The ambiance, the service, the food. Everything is top tier and I'm hard to please when it comes to food because I cook everything from scratch. The manager I can't remember his name it starts with a G. He was so friendly and welcoming I will definitely be back!

I have been recommended this restaurant more than once. So I decided to finally take the hint and made reservations to see what this place had to offer. When you walk in it very upscale and definitely a place that appears to have left no stone unturned when decorating. We were sat down immediately and then our server Lynne came over to greet us. Lynne asked was this my first time at the restaurant and then proceeded to make recommendations. I started with the Goat cheese shareable and Lynne even talked us into trying a glass of wine. The food was phenomenal and definitely cooked to order. I had every intention on trying one of the desserts that sounded delicious but I could t eat another bite. This was a wonderful decision and I'm only sad I didn't try it sooner. But I will be back and their ribeye is spot on.

I had an amazing evening at Pearl and Vine celebrating my friend's birthday. The ambiance of the restaurant was intimate with soft lighting. The private room reserved for our party was beautifully arranged and the wait staff were very attentive and accommodating. I ordered the texas gulf snapper with coconut jasmine rice and sautéed kale and garlic. It was absolutely delicious!! Very flavorful!! For dessert I chose the apple bread pudding with ice-cream. It was a bit much for one person in my opinion. After dinner, we took pictures outside in the back of the restaurant where there is a beautiful lawn in the background. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend checking them out!

I went to Pearl & Vine for social hour, which is every day from 4pm-7pm, which is nice. They have free parking and valet parking. The building, dining area, and bar area are all nice. We sat in the bar area and the service was a little slow but our waiter was friendly. We had a few p&v bar bites and were good. The oysters were big and fresh, and they give you real crackers. The chicken skewers were good but not enough to share. I enjoyed the short rib sliders the most, they were delicious! The flatbread was okay. They also had live music, which was nice. Overall, it was a good experience and I will be back.

this place has been on my must try list for months and I thought maybe I should give it a shot for restaurant week. I will definitely be back. They have an amazing social hour menu too that I would love to try. My food was absolutely delicious and my waitress Kaitlin was second to none. She definitely made my experience top-tier and I will be back to see her again. You must give it a try.

I absolutely loved the music selection and the live music they really added to the overall experience. The food was delicious and the ambiance was amazing. It's such a great spot to relax and enjoy time with friends, on a date, or even solo. The place was clean, the staff were friendly and welcoming. You may need a reservation depending on how busy it is but sitting at the bar or bar area is also a great option. The slider appetizer were especially nice! I'll definitely be back and recommend..

We stopped by just for drinks tonight around 9:30pm. Evan, their head bartender, is amazing every time we go in. He's a great mixologist & so personable. His drinks are always smooth and tastes Amazing. So tonight I challenged him with a Carajillo which, I noticed they added to the menu, and one of my favorite drinks. He did not disappoint. He's also a great conversation at closing time. It just feels so personal, but the drinks are so great.

Lovely, bright dining space. My in-laws took me here for my birthday. They have a brunch menu on Sundays. There were simply way too many items on their menu that sounded fantastic. We started off with the tuna and salmon poke. This is quite different from the usual pokes I've eaten in the past. It's a nicely plated stack of tuna and salmon on top of a seaweed salad and topped with bits of crunchy strips fried wontons. I enjoyed the grilled ahi tuna, perfectly grilled rare. The ponzu roasted brussel sprouts were amazing and the picked mushrooms added a zesty brightness to the dish. For dessert, we had the apple pie bread pudding, topped with a cinnamon roll ice cream. The bread pudding was a tall serving of deliciously soft and rich custardy goodness. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and were left feeling very satiated.

Fantastic! Every single thing. Came to celebrate our friends' anniversary and it couldn't have been better. Service was top notch and very personable. The food-all amazing. Our table had and loved: octopus, elote Caesar, crab cakes, short ribs, steak, greens, and churros. All so good!!! Highly recommend!

Very nice and welcoming with comfy chairs. Service was great. The food just didn't do it for us. My bestfriend said her oysters were good but the crackers had more seasoning than anything else we ordered. The muscles were lacking flavor. Chicken skewers were okay but the sauce didn't seem to compliment them. Requested bbq sauce for sliders. The best thing I had was my Caesar salad.

If you're looking for a solid happy hour spot in Katy, Pearl & Vine is it. The happy hour here is consistently good: great drink specials, a nice selection, and the overall vibe makes it easy to unwind after a long day. Whether you're stopping by for a quick drink or settling in for a while, it just works. But what really makes this place stand out is the service, specifically Jared behind the bar. He's attentive, personable, and knows how to take care of his guests without overdoing it. You can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does, and it elevates the entire experience. Between the drinks, the atmosphere, and standout service, this has definitely become one of our go-to spots for happy hour. Highly recommend!

This place is such a hidden Gem in Katy!! We always drive by but finally had a chance to come and celebrate 2 birthdays. They had live music on the weekend which was such a great touch, the outdoor area is so beautiful and indoors has plenty of space. It truly feels like you are in Fredericksburg or somewhere else. The food is okay, it can definitely be much better imo. You can tell some of it may not be made fresh. They also grat'ed our bill when there was only 4 adults and 1 3 year old child. Definitely do not agree with that at all but yeah.

I was having my car serviced in the area so I decided to stop in. I got there a little before 4 PM and they didn't open until four so I had to come back at four. I sat at the bar and checked out their happy hour I got a vodka drink and I didn't eat since I've eaten earlier. It's a really nice upscale place and they have a really nice size patio with TVs. I plan on returning to eat at a later time too, they seem to have an extensive menu.

Ask the Community - Pearl & Vine

Customers say the restaurant is noisy is that because of the music?

We sat on the porch where the music was a reasonable volume and it was not too noisy.

Is there live music? If so, on what days?

They have live music Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights from 7-10 pm usually. Unless the artists book a holiday gig.

Is it formal dress code or casual?

I think it's a little more than casual it's a very fancy and beautiful restaurant it deserves a dress to impress 😉

Genuinely a great option. Service above par. Food was delicious…read more The bread was so soft and paired with a chimichurri and a pecan butter. The chimichurri had a kick to it from time to time, but I still ate it because it was really good with the slight sourness I like! The guacamole chicharron was so crispy and flavorful! I would come back just for that. We also ordered from the restaurant week menu. I got the Flora di Zucca which is zucchini blossoms. I genuinely thought it would be pieces of zucchini cut into shapes of flowers, but it was the actual flower! It was yummy! When I seemed confused, they let me try their regular zucchini too! I got the soup of the day which was a creamy mushroom soup and upgraded the sirloin to the filet. Both were worth getting. The filet was a little more cooked than I liked, but still pink in the middle, seasoned well, and tender. Their mashed potatoes honestly might be the best I've ever had at a restaurant. They gave me a sauce to go with the meal that they couldn't exactly describe. I can't exactly describe either. It was good though. I feel like it was similar to stroganoff gravy, savory and sour and a hint of something else. I upgraded one of the sides to the strawberry mozzarella salad, but I did not care for the vinaigrette that came with it. The pistachio cake was not what I was expecting. It was ok, but didn't really taste like pistachio aside from the pistachio crumble on top and was slightly dry. For just the chicharron and the mashed potatoes, I'd come here again. But pretty much everything we ate was solid and worth trying.

Another pleasant surprise in what I'm going to arbitrarily designate as a brunch fusion menu…read more Firstly, it's a very nice layout. Tables are well spaced plenty of room eight crisp environment really just a very comfortable ambience. The services superlative from the moment you walk in in which you are immediately accommodated to the server who takes an order and then the servers who serve the food which is not necessarily one in the same. It's simply a very efficient service system and very pleasant if you're a customer. You get warm food. In my case I had hollandaise with Salman underlying it, which was very good. The eggs were cooked perfectly the hollandaise not by any means obnoxious but a very deliberate Irving and a wonderful salad, which both underlines the egg and is served as a side with the eggs, which were perfectly poached. In so far as the buzz is concerned, there are wines and beer available and really quite an extensive menu in both. I enjoyed a beer with mine, which I know it sounds like an odd combination, but it worked quite well for me. Really this is a wonderful addition to Katy options for breakfast or brunch.

They serve brunch on Saturday and Sunday until 330. The brunch menu is huge. It is not a super large menu, which I feel very endearing. We decided to try the bagel and lox with cream cheese, the Buzz burger with fries, and their homemade chips. They start off by bringing you this beautiful craft of bottled water. That to me was an amazing bonus. We also ordered two sodas which came in a can. I sort of wish it was a more of a fountain drink than one can of soda for the price. *Now service was super slow. However, the waitress did come and tell us that they are running a little behind and she apologized for it and she was super sweet, so that made up for the weight. How do I known how long it was going to take, I don't know if I would've stayed, but in the end, the food was amazing. The burger was cooked to perfection. My boyfriend is a hamburger snob and he kept saying how good it was how fresh it was and how perfectly cooked it was. They serve you shoestring fries that feel like they're double fried and they were phenomenal. My bagel was toasted perfectly and had a very good amount of cream cheese and lox. As a Jewish girl living in the area that I do, it's very hard to find good bagels with lox and cream cheese. I will most definitely be back for this sooner than later. The homemade chips took quite a while to come out, and at one point I was ready to say we don't need it, but these potato chips beat Buccees beaver chips, 100%. They were super fresh and very crunchy and tasted amazing. I will definitely recommend those to anybody that orders some. My boyfriend then ordered a tropical sunrise smoothie and it was so tasty and tasted like a strawberry banana smoothie. Now once again that did take a long time to come out and at one point, we were wishing we had not ordered it but once we did get it, it was really good and I highly recommend it. The restaurant is not very large and it's the perfect brunch spot for anybody looking for a smaller Cafe with very good choices.

I considered making a reservation online, but it required a credit card to be placed on file. We explained that we didn't and that we had planned to walk in because the website was showing plenty of availability. We were then told that they were no longer taking reservations and that they had no tables available. I was honestly surprised and disappointed, especially because the online reservation system was still showing multiple available times. If walk-ins were not being accepted or reservations were required, that should have been communicated clearly. It would have saved us the trip and the disappointment of arriving with our family only to be turned away. I completely understand that restaurants can have policies regarding reservations and capacity, but the conflicting information between what was available online and what we were told at the door was frustrating. We were genuinely excited to try Astor's Table because of Houston Restaurant Weeks, so unfortunately, this experience left a disappointing first impression.
