Aesthetic cafe! I'm glad they opened in the inner sunset area. I've always wanted to visit but was not a fan of their old location. We got the passion fruit mille crepe cake and a lychee rose cooler. The food and the drink were so aesthetic for photos! The crepe was thin and delicate and the passion fruit gave it a zesty and tangy flavor. The lychee drink was really refreshing, but a bit pricy for what it is.

If you love cute, calm, aesthetic cafes, this is the perfect place! My partner and I came here after dinner nearby for a small dessert. There was a large selection of crepe cake slices to choose from - almost couldn't decide which one, they all looked so good. We went with the matcha red bean option. We sat at the table near the shop front, in front of the window (which is kind of a fun spot - we felt like we were part of the shop display because pedestrians kept walking by and looking at our food lol). The matcha cake was yummy - not too sweet and had a great balance of cream and cake. I would get it again, and also try one of their other many flavors. Would definitely recommend!

Cafe that's now one bookmarked in my mind for SEATING, AESTHETIC INTERIOR, GOOD DRINKS + SWEET CAKE BITE I have tried the HOJICHA LATTE (good, simple, clear flavor!) THAI TEA (not too sweet which is a huge plus!) MATCHA HONEY EINSPANNER (good creaminess and flavor, couldn't taste a honey flavor though) and PASSIONFRUIT REFRESHER (not too sweet and refreshing pick-me-up!) There are lots of seating options in the back area and an extra patio further back with a few more seats!! More reliable to trust that you'll get a seat on your own or up to a group of 3-4 parking is wayyyy difficult in this area on the weekends and especially at nights. There is a nearby lot though right on the block if you get lucky! Meters are M-Sat daytime I also found out the inconvenient way that Fridays and the weekends they ask not to have laptops and tablets out, so studying or getting work done online is not an option here. Will come back and try the cakes at some point!!

Oh my goodness! So good. This has become one of our favorite dessert places. Their basque cheesecakes are amazing. Light, creamy and not too sweet. Their Millie Cakes are really good, too. Can't go wrong with any flavor, it's just hard to pick one favorites. The service is friendly. The place is clean and decorated beautifully. Also very comfy. They have these paper puzzles, crossword sheets for adults. Fun to do while enjoying their treats and drinks. If you do take out, they box your treats in beautiful boxes that are gift-giving ready. Located on 9th Ave and Irving.

Stumbled into Sweet Glory while craving a treat and was truly blown away. There are tons of flavor choices. They offer crepe-style cakes and cheesecakes that are absolutely to die for, all with beautiful presentation. With so many options, you're guaranteed to find something you love. You order at the front and then seat yourself. The space is pretty large, with an extra-large room in the back. I also loved the Christmas décor! Very cozy and festive :) I ordered the Earl Grey and the Biscoff cookie crepe cakes. Both were great, but the Biscoff was AMAZING. I can't wait to come back and try more.

Sweet Glory is a cute spot for picture-perfect slices of cake and drinks. You order at the counter and pick up your food there too. My friend and I ordered the Pandan & Coconut Mille Crêpe Cake, Earl Grey Mille Crêpe Cake, Lychee Rose Cooler, and a Matcha (or Hojicha) Latte... I forget which! The Pandan & Coconut flavor was light, not too sweet, and absolutely delicious. The slices are easy to share, but if you have a major sweet tooth, go ahead and order one for yourself. The interior is bright with lots of natural light, plenty of indoor seating, and there's also an outdoor patio in the back.

So delicious but a bit pricey for what it is. About $30 for both cakes. We ordered the pandan crepe and the sesame creme. The pandan crepe with the coconut cream and coconut chunks was definitely my highlight. Perfectly sweet and you can taste the hint of pandan but not too powering. The sesame was also good. Unfortunately, all the seats were taken in the inside on a Saturday night we had to stand there with our cakes until they opened up the back patio. The back patio was cute but extremely cold. They did have one heater which was used by another guest. We ate quickly and left.

5/5: Biscoff mille crepe cake: Of the many crepe cakes I have had, this one is probably the best, because the layers of crepe are very prominent. Flavor is great. At other bakeries, the layers are too soft and you can't really feel the multiple layers.

Lovely cafe with indoor and cute patio seating! There are plenty of crepe cake flavors to choose from. Went with the pandan coconut flavor and it was yum! Will be back for more

My friends and I were initially drawn into Sweet Glory by the impressive display of crepe cakes, but I was most excited to find the Japanese sesame latte on the menu (black sesame lattes still somewhat rare to find on menus). The cafe itself was very quaint yet modern, and there was plenty of seating in the back of the cafe and outdoors (good for when the fog rolls away). The pastry case dazzled with about a dozen varieties of crepe cakes and basque cheesecake in unique flavors that included ube, Earl Grey, sweet corn, and even durian (kept separate in its own case). I ordered the sesame latte, which at nearly $8 (with regular milk!) was definitely a special treat. After ordering, my friends and I settled in at a table, and our drinks and desserts were brought out to us. My latte was served in a smooth ceramic mug, which made sipping my latte almost feel like a ceremonial experience. The latte was smooth and creamy with just the right level of sweetness and sesame flavor. It would pair well with one of the crepe cakes, which I'll have to try on my next visit.

really lovely spot with delicious and unique asian inspired food and drinks! the vibes are nice -- they have free puzzle/crossword sheets you can fill in too. this time we only got the the melon oolong tea ($5.50) and came in a cute pot but got cold kind of quickly. I've tried the pastries/cakes at the tenderloin location and they're good but tbh overpriced

Very cute spot with lots of unique cake flavors. We got the corn basque cheesecake and passion fruit crepe cake and both were delicious and my favorite part is that it's not too sweet! There's seating inside and outdoor seating as well (with one heater) and the place was decorated for Christmas. Great place to catch up with friends over a sweet treat

I'm always hunting for spots like this because I have a weakness for those over-the-top, Instagram-worthy desserts that look like diabetes in a dish. Like most places in this genre, A Buttercup is small, modern, and minimalist with limited seating. If you plan to go, aim for off-hours unless you enjoy waiting in line for sugar. The decor is cute and trendy, perfect for photos if that's part of your dessert ritual. As they say, "you eat with your eyes first," and when it comes to presentation, this place definitely gets an A+. The desserts look stunning and set high expectations. Unfortunately, that's where things started to crumble. It's like going to see your favorite artist live. You've watched the videos, memorized the songs, and paid for the experience. But instead of the electric performance you imagined, you get someone lip-syncing and barely connecting with the crowd. That was this place in dessert form. We ordered the Mango Bingsoo on our first visit, and when it arrived, we were surprised by how small the portion was. The guy next to us even looked over and said, "Whatever that is, I'm getting that next time." He shouldn't have. The Bingsoo looked great but was bland, and the "snow" was more chunky ice than soft shave. The Thai Tea Roti was also not what I expected. It came with Thai tea ice cream and sauce alongside a roti that was fried to a crunch. Interesting idea, just not the best execution. The sauce and ice cream needed a stronger Thai tea flavor to balance the crispy roti, and the flavors never quite came together. Overall, A Buttercup nails the aesthetics but misses the flavor. If you're here for the photos, you'll be happy. If you're here for the taste, you'll leave with a full camera roll and an unsatisfied sweet tooth.
