Came in without reservations and they accommodated to us in the bar seating area. Wasn't our first choice, however the service and experience was just the same as dining room. Staff was very attentive to our needs and the food was on par with other Perry Steakhouse standards. I would say, service here is better than other locations I've been too.

Hi Yelpers! I was in Katy, Texas a few weeks ago and it happened to be Restaurant week. So hubby and I chose to try out Perry's Steak house and Grill. So I made reservations on Open table and informed them it was my Wedding. Anniversary. When we got there the hostess was very pleasant and she walked us to a table. My husband didn't like the position of the table so they asked us to wait a bit which we were happy to. While sitting down the Manager engaged us in conversation and asked if it was our anniversary and he congratulated us. When the table was ready he asked us to walk with the hostess. When I tell you the table was worth the wait, it was worth the wait. The table was in a private room in a corner and there were roses on the table. We were then greeted by Gabrielle our server (I think that was his name). He was wonderful and extremely pleasant. It was restaurant week so we asked for the menu. For Starters we have the Cesar Salad and Lobster Bisque and it was just delicious. For the main course I went with the Salmon dish and hubby had the Pork dinner. The pork dinner was absolutely delicious and the salmon was nice too. I mean you can go wrong with salmon. For dessert we had the bread pudding topped with ice cream. It was also delicious and pudding was nice and warm. The restaurant is really big and was very full that evening however the service was on point and the food was never delayed. Over all it was a nice restaurant, delicious food and great customer service. I highly recommend Perry's

My husband and I came here for the Bar 79 Social Hour. The bar area is nice and dimmed with high top, bar top, and booth seating. The social hour menu includes 7 items in three sections for $9 (e.g., appetizers, specialty cocktails, and wine). We had the Perry's pork chop bites, which comes with 3 small skewers of 3 bites each. It was good but small. The Truffle Spinach Artichoke Dip was delicious! We also had the Seafood Stuffed Mushrooms, which were good but I wasn't a fan of the tomato based sauce. I think it would have been better with a creamy, cheese sauce. The Salted Caramel Espresso Martini was very sweet and my husband didn't like it but he loved the Godfather Returns. I had the Thyme Lemon Drop Martini and it was delicious. Overall, I enjoyed the social hour and will come back again, especially since it's available on Sunday.

Come for the steak, stay for the sides and lemon drops. Came here for my birthday and what an amazing experience from start to finish! We had reservations and were seated immediately. The restaurant is very dimly lit and romantic, very upscale. Our waiter, Jason, was wonderful. He brought out a birthday card that the staff had signed and left it on the table. We started off with the truffle spinach dip and a couple of cocktails to start. Then moved on to the steak and red wine. Of course we didn't stop there and also made sure to try the crème brûlée before we left, highly recommend. What a perfect way to spend my 36th birthday!

We went a birthday dinner. One friend asked about nuts in a desert and Hazel nut was not listed. It had Hazel nuts. It was not listed. She had to go to the Hospital because she had an allergic reaction. The waitress brought the checks. I spoke with manger and he seemed reluctant to not to charge her.

We came to celebrate an occasion with a friend. Making the reservation was simple and easy. We were sat fairly quickly and our drink order was placed very soon after sitting down. The steak tater tots were amazing. The steak was some of the most tender I've had. Crab cakes were also good with a hint of heat. This is where things got disappointing. My husband and I both ordered the pork chop because of how famous it is and my husband had had it previously and it was delicious. This time it was dry. The sides are $15 and definitely overpriced for the amount you get. I was honestly slightly disappointed with the food experience given how high the price point is. For a $300 dinner I felt like I left wanting a lot more. I probably won't be back unfortunately. I'll go to Flemings or taste of Texas next time.

decided to go here for Thanksgiving and let me tell you they didn't disappoint! The turkey was delicious and all the fixing were too. The service was stellar and the ambiance was great as everyone was in holiday spirit. Always love the pork chop but now add their turkey dinner with the fixings on Thanksgiving!!!

The hubs and I had a lovely date night here. They have a great wine selection and had a fun three sampler martini flight. My steak was cooked perfectly and it was tender. I got the filet three ways- coffee crusted, crap topped, and peppercorn. The sides could be better- the Brussels were so big. It would be nice if they could cut them smaller. The corn brûlée tasted burnt. The service was amazing. Ask for Blue- he was attentive, funny, and nice.

Made reservations to this location for a birthday celebration. Ambiance and service was alright, just standard but I do appreciate the manager consistently coming out after realizing someone in my party has a tree-nut allergy. Unlike other restaurants, the host didn't mentioned my notes (tree-nut allergy and birthday) to my server and just took us to our table. This was the first time I had to mention multiple of times even though I made notes of it on the reservation on Open Table - not saying I mind, especially regarding of the tree-nut allergy, but it shows the lack of communications and my server didn't seem too thrilled about hearing it from us. He did grab his manager. Pork chop Friday ($19) during lunch is amazing, served with mashed potatoes and a side of apple sauce. Pork chop was not dry, smoked with pecan wood for approximately 6 hours, and well flavored. Mashed potatoes was just meh. Steak pasta ($24) was disappointing but at least the steak was cooked correctly. Angel hair pasta was over cooked and lacked in tomato basil flavor, despite having a a basil on top. Lobster bisque ($17) a tad too salty, though, I appreciate real lobster meat chunks. Complimentary bread was surprisingly good that I finished all of it! Not to overhype it but the bread came out warm and stayed warm. It's simple yet good, goes well with the lobster bisque. Plenty of parking but you may find it hard in the area during Friday lunch time as many people and businesses come here to try their pork chop at Friday lunch special price. It's usually not crazy busy here, with the exception of Friday lunch so be sure to make reservations during peak time or you will be waiting. Prices overall is okay for this type of restaurant. Unfortunately, with many other restaurants in the Cinco Ranch area, I don't see myself coming back.

Cannot complain about their Friday pork chop! It's a phenomenal deal! The $19 price tag for a meal that easily can last 2-3 meals is flabbergasting. Even as a to-go option, the food was still impeccable. As for sides, I'm a big fan of the Brussels sprouts and creamed spinach. Perhaps, once I can will myself to spend a bit more, I'll try the other options! Cheers!

Perry's Pork Chop Friday Lunch Special with Sweet Sriracha Brussels Sprouts and Perry 's Signature Fried Asparagus
Serena S.

I took my mom to try their famous Friday pork chop lunch for the first time, and she loved it! The restaurant was dimly lit, buzzing with people, and (I was shocked because it was the middle of the work day??). More than the food, the service was exceptional. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and high-energy. The pork chop came with creamy mashed potatoes, a mildly sweet apple sauce, and fresh bread and butter (which we ate in its entirety). We ordered a side of the fried asparagus with crab and it was perfectly crunchy, golden, and buttery- a good excuse to have vegetables . For dessert, we ordered the chocolate crunch tower- basically, cubes of rich chocolate ganache. You MUST get it.

This restaurant definitely aims to please. I was being very specific about what I wanted for my ribeye steak tonight; waitress Jessie was awesome and listened carefully to my requests. And then to make sure that I was absolutely happy, she brought Chef Kenneth to the table to discuss what I was looking for. Kenneth returned from the kitchen with three beautiful-looking ribeye steaks and we discussed which one would give me the best dining experience. He does some of the butchering himself so he knew exactly what I was looking for. I ended up being served the most fabulous Wagyu steak I've had in a very long time. Unlike the other steaks that can have a seasoning on them, the Wagyu is just salt and pepper and then is served with a beautiful compound butter slathered all over it. They make that butter in-house and it has wine and shallots and bone marrow and other wonderful stuff. Trust me, it's amazing! I ordered extra on the side and poured that all over the top of the steak. Delicious!! Sometimes little things count and it was served with grilled onion that was tasty. I could have had a side of mashed potatoes or asparagus, but I decided to treat myself and try the mac-n-cheese instead. Half of that food was my lunch the next day, so I left enough room for dessert, where my choice was the apple pie bread pudding with cinnamon roll ice cream. That was nice and moist and I enjoyed it. Overall, this was a really great dining experience and I'm so glad that bad traffic gave me the excuse to come here. Will definitely plan a return visit!!

I had been watching this one being built for a while and was especially curious to try it since this location has a full bar, which adds a really fun twist to the traditional coffee shop concept. I stopped in for lunch and decided to sit out on the patio which ended up being the perfect choice. The atmosphere was relaxed, bright, and inviting with a nice open feel that makes it easy to slow down and actually enjoy your meal. The staff was friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in and everything moved quickly and smoothly. I ordered the guava mimosa and it was SO good. Light, refreshing, and honestly the perfect daytime drink. For food I had the chicken avocado wrap and substituted the chips for truffle fries and both were SOOOOO good. The wrap was fresh, warm, and packed with flavor and the truffle fries were absolutely worth the upgrade. I love that this location keeps the cozy Buzz and Bites feel while also leaning into a slightly more elevated vibe with the bar and patio seating. But wait, there's more....... The exterior could definitely use some work. Host stand plopped outside. Inside felt a little crowded. Wine cellar-ish. Mother's Day, a bit chaotic for all restaurants. Took 10-15 minutes to be greeted after being sat. No big deal, I get it. Santiago was great. We did the mystery mimosa experience which was fun! We go to order our food and BOOM!! This is where they get you. It was all a lie. A very deceiving menu written in a way where you think you're going to get oxtails and jollof rice plus appetizer and dessert for $55 per person. Because that's a great price, not really a deal, just a great price. WRONG. Santiago had to clarify that it was $55 EXTRA ON TOP OF $42 PER PERSON. SO $97 PER PERSON FOR OXTAILS AND JOLLOF RICE, AN APP & DESSERT. RIDICULOUS! TOTALLY DISHONEST AND DECEIVING. Write it as $55 additional per person, so everyone knows what they're getting into before they reserve their table. Because Santiago admitted everyone he served that day was shocked at the additional cost. Not wanting to ruin my wife's FIRST Mother's Day, I brushed it off and still continued with the order. Appetizer: tequeño & empanada. Bland, came out cold and after our entrees came out. Entrees: Oxtail & Jollof rice. I loved it. Flavor was great. Just wish there was a lot more. For $97, you expect to have 6-8 large oxtails and a side of rice. What i got was 4 very tiny oxtails and a full plate of rice!! Peri peri chicken & jollof rice- flavor was nice and smoky. But again, for $97, you expect more than 2 avg size leg quarters and a full plate of rice. Dessert: They were out of key lime pie by noon. I saw the cheesecake, it was a thin plain slice, so we opted for their seis leches cake. It was not good. It was not soaked enough, very dry. The reason the score wasn't lower was because service was great, the entrees tasted great and they gave each mother a single rose and Mother's Day card which had a pin in it that said best mom ever. Which made my wife's day even that much better. Thank you Chef Casey. But I don't think I would visit again solely based on the deceiving menu and small portions that are not worth the additional cost.
