Tried for the second time, the presentation of the açaí bowl was very pretty with the flower but the açaí bowl's fruit was not ripe at all and it was very overpriced. Nice that there is indoor and outdoor seating options and my iced latte was good.
I was walking through the area and wanted a smoothie. Avotoasty popped up on my search so I decided to check it out. The interior was spacious and there is seating inside and outside. Not sure if the air wasn't working but it was a bit warm in there and they had a fan going. Acai Berry smoothie (3/5): This smoothie had acai, blueberries, spinach, banana and hemp seeds. This was only okay. It was thick and creamy. I thought it would be more berry forward but it wasn't which disappointed me. My visit was okay. I didn't try anything else besides the smoothie. It was definitely pricey but that is a given because of the area.
Cute spot to get different renditions of Avocado Toast and some coffee/espresso drinks. Order on the kiosk and they have indoor seating along with a few tables outside. It wasn't too busy on a weekend for lunch. We got the Mexican Toasty which had corn and feta and lightly tangy dressing; and also the Salmon Toasty which comes with smoked salmon. Lots of fun options for the avocado toast lovers! We liked our drip coffee and cappuccino- they use good beans from Sightglass. They also make smoothies.

I ordered the Eggy Toasty which included 2 eggs which choice of poached or hard boiled eggs, paprika, salt and pepper, and micro greens. I wouldn't say the avocado toast here was exceptionally spectacular but I didn't enjoy the sourdough bread that came with the avocado toast. The flavor profile of the avocado kind of tasted more like guacamole. The price is pretty standard for SF prices but I'm not sure if i would necessarily come back for the avocado toast. Overall, staff members were very nice and service was quick. The design of the store was also very cute, clean, and felt "green" with some plants sprinkled in!
This is a great spot for breakfast in the Marina District. They have gluten free toast available for their avocado toast, vegan options, too. The staff is really friendly and the service is quick! We got there before 9am and there was plenty of street parking.

The avocado toast itself was decent - fresh and nicely presented, but for the price, I was expecting a bit more in terms of flavor or portion size. It felt a little underwhelming, especially considering how many avocado toast options there are in San Francisco. Overall, Avotoasty is fine if you're already in the area and want something light, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here again. It's cute, but for the price and experience, there are better options nearby. To their credit, they have an impressive variety though. Whether people want sweet/dessert style options or more savory options, they got you covered!
Such a cute drink! Worth the $25? Maybe not. The latte itself isn't one of the best but the pumpkin definitely gives it a real pumpkin taste. Would rather have made it at home myself.

I'm so glad they're thriving at their new larger space, that they've had for a while. Recently, my friend and I came by because we needed to sit down after walking the Union Street fair. I got an açaí bowl and it was delicious. I didn't need to add anything to it. The açaí was tart, the honey added a light sweetness along with the bananas and strawberries, and the oats had a good crunch. Also, I ate so much prior and yet the açaí didn't get me into that completely stuffed stage. What I also appreciate about the açaí bowl is that it's simple. I don't mind complicated orders, especially when açaí bowls are customizable. But having so many options can be crippling for me. I like that the base option is satisfying on its own and that they have just a few options to add. As for the toasts, they're yummy! I really like the caprese toasty, which comes with mozzarella, tomatoes, and a balsamic reduction. I love the sweet acidity from the balsamic paired with the fattiness of the avocado, which is always fresh. I get the egg toasty when I want something more savory. You can't go wrong with toast, eggs, and avocados, especially for a geriatric millennial such as myself lol. You got your carbs, protein, and good fats all in one. My only critique is that I wish the toast was thicker. I like a thick toast, especially with toppings such as mozzarella or salmon where a thicker toast would be a more satisfying bite. But in the end, I have to watch my carbs anyway. Speaking of which, that's the concept of Avotoasty - to provide nourishing and delicious food to the people. As for the space, it's bright due to the natural light coming in from their large windows. The decor is minimalist, but still inviting. It's a place where you can chat with friends or read a good book. So definitely check out this Hispanic woman-owned business if you want delicious toasts and coffee.

Tasted good but a bit expensive for a psl of that size even for SF prices. Pumpkin Spice Latte - in the pumpkin $24 (7/10): difficult to drink out of the pumpkin. Was definitely more for picture purposes. It tasted the same as the one in the cup, but had a larger portion size of about 2-3 cups worth. Food ordered: Egg Toasty (9/10): one of the better avocado toasts in the city and I love the way the egg is cooked. Caprese Toasty (9/10): also a very solid avocado toast. This and the egg are my go to each time I come! Overall I always love their avocado toasts, but def felt like their PSL was better for photos.

So far, I wasted minutes, even an hour or two trying to find a new dining place to check-in. Most of the places I pass through were high-end, especially Wildseed. I wasn't ready to go there for round two just yet. With less than $40 to spare, my idea finally popped into my head. And that's when I settled into Avotoasty, one of the women owned businesses! Hole-in-the-wall and all crisp white walls and ceiling, this vibrant café was one of the easiest to go to. Friendly, energetic staff and fair price equates good food and beverage on the table. Iced cold Arnold palmer and creative veggie toast; all fresh with a bread base that never falls out. Might come back again for either a salad or an açaí bowl. }:‑)
Update: There is indeed a single stall bathroom in the back for customers! Nice place to chill and work remotely from during the week.

I came here for a 415 Coffee Club meetup, and it was a PACKED event. It's not as spacious as their location in FiDi, BUT it lets in a lot of natural light, which more than makes up for it. I really like how Avotoasty provided their café as a sober third space to meet new people. read more
They moved buildings since my last review and this one is located down the street on a corner and much bigger. They are open later and now sell mimosas! I love sitting at the window table and people watching on bustling Union Street. This is a popular after yoga spot. Karma Studios, Pad Studios, and Yoga Flow are all only one block away. Avotoasty does pretty and inspirational seasonal lattes! The pumpkin spiced latte is in an actual pumpkin! You can take the pumpkin home and cook it later. The green whipped cream is so fun and festive for the peppermint mocha for Xmas. read more

I found Avotoasty on Yelp while looking for a quick, grab & go breakfast in the Marina. The interior was very white and minimalistic with plenty of natural light coming through the massive windows. We ordered on the digital kiosk and got 15% off as a Yelp check-in offer - so appreciated! My sister and I both chose the Salmon Toasty and my friend went for the Acai Bowl. I was a little disappointed that there was only one Acai Bowl on the menu, with the option to add ingredients for $2-3 each. While the digital kiosk was convenient, service was not as fast as we had expected. I'm not sure how long we waited, but I remember being surprised, considering how small their menu was. The Salmon Toasty was very tasty - fresh avocado, lots of capers. The Acai Bowl was pretty standard, but a little on the sweet side. Overall though, pretty good for breakfast! read more

I came here in search of a new working cafe. I may have been there during a busy time because there were no open tables. the bar in which i sat was pleasant for people watching but not comfy for a long afternoon. the smoothie was delicious, and i appreciate the decor of the toast. however small, it was quite flavorful. the cost of these two items neared $30, which seems pricey to still be hungry afterwards. overall decent, i would like to return again to grab a quick drink. read more

I saw a lot of hype around avotoasty as a lot of foodie ig accounts had posted about it. We tried the bruschetta toasty and the eggy toast. I love how many different avocado toast options there were - the unicorn toast sounds interesting but I don't love cream cheese enough to try it. The bruschetta toasty was yummy but I have to admit - the avocado toast here is certainly overpriced. I probably could easily make it at home. Portion sizes weren't that big either - it's like they chose small slices of bread. I felt satisfied after but I definitely still had space in my stomach for something else. Glad I tried it but for the price, not sure if I'd come back again. read more
I'm a millennial I will never be able to afford a house I like avocado toast I've walked by Avotoasty so many times in the past without stepping in and finally got to visit over the weekend. After a brutal workout nearby, it was only fitting that my friends and I pop in for some tasty "If Millennials Just Stopped Eating Avocado Toast They Could Afford Real Estate" fare. While eating avocado is indeed one of my favorite pastimes, it can sometimes trigger an itchy throat (hello, ragweed allergy), so I decided to play it safe and opted for a Breckie Toasty, which is coconut flakes and banana and strawberry slices over your nut spread of choice (I chose Nutella, because duh). The ordering system was really easy to operate and my food came out fairly quickly. The serving size was great for the price in my opinion - I couldn't finish my whole toast! It was a little tricky to eat, but that's because there was a generous amount of Nutella and fruit! read more

Yep, this is Pac Heights alright. What other SF 'hood would have a cafe dedicated to the creation and commerce of avocado toast? I was having my car serviced on Van Ness at 7AM because taking the earliest slot possible makes me think I'm not killing the whole day. Beyond the occasional sidewalk bicyclist, it was a becalming area for an early morning stroll, but not many businesses are open at that hour. Avotoasty opens at 7AM, so I decided to give it a try. It turned out they had ten different toasts (...excuse me, 'toasties') as well as smoothies and bowls, açaí ones too. Given the abundance of choices, I veered to the $9.25 Breckie Toasty because hey, it was 7AM. It was a little more desserty than breckie, but there was no argument (with myself, I guess) that it was delicious. On a thin slice of bread, they spread a good portion of nutella, my choice of three spreads they offered. They then topped it with slices of strawberries and banana and a sprinkling of coconut flakes (photo: https://bit.ly/3wXT8K2). There was a beautiful tropical blossom placed on top, but I had no idea whether it was edible or not and I was too embarrassed to ask. I noticed they have quite a catering business in full swing at that hour as delivery guys came in and out with great frequency. That's good since I was the only retail customer for the most part. Avotoasty seems too limited a name. How about Diversatoasty? Millennials rejoice! We couldn't ask for more than a brunch spot specializing in avocado toast. We went on a weekend around 1pm, which surprising was not too busy. When we walked in, we made our way straight ahead to the counter to place our order. The menu is displayed overhead with an extensive list of different avocado toast styles as well as acai bowls and drinks. Ordering was quick and easy and we made our way to a table while waiting for our order to be called. - prosciutto toasty The prosciutto toasty came out beautifully presented. The bread itself was well toasted, crunchy, and not burnt. There was a generous spreading of avocado and prosciutto, all topped with a beautiful flower. The taste was fresh, savory, and satisfying. They even provided us with a complimentary puppuccino for our dog, which was licked up quickly! The aesthetic of the restaurant is very clean. Lot of white, which is a perfect contrast to the food.
