My husband and I pass his establishment many times, so I decided for us to go and have a lunch date there which I think was a great decision because of the service, the food, and the price. We pretty much walked in around noon, was sat immediately and had the pleasure of being service by a young gentleman and his trainee. We decided to order the lunch special, which was a three course meal for $22.95. I chose the lobster base along with my husband, and then our second course was Korean wings and pretty much a fancy way to say three shrimps and butter. All items were delicious. Then I ended up choosing the pasta and he end up choosing the steak with the side of mashed potatoes. Service was good and they brought out this wonderful bread with his pecan butter and OMG it was so good. Didn't get to enjoy a drink, but all in all I am definitely coming back here possibly bringing some extra guest what's up? with me to enjoy this wonderful establishment. Update my husband said the asparagus was not good, and the bacon wasn't cooked. He did NOT like one bit. Then he said the loaded Mash was average, didn't like the sour cream spread. Which takes it down to 3 stars.

Red Flame was our Sunday adventure this week. I made reservations for 2:15 and arrived around 2:10. The restaurant was not busy and we were seated promptly. I am a restaurant professional and have been the majority of my adult years. I say that to point out a very restaurant noticeable issue. I noticed a smell of bleach in the store which would have not been a major issue, but it wreaked of using a dirty mop in bleach water. Now to most that may not be noticeable, but it was to me. As a suggestion rinse the mop with clean water before each use that will correct the smell. Our server Jacob greeted us promptly with a professional attitude and a smile. We were served warmed rolls with oil and butter. They were awesome!! He offered use drinks and promptly grabbed them. The menus are very extensive but easily readable. We decided on two appetizers. Oyster Nachos, and Stuffed Jalapeño's. Both were presented and served well. We loved them. We also ordered salads. My wife had the house salad with balsamic, and I had the Caesar salad. They both were very good. For our entrees I ordered a ribeye steak medium rare, with mashed potatoes and sautéed mushrooms. My steak was cooked spot on and stayed hot throughout the dinner. The last slice still had smoke coming from it. My mashed potatoes and mushrooms were great. My wife ordered the sea bass. She loved it, with the asparagus. The presentation of both meals was awesome. My wife went to the restroom and she said it was very clean and well stocked. I think the landscaping in the front of the restaurant needs to be updated. The floor was a little sticky, but seemed to be clean. The decor is simple and not over the top. If you want good food, at a fair price give Red Flame in Magnolia a try.

We selected red flame for our 25th anniversary dinner. This was a great experience the service was fantastic and all of the steaks were prepared properly. The only recommendation. Develop a non-alcoholic drink menu.

This restaurant is in a strip center, but don't let that stop you from making a visit. As soon as we walked in the service was great. We went for lunch and chose the three course lunch special. The food came out at the perfect temperature. The sweet potato fries were made with real fries and tasted so good. I loved their chimichurri sauce and the bread they brought out was so soft and good. This place is great for lunch, a date night, or just for some good food.

Appetizers. The salmon bagel bite, and beef skewer.

I attended this restaurant doing the Houston food weeks. We came at about 2:30 PM. There was not a lot of people there so we sat down quickly and the food arrived timely. We came for the lunch menu but due to it being on a Saturday we had to have brunch. The brunch menu was decent. I got the French toast with steak eggs and potatoes. The restaurant was decorated nicely and the bathrooms were clean. I would come back to this place for their all day Sunday happy hour and Thursday steak night.

Red Flame Steak House ROCKS! One of the best meals I have ever eaten! We did the 4 course Houston Food Bank selections and were highly impressed! Waiter Danny and Manager Joel were wonderful. Main course were the 3-4 oz Tournedos Kwal were decorated with Goat Cheese and Spinach. Unbelievable flavor and freshness. Cooked medium perfectly by the expert Gerardo. Not on the menu but well worth asking for! Second course was their Pork Bellies. Thick chargrilled bacon marinated and seasoned! Bloody amazing! I must give Red Flame 5+ stars for a magnificent and affordable evening of Fine Dining. North on 99, exit Morton Ranch. Tricky to find but it is well worth it!

Came here during the holidays with my husband for dinner. The service was great. The "chimichurri" they served with the bread was awful. It tasted like vinegar. The bread however was very good. We had the shrimp appetizer, recommended by the server which was amazing. We both ordered the ribeye which was cooked perfectly and delicious, served with the lump crab and crawfish sauce. The only complaint I have here is the green beans were barely cooked. Still extremely crunchy. I don't think I'd even say this was Al dente. Overall, I would come back. Great steaks!

This restaurant definitely aims to please. I was being very specific about what I wanted for my ribeye steak tonight; waitress Jessie was awesome and listened carefully to my requests. And then to make sure that I was absolutely happy, she brought Chef Kenneth to the table to discuss what I was looking for. Kenneth returned from the kitchen with three beautiful-looking ribeye steaks and we discussed which one would give me the best dining experience. He does some of the butchering himself so he knew exactly what I was looking for. I ended up being served the most fabulous Wagyu steak I've had in a very long time. Unlike the other steaks that can have a seasoning on them, the Wagyu is just salt and pepper and then is served with a beautiful compound butter slathered all over it. They make that butter in-house and it has wine and shallots and bone marrow and other wonderful stuff. Trust me, it's amazing! I ordered extra on the side and poured that all over the top of the steak. Delicious!! Sometimes little things count and it was served with grilled onion that was tasty. I could have had a side of mashed potatoes or asparagus, but I decided to treat myself and try the mac-n-cheese instead. Half of that food was my lunch the next day, so I left enough room for dessert, where my choice was the apple pie bread pudding with cinnamon roll ice cream. That was nice and moist and I enjoyed it. Overall, this was a really great dining experience and I'm so glad that bad traffic gave me the excuse to come here. Will definitely plan a return visit!!

I had been watching this one being built for a while and was especially curious to try it since this location has a full bar, which adds a really fun twist to the traditional coffee shop concept. I stopped in for lunch and decided to sit out on the patio which ended up being the perfect choice. The atmosphere was relaxed, bright, and inviting with a nice open feel that makes it easy to slow down and actually enjoy your meal. The staff was friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in and everything moved quickly and smoothly. I ordered the guava mimosa and it was SO good. Light, refreshing, and honestly the perfect daytime drink. For food I had the chicken avocado wrap and substituted the chips for truffle fries and both were SOOOOO good. The wrap was fresh, warm, and packed with flavor and the truffle fries were absolutely worth the upgrade. I love that this location keeps the cozy Buzz and Bites feel while also leaning into a slightly more elevated vibe with the bar and patio seating. Between the atmosphere, the friendly staff, and the great food and drinks, I can already tell this will become a regular lunch spot now that it is so close to our office.

Unfortunately, the service was extremely slow. We sat for about 15-20 minutes before even getting water, and we had to ask for basic things like a fork and napkins (which we ended up grabbing ourselves). The biggest disappointment was the food timing: everyone at my table received their meals, and mine didn't come out until about 20 minutes later. By then, I didn't even want it anymore and just picked off someone else's plate. What I did try from my friend's dish was decent, but the overall experience definitely wasn't a highlight. There were a lot of staff members standing around, so it was confusing why everything took so long. Not somewhere I'd rush back to, but hopefully they improve the service and timing because the atmosphere had potential.

But wait, there's more....... The exterior could definitely use some work. Host stand plopped outside. Inside felt a little crowded. Wine cellar-ish. Mother's Day, a bit chaotic for all restaurants. Took 10-15 minutes to be greeted after being sat. No big deal, I get it. Santiago was great. We did the mystery mimosa experience which was fun! We go to order our food and BOOM!! This is where they get you. It was all a lie. A very deceiving menu written in a way where you think you're going to get oxtails and jollof rice plus appetizer and dessert for $55 per person. Because that's a great price, not really a deal, just a great price. WRONG. Santiago had to clarify that it was $55 EXTRA ON TOP OF $42 PER PERSON. SO $97 PER PERSON FOR OXTAILS AND JOLLOF RICE, AN APP & DESSERT. RIDICULOUS! TOTALLY DISHONEST AND DECEIVING. Write it as $55 additional per person, so everyone knows what they're getting into before they reserve their table. Because Santiago admitted everyone he served that day was shocked at the additional cost. Not wanting to ruin my wife's FIRST Mother's Day, I brushed it off and still continued with the order. Appetizer: tequeño & empanada. Bland, came out cold and after our entrees came out. Entrees: Oxtail & Jollof rice. I loved it. Flavor was great. Just wish there was a lot more. For $97, you expect to have 6-8 large oxtails and a side of rice. What i got was 4 very tiny oxtails and a full plate of rice!! Peri peri chicken & jollof rice- flavor was nice and smoky. But again, for $97, you expect more than 2 avg size leg quarters and a full plate of rice. Dessert: They were out of key lime pie by noon. I saw the cheesecake, it was a thin plain slice, so we opted for their seis leches cake. It was not good. It was not soaked enough, very dry. The reason the score wasn't lower was because service was great, the entrees tasted great and they gave each mother a single rose and Mother's Day card which had a pin in it that said best mom ever. Which made my wife's day even that much better. Thank you Chef Casey. But I don't think I would visit again solely based on the deceiving menu and small portions that are not worth the additional cost.

I understand that mistakes can happen, but when a business confirms they have a lost item and promises to hold it, there should be accountability.
