First time. Finally was able to pull over and grab a coffee. Normally, there is a line and now I know why. Friendly service, efficient staff, and quality drinks in a comfortable environment. Nice pastry options as well as other items to purchase including branded Fellows items, housemade syrups, and clothes. Overall, a great place for your caffeine fix

Amazing matcha! I wasn't expecting a ton since it's a coffee shop but the matcha I got was so so good. I got the seasonal white peach matcha and it was the perfect amount of sweet, and the matcha was a beautiful vibrant green color. Latte art was beautiful too. The staff is also super friendly and the shop has overall great vibes.

I ordered a seasonal blackberry crumble latte. It was surprisingly delicious. This was my first time visiting and trying a drink it won't be my last. The homemade blackberry syrup was soooo yummy. The coffee flavor and mixture was perfect. I enjoyed every last drop of it. The cafe itself is small but there is enough seating for around 5-6 people. They also serve pastries but were out by the time I got there.

The only thing I got to try here was their hot rose late, iced honey latte, and iced vanilla pine latte. And honestly I've had better coffee. I'd recommend the vanilla pine latte, that was good! Everything else was average but they make everything themselves which is pretty cool and their merch is high quality.

Cute little coffee spot located inside of a very busy sandwich shop. It only took a couple minutes to order, and right after I ordered, my drink was immediately ready. I ordered an iced vanilla latte. It was pretty good! It's on par with all of the upper middle rated coffee places in sf. It's a great place to grab coffee if you're in the area.

they moved to a standalone, more spacious store with a beautiful rebrand! love the vibes and the seasonal lattes they still offer, as well as the punchcards for their regulars. the staff are sweet and chatty, and the earl grey latte is delicious!

Very cool coffee spot next to a sandwich joint in a garage... love that you can buy some caffeinated bevvies and take them for a stroll in the park. Totally the SF vibe on a hilly street and people outside... the folks working the stall were okay - did their jobs and had service with a smile. Definitely a place worth stopping by to have a nice something in hand when visiting Alamo Park

I've been literally blown away. This is genuinely one of the best matcha and coffee lattes I've tried in a while. You can truly taste the matcha and coffee without it being too sweet or too bitter, and overall it was super yummy. It's a little shop, so if there's a line don't be discouraged, it'll go by fast. The baristas were so nice and patient while I was deciding what to order. I couldn't recommend this place enough!

After a few days exploring San Francisco, I can confidently say Third Wheel Coffee was the best coffee of the trip! Tucked inside a small deli shop, it has a cozy, quaint vibe with super friendly service. Bonus: dogs are welcome, so we even got to meet some of the regulars (the four-legged ones). We ordered from the Seasonal Specials menu. The Fig & Honey Latte was one of the best lattes I've had in a long time, balanced, rich, and just sweet enough. The Pistachio Rose Matcha was equally impressive, with the perfect matcha color and a floral, nutty flavor that wasn't overly sweet. Both drinks were beautifully crafted and memorable. If you're in the area, don't miss Third Wheel Coffee. It's a true hidden gem.

I stopped by for a black sesame matcha latte ($7) on a cold day and appreciated the kind and quick service. The flavor of the latte confused me though because it didn't taste like black sesame and the matcha flavor wasn't as strong as I would've liked. My sister tried it too and agreed that the black sesame flavor wasn't representative. It was still a pleasant drink, but not what I was expecting. There are such great reviews for this place though that I'd be willing to come back and try more drinks.

Hidden little gem with a laid back vibe. Came in for our morning drinks before starting our day. The staff were friendly and everything came out really quick. Drinks: blackberry latte, cortado, mocha latte, and iced matcha Pastries: Ham & Cheese croissant and passion fruit kouign amann Recommended if you want something quick to go.

TL;DR Charming takeout-only coffee spot near Alamo Square with friendly staff and creative drinks. Loved the blackberry crumble latte and pistachio croissant, though the berry flavor could be stronger. Great for grabbing a cozy drink before heading to the park. --- Me and some of my friends were looking for a coffee shop around Alamo Square Park, and we decided to come here due to the impeccable reviews they have been receiving. It's a really small place that shares a space with a sandwich shop. Be wary that this place has no seats or lounging areas, but no worries since the park is super close by and you can enjoy your coffee there. Once ordering, the staff was really nice when I was asking questions about the different coffees they had, though I was quite inquisitive. I settled on one of their seasonal offerings of the blackberry crumble latte and the pistachio chocolate croissant. The coffee came out super quick, and I thought the latte tasted great especially when paired with the pastry, though I will note I had trouble tasting the blackberry component. Maybe this could be enhanced to allow for that contrast. The story of this cafe on how they opened was cute and was apparent in how caring and lovely the business was. I could really feel the love and joy they put into their business and into making each cup. I would definitely consider checking this place out if you're near the area.

Do not get an iced matcha. While the drink looks really green, it's only tasted like milk. I had a bad feeling once I saw the matcha wasn't freshly made. It was in a squeeze bottle that they poured into a cup then added milk. Regrets.

The lady that I was watching was there for the matcha and I can understand why now. We tried the Yuzu Matcha Air Cloud and a Caramel Latte because I felt like we needed to try the coffee since it's a Coffee shop though I have to say I was not a fan of the coffee. We arrived just before the line outside started to form. There's seating available inside with a couple of people that seemed to be working. We originally sat in the middle section with the small round table that can't be moved but then a table opened up. There's a gender neutral restroom available that always seemed to have a line though I guess that's what happens at coffee shops. ~~Service: Good. It was quick to order and surprisingly very quick to receive our drinks as well. ~~Best Part: The Matcha. The coffee was a bit too bitter but it could be due to the fact that I do prefer to drink dark roasts. ~~Worst Part: Nit though maybe it's just me where we were expecting there to be a trash at the entrance so that we could throw away our cups as we were leaving but I guess there's no room for the bins at the beginning so you have to walk to the back towards the restroom to throw it away. ~~Tips: Get the matcha. I wanted to get the velvet but it looked so basic compared to the Yuzu matcha air cloud. The Yuzu flavor itself was refreshing in the foam form but I'm very basic when it comes to flavors and shouldn't have mixed the foam in because it was messing with me. ~~Return: Probably not. I wanted to check the receipt because somehow 2 drinks was nearly $20 but I realized there wasn't even an option to get a receipt.

I thought it would be similar to like a Hawaiian style latte with macadamia milk, but it was a lot lighter than I thought. It was definitely very nutty, but it also just tasted like water down latte. Honestly not much going on with the drink, but it does taste lighter in general. Crazy have to pay $1.50 more to add on this milk. Overall, its alright. Didn't realize the rose latte would come as a hot drink but it was still good. Opted for less sweet but was a little more sweet than expected compared to the Yemeni latte. My friend and I sat at the counter basically in a staring contest with the woman behind the counter, who just stared right back. After some 30 seconds, we finally flagging her down to place our order. After turning around the drinks suspiciously quickly, my friend and I sat down to catch-up in the empty cafe. Before long, the barista pumps up the volume, increasing higher and higher every 5 minutes or so, as if to signal to us that our time was up. I asked her to turn down the volume, which she tuned down from an 11 to a 7, but minutes later it continued to creep up, like the snooze setting of an alarm clock coaxing you to wake up - except in this case, to get out.
