Shirley and Jose were the kindest people and definitely deserve recognition! This place is a hidden gem within Long Beach! Parking may be difficult but it is definitely worth it. Besides the minor inconvenience of parking, they follow COVID regulations and have their guests wait under a tent conveniently located outside. In terms of food, I am a personal fan of their mozzarella sticks and crepes! If you have a larger appetite, you may need to order more than the crepes. First time visiting this location. My partner had the red chilaquiles and I had the green chilaquiles unfortunately the taste of both were not authentic and home like. Chilaquiles are really good but I stopped by today at 7 am and it was closed. There was a lady inside that would walk pass and just stare we were there till 7:30 am They supposedly open at 7 but no we waited for 30 min and nothing. The service is good and they bring you complimentary fresh conchas when you get seated. That being said don't order the chilaquiles omelette. They put the sauce on the plate and on top of the omelette but the omelette itself is just dry chips wrapped in thin egg. For a few bucks more just get the chilaquiles plate. Came here on a Sunday right after they opened and were greeted and seated immediately. Tried their regular coffee and near little iced coffee flight. Their waffle with the icing is some of the best waffles I've ever tasted, and my girlfriend's meal came with pancakes, which we were too full for, but those heated up great later. Will definitely be back. Their staff is super friendly, and their cooks are on point. The Loaded Cafe is a great choice for dinner quick and delicious breakfast! Especially if you're staying at the Motel 6 right by it easy walk over. The value menu has some great mini meals if you're not crazy hungry. I had the mini waffle meal which has 2 eggs, 2 strips of bacon and a waffle. Everything was delicious and cooked to the doneness I requested. My son had the mini french toast same deal but with 2 pieces of french toast topped with powdered sugar. Excellent as well! read more

I ordered a breakfast plate this morning using Uber Eats and this is how my pancakes arrived. Never have I ever seen pancakes that look like this. I called the restaurant and spoke with the "manager" and she told me "they've never had complaints like this before" while telling me to contact UberEats. My issue is, this isn't an UberEats issue, this is a COOKING issue. The restaurant needed to hear about my experience first hand not through a 3rd party that isn't at fault for creating something so disturbing. The manager I spoke to was rather dismissive of my actual complaint as she kept reiterating this doesn't normally happen as to suggest my complaint wasn't valid. I have ordered food from here multiple times, but this time has me not wanting to return again in the future. From the food received to the "manager's" lack of good customer service, I'm left with a totally different impression of this place. read more

DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE!!! Amazing!!! The fact that you get mini concha's right out of the oven is just one of the many reasons this place amazing. The food is so flavorful and fresh. Ordered the crunchy carne asada chilliquilles and was just blown away by the house made red sauce. Friends ordered the regular carne asada chilliquilles. I think the only difference is mine was served with hash brown, I preferred mine. Had to try the menudo, now that will wake you you the spice was definitely present. You would think we would stop there but no... the screen above us showed the waffles, and well we just had to try that as well, it was perfect with a nice crisp on the outside. Our waiter Juan was on it as well, when I first got my plate the hash browns were luke warm ( I like it piping hot) he quickly got my plate, went to the kitchen, and got me some hot ones in like 2 min (thank you Juan). This place gets crowded so show up early you will not regret it. Have I mentioned the. After our morning experience at the Bellflower location, we decided to drive to the one in Long Beach. Some of the staff were friendly, but the service was lacking in hospitality. The waiter did not come over to check if we needed anything after he took our order. We needed a refill of coffee and after waiting for about 20 minutes, my husband asked a waiter that passed by and he said to hold on, but we waited for another 10 minutes and my husband finally got up to tell the manager that we needed coffee. Finally, we received a refill. As far as the food, it was hyped up too much on IG. The food was just okay. Unfortunately, for my husband it was terrible. He came out with a very upset stomach after eating the chile verde. We will not be returning to any of their locations. read more

Loaded Cafe is a good place to get your breakfast fix; however, you should know that there WILL BE a wait time getting in on weekends, as this place gets PACKED. For breakfast, I went with the Chicken Alfredo omelet with a side of hash browns. The hash browns were cooked to perfection (crisp top and bottom with lesser cooked potatoes in between). The omelet was pretty good, too. If I do this omelet again, I'll be getting it without the Alfredo sauce but I'll keep the parmesan atop. The alfredo really tasted like something you buy from a jar at the grocery store and it wasn't even hot (it was warm-ish). One thing I didn't like was that I had to hunt down a server for a refill on coffee. I raised my hand once to get the attention of a server, she made eye contact with me, then said something to someone next to her, but neither came to see what I needed. Let me tell you, when you're a father, traveling with four kids, YOU NEED THAT COFFEE! Anyway, my wife went with the Caramel topped crepes while the rest of my "crew" went with pancakes, breakfast burrito and Nutella Banana crepes. There were not complaints from any of them. So, it turned out that dad was the grumps today. I'd definitely come back and try other things off their VERY EXTENSIVE menu. read more

Although I do have to point out that our waiters seem uninterested to serve us, I would notice she would check more often on other tables and would ignore us. I had seen Loaded Cafe pop up on my Yelp many times when I still lived in LB but never actually gave them a try. After waking up a bit late and being a little lazy to cook breakfast I figured id get them a try. I was visiting family in LB and wanted to treat them to a nice meal in the morning also. Having been my first time here I was not prepared for their massive menu. It was a spur of the moment thing to get breakfast here so we just walked in to order 5 meals for 5 people. They have their menus up in the front, laminated and in paper to take. It was honestly a bit overwhelming trying to decide what to eat. I felt like I couldn't find their breakfast items; everything felt scattered. I definitely recommend studying their menu before visiting. We ordered our food and two ice coffees and we were told to give them 15 mins. A bit surprised that it would only take 15 mins to prep. So we went back outside, waited in our car and came back inside in 15 mins only to be scolded by the girl in the front asking us to give them 15 additional mins for our food. We walked back to our car and waited. Once we got our food we made our way home ready to eat! The food was very tasty! The sausage breakfast burrito was super fresh. The hash browns in other plates were a good combo of crispy and soft. And the pancakes weren't too dry.
