Earl Grey Tea Mille Crepe Cake
    Rita W.

I've actually never been to Sweet Glory's storefront, but have enjoyed many of their crepe cakes from amazing people bringing them over for family events. Sweet Glory's cakes are beautiful, not too sweet, super tasty, and tastes as what it says. They have the standard crepe cake flavors, and some others such as Durian. I didn't think I'd enjoy Durian based on my experience with the actual fruit, but the cake itself was pretty tasty after getting over the scent. I loved their earl gray crepe cake. Nicely textured cream and perfect consistent thin crepes. Their matcha one was really good as well. Whenever someone brings a cake from Sweet Glory, I just instantly light up as I know it'll be so so goood. Not cheap, but it's a well built and tasty crepe cake, so don't expect that to be cheap. :)

Brief Summary: - New favorite place to eat mille crepe cake - Not so sweet, easy to eat - Beautiful and peaceful interior - Near the MUNI N line I was looking for a new cake place to try, so when I searched for one in San Francisco, this one appeared in the first page. It was near the districts I like to go, and because I haven't been there in a while, I thought it was a good opportunity to visit here. This cake shop is very close to one of the MUNI line stops if you take the N line. The store had a sign propped up with the list of the mille crepe cakes and some of the chiffon. The basque cheesecake selection were not one there, so I assume that these are new items. The interior of this shop is so cute. It's as if I walked in a quaint early spring environment. The initial plan was to buy the cakes to take home, but I was now interested to stay to have a drink before buying the cake. There were seats in the further end of the building, so we sat there, relaxed while drinking coffee. I ordered 3 different cakes of different flavors - earl grey mille crepe cake - pandan chiffon cake - tiramisu basque cheese cake If someone asked me which one I liked the most, I would take time deciding because I loved all of them. All of them were not so sweet and also easier to eat; even the basque cheesecake. I showed the basque cheesecake photo to my colleague, and they were surprised: 'it's almost like having 2 cakes in 1!' was the memorable response to it. I also loved the mille crepe cake. This one left a fun and colorful impression of crepe cakes. I got the earl grey and I loved how it was almost like drinking an earl grey tea at the same time. I tasted the bergamot oil from the tea. I also liked how the crepe cake was overall moist and juicy (I wonder if it's because I chose a tea themed crepe cake?) I love the chiffon cake, and this also topped with the bias of me loving pandan. I was also surprised that the cream area was not just cream but packed with coconut meat. It gave a nice chewy flavor in between the cushion soft cake layer. The cake top decoration is so subtle yet gorgeous, it's a great cake to serve on celebrations too.

Pickup order for crepe cake slices to take back home. Many Asian inspired flavors which we love. - tiramisu mille crepe cake - passion fruit mille crepe cake - pandan coconut mille crepe cake - japanese sesame basque burnt cheesecake - hazelnut chocolate mille crepe cake Favorites includes the passion fruit mille cake and the black sesame burnt cheesecake. Passionfruit had a bright flavor that made it feel "lighter" as a dessert. The layers on all the cakes were very discernable, especially texturally. The taste of each cake was very fresh and abundant, being true to the flavor.

I was a little confused on the menu. The drinks were very good. The tiramisu was good as well. I feel like the service could have been better. They weren't very friendly or helpful. The shop itself was very clean and well kept. We definitely liked our drinks. The Matcha was my favorite. I will definitely try this place again.

Expensive, but cute and tasty pastry shop and cafe. They have tons of fun Asian flavors of crepe cake and basque cheese cake. They also have a fun salted egg yolk latte which I thought was very tasty. I tried the roasted corn cheesecake which I really enjoyed! Good texture and thought the corn flavor paired very well. One drink and one slice of cake came to $20 so it's not cheap! But a fun treat

We stopped by after dinner at a nearby restaurant because I've been wanting to try one of these crepe cakes. We bought 2 of them to go at $12 each. They put them in really cute boxes. The cafe is clean and bright and staff was friendly. We thought about dining in but the one available table was dirty and no one had wiped down the food stains, so we decided to take the desserts home. I thought the hazelnut chocolate was OK. The nuts were not fresh and crunchy. I liked the tiramisu much better but it's not in anyway better than a real tiramisu cake. It was interesting to eating thin layers of pancakes nicely frosted with cream. It is obviously a labor of love to make. There's a lot of different flavors but I'm on the fence about trying another one.

Pricey for a cake but worth it for the vibes, ambiance, instagram reels etc. I got the Ube crepe cake which was delicious, not too sweet and yum. Got the Pandan cream for my sister which she really enjoyed. The cakes are presented in a beautiful way with very attentive waiters and waitresses. I was in and out in 10 minutes. The back area looks like a vibe to sit in and talk too. Will be back on a special occasion, $26 for two slices is very steep.

Sweet Glory has a wide variety of specialty mille crepe cakes and basque cheesecakes. I've tried a handful of flavors and enjoyed all of them. My favorites are the Pandan Coconut, Japanese Sesame, and Ube. The crepe cakes are really fluffy, and the basque cheesecakes are quite dense and filling. The workers are very kind and welcoming and bring your orders out pretty quickly. The seating area is really cute, and you are able to sit outside as well (the ambiance is great, but I wouldn't recommend sitting outside during a cold day). I really love this spot and I'm excited to continue to try more flavors!

Sweet Glory on Inner Sunset is a dessert café that specializes in crepe cakes, Asian-inspired desserts, and tea-based drinks. We walked into a cozy and relaxed space with a cute interior and a surprisingly nice back patio area that makes it feel like a hidden escape from the busier streets outside. The layout is comfortable and inviting, with plenty of seating that works well for catching up with friends, taking a break, or spending some time with a drink and dessert. The patio is probably the best place to sit when the weather is nice, offering a quieter, more open feel than the main indoor area. The main highlight is the crepe cakes. We ordered a few slices and found the layers thin, delicate, and stacked with enough cream to make each bite feel rich without being too heavy. The variety of flavors is where Sweet Glory stands out, with options like matcha, ube, pandan, earl grey, durian, and tiramisu giving the menu a more unique direction compared to traditional cake shops. The matcha crepe cake had a clean, earthy flavor that balanced well with the cream, and the ube version offered a sweeter, more dessert-forward profile. The Asian-inspired flavors are what make the café feel distinct, especially for anyone looking for desserts that feel familiar but still creative. The drinks are also worth pairing with the cakes. We tried a matcha latte and a hojicha tea, both of which complemented the desserts well and felt thoughtfully prepared. The matcha was smooth and balanced, and the hojicha had a deep, roasted flavor that paired naturally with the sweeter crepe cakes. The menu has enough variety for both coffee and tea drinkers, and the combination of a slice of crepe cake with a warm tea or iced drink makes the experience feel more like a café visit rather than just a dessert stop. Service is straightforward with counter ordering, and the overall vibe feels casual and welcoming. The staff are friendly and patient, and the pace of the visit stays relaxed even when the café gets busy. The space has good music and a comfortable layout that works well for relaxing or getting some work done, and the back patio adds another layer to the experience that makes the visit feel more complete. Sweet Glory is a great dessert café for anyone who enjoys creative cakes and a calm café setting. The variety of flavors, quality of the crepe cakes, and hidden patio make it a spot worth visiting, especially when you want something more unique than a standard bakery dessert. The balance of a well-curated menu, a comfortable environment, and a peaceful outdoor space makes it a place that rewards lingering and returning to try different flavors.

If you love cute, calm, aesthetic cafes, this is the perfect place! My partner and I came here after dinner nearby for a small dessert. There was a large selection of crepe cake slices to choose from - almost couldn't decide which one, they all looked so good. We went with the matcha red bean option. We sat at the table near the shop front, in front of the window (which is kind of a fun spot - we felt like we were part of the shop display because pedestrians kept walking by and looking at our food lol). The matcha cake was yummy - not too sweet and had a great balance of cream and cake. I would get it again, and also try one of their other many flavors. Would definitely recommend!

Oh my goodness! So good. This has become one of our favorite dessert places. Their basque cheesecakes are amazing. Light, creamy and not too sweet. Their Millie Cakes are really good, too. Can't go wrong with any flavor, it's just hard to pick one favorites. The service is friendly. The place is clean and decorated beautifully. Also very comfy. They have these paper puzzles, crossword sheets for adults. Fun to do while enjoying their treats and drinks. If you do take out, they box your treats in beautiful boxes that are gift-giving ready. Located on 9th Ave and Irving.

Stumbled into Sweet Glory while craving a treat and was truly blown away. There are tons of flavor choices. They offer crepe-style cakes and cheesecakes that are absolutely to die for, all with beautiful presentation. With so many options, you're guaranteed to find something you love. You order at the front and then seat yourself. The space is pretty large, with an extra-large room in the back. I also loved the Christmas décor! Very cozy and festive :) I ordered the Earl Grey and the Biscoff cookie crepe cakes. Both were great, but the Biscoff was AMAZING. I can't wait to come back and try more.

I definitely feel like the team implementing the 7:45AM start time to line up has helped a lot. Not only is it better for the neighbors, but it also makes the whole experience feel a lot less chaotic compared to showing up super early and scrambling to get in line. Everything feels much calmer and organized now. As for the pastries: To be honest, it really depends on what you like. I'm one that gravitates towards pretty much anything with meat and chocolate. Because of that, most of their savory/meaty and creamy pastries are always a must for me. They're super flaky, flavorful and decadent. You can really tell how much time and effort they put into making everything as high quality as possible, especially since you can see them making everything from the window while waiting in line. All in all, I think there's been a lot of improvement over the past year with some trial and error. Their pastries have always been delicious and I personally think it's worth the wait. I recommend getting to the area closer to 7:45AM so you have a better chance of being towards the front of the line. If not, it's still better to come before opening, I just wouldn't recommend getting there right before they open. By then it's not guaranteed that you'll get everything you want since they do run out depending on how many people are there.
