I've been craving Brazilian cheese bread after eating one from a Brazilian steak house and this place definitely satisfied my cravings for it. Their Pao de queijo is a large enough portion where you can half it. Also tried their cheese waffles but it didn't have the same cheesy bounce that the pao de queijo has. But the dipping sauces was a great addition and paired even better with the pao de queijo. Might just order that on the side next time. Overall, the ambiance was very chic. Saw a couple dogs sitting on the floor with their owners so I'll choose to dine in the next time I bring my pup.

I came here because of the reviews, but now I'm questioning if we all went to the same place. After landing from my flight and walking down along the Fisherman's Wharf to see the piers, we stopped at Cafe de Casa for our first bite and a place to cool down. The interior is honestly gorgeous. There's a lot of seating and fun decor all around, and it feels like a place you'd want to sit and hang out for a while. The menu is displayed on the wall and offers Brazilian style cafe items like cheese breads, sandwiches, pastries, and specialty drinks like matcha, coffee, and seasonal beverages. Right away though, the service felt off. The workers came across pretty uninviting and seemed more focused on chatting with each other than interacting with customers, which is always a red flag. The prices are also pretty steep, which might be because of the location. I ordered the pistachio matcha and the Brazilian cream cheese sandwich. I don't like my matcha too sweet because I want to actually taste the matcha, so I asked for less sugar. Instead, I was told they'd just add less pistachio cream. The drink ended up being really disappointing. It tasted super flavorless and almost watery. The pistachio cream itself was nice and had real pistachio pieces on top, but it didn't save the drink. For almost $10, it just didn't make sense, especially when their regular matcha is around $7.60. Also, there were no prices listed for seasonal drinks, so you don't really know what you're paying until checkout. The cheese sandwich was good and warm, filled with that Brazilian cream cheese. It was enjoyable, but not something I'd go out of my way for again. It's about the size of a McChicken and priced at $7.60, which feels a little high considering there's no protein, just cream cheese. Overall, I'm not sure if this is just a tourist spot because of its location near the piers, but I left more confused than satisfied.

Delicious pastries, can't wait to try!

Another "Too Good To Go" find- and it was amazing, I want to return. First, this Brazilian cafe has the most beautiful sandwiches at incredible prices. I can't think of a spot where you can get a basic sandwich for $10 muchless these cheese bread sandwich beauties with salmon, Brazilian cream cheese, dried beef and shredded mozzarella or tomato, mozzarella and avocado. Or with Prosciutto di Parma, arugula, ricotta and fig jam. Ok, that'll cost you a bit more at $15 but you catch the drift. We received for our TGTG bag a box of three enormous savory and sweet pastries. One was filled with shrimp, another was a cinnamon sugar and the third disappeared so fast I just heard a mumbled "It's really good!" (thumbs up). Coffees, açaí bowls, crepes and delicious juice drinks, we need to return for a proper sit-down experience. Three locations at Fisherman's Wharf (Beach Street), Castro (17th Street) and South San Francisco. Service was very kind, it's an ideal spot to slow everything down and enjoy good food. Obrigado!

Love the cafe. Bumped into it while roaming on Fisherman's Wharf, very close to Ghirardelli Square. A Brazilian coffee shop offering pastries, desserts and coffees from Brazil. They have Caramel Flan, Brigadeiros, Cheese bread and various other brazilian faves. They also serve a Brigadeiro coffee which I ordered. It was cappuccino served in chocolate/condensed milk laced cup. So for sweet coffee lovers just a stir would do the magic. They serve it both hot and iced. The interiors are roomy and decorated with real plants all over the cafe. Loved the seating and menu choices. Must try when there.

I was looking for lunch options before a fleet week boat cruise but the area is pretty touristy. Not this place, it was gorgeous and delicious! There was a pretty long line at noon on a Saturday but it was moving at a decent clip. I ordered: - the cafe bombon drink: STIR BEFORE DRINKING. Otherwise the first sip will be bitter espresso, but the brigadeiro sauce is at the bottom which gives it the perfect bitter sweet balance - cheese waffles with brigadeiro (chocolate sauce) and doce de leite (a less sweet variation of dulche de leche). The "cheese" wasn't too savory and contrasted nicely with the sweet thick sauces. I may or may not have eaten the remainder of the sauces with my knife after I finished the waffles and these are gluten free! I need to come back to try the GF crepes and sandwhiches. Logistics: - indoor seating only - limited street parking nearby but several paid garages nearby - gluten free options in entrees (not pastries)

Absolutely loved this place! Great cafe close to Russian Hill/Fisherman's Wharf. I appreciated how organized they were with respect to ordering in person vs doing online pickup, especially on busier weekends. Prices were pretty reasonable. $10.50 for a large green juice that's fresh made was solid! I also tried. - Coxinha - objectively good, maybe not for me; if you aren't normally a fan of creamy pulled chicken, don't feel pressured to get this... - PDQ ham and cheese sandwich - simple but delicious - Enroladinho de Queijo - coconut bread stuffed with mozzarella cheese. This was my favorite! I love sweet and savory things. Altogether a great, spacious location to grab a drink and pastry in the morning.

In San Francisco you can enjoy the taste of Brazil while on a Beach ( not El Rio but Beach street in SF) . This place use to be a TGI Fridays(the stories) .Inside it feels like to you stepped into an urban amazon jungle as you stepped out of the concrete tourist trap jungle in SF. There are lots of plants inside to give it a natural ambience. This place has a little resemblance of the former Rainforest Cafe at the Wharf without the bells and whistles and minus the theatrics .You see and meet lots of tourist inside and some asking for drink and food recommendations in SF. The Cafe de Casa serves Brazilian classics like Pão de Queijo (Portuguese for cheese bread )and the Açaí with berries along with some empanadas. I usually enjoy trying the BBL (Brazilian Brigadeiro Latte). I tried the latest offering which is a hybrid of Dubai Chocolate and BBL (Brazilian Brigadiero Latte )and it's called the Dubai Brigadeiro Latte. The drink was not too sweet and chilled on ice. The drink also had the Dubai chocolate with pistachios on the rim on cup like a Margarita has salt on the rim. It was a pleasant surprise it was refreshing and gave me a jolt. The Casa de Cafe is an oasis if you want to have a personal reading session, study session, work session, or a squad yap session. After going to Pier 39 for the 7D ride for a "thrill"and lunch at the tourist trap called the Wipe out Bar and "Grill" I headed to the Beach ( street) across from Buena Vista Cafe a few blocks from "Russian Hill" for a taste of "Brazil" Casa de Cafe ( House of Coffee) where Chimichurri sauce "will spill" on empanadas with a "shrimp fill" while enjoying a "BBL" ( Brazilian Brigadero Latte) and the Dubai Brigadeiro Latte is so refreshing you want a " refill"

Awesome little Brazilian cafe located right in the heart of SF. Having been to this place several dozen times at this point, the vibes are super chill and the menu is plentiful. Nice little getaway from the craziness of the city.

Cute café near Ghirardelli Square with a great ambiance and delicious drinks. We didn't order food, but the egg sandwich looked really good. The guy at the counter was friendly, and the staff was quick to clear and clean tables. It is a bit pricey, but that's expected given the very touristy location.

It's not every day that I see a traditional Brazilian tapioca on the menu! I was so excited to try and the tapioca did not disappoint. I think they may have made the cassava crepe before and assembled it because it didn't seem made to order. I could totally be wrong but it was a ~little~ hard. Coxinha was excellent! Brigadeiros were delicious. Long line that moved quickly and friendly staff :) Next time I am in San Fran I will most likely go back. Very cute atmosphere, must say.

One of the best acai bowls I've ever had 5/5 Coffee 5/5 Very chill hipsterish ambiance A great rest stop or meet up spot Ample seating

L'Avelã (back) & Enroladinho de Queijo (front). $9.05 & $6.65, respectively. A bit pricey, but fresh!
    John N.

Cute cafe with tasty pasties & coffee. I tried the "Enroladinho de Queijo" (coconut bread with mozzarella) and "L'Avelã" (cappuccino made with Nutella). The bread was served warm and was fresh. The coffee was ok, could have been a touch stronger, but the Nutella made for a unique flavor combination. Total came to $17, which i think is a touch on the pricey side, but the location is also in a very touristy area, so it's understandable. Great space to work or hang out for a few hours, very open floor plan and spacious, comfortable seating.

    Carla K.

The acai bowl is fresh and pretty. There were so many people in line but it was organized and easy to navigate. The employees were managing the crowds well and very attentive and respectful. The seating is very comfortable and the area is spacious and modern. It's a great place to meet up with friends to enjoy Brazilian pastries and brunch.

    Pretty inside!

I thought it would be similar to like a Hawaiian style latte with macadamia milk, but it was a lot lighter than I thought. It was definitely very nutty, but it also just tasted like water down latte. Honestly not much going on with the drink, but it does taste lighter in general. Crazy have to pay $1.50 more to add on this milk. Overall, its alright. It had a very subtle matcha flavor, but I couldn't taste the grassiness. The sea green color was aesthetically pleasing when combined with the grassy matcha hue. As a drink, it is refreshing, but as a matcha latte, I felt there was too much milk, which drowns out the matcha flavor. 6/5 Kopi Klepon, Iced This was too delicious, I kept stealing sips from my partner (instead of drinking my own drink) and would order this one again. There was some coconutty sweetness, which added delicious complexity, and slight bitterness that pairs well with the sweet. In terms of flavor, this coffee drink rivals Vietnamese coffee. 4/5 Pandan Bolu This sponge cake-like pastry was springy and bouncy, with a medium green hue.
