Pleasantly surprised at how good Loaded Kitchen was! If a Mexican restaurant and an Ihop were to have a baby, this would be it. It's your typical cheap American diner food with additions of Mexican classics. Ordered a chicken fried steak with sunny side eggs, and a biscuit instead of hash browns. My little brother ordered the chorizo and eggs with tortillas. The rice that came with it was sooooooo flavorful and delicious. The best part is definitely the hot sauces that they have, I've never seen that brand anywhere and the orange habanero one was my favorite, really spicy! Hostess wasn't that great, but our waitress was excellent! She was super nice, chatted with us, gave good recommendations, and was on top of it. I love this spot. My hubby followed them on Instagram and one day we decided to try it out. To my surprise , we were both amazed on how good the food is here. We had the French toast and the county fried steak and it was incredible. Since our first time , we have been back many times and totally recommend . I will give the first star for the color on the roof and the shape of the building. The only reason decided to check out this restaurant was cause' it looked warm and inviting from the outside. That's because Loaded Cafe IS nice, in a polite kind of way, and welcoming. 2. Second star is for the staff, dishwasher, and chefs. I was staying at the Motel 6 next door and walked over for breakfast. This restaurant used to be an IHOP and still has the feeling of an IHOP inside. As a matter of fact, the coffee mugs, coffee carafe, and pancake syrup holders look like they're from IHOP. We were seated within 30 seconds of walking in on a Sunday afternoon. So I stoped into this place to pass the time while my friend was in a meeting. I really didn't expect much from it. But, to my surprise the food was absolutely delicious. I was seated immediately by a very friendly hostess and given a menu. My eyes caught the attention of the crapes. I love crapes. There was so many offerings of my favorites, but I went with the Stuffed chicken crapes. The service was fast and the crape was huge. I devoured it and washed it down with a delicious cup of coffee. I ordered the steak and eggs which came with hash browns and pancakes. I really wanted a Nutella banana crepe so I asked to substitute the pancakes for the crepe and it was 3.59 extra which isn't too bad! My BF and I shared it and it was so so good. As for the steak, it was juicy and so flavorful. It had grilled onions and mushrooms in it, so good too. My boyfriend got a coffee and ordered the machaca, I guess it's a Mexican dish, he's Mexican lol. But it came with green pepper onions and shredded beef with eggs. I didn't try it but he liked his dish. It also came with 3 flour tortillas, you have the option to get corn as well. It's a huge dish, my BF is a big guy and he ate it all and was full. Came here because we wanted to support a small business instead of going to like Denny's or ihop but man was I disappointed. Ordered 2 country fried steak breakfast plates to go she stated "30 minutes we are really busy" okay no worries , food wasn't ready it took an hour! They had no system at the counter didn't care about the line of people waiting to get their food they just wanted to collect the money. Then we seen the food came out to over 33$ we thought the plates were $10.99 from reviews from only 10 months ago but they apparently hiked up their prices to over $16 !! The country fried steak was good, not the best but it wasn't bad. I ordered the country potatoes which were either sliced too thin or over cooked because I had more crunchy potatoes then soft ones. My hubby had the Strawberry Banana pancakes he was not a fan only because they are more cakey than fluffy. I like cakey, thick pancakes he does not. The service was really good. I don't know how they got this rating, but maybe it's because it's a diner and people don't expect much. I have that same feeling with diners. If you go, you know what you're going to get. So I ordered nachos with grilled chicken. You would think they could do this well, but they didn't. My chicken was not hot, the cheese was sparse and not melted and they offered no real excuse as to the bad cooking job. How can you mess up nachos?!? I cook them at home all the time and mine are hot. Let's also mention that my guy ordered a steak torta 15 minutes after we ordered nachos and his order came before mine. I also saw other people who ordered large meals and who sat after we did get their food before my nachos arrived, not cooked completely. So the experience of eating together was ruined and definitely did not happen. The manager offered to have them cook something else, but if you can't do nachos correctly, why would I eat anything else there? Nope. As a plus, my guy said his torta was okay, but the waiter didn't ask him how he wanted his egg and it was runny. My guy does not like runny eggs, but he had to eat something so he did as I watched. This was a lunch fail due to a kitchen staff that can't do nachos and a waiter who did not know how to make things happen for his customers. So much for a different and fun experience, I guess you take hits when you try something new in a different area, but really...nachos?!? My food came out and they forgot about my crepe ended up just asking them to go since my son was done by the time they came out and was over it.
