pickled onions. Includes rice & beans.

If you're in Branson, I consider this a must... be it for a meal, or simply to see the Barn structure, golf course, and scenery/landscaping surrounding it. Wow! That darling little church visible from the veranda, so gorgeous! Beware, you probably shouldn't arrive hangry - be prepared to wait. It is always bustling and justifiably so (for reasons already stated). We sat out on the perimeter deck on a weather-perfect day. I got the Caesar salad with grilled chicken. The salad and dressing were delicious but those cornbread croutons? Big no. Great idea, but they were bland and an unpleasant texture.

Nice casual spot at Top of the rock. Service was great. Food was good. I would recommend Arnies if you're looking for a casual meal at TOR.

Over priced and under staffed. Just a souvenir shop with $3.00 bottles of pop. I would give it a pass.

There is not a dress code here which was nice as we were not dressed up for the upscale dining experience. The elk soup was phenomenal really surprised me although I ordered it extra hot and it was warm at best. The whipped honey butter with truffle sea salt was amazing as well. I ordered a paloma for my wife and I, priced at $22 each -- this would be $9-$14 back in KC... I get it, resort prices, but still got sticker shock. While it looked beautiful, it was not good. Very underwhelming for what you pay, and sparse on alcohol. We got some spinach artichoke dip which was really good and helped salvage the experience. The view out on the patio is nice; you're on "the top of the rock" overlooking the lake and a golf course. It's quite manicured up there, but it's nice either way. We stuck around for the sunset show with bagpipes and a cannon firing which was interesting. At one point he played "Dixie" on the bagpipes, what the hell?? but otherwise it was kind of interesting. So much of the menu here is similar to all their other restaurants, and I found it confusing to keep up with what is what. My take on Big Cedar restaurants after a few days is that Worman House is amazing, as is Truman for breakfast, everything else is kind of all the same average spot mixed together.

The grounds and view from the restaurant are truly spectacular. Rolling hills and canyons. Details in design are paid attention to here and that shows. Overall, the food was good but not totally outstanding. My favorite was the beet salad. I would recommend the steak too, but the short rib was tough and over powered by the apple cider vinegar it was marinated in. The sides were solid, typical steakhouse style- buttery corn and roasted Brussel sprouts. Washing this dinner down with $24 Old Fashions was steep (if you want them smoked there's an additional $4 charge) and caused us to imbibe in 1 drink each. The kids meals were good with standard options including chicken tenders, but I'd pass on the surprise sundae. It wasn't very exciting--- the surprise was whipped cream on top. Maybe just call it a sundae. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. Consider booking a table by the window to take in the view and ordering the beet salad.

The waiter would leave water glasses empty for extended periods of time. He took quite awhile to bring the wine & other beverages. He would seem very put out if we needed anything & rarely checked in on us. Food was terrible. The potatoes were cold, the lobster bisque was embarrassing (it was watered down & unseasoned. No bisque, more broth-like), salads had too much dressing, & overall most of our party were unhappy with the quality of food. My mom's 60th should have been special but it was a restaurant nightmare. (Also, no recognition of her birthday even though I said it when making the reservation AND reminded our waiter). This place is pricey & ambience is Missouri chic, but don't waste your time.
