Been wanting to try Postscript for the longest time especially since it's been called the "Erewhon of San Francisco" and have been curious about their drinks. I ordered the Berry Glow smoothie which I LOVED! It was perfectly creamy and fruity all at the same time. I would definitely get it again, but not too often since it is about $20+. I also want to try their food items as well! The girls who took my order were super nice and there was lots of seating and cute/interesting items to look at as they made my drink.
When I heard this place served smoothies that were similar to Erewhon's, I knew I had to try it out for myself. I got the Berry Glow smoothie and my coworker ordered the Blueberry Recovery smoothie. Honestly, both smoothies tasted really good and were refreshing but definitely not worth $20, though I get that the high price point is probably due to the pricier ingredients like avocado, sea moss, protein powder, etc. I quite enjoyed the busy and cozy ambiance and friendly service, it was a great setting to catch up with my coworkers over an afternoon treat. I'll definitely be back to try more of their coffee and grab a bag of their coffee beans! I'm glad I tried the smoothie but wouldn't order again.
I spent $17 on two drinks for them to be just milk with a bit of matcha and hojicha. (Only drinking it cause of what I spent on it)
I love the aesthetics and atmosphere of postscript! If they had more seating, I can definitely seeing myself working from the cafe area. The cafe drinks are okay, nothing mind blowing. Berry smoothie (erewhon dupe) is not worth the $20 but worth trying once. I don't love the matcha but I don't hate it. The breakfast sandwich is great! The line can be a bit long at times but the employees are always super positive and enthusiastic.

What a cute cafe, gourmet grocer, and shop with fresh flowers. Stumbled upon this place while walking around the Jackson proper. Glad we made a stop. Thought it was a stationery place because of the name. Had the apple matcha since they didn't have the advertised strawberry matcha latte. It was pretty good with the apple "essence". It was towards the end of the day, so the grab and gos were pretty slim. I loved the different gift items they had like candles, sprays, olive oils, chips etc.
Neighborhood coffee shop as well as marketplace. Perfect for grabbing a coffee, relaxing with friends or working. They have indoor and outdoor seating and it's such perfect space. I've only tried their coffee and pastries and it's always been perfect. The coffee is very delicious without even having to add syrups or sugar. Great service, very efficient.
My boyfriend and myself stumbled upon this cute coffee shop as it was walking distance from our hotel. It's a very bright and airy space with a good selection of prepared foods, coffee/tea, flower bouquets and savory items. There is a decent amount of seating throughout as well as a few outdoor tables. We ordered the breakfast burrito, a matcha, an iced coffee and a plain croissant. Everything was very good and the service was excellent! I'd definitely come here again the next time I'm in SF.
Came here as Postscript has been called the Erewhon of SF but ended up just grabbing a couple of grocery items, including the tinned fish and a chili crisp. Will need to come back to try one of their signature smoothies! It seems like this spot has blown up on socials which is why it's alway busy on a weekend but grocery wise, nothing you couldn't get at a Whole Foods or other specialty shops.
Postscript is a uniquely chic café with a tastefully designed style nestled in between Jackson Square and the FiDi. It has a nice array of plants and artisanal goods. There is a wide selection of lunch options available from a quick grab-and-go sandwich to handcrafted bowls and salads that you can order from the menu. Don't sleep on the pastries and breakfast items, the scrumptious Malted Chocolate Chip Cookie is one of the best that I have come across. Since it's a nice walk from my office, I have been coming here quite often. I usually order a Kids' Hot Chocolate (although it is no longer on the menu, you can still order it), and enjoy it outside on their metal green chairs or at the Transamerica Redwood Park nearby. I am no longer a child, but I find this $3 6-oz drink a perfect little treat for me when I need to take a break from work -- while also evoking a sense of nostalgia and being easy on my credit card at the same time. More importantly, I was compelled to write this review on account of my experiences with the incredible team at Postscript. The crew behind the counter has always been so kind and friendly, and I was amazed at how attentive the staff roaming the floor were -- as one of them wiped down my table within seconds of me settling down outside. Postscript has easily become my favorite café in the area. A refreshing oasis, on the outskirts of the sprawling corporate skyscrapers, that I look forward to returning to for more warm drinks and comforting moments.
I got the house-made chai with the house-made almond milk - it was delicious, perfect balance of spice and creaminess. Busy on a weekday morning but service was fast and friendly! And very cute interior with lots of seating.
The Erewhon of SF !! A cute boutique market / coffee shop. You'll find fresh foods like sandwiches and salads but also a limited selection of exclusive food products and decorative items. Their smoothies and sandwiches are great, although prices are elevated. Staff are very friendly and service is efficient. There is limited seating available but have not experienced it being overly crowded. Overall, a very positive experience and would give 5 stars if items were more reasonably priced. A spot definitely worth checking out if you feel like treating yourself!
What a lovely cafe and grocer! It is upscale, so everything is a little pricey, but you get access to a beautiful store full of gifts, like coffee table books, candles, spices, fancy pastas, chocolates and more. All fun to peruse after you order from the cafe in the back. It's larger than it looks from the outside because a giant display shelf splits the space in two. This is plenty of seating: Window-front barstool seating, 3 large communal tables with barstools, and tables outdoors. There is one single-stall unisex bathroom indoors, accessible via a code. It's also relatively quiet here. For food and drink, they have a variety of coffee beverages, smoothies, and delicious pastries from Craftsman & Wolves. They also have ready-to-go meals and snacks in the fridge and coolers. I order with my phone number to earn points in their loyalty program, which is powered by the Local by Toast app.
One of my favorite cafes in FiDi. I like the vibes here. Mostly ample seating, except when it gets super busy. I usually get their grab and go items and enjoy them inside. The salads are fresh. I've also had the pesto pasta salad a few times. Only thing is I believe the pesto is made with pistachio and arugula, but not any basil. I much prefer pesto made with basil. I mean, it's not really pesto if it's not made with basil. At least not in my book, and I think most Italians would agree. The Roasted Salmon Filet was a bit on the dry side, but they do use loch duart salmon My friends like their coffee, but I can't personally speak to that. It's definitely not inexpensive, but you're probably paying for the location, and I must admit I always just like hanging here. The main downside for me though is the VERY limited street parking in the area. No fault of the business, just fact. read more
SF's erewhon! Pretty aesthetic grocery shop with less selection than erewhon. They also have $20 smoothies and I tried the Berry Glow, which is great for skin health and has strawberries, almond milk, maca powder, mct oil, maple, avocado, yogurt, dates, coconut cream & sea moss gel. The consistency was really thick and creamy, but just at a steep price point. read more
I came to Postscript on a Thursday afternoon, and the store was packed. They have a fair amount of seats and tables, but all of them were full, which was surprising for a weekday. I ordered the Orange Blossom Matcha, which I would not recommend. It was pretty expensive at $8+, and it was incredibly milky. I couldn't taste the orange blossom or the matcha; it really just tasted like straight milk. Considering the price, I would likely not get it again. The service was curt but efficient. Overall, I don't think this place is worth checking out--there are better options elsewhere. read more

Came here after a fly fishing event! Nice and convenient to LOST COAST (fishing store, check them out). First time there, so not too familiar with parking situation, not so good! Beautiful cafe! Entered with gorgeous flowers in the front with lots of merch and others food items. Services were fast, and welcoming. I ordered a drip coffee so nothing too special, definitely good beans. They have good looking unique pastries, didn't buy any, so can't review on that! GOODLUCK. read more

I wanted to hate this smoothie so bad because it's $20...but it was so good . The interior gives off Trader Joe's if they had a café chain. They had a little corner where they sold bouquets and had a water station filled with a bunch of veggies/fruit. At the register they had Aseop lotion-like whatttt! Def not within my tax bracket but was a fun 1st/last time experience. read more

Stunningly stylish cafe with superb coffee and ambiance. Salads and pesto are delicious. Definitely check this place out if you're here in this beautiful district. It's honestly my favorite spot to go when the weather is lovely because you can hang out in the Redwoods under the Transamerica building. read more
Postscript is cute and quaint! Nestled in Jackson Square, it's a pretty little store to stop by in. I love the little trinkets and organic juices you can buy - so fun! The lady at the register was so sweet and thorough when going through the menu. I really appreciated that she took her time and made the experience really pleasant. I decided to grab the Berry Pink smoothie which is a local take on Hailey Bieber's erewhon smoothie. It was a blend of strawberries, avocado, mct oil, dates, maple syrup, yogurt, almond milk and maca powder. For $17, I found the smoothie to be too tart and bland for my liking. I thought that the maple syrup and dates would balance out the yogurt, but I'd prefer it a little sweeter. Additionally, my smoothie wasn't fully blended so I found avocado pieces at the bottom of the cup. I don't think I'd order again. I didn't have the chance to pick up the food but i was intrigued by their in-house roasted beans. I picked up Requiem and omg, it's been the smoothest and yummiest beans I've ever had! Notes of dark chocolate, marshmallow, and almond roca, I've found a new favorite. For my fellow espresso enthusiasts- please try this blend. I'll be back for the coffee beans but am interested to try out the other offerings on their menu. read more
This place is wild. I walked by over the weekend with my partner and it's very cute and vibey, and the vibes come at great cost. Literally. I'd seen their smoothies pop up on my Instagram, but the price point is insane. They range from $17-$20. I know a lot of the ingredients they include are pricey, but I just can't get behind this $20 smoothie trend. In addition to overpriced smoothies, they have a grab-n-go section where you can purchase one organic plum for.... $5. They also sell very cute wares and interesting chocolates, olive oils, spreads, etc. I think the move is to order a coffee beverage or chai latte (which is in range with standard prices) and enjoy the cute atmosphere for a bit. read more
Berry Glow: 4/5 it tasted like a regular berry smoothie but a little smoother, not as thick. It doesn't get stuck in the straw or at the bottom, so more of a liquid consistency Maca Cloud: 3/5 I didn't like this one as much but again the consistency is what got me. You can taste nuts and cacao, giving it a light peanut buttery taste with almond milk. Bought a couple of pressed juices which I felt like were reasonably priced and some rose. The market is adorable and has a lot of interesting products like coffee grinders. The cashier was so nice, she was so on top of it. And the guy, who brought out the drinks, was incredibly sweet. read more
Was pleasantly surprised by the shop. The shop is so cute and very aesthetic on the inside. Lots of places to sit and enjoy your food or drink. They had lots of ready to go prepackaged foods and drinks, coffee, tea and even alcoholic drinks. We ordered the berry glow smoothies which is supposed to be a dupe for the erewhon Hailey Bieber smoothie. We ordered and got our drinks quickly. The smoothie was delicious and not too sweet or tart but I do wish it was colder in temperature. The chocolate chip cookie was perfectly chewy and crunchy on the edges. Postscript is located in Jackson Square and has such a great collection of specialty items that would be great for gifts. They also have a cafe attached and a bunch of to-go items needed to breakfast/lunch. It kind of reminds me of Epicurean Trader on Union Street! It's my second time here, so it is a repeater on my list. First time, we got the maca cloud (which is my personal favorite) and the breakfast sandwich. Loved both and totally warranted a second visit. Second time, we got the berry glow and the marine layer. I liked the berry glow but some might find it too strawberry forward. I personally didn't like the marine layer since it was heavy on the pineapple flavor and not usually what I go for. But overall, I think these smoothies are a good once in a while treat (since they are $20 each!). read more
Stopped by here while in the financial district near China Town. I got there early before a line was too bad. And everything was super fresh. Had the chestnut croissant which was perfection. And also had their chocolate chip and double chocolate cookies, which were also terrific. This place is a legit home run. read more
Very expensive but aesthetic and cozy spot for fancy specialty groceries, coffee/smoothies, soft serve, and foods. I came during a weekday around 12 and it was filled with corporate people getting lunch and working. I got an Americano and it was fine! The wifi is strong and there's about seats for ~15-18 people (plus more outside). read more
First off I'm so glad this little grocery shop/coffee bar/restaurant opened up in FiDi! We needed a spot like this! Weather you're looking for a beautiful bouquet, salad dressing for home, or a lunch spot this place as it all! I ordered the Kale Cesar salad along with the oatmeal cookie. The salad was fresh and I loved the furikake on top of the avocado. The cookie was the highlight though! Super moist and filled with lovely items of coconut and cranberries. I'm giving this 4/5 solely because it's so expensive but you can tell the ingredients are too notch. Pro Tip: order online to skip the line! read more
Postscript is a small, ultra niche, coffee shop that provides customers with a variety of other edible goods including prepackaged salads, cheese boxes, wine to-go, and cold pressed juices. There is only one location, making this place even more special. Now, let's talk smoothies. The famous comparison of their smoothies is to those made famous by Erewhon in Los Angeles, however, the Postscript smoothies are healthier without all of the added sugars. At $20 they pack a healthy punch that, in my opinion, makes them worth it. I purchased the Marine Layer and I highly recommend it! Not only is it a pretty drink it's also very light and tasty. If you're looking for a smoothie that will wake up your senses and keep you feeling full in the morning then this is the one. I also purchased one of their $8 cold pressed juices and it was great. I like my cold pressed juices to have an expiration date of 2-3 days and that was a major driver is me getting one. Overall, I think they are good but they're small and could be packing a few more ounces to make them worth the price. In general, I think Postscript provides quality goods. The prices are not astronomical, they simply reflect the quality in their products. HIGHLY recommend. Tote bags $16 if you want a souvenir. read more

Great concept but the food wasn't easy to digest. We got a salmon bowl and teriyaki bowl each with added in avocado. 90% of the broccoli was burnt but they were kind enough to bring me a side of broccoli- it was 50% burnt but we ate around it. I liked my salmon but everything else was TOO hard to eat. The rice was soo hard from being too reheated and left out to dry, the chicken was soo HARD, the cucumber was the only digestible vegetables and we were grateful for that. Overall, we would not return here as there isn't anything else on their menu we are interested in trying. A very fancy new coffee shop on a fancy block with fancy stores. It's a big space so they also have some fancy groceries, though it's far from a grocery store. It seems like a good amount of their pastry case is outsourced to other local bakeries, but they do make some wonderful cookies in-house. Cranberry Oatmeal Cookie: Wow, what a surprise hit! Normally I'm very apathetic towards oatmeal cookies, especially if there is no chocolate involved, but this might have been my favorite item here. It was super gooey and had a lot of nice texture from cranberries, pumpkin seeds and probably other mix-ins. Nice spices too, just the right for a kick without overpowering. Plus they had a sporadic white glaze on top, reminiscent of the grocery store oatmeal cookies, but way better. The fact that it wasn't over the entire surface area was nice since you got bursts of sugar, but not too much. Malted Chocolate + Sea Salt Cookie: Fresh chocolate chip cookies, no matter how simple or how bougie, are a reliable favorite. I'm not quite sure what was malted about the chocolate, but it was delicious. Huge bits of chocolate that had that smooth warm out of the oven feel, though the cookie itself wasn't particularly warm, so maybe it was some ganache magic? Lots of chocolate too. House Made Banana Bread: The only ho-hum pastry I tried. Was kinda like the Starbucks kind. It was fine, good with coffee, but not wow worth. Affogato: Affogato is an espresso drink, so a great way to start the day! It just happens to be espresso poured over ice cream, but c'est la vie. Such a nice contrast between the bitter hot espresso shot and the cold creamy ice cream. They used soft serve, rather than a hard scoop like most places. This caused the ice cream to melt faster so it turned into like a milk shake real fast. Still tasty, but not the same experience as spooning a scoop of hard ice cream covered in espresso. read more

Stopped by Postscript for a quick treat and got an iced vanilla latte and a chocolate chip cookie. The latte was pretty standard--not bad, but nothing special. The cookie, though, was solid! The sea salt on top really elevated it and gave it that perfect sweet-salty balance. They also have smoothies, but at around $20 each, they're definitely on the pricier side. The vibe here reminded me a lot of Erewhon--trendy and upscale. Overall, it's a decent spot, but probably more of a splurge and a place to get high quality groceries. Most of the items were priced at a higher price than what you would find in a normal grocery store. read more

This review is only for the coffee, didn't give the food or anything else a try. The coffee was really bad though, which was surprising given that they roast their own beans. So burnt to the point of being practically undrinkable, just getting waves of dark bitterness in every sip. It's also quite expensive. My cortado was pushing 6 dollars which surprised me, and all the smoothie options were close to 20. There is a ton of seating both inside and out though! Definitely don't recommend just for the coffee! read more

Stopped in here when I was in the area because of how cute and aesthetic it was. I got erewhon vibes/prices/quality from here. If I'm ever trying to get a housewarming gift for someone, I'd prob stop here to pick up a nice bottle of organic tea in a wine bottle. read more
