Matcha here was pretty solid! Prominent matcha taste and yum. I got the pistachio matcha and could taste both. My friend enjoyed her ube matcha. My friend got pistachio matcha ice cream and it was really good! Located in the Japan town shopping center. Line was short when I went. I'd want to explore more of their menu

Just came back. This time it doesn't have ube. What a let down. Still popular and quick service. Matcha soft serve and Hokaido milk soft serve and matcha latte still flying off the shelves. Just sitting out and enjoy the passer by

This beverage place is located inside the mall of Japan Town. Matcha was flavorful - it did not have that grainy feeling. It was smooth and well balanced. I thought it could have been more solid - not on the watery side. i expected much more from the "hype."

After lunch, my mom and I stopped by for dessert since it's conveniently located right across from the shops. I got a matcha soft serve in a cone, and she got the same in a cup. The matcha soft serve was lightly sweet and very creamy. It had a vibrant green color, but the matcha flavor was on the milder side, you don't really get that signature bitterness. My mom loved it. Customer service was amazing. They also seem to have expanded their menu, offering matcha and latte drinks, soft serve with various toppings, and even cheese tarts. There's a seating area right in front, which makes it a nice spot to hang out and enjoy your dessert. Overall, a great place for a casual treat! :)

This place got me hooked on Hokkaido milk! How delicious is it? I got the matcha with 0 sweet since I was informed that Hokkaido milk is naturally on the sweeter side. Tbh... I just wanted a cup of milk! The lines move fast and your order comes out pretty quickly also. Don't be intimated!

First time trying their Hokkaido Matcha swirl soft serve and went to Japanese milky heaven! THIS is the taste of Hokkaido ice cream.

Matcha heaven here, with many drink options from matcha latte, to Ube matcha latte and dirty matcha (espresso in a matcha latte). They also offer soft serve matcha ice cream & Hokkaido milk soft serve which are both delicious. The Americano, which is an unsweetened matcha drink (plain with no milk), iced, is one of the best that I've had. Their matcha gelato is also very delicious and this is the only place I have found this treat. There are two lines, one for self-ordering at the kiosk but I prefer the cashier line so that I can make sure I order what I want. The line moves pretty fast so don't be discouraged if you see a line.

It was strangely difficult to find a matcha spot in Japantown, so it was understandable that Maruwu Seicha (the only spot we could find) had a substantial line when we arrived after lunchtime on a Sunday. There was an option to place your order at kiosk or at the counter, although both lines seemed to be moving at the same pace. I kept my order simple with a matcha latte with whole milk. There were limited sweetness options (0%, 50%, or 100%) so I selected 50% sweetness. Despite the long queue of drinks ahead of me, mine was miraculously prepared in under 10 minutes. The matcha latte was smooth and silky, although very sweet (25% sweetness would have been perfect). I saw many other customers walking around with matcha soft serve cones, which I'll have to try on my next visit. There was seating near the cafe inside the mall, but it was very crowded and noisy so my friends and I took our drinks to go.

Love the soft serve here. It's on the creamy side. Service is quick they have 2 separate lines you can do a self service order line or order from a staff. The hojicha black sesame latte was really yummy

Came here and tried the Matcha drink. It's really good. Definitely taste like Matcha. Service here is about a 10 minute wait could be longer especially during on the weekends when it's crowded ambience is really nice especially it's located in Japantown

    Crowded! Long Lines!

The Good: Very smooth matcha here. Hokkaido milk was delicious as well! Once you made it to the front, service was fast and efficient. The Not so Good: Guava Peach purée was too sweet. The Bad: Super long lines to place your order via kiosk or an employee. Over 40 minutes to get to the front and place your order. This is on a Sunday! I'd order here again if there was no line or a short line. Ambiance was mall vibe. Crowded, loud and chaotic.

Third time patronizing this store establishment and second time at this location. It is the highlight of every trip to Japantown or San Francisco in general. Really enjoy the quality of ice cream and drinks. I highly recommend the coffee affogato and horjicha latte and recommend to get the matcha/Hokkaido swirl as one can sample all the best options available. The sweetness and bitterness compliments each other. I would say the affogato is the better option with the cold/hot combo. Latte was too cold with ice and ice cream and had to wait for it to melt a little bit to enjoy it more. The ice cream was a little miss this trip as it was a little icy in the cream. I just let it thawed out a little longer to enjoy. Until my next trip for matcha fix.

Dessert: Matcha Soft Serve Price: $6.50 Overall: Another spot in SF Japantown besides Maiko Cafe that serves up yummy matcha and hojicha soft serve, drinks/desserts! Honestly, I can't complain. The matcha soft serve was a good sweet with enough matcha flavor to taste. No comments; just pure delicious sweet treat.

The Palmetto here is located just inside the main entrance right next to Blaze Pizza. Walk up to the order station and let your choices be known! No fear, as the service here was attentive and courteous when I went. My usual is the generic "Just Acai" bowl to which I can add whatever toppings I want, which are usually the honey almond granola, strawberries, but I just skip the final "finishes" - maybe that's just me. Works for me! Typical Mall vibe here, with just a couple of small benches to sit down to enjoy your treats in front, or head up to the food court upstairs to consume. All in all, one of the better places for an acai bowl or smoothie.

This location is really close to my work, which was great. I stopped by on a Tuesday at 1:30pm and there were only a few customers inside. I like the simple decor and the big menu on the wall, it reminded me of Hawaii. I ordered the original gangster and waited less than 5 minutes before it was ready. The açaí was not too sweet (just how I like it), and I loved all the toppings that came with it such as the granola, banana, blueberry, coconut shavings, and honey. The strawberry was a bit too tart but other than that, everything was great. I think I've found my favorite açai spot in the city. I can't wait to try other flavors next time I stop by.
