Wow. Love having a bougie Brazilian cafe. All the desserts were delicious. Voted the pao de queijo sandwiches. The figo with prosciutto hit the spot. My partner ordered the bife and it was delicious and larger serving than I anticipated at a cafe. I didn't get a chance to try the coffee drinks but they all looked really good. First timer but I had seen this café on the maps and wanted to go sometime. I walked in on a Friday around 3 PM and it was semi empty. I ordered a roca de Coco because I'm a huge coconut fan and had seen on the reviews that a lot of people were ordering the doce de leite so I got one too. My bread roll came out very nice and warm and it went well with the coffee I chose. I just think that the coffee is already sweet so I probably should've focused on something either more savory or less sugary. I absolutely loved the Rosca de Coco and I would go back for more. This is a Brazilian café. This establishment is huge in terms of square footage and amount of seating. There are plenty of tables whether that be for 2, 4, 6 or 8 people; definitely a nice place to gather and it's close to Ghirardelli Square and pier 39. read more

Ok the acai bowls here are soo good!! I love how they're beautifully prepared and delicious. Definitely a go-to spot for acai in the city! Two tweaks that would make it better: - I wish the original bowl came with nut butter, it's always an addition - The acai comes with a sweetened syrup which you cannot remove from the base. GTG: they have scrupulous Brazalian pastries. I got 2 empanadas, one with tiny shrimp and creamy sauce (empanada de camarao) and the other i haven't tried. I got the fried coxiha: fried croquette. Unfortunately I found a hair at the very last bite. Both were very flavorful. The inside looked very inviting. Great location. Take the F to the end of Castro and then take the end back to Ferry. Parking must be on side streets, don't even try on 17th street. You will be stuck with the dead end. read more

This cafe is near home, so I visit fairly often. In general, the staff are really wonderful. Genuine, friendly, helpful. The food is good: an incredible selection, given its size. I like the Parma & Fig sandwich. The Passion Fruit juice is amazing. I get it every time. My only complaint (and therefore missing a 5-star review) is the chai, which seems to be consistently served lukewarm, and what I like least about it is it has an annoying grainy texture. Not sure why since there are no coffee grounds. I guess it's maybe a topping added? I guess I'll ask next time and ask them to skip it. read more

One of the best places to enjoy Brazilian food in the city is definitely Café de Casa. Since I discovered their flavors and textures, I've been hooked. Whenever I crave an enroladinho de queijo or a pão de queijo, I know I can find the best here. The service is excellent the team truly puts their heart into everything they do. Really cute spot! I got their iced dubai latte, coxinha, and rissole. They were out of the beef empanada the day I went. The Dubai latte was delicious, rimmed with chocolate had pistachios - so good but definitely pricey. For the pastries, I tried the rissole first which had beef and corn and there was so much filling inside which was amazing. It was good and made me full, but the coxinha was still sitting in front of me so I had to try the coxinha too. The coxinha had shredded chicken and had good flavor but I did like the rissole more. Service was great and the workers are friendly. Overall, a great place and I like how you can come here whether you want a pastry or a full meal. read more

I saw someone at the 24 Bus Stop with a green drink. Thought it was matcha but ...noooo...it's a green juice that's smoothie like! Cafe de Casa is your local Brazilian connection. Pastels or the equivalent Brazilian turnover/empanada and rolls with coconut (Yum)! I got that cold green juice (greens, pineapple & other fruit and coconut milk). Warmed up baked roll with mozzarella and guava jelly. Omg! Like what my granddad made when I was growing up. So fresh! The Café was packed with happy diners in couples and groups. Do yourself a favor, if you're in the area stop at Cafe de Casa and get a treat! This has become our regular stop whenever we visit SF and this location is such a cute little spot. They have indoor seating and a counter to order at. They always have a variety of items on display and they have some tasty sandwich options too. My favorites here are the Coxinha, and pao de queijo sandwiches and the passionfruit juice is an absolute must. If you're looking for something delicious and fresh this restaurant is a great choice. They do offer some frozen items that you can cook at home and while they're not as good as the restaurant, they're a great alternative if you live in Sacramento like I do. The staff is always friendly here and the food typically doesn't take too long, even when they're busy. read more

Pricey but very filling. It was $10.5 for an açaí smoothie. I wasn't too big of the smoothie as it was very room temperature for me, but the açaí flavor was good and mild. The inside seating and bathrooms are also very nice and there was plenty of community and sights to see in the neighborhood. Service was friendly. read more

I've come in a few times for coffee and pastries, lunch, studying and each time I'm happy with my visit. Just as every hot cafe in SF it tends to get busy so seating can be difficult to snag at times, but it's worth a stop. Everything I've had is good! We were driving to the airport and found this joint. I love açaí bowls and that's why we chose this place. Everything we ordered was delicious. The açaí bowls are spectacular. When it mixed with peanut butter, it really is the best thing ever. All pastries were great too. It's not in my culture, but i enjoyed trying all of it. The patio is so cute. I love seeing people who speak the language enjoy the food that reminds them of their childhood or home. The people are nice, and it was only one person working in the kitchen. Cafe de Casa happen to be relatively close to the area we were around today, so we opted to have lunch here. You can have a drink here, breakfast, light lunch, or a full meal. Whatever you want they got you covered. You order at the counter, they give you a number, and you can sit at any table is open. My partner got an Original Acai Bowl (16 oz), Pão de Queijo Bite, Coxinha, and Enroladinho de Queijo com Goiabada. For myself, I also opted for an Original Acai Bowl (16 oz) and a Empada de Frango. Food came quick! Our Acai bowls were served on beautiful bowls and it was aesthetically pretty nice. It came topped with banana slices, strawberry slices, blueberries, granola, and goji berries. It was pretty warm in San Francisco, so this really hit the spot for me, although the amongst all my Acai experiences, it's a pretty standard, basic bowl. Still good though. The Empada de Frango I had was pretty good too. I like that it's baked, and the chicken filling was saucey, but not overly saucey. Flavor was good as well. I sampled my partner's Coxinha, which had a similar filling to the Empada, but for the Empada, they added corn and green olives into the mix of ingredients. Between the Coxinha and Empada though, I'd probably recommend the Coxinha. I really liked the light, fine, crispy, outer layer. My partner enjoyed his meal as well, so we'll probably be back if we're around Cafe de Casa! read more

Cafe de Casa is a lovely Brazilian cafe close to the corner of Castro & Market (on 17th street) right where the F trolley begins its line onto Market. This makes is extremely convenient for peeps like me who take Muni in the area. The cafe has a good amount of seating. It is bright, clean, and earthy feeling (think green plants). Though there is a beautiful display of Brazilian pastries and goodies, I have always only ordered an acai bowl to go. The acai bowl is delicious, filling, and carefully prepared. Living in Castro for the Summer, I walked to this cafe countless times for their amazing menu items and pastries. Their mint and pineapple juice, along with all of their other drinks are fresh and made with love. Their lunch is great too - my mom and I loved sharing the milanesa sandwich. Of course, the coconut cheese breads or the chicken croquettes are a must buy as well. I have tried many pastries and menu items from here and all of them have been a 10/10. Great authentic brazilian food always filled with people from the community (which is always a good sign about the authenticity of the food) read more

Minus one star for poor service and stupidly made iced mocha. I've had the açaí here and it's great (I like it sweet, so I asked for some honey.) The service was great, and they give you a personal glass bottle of water! But today's takeout experience was ridiculous. When you come in and say, "hi!" a polite response is "hi, I'll be right with you" not, "I'm serving him right now" and continue flirting. My iced mocha came with a clump of coagulated chocolate at the bottom because the same server added the ice after the chocolate, then poured hot coffee and milk. Boo. read more

For Fisherman's Wharf, it's 5 stars!! If you're comparing it with all of SF, it's closer 4. If you're stuck in this area, this is the best food and not overpriced like every other place in Fisherman's Wharf! The place is tastefully decorated, spacious, and airy. Overall: A What to order: Everything is great. Try the acai bowls or the coconut mozzarella pastry! Food: A Some of the most unique dishes I've seen but all phenomenal. The acai bowls are absolutely beautiful works of art and tasty too. Vibes: A Clean and friendly neighborhood spot tucked into a busier part of the street. Since it was hot with the sun was out in the city I got the purple yam the Ube ice cream not on a cone but on a croffle ( part flakey croissant and waffle in SF). The Ube ice cream was not too sweet and was tasty and the croffle was soft and a bit crispy. I then had to wash it down with a refreshing Matcha Mango Latte with foam. The matcha was delicious and hit the spot . Now the only thing to consider next time is which nearby park spot I should hit to enjoy a Matcha. Will it be Dolores Park or Duboce Park or Noe & Beaver Community Garden ?( Questions in my Mind).
