They use a lot of matcha in the latte and in the foam, you can adjust sweetness, and they have so many fun drinks on the menu that you will have a hard time choosing. Decent matcha, sweetness is on the less sweet side and please do not order the black sesame latte with boba with 0 % sugar. I made a terrible mistake by thinking the boba and the black sesame foam might be sweetened but it came out super unsweetened. I regret not having like 50% sweetness. It honestly tasted like herbal tea. The staff stood behind the counter making drinks so there was no interaction with the staff. Great matcha, but horrible ethics. Just finished ordering a matcha when I overheard a customer say out loud, "Wow, I really love the music here!" The owner/employee said, "Oh, thank you! It's AI! It's 2026, gotta do it!" Do any of the thousands and thousands of bands, songs, and albums made by actual human soul and creativity not suffice? Are you that soulless yourself? SF is unfortunately being bombarded by AI and tech, but as a small business...why??? Why??? This just makes it so sterile, uninviting, and overly gentrified. Came here on a Sunday afternoon & it was pretty busy. Ordering is easy, on a kiosk (I wish there was an option to order with a person though too, sometimes only having kiosk option feels impersonal). $8.50 for one drink (got a strawberry matcha) with no modifications which seems normal for SF but is still pretty pricey. The drink was tasty! I'm no matcha expert so hard for me to comment on that flavor profile but the drink itself was good. Came here on a Saturday afternoon and there's was not really a wait. My friend and I both got the Strawberry Matcha Latte (which by default comes with matcha foam). Initial sip was good, but after a few sips we noticed it's a bit thick. Definitely not the kind of drink to get when you're quenching of thirst. The strawberry puree was good but quality of matcha was the biggest con. Even before trying the drink, I could tell the matcha had a very DULL color (the one you get when either the matcha expires or when it's been too exposed to oxygen causing quality to lower exponentially). This was most disappointing because this gave the very bitter metallic aftertaste with every sip. For a shop that specializes in matcha, I hope they take quality into account more when making their drinks. My absolute favorite spot for matcha/drinks in the city! I feel like this spot is so underrated. I've tried a number of their drinks (matcha, hojicha, ube, black sesame lattes) and have thoroughly enjoyed each one. I really appreciate that they have hot/cold options, many milk choices, and options with no caffeine. The drinks can take a while to come out at times, but the service is always incredibly friendly. My only wish is that there would be more seating inside, though during the warm parts of the day/year the tables right outside are lovely to sit at to enjoy the drinks and do some people watching. read more

Since it was hot with the sun was out in the city I got the purple yam the Ube ice cream not on a cone but on a croffle ( part flakey croissant and waffle in SF). The Ube ice cream was not too sweet and was tasty and the croffle was soft and a bit crispy. I then had to wash it down with a refreshing Matcha Mango Latte with foam. The matcha was delicious and hit the spot . Now the only thing to consider next time is which nearby park spot I should hit to enjoy a Matcha. Will it be Dolores Park or Duboce Park or Noe & Beaver Community Garden ?( Questions in my Mind). While my friend and I were ordering, the cashier was having slight difficulty understanding my request for a matcha latte with boba, and my friend's request for a mango matcha latte. Enjoyed an iced matcha latte to-go from Oishii Matcha. As I walked in I was greeted and waited in the store, the store was very clean and aesthetic. I soon got my drink and left. My drink didn't have too much ice and the matcha to milk ratio was (in my opinion) phenomenal. The matcha was smooth and had very nice bold earthy notes. After having a disappointing experience at a different matcha spot in Berkeley, we decided to drive over the bridge to give Oishii a try. Being that we both love matcha and trying out new places, we thought this would be a great spot to hit before dinner. But be aware, there is limited space to sit down. Only a small bench inside and 2 tables outside. I got the matcha latte and my friend got the strawberry matcha latte. Tbh, both were not great. Neither tasted like matcha, it really felt more like we were drinking oat milk with a hint of matcha. They didn't ask for milk preferences, so I think their default is oak milk. The strawberry matcha was better than the original, but was way too sweet for my preference. For a scale, I'm usually one to order 50% or less at all bubble tea and matcha spots. Although the staff was super nice, this isn't a spot we see ourselves going back to unless it's for their soft serve. We tried the matcha soft serve and it was really solid. Stopped by for morning matcha and hojicha with a friend who lives in the area. Oishii is truly oishii! And for the tea lovers who truly drink with 0% additive/extra sugar, they truly don't add anything else. Their menu is pretty approachable, you choose your tea base, and there are options from floats (with soft serve) to black sesame to boba. I can never pass up boba, so I went for the hojicha boba. Hojicha was def more umami compared to matcha, on the bitter end, but still very flavorful and floral. Service is with a smile and the shop itself is small, not on the same level as Matcha Cafe Maiko or Maruwu Seicha or the South Bay's Izumi Matcha. BUT they do hold their own as a neighborhood matcha spot. I like that they gave a good chunky amount of hojicha to milk ratio. They also sell croffles and crepes, but I can def see them adding on other items like Japanese matcha tins or savory bakery items. Seating is pretty minimal, there's a few spots inside and a small steel two-seater table outside, but it's really more of a takeout spot. Ordered online on Sunday afternoon for an Ube Matcha. The store is super cramped, but the workers are super friendly and gave out samples of their soft serve! I got the Ube Matcha 25% sweet. I'd recommend to get 50% or 75% if you like your drink on the sweeter side. I wasn't the biggest fan of the matcha, but I think it's my fault for assuming the ube would sweeten it more than it did and getting 25% sweet. It's claimed to ceremonial grade matcha but I suspect it's not since the matcha is bitter. Even the matcha soft serve has a slight bitter flavor. The matcha soft serve has a strong matcha flavor with some bitterness too it. The mango latte does not taste sweet enough and also bitter. There isn't much of a place to sit and enjoy the desserts and drinks. I think they need to provide more space for patrons to enjoy their ice cream. A little gritty but that is to be expected with sesame seeds. You can adjust your sweetness. I did 50% and I think I should've done more. Overall a good try.
