    Matcha latte

Came here to do some work with a friend and ordered a matcha latte with oat milk, which was pretty good! My friend ordered a blueberry banana smoothie, which was also yummy. It's a casual cafe with small tables for you to grab a drink, quick bite to eat, or do some work. Service is quick and it's pretty busy in there.

Great place to work or meet with friends. The food is good, with a decent variety and really good drinks. It also came out pretty fast. Nice spot if you're in the neighborhood.

I've stopped by Bean Bag Cafe several times, whether to get some work done or grab brunch. This place has everything from breakfast, lunch, and dinner to coffee and wine/beer. They offer plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, and the owner is very friendly. I've ordered the Baja scrambled eggs, tacos, and the Bodega Bay sandwich, and the portion sizes are huge! I always have a great experience here and will definitely be returning many more times.

Amazing neighborhood spot with sweet and savory crepes that come with potatoes! We ordered the chicken pesto and lyon crepes (lemon mousse with brown butter) and it was my first trying both flavors. The service was fast and you order at the counter and find your own seating. Super casual place that is perfect for breakfast or brunch.

Came here to hangout at the cafe and use their WiFi (free). The cafe was spacious, clean, and played good background music. I ordered a Thai tea (~$5), was decent. I didn't get anything to eat but they had a bunch of customers coming in an out for their food so I'm sure it's good! Will def come back to try some.

Genuinely one of my favorite-ever study spots! This place just feels like home. They are incredibly nice and accommodating. The smoothies are delicious, and the fries are perfectly salted for only $5.50. They also have some tables near outlets in the back.

Let's give a toast to the neighborhood cafés that have survived San Francisco's transformation over the last 20 to 30 years. There aren't many of them. Beanbag is one of the survivors. Homely, basic, friendly and classic. You will find better, small batch, bespoke, coffee, and breakfast sandwiches elsewhere, but you won't get the personality. You won't get the sense of a neighborhood institution. The folks here are friendly, there is free Wi-Fi and a pretty extensive menu. Everything is fine. I usually go for breakfast and Tim never disappointed. If there's anything I don't like about it it's that there are always techies in here having their little techie meetings. Investment this, capitalize on that, scale, blah, blah, blah. But it speaks to that this place is spacious and chill.

Work from home lunch on a rainy cloudy day the cheeseburger was just right to help power through the rest of the work day. No line when I went in but the warm cafe filled up as the lunch hour went on. Many customers seemed to be looking for a short break from the passing rain. Probably should try their crepes since it's the main part of the menu but just wanted something filling with a side of fries. Fun spot to people watch due to the busy divisadero traffic.

Solid place! Cozy, comforting, yummy, no frills. Staff is nice and food is good (pretty basic).

The day that my gf and I went to the Bean Bag Cafe we weren't planning to go. My partner's car had to get towed and we were waiting for the tow truck to come by. We initially stopped by to get some coffee because we were so tired from the night before. We both came in; she ordered an iced matcha latte while I got a hot mocha with oatmilk. The man at the resturaunt was really nice. While we were waiting for our drinks we saw the menu and made a mental note to come back another day. After we dropped of the car to the auto shop we decided to go back because we hadn't eaten anything. The man at the register was surprised to see us again but was really nice. My gf had gotten an eggs Benedict plate. I had the Popeyes eggs Benedict which came with red onions and spinach and I had an extra cup of coffee. We also shared a stack of buttermilk pancakes with strawberries. Everything was delicious. My gf said her potatoes were a little burnt...but mine were fine. They were crispyyy. I think the reason why I gave this place 5 stars was because we were having such a rough day but when we came back and spoke with (what we assumed was) the owner of the restaurant, he made us feel 100% better. He made us feel welcomed and was very enthusiastic that there food was going to warm us up. The place does get a little crowded but is still a nice little area to do some homework. I recommend this spot for college students or small groups of people looking to have great food and a cup of coffee

GET THE BURRITO - SO DAMN JUICY! When you walk in the restaurant, you will need to order at the counter before choosing a seat. I would recommend sitting outside when the weather permits!

iced oat latte was a bit acidic, but only slightly. the chicken pesto crepe was great, the crepe was packed full and the chicken was tender. the tuna melt sandwich wasn't that special and the focaccia was a burnt and not very airy, but the fries were crispy and nice

Located a block away from Alamo Park and two blocks from the painted ladies. This is a great neighborhood coffee shop with an extensive food menu(breakfast, lunch and dinner). Smoothies, espresso drinks, and adult beverages. Ten beers on tap(Stella Artois $6 happy hour). They also have a restroom for customers.

We ordered the Signature (vegan) burger and the OG, and both were good. The grilled onions were absolutely amazing and added a lot of flavor to the burgers. My only suggestion would be to offer fresh jalapeños instead of pickled ones, as I think they would complement the burgers even better. The burgers were tasty, satisfying, and reasonably priced. We also tried the banana pudding, which was enjoyable and made for a nice sweet ending to the meal. Overall, a solid burger spot with good food, fair prices, and a clean atmosphere. It's convenitly located on the first floor right inside the window, so you can miss it. There were a couple other food vendors down there, including a full bar, and they were playing some World Cuo matches, which was a nice touch. Making a burger choice was tough, but I went with the double OG, which did not let me down. The lace was crispy, and the flavor combination of the ingredients was perfect. It was a top smash burger in the bay, and I'd def go again if in the area.

The wait on a Wednesday evening was kind of long but doesn't feel too bad when you're with good company. My friend and I waited about an hour around 6:30. The mushroom pizza was very flavorful. The corners and sides were crunchy, it was topped with lots of cheese and mushrooms. It was the perfect amount for 2 people. We also got the olive oil cake which came with a dollop of what I think is whipped cream cheese. It had a strong olive oil flavor, extremely moist and delicious. We were seated at the bar and although it was a little tight, it was nice to be able to look around the decorated area behind the bar. Tons of vinyls and quirky decor.
