A hole in a wall nestled between the FiDi & Chinatown! Quick and easy self service kiosk with lovely service; everytime I'm here for a quick bite I'm never left unsatisfied. This time around I went to get their poke and I have to say that it's one of the best around the downtown area. The portions are filling and generous, the toppings? FRESH (please get the mangos, they're in season... sweet and juicy!!) A large bowl comes around ~$17.50 which is fair for the city and will leave you feeling full and happy! They also have interesting sando options and burritos like a shrimp and cheese one ( a review for another day)

Simple order of a salmon sashimi onigiri. Taste and price were not bad I wish it was just easier to eat lol. Service was also fast and the owners are super friendly when you walk in the store. It's a quick order type of place, not too many tables and chairs.

Poke bowls have been getting more and more expensive now with bowls reaching closer to $20 after tax. V Cafe is the only place where bowls are closer to $15-$16 AND their bowls are PACKED with toppings. Their bowls are big and are filled to the brim. They have many topping available and do not restrict you on how much to you get. Their sauces are really good too. Overall, the bowl is very tasty and has enough food for 2 meals for me! I always get their rose lychee drink as well!

I ordered a Vietnamese coffee and a chicken chipotle burrito. Coffee was really good strong just like I like my Vietnamese coffee. There was one girl serving I was the only one there so it wasn't too long until I got my order. I was concerned when the chicken was microwaved but I guess it's no different when you go to subway and they warm up the chicken. The burrito could have had more veggies it was a little dry but the chipotle sauce on the side made the dish. It was pricey for the two items almost $20. No table seems to a to go spot only. Right on the corner. I was there early so traffic hadn't picked up yet. Cute little spot

They have a variety of options for breakfast and lunch! There are sandwiches, burritos, poke bowls and different drinks. Ordered: - breakfast sandwich: I usually get their breakfast sandwich (you can choose between croissants, bagel or toast) and add the fillings that you want. It comes with chipotle sauce, which adds a slightly spicy kick. I've also tried their breakfast burrito, which is a big portion cut in half. You can also choose the fillings. Overall, great spot to grab breakfast or lunch! They have food and drinks at a very reasonable price-point. It's mostly for takeout but they have two tables available outside. The staff are friendly and nice, and the service is quick. Def recommend it!

Take out orders only. Fast & friendly service in the Financial district area (near SF Chinatown). Great food & lots of options: Sandwiches, Wraps, Burritos, Poke Bowls, Sushi Onigiri...omg, so many in a tiny place! Love, love

This restaurant is take out only, and it's a small place but the flavors coming out of there is amazing. You place your order on a screen and the service was quick. We ordered the BLT on a croissant, a bacon, egg and cheese on an Asiago bagel, a mango passion fruit tea and a peach pineapple fruit smoothie. Everything was so good. Definitely should check this place out if you want a quick bite to eat.

Just discovered this spot yesterday and I've already been twice. Yesterday I had the salmon sashimi and today I went with the dragon one. I prefer the dragon sashimi but they're honestly both delicious. It is about $20 more or less for one sashimi but they're honestly huge and sooo good it's worth it. I used to frequent onigilly and they are more affordable but I prefer the flavor of these sashimis. They're soooo good I can't express it enough. It's a small shop with a couple of tables outside, kiosk self-ordering and small staff. I waited maybe 10 minutes yesterday (only one worker) and 5 tops today. The lady that assisted me today was on top of things and really nice! I'm probably gonna take a break from this after today but I'm already looking forward to my next visit. Oh and I almost forgot I had the peach piña tea yesterday and that was sooooo good too!! Honestly anything is probably good here.

Would really recommend this place! The food is fresh, the portion size for the Poké bowl is big, and the sauces are delicious :-) will definitely be returning

We changed from the platter to à la carte dishes and as we were finishing up our order, we got word that the Short ribs were in stock so we ordered one of those as well. We had a large beast, 2 poke orders, garlic noodles, fried rice, loco moco, spam masubi, short ribs, and 2 orders of chicken wings. We had some alcoholic beverages as well and found the yuzu to be delicious, but overall everything was tasty and good. I really enjoyed the chicken wings, very flavorful but truly bummed this place is going to close. Ambiance was nice, I remember people coming here to karaoke and even hanging out to watch games.

The Mai Tai was so easy to drink. It was like juice but so dangerous because they don't skimp on the alcohol. For the poke specials, they do not add fillers. There's a good amount of toppings, and it's a good sizable portion. Fish is decently fresh. Definitely come in for them. Wings are okay, but they aren't the best that I've had. If I was in the area or happy hour crawling again, this would definitely be one of my go to spots.

It's tucked away from the rest of the bar with plenty of seating, so we could all sit comfortably and rest our feet after being in heels all day. We had a $1k minimum bar tab spend, which we easily met with about 30 of us having at least one drink. Bonus points for having a men's room, women's room, and two unisex stalls! I ordered a matcha martini since I really needed a little caffeine to sustain myself through karaoke afterwards as well, and it is now one of my favorite cocktails. Super creamy with the delicious notes of pineapple and coconut, and you can't really taste the alcohol (just the way I like it). Half our table ordered one after trying mine! Made it just in time for the happy hour, which was $2-$4 off the original price and ordered even more items. The deviled eggs had four pieces(2 kinds), the bacon marmalade was rich and flavorful and the smoked salmon was quite salty. The calamari misto was lightly battered and I loved that it came with a mix of artichoke heart, shrimp, calamari, onions, and jalapenos. I could taste the umani of the duck fat fries. The uni pasta got the creaminess down, and the squid ink pasta was cooked well, but the uni flavor was very light and the flavors weren't as bold as I had expected. The prime rib was tender and the sides were decent. The chefs amuse bouche and the churro were the cherry on top for the prime rib special. With everything that was ordered, I was worried that I didn't have enough table space, but all the items were spaced out enough to fit everything a the right time. The Fermentation Lab is the perfect place for a date for those that appreciate a lovely atmosphere, welcoming service, vibrant drinks and beautifully plated dishes. I probably wouldn't come for just the prime rib special, but I would love to try other items on the menu. I wasn't expecting any screens, but they had two projectors and a tv playing the USA vs Bosnia World Cup game so that was a pleasant surprise!
