I have been recommended this restaurant more than once. So I decided to finally take the hint and made reservations to see what this place had to offer. When you walk in it very upscale and definitely a place that appears to have left no stone unturned when decorating. We were sat down immediately and then our server Lynne came over to greet us. Lynne asked was this my first time at the restaurant and then proceeded to make recommendations. I started with the Goat cheese shareable and Lynne even talked us into trying a glass of wine. The food was phenomenal and definitely cooked to order. I had every intention on trying one of the desserts that sounded delicious but I could t eat another bite. This was a wonderful decision and I'm only sad I didn't try it sooner. But I will be back and their ribeye is spot on.

It's a bit warm to sit on the patio just yet, but the inside is beautifully decorated and very clean. Our waiter, nicknamed Sharky was fantastic! This is a wonderful spot for a special brunch or special occasion.
I had an amazing evening at Pearl and Vine celebrating my friend's birthday. The ambiance of the restaurant was intimate with soft lighting. The private room reserved for our party was beautifully arranged and the wait staff were very attentive and accommodating. I ordered the texas gulf snapper with coconut jasmine rice and sautéed kale and garlic. It was absolutely delicious!! Very flavorful!! For dessert I chose the apple bread pudding with ice-cream. It was a bit much for one person in my opinion. After dinner, we took pictures outside in the back of the restaurant where there is a beautiful lawn in the background. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend checking them out!
I went to Pearl & Vine for social hour, which is every day from 4pm-7pm, which is nice. They have free parking and valet parking. The building, dining area, and bar area are all nice. We sat in the bar area and the service was a little slow but our waiter was friendly. We had a few p&v bar bites and were good. The oysters were big and fresh, and they give you real crackers. The chicken skewers were good but not enough to share. I enjoyed the short rib sliders the most, they were delicious! The flatbread was okay. They also had live music, which was nice. Overall, it was a good experience and I will be back.
First off, this place is gorgeous. There's plenty of space, a great ambiance, and the live music really adds to the experience. That said, the noise level was a bit too high for my taste. Our waitress was fantastic--very attentive and friendly, which made a big difference. The food was tasty and, in my opinion, worth the higher price point. I wasn't very hungry, so I stuck with appetizers for dinner, and they did not disappoint. Overall, I'd definitely come back, especially to try the steaks next time.

I absolutely loved the music selection and the live music they really added to the overall experience. The food was delicious and the ambiance was amazing. It's such a great spot to relax and enjoy time with friends, on a date, or even solo. The place was clean, the staff were friendly and welcoming. You may need a reservation depending on how busy it is but sitting at the bar or bar area is also a great option. The slider appetizer were especially nice! I'll definitely be back and recommend..
We stopped by just for drinks tonight around 9:30pm. Evan, their head bartender, is amazing every time we go in. He's a great mixologist & so personable. His drinks are always smooth and tastes Amazing. So tonight I challenged him with a Carajillo which, I noticed they added to the menu, and one of my favorite drinks. He did not disappoint. He's also a great conversation at closing time. It just feels so personal, but the drinks are so great.
Lovely, bright dining space. My in-laws took me here for my birthday. They have a brunch menu on Sundays. There were simply way too many items on their menu that sounded fantastic. We started off with the tuna and salmon poke. This is quite different from the usual pokes I've eaten in the past. It's a nicely plated stack of tuna and salmon on top of a seaweed salad and topped with bits of crunchy strips fried wontons. I enjoyed the grilled ahi tuna, perfectly grilled rare. The ponzu roasted brussel sprouts were amazing and the picked mushrooms added a zesty brightness to the dish. For dessert, we had the apple pie bread pudding, topped with a cinnamon roll ice cream. The bread pudding was a tall serving of deliciously soft and rich custardy goodness. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and were left feeling very satiated.

This place is such a hidden Gem in Katy!! We always drive by but finally had a chance to come and celebrate 2 birthdays. They had live music on the weekend which was such a great touch, the outdoor area is so beautiful and indoors has plenty of space. It truly feels like you are in Fredericksburg or somewhere else. The food is okay, it can definitely be much better imo. You can tell some of it may not be made fresh. They also grat'ed our bill when there was only 4 adults and 1 3 year old child. Definitely do not agree with that at all but yeah.
Very nice and welcoming with comfy chairs. Service was great. The food just didn't do it for us. My bestfriend said her oysters were good but the crackers had more seasoning than anything else we ordered. The muscles were lacking flavor. Chicken skewers were okay but the sauce didn't seem to compliment them. Requested bbq sauce for sliders. The best thing I had was my Caesar salad.

Decided to come dine here for HRW, was one of the best decisions ever. New date spot! Came in to celebrate anniversary while finally getting to try this spot we recently discovered. From the moment we walked in, to the time we left, everything went smoothly. Service was above and beyond. We had the pleasure to be served by Ian. He was very professional, yet personable. Came to check in at the appropriate times, food came out with an even flow, drinks were never empty. Provided great recommendations. Looking forward to trying out other items from the menu in the future. Reservations through open table was convenient. read more

Our experience was disappointing due to the way we were approached by the manager. We had simply moved a table in bar area and instead of politely explaining the situation, the manager came over and told us we couldn't because the table cost $5,000. While we completely understand wanting to protect expensive furniture, the tone and delivery came across as rude and made our entire table feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. On the other hand, I want to recognize our waiter, who was excellent throughout the meal. Raymond was attentive, friendly, and did his best to make us feel comfortable again after the interaction with the manager. His professionalism and kindness were the highlight of our visit. Unfortunately, the food also fell short of expectations. In particular, I would not recommend the mussels. The flavor was unpleasant and left a very bad aftertaste, making them one of the least enjoyable dishes we ordered. Good customer service isn't just about enforcing rules--it's about how those rules are communicated. Unfortunately, the manager's approach, combined with the disappointing food, overshadowed what could have been an enjoyable dining experience. read more

What a great dining experience! This was my first time here. I was heading into heavy rush-hour traffic, so I decided to avoid it and stop to have a good meal before heading home. This restaurant definitely aims to please. I was being very specific about what I wanted for my ribeye steak tonight; waitress Jessie was awesome and listened carefully to my requests. And then to make sure that I was absolutely happy, she brought Chef Kenneth to the table to discuss what I was looking for. Kenneth returned from the kitchen with three beautiful-looking ribeye steaks and we discussed which one would give me the best dining experience. He does some of the butchering himself so he knew exactly what I was looking for. I ended up being served the most fabulous Wagyu steak I've had in a very long time. Unlike the other steaks that can have a seasoning on them, the Wagyu is just salt and pepper and then is served with a beautiful compound butter slathered all over it. They make that butter in-house and it has wine and shallots and bone marrow and other wonderful stuff. Trust me, it's amazing! I ordered extra on the side and poured that all over the top of the steak. Delicious!! Sometimes little things count and it was served with grilled onion that was tasty. I could have had a side of mashed potatoes or asparagus, but I decided to treat myself and try the mac-n-cheese instead. Half of that food was my lunch the next day, so I left enough room for dessert, where my choice was the apple pie bread pudding with cinnamon roll ice cream. That was nice and moist and I enjoyed it. Overall, this was a really great dining experience and I'm so glad that bad traffic gave me the excuse to come here. Will definitely plan a return visit!! read more

If you're looking for a solid happy hour spot in Katy, Pearl & Vine is it. The happy hour here is consistently good: great drink specials, a nice selection, and the overall vibe makes it easy to unwind after a long day. Whether you're stopping by for a quick drink or settling in for a while, it just works. But what really makes this place stand out is the service, specifically Jared behind the bar. He's attentive, personable, and knows how to take care of his guests without overdoing it. You can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does, and it elevates the entire experience. Between the drinks, the atmosphere, and standout service, this has definitely become one of our go-to spots for happy hour. Highly recommend! read more
I was having my car serviced in the area so I decided to stop in. I got there a little before 4 PM and they didn't open until four so I had to come back at four. I sat at the bar and checked out their happy hour I got a vodka drink and I didn't eat since I've eaten earlier. It's a really nice upscale place and they have a really nice size patio with TVs. I plan on returning to eat at a later time too, they seem to have an extensive menu. read more

They have an amazing social hour menu too that I would love to try. My food was absolutely delicious and my waitress Kaitlin was second to none. Unfortunately, this restaurant did not meet expectations, especially given the high price point. Overall, it felt overpriced for the quality of food and experience delivered. Some of the simpler items were enjoyable--such as the pizza and French fries--but those were basic dishes and still felt expensive for what they were. The higher-end items were disappointing. The crab cakes, steak, and seafood tower did not live up to expectations. The steak was ordered medium-rare but arrived tough and lacked the tenderness expected from a prime cut; the texture felt closer to select-grade beef. Several seafood items were also overcooked and came out tough. The sides were underwhelming as well. The green beans were overcooked rather than properly blanched and sautéed with garlic. When asking the server for side recommendations, we were told about a cauliflower "side," only to later find out it was actually a full entrée. This felt misleading, and overall it seemed like the service was focused more on charging our party throughout the night rather than providing thoughtful recommendations. Given the experience, I do not plan to return. If I'm spending this level of money, I expect higher-quality food and better service. For celebrations or special occasions, I would much rather choose a more consistent franchise such as Mastro's or Del Frisco's read more
It's been over a year since I lasted dined at P&V and was please with the service. However, the food was just okay for the value in priced. When they first opened back in 2021 I felt the service and food was equally very good. I did try the short-rib pizza that was tasty but it lacked enough protein for the price; need more flavor to make it stand out. Our friends the snapper and steak but were prepared well...but not amazing delicious as it looked on the plate. I know the price to dine out is expensive so I take serious where I spend my money so doubt I'll patron them again. Final thoughts, good not great but nicely decorated restaurant for a group dinner in the area. Happy Hour I'm sure is the better value in my opinion. But give it a try for yourselves. read more

The food was really great. Our service not so much. Finally had to ask another waiter to find our waiter to handle the check. Our reservation was at 6:30, didn't get our food until 7:50 and not checked out until 8:30.... In the beginning the manager came and checked on us and was very nice. Excellent experience, ambience beautiful, food amazing! Service impeccable! Kaitlin Hey was my waitress and she made my family & I feel right at home. To add, it was my Actual birthday & she knew it with out having to mention it. Gave us a full menu run down & recommend her top picks which I loved. Not a big alcohol drinker & she immediately recommended a few Mocktails. She even brought out my birthday cake lit with candles, placed it carefully in front of me wished me a happy birthday & walked away without missing a beat. We will most definitely come back!! & I can't wait read more

Scrolling through photos and located pics from my 2023 visit. Valet and large parking lot. Friendly staff greet you at the entrance hostess stand, Open Table reservations, immediately seated in large busy dining room with romantic ambiance. Our waiter arrived for our drink order and entree recommendations. Grilled bacon wrapped quail 4/5 , beet salad 5/5, blackened gulf redfish 4/5, Campechana 2/5, and Brussels sprouts 2/5. read more

Ambiance is upbeat. Had a live guitar player in bar area on a Th night. We had drinks in the bar area before dinner. Bar is a decent size area. Complentary yeast rolls were good. I felt like they had been sitting just a little bit but they were still good. Calamari - cooked just right Octopus - really good. Smoky bbq chargrilled flavor. People at the table who don't like octopus or never tried it liked it! Beet salad- very fresh & crisp. The beets came with blueberries, pecans & goat cheese. It all worked together. Again, folks in my party who don't like beets tried lt & surprisingly liked it. Scallops - cooked perfectly. The orange jalapeño jam adds a sweet, spiciness to each scallop that's quite unique. We had a party of 9 and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food. Not 1 complaint! Also service was good. The server was very attentive to our large party. I cannot believe this place has been in my Katy neighborhood & it didn't make my radar. I will definitely return here when I'm looking for an elevated dining experience without going into the city of Houston. read more
Pearl and Vine offers a great dining experience for couples or large parties. The size and decorations of the restaurant grabs your attention as soon as you walk through the door. The host was very friendly and helpful finding bar space for a group of eight. We arrived 30 minutes before the reservation for drinks before dinner and it wasn't a problem. The food is great the Calamari was perfectly flashed fried with incredible flavor. The sauce didn't add much and wasn't necessary. I highly recommend the Octopus which will likely be the best starter on the menu. The ribeye steak was one of the best non wagyu steaks I've had. I absolutely loved the steak seasoning and the temperature was just as I requested. Now that I've been introduced to this place, I will be a regular. No misses! Great experience. read more

Jessie was amazing, attentive, and full of knowledge about the menu and the restaurant history. The food was great (our first time here), and it was a bit of a drive, but worthy of a return visit. Upscale ambiance, but "business casual" is okay (no suit and tie required) Duck fat fries are an absolute must have. The redfish was done to perfection, and the bacon greens were rich and full of savory flavor. read more

We sat on the porch where the music was a reasonable volume and it was not too noisy.
Is there live music? If so, on what days?
They have live music Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights from 7-10 pm usually. Unless the artists book a holiday gig.
Is it formal dress code or casual?
I think it's a little more than casual it's a very fancy and beautiful restaurant it deserves a dress to impress 😉
