Finally got the chance to try Tadaima. There was a long line at a kind of off lunch hour on the weekend. It moves pretty fast. Probably ordered and got my sando within 30 minutes. Pleaseee get these poor workers an AC unit that works, I felt so bad that they were sweltering in the recent heat when I went (and having to yell people's names over a loud crowd). Definitely bear in mind that this is not a quick service place as of now, since there are so many people interested! Great matcha and musubi in the Marina! The pistachio cream matcha latte was so good. As a huge matcha fan, I definitely approve. I loved that it wasn't too sweet, and the all-green interior is super cute and inviting. For food, I tried the unagi, avocado, and spam with egg musubi. So we got a plain matcha latte with oat milk. The matcha flavor was strong and it's not too sweet. The drink could have been smoother since there's a matcha powder texture at the end of each sip. We ordered a Strawberry & Cream Sando as well as a Strawberry Matcha Latte. In my opinion, the sando itself was a solid 3.5/5. Though the cream and strawberry was very sweet and delicious, the bread was unfortunately a little airy & dry which made the sando on the disappointing side for us. I never made it out to their location in the Mission District, simply because I don't frequent that neighborhood as often, and so I was happy to learn that they are now also in the Marina. (I'm sad that the establishment they took over, 7 Tables, is gone, but such is life.) I came on a weekday and shared a strawberry matcha latte and a fruit sando. Both were good, but not amazing. The drink was good for the first few sips, but I realized that I liked the strawberry portion--the matcha part was actually a bit too bitter for my personal preference. (For what it's worth, I've also been making my own matcha at home and it's sort of made it hard for me to appreciate cafe matcha drinks because I've become pickier ) Overall, I'm happy that I tried this place and that I didn't wait in line for hours for it. Matcha & Hojicha are perfect in flavor and just strong enough ;) I've had the sandos here and can't get enough of them. Service is pretty quick and lines can get long on busy times. I got the matcha latte with strawberry cream and it was really good! I enjoyed it a lot. There were crunchy strawberries at the top of the drink that made it very pleasant to drink and crunch on. I like it a lot better than the dehydrated strawberries other shops use that don't typically have a crunch like that. My partner doesn't really like matcha but he really enjoyed this drink! They do use quite a bit of cream in the drink, so there isn't as much matcha as I would like or expect in a drink. For the price that we pay for this drink, I think they could use slightly bigger cups to offset the ratio and add a bit more of the matcha latte in comparison to the cream. The drink was finished quickly and didn't feel like a lot or enough. The drink was very short lived and can be finished within minutes. Another issue I have is that I'm unsure how a $7.75 drink turned out to be nearly $10 before tip. I think they may charge hidden fees (which is now illegal). I went to a coffee shop afterwards and the drink was around the same price but ended up being $8-9 before tip. I really liked Tadaima but I am unsure I would come back due to the price discrepancy and portions. It was a nice treat to have though. read more

Tadaima is a gem in Cow Hollow! Stopped by for a quick lunch and ended up staying longer than planned because everything was so good. We ordered both a hot and iced matcha latte, and really appreciated that they offered coconut milk as most places don't. We were told the regular matcha latte comes with 3 pumps of simple syrup, so I asked for 1.5 instead. I also asked to do an extra matcha shot, and was told they already put a double matcha shot in there which is great to hear! There was a great matcha flavor, but as someone who enjoys really strong matcha, I think it could've used a taaaaaad bit more. The coconut milk added a slight sweetness to it, so I'm glad I adjusted the sweetness! If you're in the area, I'd recommend Tadaima over others nearby! read more
