Food was average but our service was terrible. We saw our server four times...to take our drink order, to take our food order, to clear our table and to deliver the check. Not once did he check on our table during our meal to check quality of meal, drink refills, etc. We had an issue with one plate but he cleared it away and didn't ask any questions. I love going here for a date night or just to grab dinner with the girls. The atmosphere is relaxed, fun and they have great indoor or outdoor seating. Mediterranean?!? I had the gyros plate. It's was mediocre at best. The sauces it came with were lacking in flavor. Jalapeno hummus? Not a good combination. When are people gonna get some standards. A good gyro isn't amazing, it's expected. Clean new decor doesn't make a restaurant. I've been here multiple times and it is already started to slide to a 2 star basic katy restaurant. People eat there because it's new and we become out of options. If you build it, they will come and eat, but don't fool yourself into thinking this is anything but an overpriced chilis. I haven't seen anything "farm-to-table" yet. Tell me the farm and show a change in ingredients once in awhile, and I might fall for the propaganda, but as it stands, I'm for from impressed. I've had ok service from certain individuals, but unfortunately they don't make up for the rest of the floundering staff. It's the new lunch salad place for spoiled katy wives, not much more than that. Don't believe me? It's meatloaf, pizza, burgers, chicken, salmon and a normal gyro. Let's not pretend it's special. We deserve better. You owe it to yourselves to have higher standards and not have places like this continue to love forward like we are morons who'll eat anything anywhere. Heard many good things about the food so I decided to pop in for lunch. Order the salmon wedge salad. The salmon cooked perfectly which is rare in this part of town. Moist and very flavorful. My wife and I had dinner at Local Table a few nights ago. Elvin at the bar was superb. Not only was he attentive, but he even noticed the lack of steam coming out of my wife's coffee and insisted on getting her a hot, fresh cup. Our food was great. The food was good but the service was really bad. It was a Sunday night, and slightly crowded. No waiting for a table, We sat on the patio which was nice. We ordered drinks and appetizers, and even after the appetizer was completely gone we didn't have a server come by to check in or even take our dinner order. Eventually one of us went in and got a waiter. The food came fairly quickly once we ordered, but all this time no one ever bought us silver ware or napkins. Once we could eat, it then took way longer to get our check. One of us had to go inside to request the check too. Not the experience I was expecting. I am going to give Local Table 5 stars. This restaurant is not a 5 star spot in NYC, but this might be the best restaurant in Katy, TX. The service is good, the atmosphere is comfortable and casual, and the food is excellent. This restaurant could be put in any neighborhood of any city and it would be a hit. read more

Food was amazing, and so was the service. Went on a Sunday morning for brunch with a table of 10 and every one was beyond pleased with their food. We ordered from all over the menu so we got a good variety of foods served. It all came out at the right temperature, and it was all cooked perfectly. The ham in the Ham and cheese omelet was maybe the best I have ever had. While you may be thinking, it's just ham, no, it's not. It's that damn good. Owners and managers are invested in your experience and genuinely want to have you return. Our family favorites are Sangria with Baja Chicken wraps, Salmon Wedge salad and Crossings Sauvignon Blanc, Bacon Cheese burger without avocado. The patio is lovely too.
