Stayed at the motel 6 next door when we were in town for The Warped Tour. Solid breakfast/lunch place. Nice mix of Mexican food and Traditional American food, this place has a little something for everyone. I'm not 100% sure, but I think they also have a bakery that's tied into the company, so there are some good baked goods as well. I've never heard of this place before, but it appears to be a popular chain throughout orange county, so if you're not neat this one, check out their other locations. I visited Loaded Cafe for the first time after seeing it on TikTok, and my experience was okay. One of the highlights was the mini conchas they give you to enjoy before your meal, which was a delightful touch. Their menu offers a nice selection of dishes, including breakfast burritos, French toast, chilaquiles, and more. I tried their horchata latte, which was good and not too sweet. My son ordered the buffalo chicken strips, but they looked like they might have been microwaveable. I had their eggs, hash browns and bacon breakfast. It came with their churro French toast which was tasty, although the icing had a lemony flavor that was a bit unexpected. My wife had their breakfast burrito. It came with a sauce that tasted like Campbell's soup. It was not good. There was no wait time, and the food came out quickly, which was nice. Inside, there is seating but it feels a bit crowded. Parking is spacious, though I'm not sure what it's like on weekends. Our server was friendly and checked in on us regularly. Overall, it was an okay experience, but some aspects could have been better. read more

The food was actually good but the service sucked! There was one waiter per four tables. One party actually left as I sat down with my daughter. Instead of the waiter greeting me and asking me about beverages at a minimum. He cleans up the last party tables and preps it without even acknowledging me. Once he got around to taking my order, he never came back to the table after my food arrive. The piggy meal is what I ordered for my self and I ordered the kids French toast plate. It came out to $43.60 and I left $45 dollars on the table. I'm a great tipper but he must do better with customer service read more

Stopped by a sunday morning for some authentic mexican breakfast and the food was sooo amazing. They give you conchitas for appetizer with coffee which was so cute. Came here today, our waiter was great but man. She notified us they were short on product. Chicken fried steak no gravy. Burrito but no tortillas. So we decided to just leave. As we were leaving manager came and said they have gravy. Even though we didn't eat. We still tipped the waitress $20. To the manager. You guys are a restaurant how can u be short on supplies. Staff was friendly, seems like an okay diner-like place to sit down and eat, but I ordered a breakfast burrito and I have to say it had no taste. I had to drown it in salsa because it just lacked any kind of flavor. It's nice inside but it's in a spot on PCH where there are tons of cracked out people running around on the street and dirty sidewalks unfortunately. read more

We stumbled upon this place a couple years ago with a little help from yelp. This is the restaurant that made my hubby a chilaquiles convert. Normally we will have breakfast burritos, or pancakes, but he thought the chilaquiles looked good, so he took a chance. He was blown away by the asada chilaquiles plate. He said there was not one thing he would change, he said that it was perfection. The staff here are so friendly and welcoming. They will make sure you have everything you need...extra napkins, coffee refill, you ask for it, they will make sure you're covered. They go all out on the Christmas decorations. Very festive! I've been to multiple Loaded Cafes and this one takes the cake! I had the Nutella Banana shake and a classic breakfast, the shake reminds me of the liquados my mom would make me in the morning for school. It's so good!!! I finally got to try Loaded Cafe with my family and we really enjoyed the food. The complimentary conchas was a sweet surprise. The strawberry hibiscus was refreshing. The fries that come with the Chicken Sandwich were super crispy. If you have a sweet tooth I would recommend the Nutella Concha. Our favorite dish was the Menudo (not pictured). It was extremely flavorful and tasted just like a homemade dish. Our server was friendly and she kept checking in on us. The inside of the restaurant looks small but surprisingly fits a lot of people. As for the parking lot, it can get crowded but there is also street parking. read more

Hands down really great food! Found them instagram and I had to check them out. Really great authentic Mexican food with a little twist. This definitely a 5 star review only reason I gave it a 4 was for the service. Our server was Juan and I get it everyone has a bad day but he just wasn't feeling it I guess I had to call him over for our drinks after about a 10-15 min wait he constantly walked past us didn't check on us once and he had an attitude as if we were bothering him. But besides that everyone else in the place seemed like great people. Really great breakfast and shakes! This spot has amazing food. They are super consistent and there are so many options. The only downside is that the service is a bit slow and the food takes a while to come out. But I promise, it's worth it! Maybe don't go there if you're already starving or get something to start with. There is no alcohol, so don't expect mimosas and whatnot. Instead, they have a variety of coffee and agua Fresca type of drinks. There is never a long wait (I never had to wait at all) and there's plenty of seating. It's not located in the best area, but there's a good amount of people around to where you feel safe. read more

Drove all the way here from Lake Elsinore to see what the hype was about. My kids tried to order a shakes but were told they were out of concha's for the shakes, we said it was fine we'd just take the shakes. Waitress comes back to say there are no shakes, so they order lemonades then we're told there was no lemonade. So my son orders a water. We get our drinks, and my husbands coffee cup is covered in lipstick. Then my son decides he wants to order a smoothie and had to ask the waitress 3 different times for his drink. She finally comes back with no drink again and then offers my son the lemonade they stated they didn't have. She hands us a straw which is covered in pen ink. Our friend ordered a coffee flight and they bring out 3 mini cups of agua fresca. I get my burrito, and there's a hair. So I let the waitress know, and she stated it is just a hair from their cleaning towels. Which is worse. Very small portions for the price. $169 + tip for a diner for 5 people is way too expensive and the food is mediocre. read more

Another suprise came when the check hit the table and we had to inform the server we hadn't even received our entrees. It made sense though because even though we ordered around 720, it was now almost 9pm and they were closing. By the time the entrees came out (3 minutes before 9) the pace had been so slow we were just so annoyed we wanted to go home. We actually had to cancel the plans we had after dinner because it was getting too late. Honestly, the worst part was that there was no way they didn't know how long service was taking and there wasn't a single person that even said, "we're so sorry about the wait". We honestly understand things happen, but to completely pretend it's normal and not acknowledge that we had to keep asking about our food.... A couple things to know before you go: parking isn't great, and the restaurant gets busy. We showed up around 5:00 p.m. and only waited about 20 minutes, but I could see larger parties having a much longer wait. My go-to dish is the Pad Kra Prow Eggplant with chicken. It's a Thai basil stir-fry with eggplant, onion, and Thai chilis, and I absolutely love it. We also ordered the mussel curry, which my friend picked, and it completely surprised me. I wasn't expecting to enjoy it as much as I did, but it was excellent. The standout, though, was the Khao Soi Noodle Soup with sliced rib-eye beef. Somehow I'd never ordered the dish they're most famous for, and now I understand why. It absolutely lived up to the hype. The broth with the rib-eye was incredible and is something I'd recommend to anyone visiting for the first time. My biggest criticism is that the rice portions feel smaller than they used to. With how much delicious curry and sauce you get, I found myself wishing there was just a little more rice to soak everything up. I also noticed that the green beans in the Pad Kra Prow Eggplant are very al dente. Personally, I'd prefer if they were blanched just a bit so they were slightly more tender. If the goal is to add texture, I'd almost rather see crunch come from something like cashews instead--but that's just my preference. For dessert, we had the mango sticky rice and another dessert with sweet milk dumplings and red beans. Both were fantastic and a great way to end the meal. Vibes of the restaurant are great. It's a small venue, but they work quickly, and a staff was very welcoming. Overall, Chiang Rai continues to be my favorite Thai spot in Southern California. If it's your first visit, the Khao Soi with sliced rib-eye is absolutely the dish I'd tell you to order.

After hearing great things about Loaded Cafe's food and drinks, I decided to finally give it a try. We were seated right away, which was a good start. I ordered the iced coffee flight (which I was really looking forward to) and my mom got a regular hot coffee. It took a while for our server to come back and take our food order, which wasn't ideal. We ordered the chilaquiles verdes, chorizo and eggs, and a French toast to share. Unfortunately, the food was a bit underwhelming. The chilaquiles were disappointing--no cheese, no sour cream, just chips, salsa, and eggs, with a side of cold beans. The chorizo and eggs were the highlight of the meal--hard to mess that up. The French toast lacked flavor and was slightly undercooked. The biggest letdown was the service. Our server never checked on us after taking our order, and we had to flag down another server (who seemed annoyed) just to get assistance. No refills, no follow-up. I was a bit skeptical about this place taking some reviews here on yelp, I have paid two visits this passed week and removed my original one to better my whole thought on this place. Originally, my waitress was named Veronica. As for my first visit she made it fantastic and fulfilled all my needs. She's pretty generous and hilarious if you ask me. As for my second visit, I decided to switch up my order and try their waffles. I might be a little strange for being that type of person to visit multiple times but this location brings a homelike feeling. Today I was sat and served by Stephanie. I was interested in getting the supreme combo and I wasn't so sure if I wanted plain pancakes (taking I had waffles in mind). Soon enough ANOTHER great waitress available to make modifications to my order. She suggested to get my desired waffle for a bit extra. I am truck driver and frequently eat at different restaurants almost every day in last 5 days i have been in 10 restaurant in 5 different state i measure food with quality value, portion they serve the coffee was good the 4.99 breakfast was great 2 bacon, pancakes, hash brown, 2 eggs i had break fast the day before in Dennys restaurant and I-Hop the day before these two restaurants the bacon was so thin i could see through the bacon not this place the bacon was so thick i actually could chew on it hash brown was cooked very good brown and crunchy on both side fully cooked on inside without burning the hash brown. the pancake as fully cooked and egg was very good. While traveling from Michigan we stayed the night at the motel 6 . My wife and I had several options for dinner and we decided to try loaded cafe next door to our hotel. WOW!!! As soon as we walk in we was greeted by Leslie and Stephanie. They both we very cheerful and Stephanie seated us right away. The attention to the details of our order was unbelievable. Stephanie is a natural. FYI special notice pay attention to these two workers. They both made us feel from the moment we walked into the door that we had made the right choice. I recently visited this location and had a fantastic experience. the food was exceptional and the service was top-notch! The flavors were rich, and the portions were generous. Our server was attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. However, the one drawback was the surprising $4 credit card transaction fee added onto our bill. While I understand that businesses have expenses, it seems excessive considering banks charge much lower fees per transaction. I find this action very unreasonable. Just visited Loaded Cafe in Long Beach and had such a great experience! The food was delicious -- I ordered the Machuca torta and chilaquiles, and both were packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. The torta was loaded (pun intended) and super satisfying, and the chilaquiles had the perfect amount of crunch and sauce. Service was on point too -- the staff was friendly and made sure everything was taken care of without being overbearing. Definitely one of those spots where you leave full and happy. The food here is delicious! If you have a sweet tooth you will love this place. They are very generous with their servings. The service was good as well. My family and I were greeted immediately upon entering and were seated. The server, Stephanie was so sweet and kind. She made us feel welcomed which is very important to me. I'm not one to leave reviews but I was very impressed with this place. Everyone in my family got something different and we were all amazed by the quality of the food. This is the best place ever.The manager welcomed me and lead me to my table.My server was awesome.I ordered coffee and she made sure that my coffee didn't get empty.I ordered the wing basket.The buffalo wings was the was part.The habanero ketchup was the best ketchup I ever tried and it was kinda spicy.The place was clean and it was quiet.All I want to say is manager keep doing the best you can.I hope you guys stop by and eat here you won't regret it.I love Loaded Kitchen Cafe. read more

I really really really wanted to like this place. It's a cute cafe but.. after waiting an hour we were so disappointed. The food did not justify the high prices. The service was neglectful and never checked in on us. Come on.. breakfast is really hard to screw up on but they managed. Over hard eggs were just short of over easy.. the toast came out after 10 more minutes of waiting. We won't be giving lunch or dinner a try sorry. read more

So, stumbled upon this place and it was a total surprise package! The place had a relaxed diner vibe, and the staff and servers were very friendly. The food option was great- traditional Mexican and American. The whole experience was like hanging out with friends and family while munching on some seriously tasty grub. Today my husband took me here for breakfast and it was absolutely amazing. Since it was mothers day, it was really busy but we got seated really fast. Our waitress, Edith, was the best. She always kept checked up on us to make sure we had everything we needed. My husband and I both ordered french toast and it was delicious. I would definitely recommend this place. Decided to try Loaded Cafe today to avoid the typical busy restaurants on Mother's Day and was happy I did. Great service, short wait, and delicious food. Definitely try the crepes if you come here. Family ordered the chilaquiles and chorizo and eggs and they were very happy with their selections as well. Our waitress, Edith, was friendly and attentive which made the experience that much better. read more

I got an order of crunchy enchiladas and a Jamaica drink. The crunchy enchilada is not you traditional enchilada but most likely Chilaquiles. The Jamaica drink is a little bit too sweet for my taste. Beside those two observations the Conchitas calientes with coffee taste great. I'm giving it 5 starts because the food is more like home made and taste great. read more

I've been to Loaded Cafe a few times now, and it never disappoints. The food is delicious and the portion sizes are huge -- definitely worth the price. I ordered the steak and eggs and it's full of flavor. The staff was friendly and the service was fast even though the place was packed. This is definitely one of my go-to breakfast spots. This cafe hands down is the best place to eat while your stay in long beach! As soon as you walk in the door you get greeted not only by one staff member but all the staff. They are sooo welcoming. Plus the food is great!!! Our hotel is right next restaurant and we ate breakfast here during all whole stay! I highly recommend the load cafe to everyone!!! read more

This is the best place I ever been.This is also the best place in Long Beach. The service was outstanding and the place was super clean. The little piggy combo was bomb and also the caramel blintz I tried. The manager and my server kept on checking on us.
