Stopped by Linger for a quick drink and really enjoyed the atmosphere. I was hoping to try the Wagyu skewers, but unfortunately they weren't being served during the time of day I visited. Definitely looking forward to coming back for dinner the next time I'm in town.
Each trip to Denver we try to drop into Linger. The food is always great and I love the ambiance. This is the first time I've sat next to the opened windows and it felt amazing. Food: 10/10 Ambiance:10/10 Service: 10/10 (Aurora was great) I love the tapas setting and not feeling rushed going through your courses ,and they always do a great job with letting the customer have the experience. Must gets: Bao buns, Wagyu sliders, bison kebab I love tryin new places but if I'm in Denver, Linger is the place we make sure to go to.
I've been to Linger a few times now, including celebrating both my birthday and a friend's birthday there, and it's always been a great experience. The food has consistently been delicious, and the atmosphere is one of my favorite things about the restaurant. It's a fun spot for a special occasion because it feels a little more elevated while still being relaxed and comfortable. The rooftop views and unique menu make it a place I enjoy bringing people who haven't been before. Every time I've gone, I've had great food and a great experience. They have great service considering how busy they consistently are!Linger has definitely become one of my go-to recommendations for a fun night out in Denver.
Linger is situated on what used to be a mortuary. Spooky! However, there is nothing spooky about the service, food, and atmosphere here. It's all peachy! The atmosphere is super nice. Especially on a day with the sun out and a slight breeze, make sure to sit by the open windows for a phenomenal experience while looking at the Denver Downtown view. Bonus points if you get their bottomless mimosas! I was impressed with their food. I got a Mongolian BBQ Duck Bao as well as the Maine Lobster Roll. The bao was too salty for me but I typically like my food on the bland side. The lobster roll was great! I have had lobster rolls before with a weak portion of lobster but there was plenty on the one at Linger. The side of potatoes excellently complemented the lobster roll. Kat was our server and she was great with answering all of our questions, checking in on us just the right amount, and being very personable. Thanks, Kat! If you are looking to take someone on a business lunch, a date, or anything like that, I would highly recommend going to Linger!
TLDR: Elderflower Spritz is light & refreshing. Carrot Cake French toast was to die for. You might be a bit warm if you sit upstairs. Don't order the Chicken Sausage if you're picky. *** Came here on a Saturday visit to Denver around 11am for brunch. I'd recommend making a reservation. Service was spectacular. The hosts were friendly and our server was extremely helpful and made excellent recommendations. We were seated upstairs. It was 100 degrees outside so naturally we were a bit warm up there, but it wasn't unbearable. Casual vibes here - jeans, shorts, tshirts throughout. We ordered Elderflower Spritz's to start. They were absolutely delightful. Light and very refreshing. We also had their seasonal specialty Cashew Queso. It was unlike anything I've ever tasted before. The cashew flavor wasn't overwhelming, it more so added a lovely bit of creaminess to the delicious homemade queso dip. We also shared the Carrot Cake French Toast. I truly have no words for how spectacular this dish was. I'll be fantasizing about it for the rest of my days. Perfectly crispy on the outside, soft, rich, and cakey on the inside - paired with a scoop of some sort of fantastic whipped cream cheese *chefs kiss* Highly recommend getting this to share. If you're bold enough to order it as your entree, be prepared to take a nap shortly afterwards. I also ordered the "Make Your Own Breakfast" with cheddar cheese scrambled eggs and a side of avocado & home fries. It was all amazing. The portion wasn't overbearing but with the 2 appetizers we had - everyone at the table left happy. One thing to note: someone in my party ordered the Chicken Sausage and said they'd definitely get the bacon next time. So if you're picky about your sausage, try the bacon or avocado instead. Overall 10 out of 10 would recommend!!
I can't believe it's been 5 years since I last visited Linger! I love the Edible Beats restaurant family. I'm pretty sure I still have a little money left on a gift card and would love to come back again. The most recent time was for a work dinner. We ordered an assortment of dishes to share. Their cocktails are tasty, though I don't recall which ones I tried. Not a bad seat in the house, either. I'm always a fan of their Devils on Horseback. I enjoyed the Steamed Bao and Sweet Potato Fries more than last time, though YEARS ago my visit was during the pandemic. The Ube Ice Cream was unique - would recommend. Actually, it's crazy to look at my food pictures from both visits and realize I basically ordered the same things. There are lots more options on the menu, which I'll try next time!
This was the best meal I've had in a long time. I loved every single thing I ate - my favorites were the sliders, dates and cheese curds. If I had to leave anything it would be the chicken satay (not photographed), but it was very well done. It was also one of my favorite vibes I've had in a restaurant - tastefully moody but inviting. We had reservations (highly recommend) and were seated after about 10 minutes. Our waiter was helpful with the menu but no where near overwhelming.
I've been here 3 or 4 times, and every time, it does not disappoint! The vibes are on point. I can't wait to check out the rooftop sometime. The staff is always friendly and makes great suggestions. And the food is always fresh and delicious. Linger is a Denver staple!
I have a bit different opinion about this place now as I dined at this place with my daughter about a week or so ago on a Wednesday and from service to food to ambiance, everything went quite well (to my surprise.) Hence, I must write. We showed up to our 5:30pm reservation. We were immediately seated unlike the last time (at our last dining occasion 6+ months or so ago, despite making a reservation, we had to wait for AT LEAST 10-15 minutes or a bit longer until they had a table for us.) This sure was a nice start. Then our waitress, Lauren (Lo is how she goes by, I believe) was exceptional. Her attentiveness coupled with her quiet and yet eloquent delivery of speech to explain several different menus and her familiarity with them was top notch. She was also able to make great suggestions as to which dish(es) we should get when we stumbled. Some dishes were a bit too salty to my liking and yet overall, they entertained our palates and stomachs. To mention some of them, the presentation of the Crispy Filipino Spring Rolls (2) ($7 from the HH menu) was creative. The long skinny deep-fried spring rolls were unapologetically and perfectly deep-fried with the nicest crispiness. The two sauces that accompanied the rolls added some enhancement to the whole savoring. The Smashed Wagyu Sliders' meat was quite rich. HH price of $8.5 is one-piece price and we ordered two of those. The portion size was decent. Anything that's wagyu can be pricey; I can call $8.5 a decent price. My daughter wanted skewers so we got us the Bison Steak Kushiyaki based on our wonderful waitress' suggestion. The meat was quite tender. Well-seasoned. Now our dessert to conclude our night - and once again, based on our wonderful waitress' suggestion - we went with the Maduros & Crema (roasted plantain, crema de queso mousse, smoked almond & cotija). This truly shocked us as we had never had a dessert quite like this before. Although this takes long to prepare (as our waitress explained), it was worth the wait. $12 (as of early March of 2026) seemed like a fare price for it as the portion size justified it. I think I will dine at Linger again. Although it still isn't my absolute favorites, our last week's dining experience became a reason as to why we should consider Linger as we see fit.
Well... I used to really love Linger but this last experience was really just ok. For starters, it was extremely hot in the restaurant and incredibly loud even though it wasn't really that busy which just made it uncomfortable. The server was very nice though but the food.... Meh... we went for brunch and my mom had the BLT Biscuit which came out cold, she liked the salad however the plate was so hot it made her salad warm. I had the Denver Omelette Sammy and it was ok. It says it's a crumpet but it was 100% an English muffin and it just wasn't great. There just wasn't much flavor and the home fries were too salty. Maybe it was just a bad day... I'll definitely try again.
Linger's rooftop atmosphere was great! The food truck was cute--unfortunately, (for me) there were too many people in front to take a photo, but the two guys working it were very friendly. The food we shared: CRISPY CHEESE CURDS: Beer Batter, Shishitos & Jalapeño Jam and HOT HONEY SWEET FRIES Æ: Waffle Cut & Mile High Seasoning was tasty. The drink prices were very high; two of us purchased the rose bubbly, and the pour size was very small f"and cost $16 per drink. My partner had a beer. My drink, plus his beer, plus tip was $30. Yikes! Neither drinks were fancy and a bottle of MCBRIDE SISTERS sparkling rose in a liquor store is $17.99. I know that venues and restaurants upcharge, however, for the pour size...ridiculous. Luckily, the atmosphere outweighed the overly priced drinks.
Fun rooftop bar that's an eatuary because it's where it was once a mortuary. Great happy hour with many app and cocktail options. We had their old fashioned. Service was kind and the offline app works there as well! Great little part of town
We had brunch reservations here for a friend's bachelorette and it was a great space to gather with friends. The service was the best, they were so attentive and provided great recommendations for food. I loved my drink, the Final Petal and my friend got the breakfast Dosa which was delicious. Highly recommend if you are Denver.
all in all very nice flavors and great quality and restaurant aesthetic but idk taste-wise it didn't completely satisfy me. fusion food is always cool and especially because they're were so many varieties of asian cuisine, but probably because it didn't feel authentic (?) but awesome waiter and it's sooo busy read more
I've been wanting to come here for years and finally the stars aligned. Our server T was excellent and gave us recommendations. She was very attentive and friendly. We tried 4 plates. Everything was so good. The hot honey sweet fries have convinced me that all fries should have hot honey on them. The nachos were so fresh. The bao bun was fluffy. The bison skewer was tender and cooked perfectly. The decor is so cool; I wandered around to see everything. T recommended the dessert we ordered and it was the best thing I've ever tasted. I went in this place for lunch after flying in mid week. The margarita was different with the foam but it was pretty good. The bun was the best thing I had. I didn't like the chicken dish, it was way too citrusy. It taste like they just squeezed a ton of lemon all over the plate. It was very pretty inside but I didn't get the best service especially considering the place was near empty. read more

I visited Linger while on a trip to Denver. I was impressed with the variety of vegetarian options and the willingness of the staff to make suggestions. The service was excellent. The food is more tapas style and the food and drinks menu is quite extensive. I ordered a cauliflower ceviche( minus shrimp) and a masala dosa. The ceviche was very tasty and the accompanying chips were a good combo. The potato in the dosa was huge and the dosa was overdone. The chutneys, especially the date chutney were good. The frozen painkiller cocktail was amazing. The total bill for two of us with 2 drinks and 3 appetizers was around $110. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for vegetarian options and good drinks! read more

We came to Denver for a show at Red Rocks and one of the artists posted about this place. It did not disappoint! First, our waiter Zander was amazing! Great service, great repertoire, and had the best recommendations. We ordered espresso martinis, Bloody Marys, and Micheladas. Food, we ordered the short rib Benedict, Birria tamales, and the Denver Sammy. NONE of the food disappointed. We also ordered the donut holes and the bao buns. Seriously... none of the food disappointed and it was probably the best brunch place we ever ate at. The restaurant is a rooftop restaurant so you can look out making the ambiance impeccable. We are for sure coming back any time when we come back to Denver. read more

Came for HH. They have a decent amount of HH specials. One of our friends were running late and wanted to order a drink for her before HH ended but according to their policy, they can only bring one drink per person. She did arrive at 6:05 pm but they still gave us HH pricing which was great! Got the chicken satay, duck and fried chicken bao pot stickers. The chicken satay had a green peanut sauce on it which was interesting but delicious. The duck and fried chicken Baos both had great flavor as well. It was a modern clean atmosphere and great place for HH though parking can be kind of rough. Street parking is difficult to find but there is a lot nearby which cost $7 for 2 hrs. read more

Do not trust Linger's igloo or holiday reservations. We booked 9 days in advance specifically for their igloos / holiday rooftop experience. On the day of our reservation, we were suddenly informed that the igloos were "fully booked" and that we were downgraded to an indoor table, with only a possible spot in a standing rooftop area. That is not what was reserved or marketed. This was not an accident -- it was mishandled and misleading from start to finish: * Waiting until the day of to change the reservation is unacceptable. * Staff attempted to smooth it over with one complimentary round of drinks, which felt like a cheap attempt to silence valid complaints. * Zero consideration for customer time, plans, or holiday logistics. * A representative later stated the only igloo availability was Christmas Eve, which is absurd for anyone with family commitments. * We were told there is a separate way to book igloos, yet this is not disclosed anywhere -- not on their website, social media, or phone system. * Staff also falsely claimed there may be availability before 5:30 PM, which later proved to be untrue. This feels like a deliberate bait-and-switch: accept reservations knowing customers expect igloos, then downgrade them last minute and hope they still show up and spend money. That is deceptive, unprofessional, and raises serious questions about their business practices. For a restaurant that markets itself as upscale and experience-driven, this level of dishonesty is embarrassing. If you're planning anything special -- do not book here unless you're okay with your reservation being changed without warning. read more

Amazing spot for casual rooftop hangout with friends/colleagues. Nearby public parking made it convenient to make our lunch appointment on Thursday. The waitress was super friendly and shared their popular items and her personal favorites. Mortuary Margarita tasted sooo good. We loved the Pork Pot stickers and 5 Spice Pork Belly Bao Buns. Hot Honey Fries which came as a side for Lobster Roll and Double Smashed burger had a nice blend of flavors. Would love to visit again next time we are in Denver hopefully for weekend brunch :) read more
This place was chef's kiss!! Loved every single plate, we were 3 and were pretty full. We also had the fries but missing the pic because we literally devoured them hahah. The rest was packed so I would highly advise to make a reservation to avoid waiting for a long time. This being said it can be a little loud but the food compensates a lot, drinks were ok overall. If I ever go back to Denver I am for sure trying this place again read more
From start to finish - this place was exceptional! We had a reservation and were greeted and seated promptly - the ambiance was great - open air windows and tiered seating - we were seated one from the windows but still felt like we were outside. Our server was great - recommended many dishes - there were 4 hungry people so we tried A LOT and everything was over the top - I did not take a pic of the buns but everyone LOVED them so get those too! Drinks were great - and while it was a limited wine list - we were happy with the selections. I loved that each dish had its own spice and sauce - nothing was the same - KUDOS to the team - if I could give 6 stars then I would! They set a bar that's very high for service, ambiance, food!! We went here because of Atlas Obscura. Former mortuary come estuary? Yes, please. I would have loved it for just that. But the food, the look and vibe of the place, plus the friendly and knowledgeable staff made it amazing. I ate so many things that I typically hate (beets and edamame) that I went back for over and over. We pretty much tried the whole happy hour menu as well as stuff from the dinner menu. Came here as a party of 6 for Sunday brunch. Our server was friendly and checked on us often. We experienced quite a wait with getting our entrees ordered. We also got our entrees first then had to wait a little longer to get our drinks: I think the bartenders might've been backed up with various orders. The drinks came out delicious. We shared a lot of small plates on the recommendation of our server and everything was delicious! The pork belly and fried chicken buns were excellent! The cheese curds were crisp and somehow not greasy; I usually avoid fried cheese curds, but these were excellent. The shishito peppers were a nice touch. The edamame had a nice kick with the chili sauce and the sliders were flavorful and delicious. The sweet potato waffle fries with honey were amazing. The beer and cocktail list had some great selections including a lot of local beers. Service was excellent and our server had great suggestions. The volume is a little loud once the place is full, but it was still possible to have a conversation with people nearby without shouting. read more
What an amazing dinner! We were a group of 4 friends celebrating our friends birthday who wanted to try this restaurant. And we loved that it was restaurant week. We are foodies and we shared three orders of the restaurant menu! We had to try all the Bao buns! All of them were amazing. It's hard to pick a favorite. As our main. We split the sliders off the regular menu. And the bison sirloin (so delicious) and the chicken! Another fan favorite! We so feasted! Oh shout out to our amazing server Jake!! And we got the wine special... not a fan. So get the old fashioned or the last Saigon. And you can't go wrong We tried all three desserts. The Vietnamese tiramisu. Is the winner there! So tasty, I forgot to take more pictures. Taste deserves 5 stars but the portion for price is meh. Split edamame, lamb kafta, chicken skewer lettuce wraps and the gluten-eating hubs had one of the bao buns. And we were still quite hungry. From a gluten free perspective - great selections but very meat forwards since we can't have bao buns. Overall, tasty but wish portions were larger! read more
We came here for my wife's 26th birthday and I didn't know what to expect. Very busy place even on a Wednesday which wasn't a huge deal. Very Nice atmosphere when you walk in--loud and a bit smoky, but that's part of the vibe. We didn't get to see the rooftop bar (heard great things), but the overall feel is relaxed and upscale. I liked the ordering style of trying different foods at your own pace not rushed. Service was friendly, but drinks took way too long even a glass of wine was slow, which was a negative when trying to time a glass of port with dessert. The food, though, was very good. The duck fried rice was easily the highlight: perfectly toasty rice, tender duck, and fresh veggies. Absolutely delicious. Overall, a spot I'd come back to, but most likely only for the rooftop for happy hour. read more

SUCH a nice spot and we were able to get in later in the evening as well. We didn't come in for a huge meal but they had some yummy mocktails and some taro nachos which were nothing like I've ever had before. We were seated in a booth and the ambiance was very romantic. I believe there is outside seating as well but don't quote me on that. The service was also really good. I was even able to forget my credit card there and was able to get it back the next day earlier than opening hours. They have a really organized system as well to handle that. This attention to detail is what I appreciate when I go out to eat. I will definitely be back if I'm ever in the area. read more
Met up with a sorority sister of mine who was in from out of town, and we were both intrigued to learn that Linger was a former mortuary. Really. Cool. Space. I booked a reservation, and unfortunately there was no rooftop seating available, but it was a hotter day, so we'll check that out another time. We were there with their brunch menu and decided to try a bunch of shareables. Had the pandan waffle with salted cream, single ube pancake with lilikoi sauce, and churro French toast with brown sugar. That really hit the sweet tooth, so we needed some savories also. Took our waitress T's recommendation of the Korean fried chicken Bao bun- amazing! Could have easily had more than one; optimal for sharing with a friend as it came in an order of two. Ended with a seasonal special- grilled peaches with burrata on toast. Ended up packing the leftovers to go and was still tasty 2 days later. The sourdough was lightly charred to perfection. Can't wait to come back and try the dinner menu! read more
I came here on Saturday Aug 16th for a birthday celebration and the service is amazing. Our waitress was great. The bottomless Mimosas were okay, only options are orange($25) or blood orange($27) kinda sour but worth it- i will also say refills were slow. The food was okay but expensive for what you get. This used to be one of our favorite spots but upon our return this weekend we realized that the menu changed drastically. The change was not for the best. Everything used to be just as expensive as it is now, but at least the portion sizes made up for it. Our server let us know that Linger is known for their bao buns, which we had never had. We ordered one to share and the duck was super juicy but didn't really have a hero flavor and the bun itself was lackluster. We shared the mushroom kebab plate and got a tiny portions of everything, we were so grateful that this was not the only thing we ordered because we would have left hungry. The largest portion on that plate was the sweet crispy rice noodles, which tasted a bit like Rice Krispies ( I love Rice Krispies but didn't seem to fit with the rest of the plate). We ordered the fried rice before our server recommended our friends not order it because it was their least favorite thing on the menu. This would have maybe been helpful to tell us while we were ordering. We were then curious about why our server hated it, upon the fried rice arrival, I realized why. It is so vinegar/acidic, no other real flavor. The khao soi was probably the best thing we ordered. Great amount of crab in it but the scallop just tasted of fish (like the fish section at HMart). I was intrigued by the Golden Silk drink on the menu as I'd never heard of tofu being in a drink. This was just plain bad, and also not blended well. It tasted more like an unsweetened yogurt and turmeric drink. If you get anything from here, get the doughnuts. These came out so fresh and warm. We left disappointed by one of our past staple restaurants in this area. Do not plan on returning here, mostly due to the prices and lack of varieties of flavor. I know there are other more flavorful cuisine fusion restaurants in Denver, like ZoMo or Hop Alley with much more reasonable prices. read more

Really great date night spot! Had a nice mix of shareables and the sweet fries were a great start! The mushroom skewer was super tasty and the lettuce wraps with the fiery tofu was a light app. All great dishes. Perfect place to try a bunch of things. Service was great and quick. read more
Lovely service in a classic, informal and casual atmosphere. Would definitely recommend sitting on the rooftop for nice views of the city while enjoying food, drinks, and great conversations. We had the wagyu sliders, fried chicken boa buns, and plantains (not pictured). read more

After my recent experience here, this is now one of my favorite restaurants in Denver. A friend, my husband, and I all shared: - Mongolian BBQ Duck, Char Siu Pork Belly, and Korean Fried Chicken Baos - Bombay "Nachos" - Lemongrass Pork Potstickers - Sweet Potato Tamale - Scallion Pancake - Pad Thai with Bison Skewer - Ube Dessert If I had to pick favorites, I'd go with the nachos, potstickers, and tamale. Everything was really fantastic though. I loved all of the fusion of flavors and cuisines that they have. I recommend coming with a group and sharing food so you can try more of the menu. read more
I hate to not rate Linger higher-- the service was really great! I've been here a few times now, and while the food has generally been good (not necessarily amazing, but good), it's the vibe of the place that I have liked the most. And vibes will get you far... if the food is good (even if it's not great). However, this last visit, I really didn't love the food. The waygu beef sliders were good (my favorite thing about this plate though was the side of hot honey waffle fries, which were excellent). The duck bao buns were average tasting... it needed something crisp or zesty to help balance out the flavors and add some texture. But my main disappointment was the pad thai. It was so overpowered by what I think was the fish sauce, the dish tasted too salty and not like pad thai at all. We had leftovers of this and no one wanted to take it home. Maybe the kitchen was off that day, or our ordering was off... since my past experiences haven't been so bad, I'd come back, but probably not for a while. read more
We are not from Denver and I was not expecting much. However, we were pleasantly surprised, the appetizers were delicious (try the tuna crudo). I ordered the lobster & seared scallops and it was really good ( a bit salty). Ambiance is good, service is mediocre (it's NYE) so understandable lol. read more

This is our second time going to Linger and the service, food were incredible! We ordered duck fried rice and it was so crispy and flavorful. The second meal we chose tonight was Cesar salad, which didn't disappoint as well and for dessert we went with one ice cream. Ice cream was very creamy and not too sweet. read more
What a wonderful dinner I had at this restaurant. The service was amazing and everyone was so friendly. The ambiance upstairs where I was at was nice. They had lots of different color lights at the bar and you can have a conversation with no loud music. Now, let's get to the food. I made it just in time for happy hour and I was so happy since this restaurant does family style ordering. I first tried what they're know for which is Bao Buns. Char Siu Pork belly- the pork with the charred broccoli with very well with the pork belly. This dish was a winner. Mongolian BBQ Duck- the pickled cucumber and scallions messed with the duck. Everything work together very well and the duck was tender. Smashed Wagyu Slider- this little slider was soo good! The bacon onion jam was on point with the Wagyu meat. I'll definitely order more of these next time I come here. If you're looking for a great meal then give them a try. You'll enjoy yourself. read more

We had the Bao bun trio and the devils on horseback, both were delicious
Are they doing anything for mew years like a roof top party?
We typically offer a pre-fixed dinner. As long as the weather is great we will have the rooftop open!
Is brunch everyday, or only on the weekends?
Brunch is Served Friday- Sunday, from 10:00 am - 2:00 PM. Check out the Bottomless Mimosas!
Do you have to make reservations for dinner?
No they are not necessary. However, Reservations are highly recommended.
Are they still having their regular happy hour 4-5?
Happy Hour is currently available 4:00- 5:00 pm Monday - Thursday
Do they have any gluten free options?
Yes! Their gluten free options are clearly marked on the menu (try the bacon wrapped dates and waffle fries!), just make sure you specify you want the items gluten free.
Do they allow you to bring your own wine and pay corkage?
I don't think they are BYOB. Not from what I seen during my visit
What time are kids allowed until?
Kids are definitely welcomed there. They have an awesome kids meal that they serve in a bento-box style plate, and they have high chairs.
Is the patio heated during the winter?
A part of it, it is. I don't think they are on on really cold days.
How kid friendly is Linger?
Not very at all at the bar but maybe downstairs with reservations... but the bar is a bar scene
