Stylish, tasty, good time... Service and atmosphere: Shout out to all staff members for being welcoming, helpful, friendly, and very attentive at all times. Thank you Ignacio for taking good care of us during our first visit here. The restaurant is organised, clean, and well decorated. It's a good spot for family gatherings. Food and drinks: Menus exceed in both areas. We chose option with meets that didn't include pork. All meats were very tender, cooked medium or medium rare, and were seasoned very nicely. The salad bar had great selection of side dishes. The dessert was simply delicious. You won't be disappointed when it comes to selection of various alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages. Pricing: $$/$ super well worth it! You have to try this restaurant. P.S. will add pictures of meats next time haha.

Came here because supposedly they offer halal meat so we decided to dine here for a friend's birthday dinner and they're okay with me bringing a birthday cake and birthday candles. I made reservations for 6 on a Friday night and there were only a few customers at that time. Plenty of parking. Nice ambience, casual business wear. Unfortunately, they don't start bringing out the meat till they get busier after 7 pm. Majority of the meat tasted cold. And unfortunately, one of my friends went home that night and vomit around 3 AM. Buffet bar is quite nice with quite a good selections of plantain, salad pasta, fries, mashed potatoes, assortment of cheese and smoked salmon. Again, be wise on what you select as some has been sitting out for awhile. Complimentary cheesecake for birthday celebration but I prefer the birthday cake that I got from Paris Baguette and got my own candles. You have two options for meat selections but we did the less amount of like $35/$39 for each person with unlimited time to the buffet stations. Would I come again? It's not bad but I would come at a much busier time. Compare to their Montrose location, it's just easier for me to get to since it's in Katy. I would have gave it more stars for the selections and ambiance, however, food temperature matters.

We have been frequent visitors of the Montrose location for quite a while. It came to a point where they recognized us. But we took it off rotation for a little bit--obviously they have great food and great service, which is why we kept going to it, but we wanted to try new restaurants, as we are lucky in Houston to have so many options. We came to the Katy location because I saw on social media that it was a new and halal location. I will have to say the number one thing that I like is how large it is. Yes, the Montrose location has more of a date feel, because of how intimate the setting feels, but I like this one because I would actually be able to come with my family for celebrations, since there is ample seating. The location used to be a pizza place, which is why there are pizza and flowers all over the walls in the bathroom, but I actually like the décor and I think it looks nice and classy. The service was great from the time we went in. He wasn't our only server, there is a dance among them to bring different and fresh meats to the table, but Joel, helped us with making sure we had everything that we needed and made the birthday dessert himself that he brought out to us. I think with someone like him overlooking the restaurant's quality, it will continue to do well. The service was great, the salad bar had great salads, like the mozerella ball and crab salad, and they had my number one thing I need at any Brazilian steakhouse--chimmichurri. The meats were done well, perfectly seasoned and tasted fresh. The shrimp was good as well. A great halal restaurant-- I would definitely come here again.

@mytourao is one of my favorite spots for #halal Brazilian steakhouse. This time, I went to the new location in Katy. they have a wide variety of meats. Some of my favorites were the Bottom Sirloin, Garlic Beef, Filet Mignon, Spicy Picanha, Wings, and Shrimp, just to name a few. Everything was just perfectly cooked, tender, and juicy with a lot of flavor. And for the Salad Bar, it also has a lot of options, including cured meats (not halal), fruits, veggies, cheeses, and multiple sides and sauces. overall, it is a great experience it is a little pricey, so make sure you're hungry when you go to get your money's worth, lol

We initially planned to go to Fogo De Chao since they opened a location in Katy. However, they were closed for lunch for a private event. My husband still wanted to get his meats in so we came across this spot on yelp. Turns out it is the Old Chicago pizza location. This was our first time to this restaurant so we didn't know what to expect regarding the meats and the sides. The meats were all tender and surprisingly seasoned well, not salty or overly seasoned. However, the sides were not as good as Fogo or Chama Guacha as most of the side dishes were chilled by the way. Because of the side dishes which we were not super impressed with, I would have given this place 4 stars, however, we had a great dining experience with our server Joel. He was very friendly and super attentive. My husband even received a complimentary birthday cheesecake which was not too sweet and how we prefer our desserts! Oh also, the ambience was nice with relaxing and soothing music that was not too loud. We will definitely be back.

It's not a large restaurant, especially compared to some of the other Brazilian steakhouses. The service was good. Overall, we had a good meal. The common theme is that compared to other Brazilian steakhouses, the selection at the salad bar as well as the meat selection is a bit more limited. That said, I enjoyed everything I chose from the salad bar. Regarding the meat selection, there were a couple that stood out: the picanha and the rib-eye were both very good. Everything else was so-so (the filet mignon in particular was pretty tough for that cut of meat). That said, I would rather go to a restaurant that does a couple of things well vs. everything just okay. One thing to note. I don't know how they do it, but the price is significantly lower that their competition (like ~30-35% lower). When you factor that in, this restaurant is quite reasonable for what they offer.

I really liked the peppercorn on the lamb chops and top sirloin. The amount of fat to meat was perfect for me. I really enjoyed the salad bad too. Eggplant, beets, pineapple; all delicious. Honestly, next time I would just get the lamb and the salad bar. Make sure to get small cuts of meat because there's been times when I asked for medium, but they will give me rare instead. So if they give you a cut you don't like, you can avoid food waste. I wish they gave us a list of what drinks that we could have. They had lemonade mixed with other fruits, but not Brazilian lemonade that was made with the rind. I don't think my coworkers knew there were an options besides basic soda and sparkling water. However, the sides is what really picked up the rating for this place because the salad bar AND the sides they put on the table like the mashed potatoes and the cheesy bread and the banana coated in sugar were amazing. There was a live guitarist/singer playing which was a fantastic vibe. A complimentary basket of four pieces of cheese bread was brought out, excellent way to start the meal! For two people, we ordered: 2x Coxinha (3.5/5): While the chicken is a tad dry, it's complimented well by the creamy sauce 1x Kibe (3/5): Reminded me of a meatball crossed with a falafel, like something you'd order on a skewer. Not too grainy and a nice smoky flavor. 1x Risole de Camarao (4.5/5): I thought this was a better version of the Coxinha. The shrimp flavor really permeates and reminds you of a shrimp risotto in a single bite. Churrasco Gaucho (16oz) (2/5): We decided to get this to sample all of the meats. Unfortunately I thought everything was really salty. Maybe it's characteristic of the Brazilian grilling style, because the smoky flavors did come through, but it just felt too salty for me on everything. Honestly maybe it just needed some kind of vegetable besides beans to help offset. Whatever their chili sauce is (5/5): I have no idea what this is but it reminds me of mashed up bird eye chili sauce..it's really good. Sprinkle it on everything. Helps with the saltiness of things. Milk Flan (4/5): A rich custard style of flan, thick and very sharable. Not too sweet. I liked this as a great palate cleanser. Service was really prompt and friendly.
