salted maple latte
Sarah C.

this Linea location is pretty small and meant for take out only, but has a vintage, cozy charm that a lot of Mission district cafes have. I got the iced salted maple latte ($9.50), most of the flavor is in that salted maple cream, which tasted delicious. the latte itself, however, was pretty milky. overall the drink size is tiny and not worth almost $10

Ordered the salted maple latte (~$9) The latte base itself was really good, but the salted maple aspect is just a whipped cream top with maple drizzle + salt. I think I was expecting the flavor to be incorporated into the drink, but didn't really taste the salt or maple in the latte. Still a good drink, but probably would just go for a regular latte next time since this wasn't a stand out. There's no seating, it's very much grab&go. Good for morning strolls or quick pick me up.

This place is a gem. Passed by for an afternoon pick up. Quick, easy and it felt like home. The staff knows their community - It was a breath of fresh air. The matcha latte was by far amazing. Not too sweet and made with care. Pro tip - Matcha Pandan Muffin! Get it! It's bomb Would I come here again? Absolutely - I don't usually come to the office, but when I do I'm coming here for my afternoon pick me up. Would I

Had a chance to try Linea Caffe located in the Mission with some friends and this was a great experience. My friend had heard good things about the shop through instagram so it was a no brainer to try this spot when we saw it. This place also sells fresh coffee beans and my friend ended up buying two bags as well. I tried the Vanilla Latte which was very yummy and well tasting, Overall enjoyed this very much! Service was fast and helpful as well!

Service was very friendly and quick! I was a bit disappointed with the matcha. I felt it was a bit watery and grainy, and wish there had been more tea flavor.

Yup, this was everything I dreamt of. Location is quaint and tucked in the corner, an in-and-out situation with no seating inside. I'm usually skeptical of coffee shops that also are roasters because I have a particular preference for beans. I prefer a dark roast with caramel/toffee/chocolate notes and stray away from bright or acidic beans. When I visited Linea they had an array of freshly roasted beans, including some that were 50% off - something I considered a good deal since their beans are pretty pricy regularly ($22+) so I grabbed a Brazil blend for $16.5, a steal! I treated myself to a salted maple latte and the gentlemen helping me were extremely patient and friendly. They took their time explaining the different notes and reassuring me that their beans are roasted for sweetness. Coffee was smooth and creamy, it had the perfect amount of sweetness without overpowering the coffee flavor. I'm excited to come back again and try their other beans!

Stopped in here Thanksgiving morning with family for a cuppa Joe. Wow! We were all really pleased with our beverage order....match, latte, corridor, decaf coffee. I ordered the holiday special...maple salted caramel latte. It was delicious! The hot whole milk latte with maple syrup added, was topped with homemade whipped cream drizzled with caramel and maldon salt. Soo good! Definitely a 5 star coffee. Not indoor seating. Benches available outside.

Cute local spot for coffee. They sell whole bean bags too! I got the chai latte and it was pretty solid but maybe not quite for $7... the staff is super nice. It's small so there's no real seating area inside but a few spots outside.

Americano was excellent! Staff was friendly! There's no indoor seating. There are a couple of benches outside. Id definitely recommend grabbing a coffee here.

Good coffee, dog friendly, has a wooded outdoor seating area for you and your pup to hangout. Only reason why I didn't give it a 5 star instead of 4 is because they added a pastry I didn't want onto my order. I just paid for it, no big deal but just would've liked for my order to be told back to me before paying. Other than that. Good quaint little place to grab coffee

Not impressed. $4 for a small cappuccino that had almost no foam and took 20 mins to make. They are too hip for me.

Can't decide what I like most: the waffle, the hot chocolate, or the hilarious baristas. If this place were a woman, I would marry it.

Stopped by for a cappuccino to go on my way to the BART. Expensive at $4.50 but good quality and I'll try it again some time.

$3.50 for twelve ounces of drip coffee is over the line. I admit that it tasted really good, though!

Best Belgian waffle I've had yet! Except for the ones in Brussels. Delicious. And my espresso shot was well done too.

It never feels transactional -- it feels personal and cozy in the best way. And the pastries and savory items... honestly, everything we've tried has been delicious. We especially love all their croissants, especially the almond croissant. The banana bread, coconut gluten-free muffin, coconut donut, and cinnamon bread are all so good too. This Americano was made to perfection with enough water/espresso ratio, just absolutely delicious. The place was busy with steady line and the only thing I would say that the bathroom needed attending. CC accepted.

This is a stand nestled in the middle of the Japan Center Mall, so recommend grabbing a sip here and wandering around. Just heads up that many stores don't allow outside drink.

Worth the hype IMO,, I'll be stopping by every time we go to Japantown from now on.
