    Breakfast Burrito
    Lillian Z.

Came here for a breakfast burrito, which included a side of either fruit or tater tots. Was a little bit of a wait but the location is great for dog-watching and has lots of outdoor seating. The burrito itself could've used some more seasoning and salt but the tater tots were super crispy!

I definitely want to make this a regular place. Duboce Park Cafe offers healthy options and fresh juices & smoothies. Located right next to Duboce Park, this is a great place to spend the morning dog-watching. On this morning, we ordered: + House Special Salad [6/5] (would recommend) + Green Machine [5/5] + Mighty Cleanse [4/5] The House Special Salad was so delicious! It comes with just a perfect amount of seasoning and feels so healthy with the assortment of nuts, fruits, and greens. I would definitely order this again. :) The Green Machine was sweet with a strong taste of apple. It felt healthy and I would definitely order this one again. The Mighty Cleanse had a really strong taste of carrot. It was good, but I think I would try other juices in favor of this one.

Hey munchkins! Hope all is well in the empire. The weather is quite nice. The sun is out and the relaxed Sunday spirit is in the air. I enjoyed a lovely meal at Duboce Park cafe. It was really nice eating outside looking at people playing in the park. I got the tuna melt and I liked it. The cheese and tuna went really well together and it was very filling. When I ate it I felt like it was Batman and I was Robin because it slapped. The waiters were quite attentive. The food came out very quickly. If you find yourself with a sunny Sunday and you want a nice morning brunch it's hard to think of a better alternative.

We were at Duboce Park with our dog and as we were leaving saw Duboce Park Cafe and decided to stop in for a quick bite. They do have a sign on the door that they don't allow dogs inside, but there is plenty of seating outside the cafe and many people were dining with their dogs. Luckily I could grab a seat while my husband went in to order. Once he did, they gave him a number and they brought our food and drinks out to our table. We ordered a cream cheese bagel, a lox everything bagel, an apple cider and a macchiato. The bagels came as a build your own experience, it's not something I've experiences often when ordering bagels but it allowed me to control how much of each topping to put on and if I wanted to eat it open faced or as a sandwich. I opted for two separate open faced pieces, and I felt like the amount of toppings was perfect and that everything was high quality. My macchiato was a little bitter for my taste, but a welcome bit of caffeine since I hadn't had any yet. My husband enjoyed his cider and especially that it had a cinnamon stick in it. Definitely a cute and well placed spot for a bite after walking around the neighborhood or playing at the park.

Such a lovely and convenient spot next to the park. Plenty of seating both inside and outside. Great variety of menu items. Walked away with a breakfast burrito and cold brew - thoroughly enjoyed both!!

Fun and lively cafe! Don't come when you're in a hurry, there is a line on weekends but it moves. You can also order to go ahead of time online. They have a good selection of food, juices, smoothies, and pastries. Great for meeting friends and sitting down or walking about the neighborhood and park.

Stopped by this cute cafe on a lunch break :) I ordered the Turkey, Avocado, Bacon and Swiss sandwich on a baguette - this order included kettle chips! The sandwich wasn't anything out of the ordinary and is a safe and solid choice. There was mustard and mayo as well. I think pickles would also add a good flavor to the order! The portion size was also decent. The cafe was v cute with both indoors and outdoor seating and across from Duboce Park so it's perfect if you want to pick up something for a picnic. There were also a number of people working on their laptops. There were also a variety of pastries which were gluten free as well as fresh fruit smoothies. if that's something you look for. Staff were patient and nice and wait time was short for my order :).

Almond croissant (biggest I've ever seen)

Beautiful cafe right on the corner across from Duboce Park. It has a sunny outdoor seating area as well as a cozy, well-lit indoor area. The coffee, smoothies, and pastries were great. All the croissants were the largest we'd ever seen. That being said, pastry options were fairly limited (but they do have vegan options). Will definitely visit again!

5 star location, ambience, breakfast stop. Right across the street from Duboce Park, on a wide corner, enough room for 6 cafe tables, shaded by 3 large trees. Dolores Park Café, Duboce Park Café, Precita Park Café, and Paradise Park Café have the same owner, so I was expecting the same menu of the same quality. Not so much. Couple days ago I had avocado toast at Dolores Park Cafe. Delicious. Today, 10a on a Tuesday, I'm looking at a 2 star avocado toast, if that. The toast wasn't toasted, so had to use knife & fork. Minus 1 point. Poached eggs undercooked. Minus 1 point. Bacon undercooked one side, seriously burnt on the other. Minus another point. I've been here before & enjoy many of their egg dishes, hence the 4 stars. Most of the annoying laptop village is indoors milking their latte all morning. Lively music overhead. In summery, I can recommend this cafe for a leisurely breakfast or lunch.

Vegan breakfast burrito, don't forget the tots!

Was looking for a vegan friendly brunch/lunch space and this was a great spot! Ordered at the counter and was helped with great service. Multiple vegan options! I tried the vegan breakfast burrito and it was so good!

    Pastrami
    Madison F.

(Review is actually 2.5 stars, yelp won't let me do half pts lol) I stopped by here on my break from work to satisfy my pastrami sandwich craving, was really excited because their pastrami on rye bread is a customer favorite on the menu. I ate half of it feeling like something was missing and then I realized my sandwich was made with wheat bread :/ I really wanted to go back and ask to get it changed or a refund (sandwich was 20$ with tax also 4 extra dollars for a sprinkle of arugula) but I couldn't, because I had to get back to work. It's a pastrami on rye, not wheat The sandwich wasn't bad it just wasn't what it was supposed to be.

I thought it would be similar to like a Hawaiian style latte with macadamia milk, but it was a lot lighter than I thought. It was definitely very nutty, but it also just tasted like water down latte. Honestly not much going on with the drink, but it does taste lighter in general. Crazy have to pay $1.50 more to add on this milk. Overall, its alright. I do like the natural lighting coming into the shop, but nothing too special.

We chose this large city location thanks to easy parking and a convenient stop on our drive. It was a beautiful morning, which was easy to enjoy thanks to the high ceilings, big glass windows, and open main door. The first floor has a central counter to order food and drinks; the glass cabinet has a bunch of rotating pastries from a local bakery. They have restrooms and a merchandise area here too. There's an upstairs loft that overlooks the cafe below, also with a test kitchen area and offices across to the front. They definitely have a larger business going on, and I can see why it's so popular. We ordered a latte, iced coffee, and various pastries to start our day. Prices were reasonable for the quality. Whether you are in the mood for a katsu sando, curry over rice, ochazuke with their matcha twist, or something sweet like the matcha cream pie, it is hard to go wrong here. All of the savory dishes I have tried have been great, but the fish katsu sando is one of my absolute favorites. The huge fish fillets are perfectly fried and flaky, tucked inside pillowy shokupan and topped with tangy yuzu shio koji sauce, tomato spread, and fresh crunchy cabbage. Every component works together beautifully, with richness, brightness, and texture all in balance. The pork katsu curry over rice is another standout. The katsu comes sliced into thick pieces that are still juicy inside, and it is fried expertly so the breading stays attached as you eat it. The curry has a really balanced flavor, even if I would not mind a little more spice, while the pickled radishes provide a nice contrast. I always add an onsen egg (for an additional $2) because breaking the runny yolk and mixing it into the curry adds another layer of velvety richness and creaminess. You can also tell they use high-quality matcha in their drinks, so the beverage menu is really more about choosing what fits your mood that day vs avoiding any bad options. Stonemill Matcha is a great option for a grabbing a drink on the go, a full blown sit down meal, a quick dessert stop or all of the above!
