    EXCELLENT Smoked Salmon Toast, $14.
    Sarah J.

OMG. The Smoked Salmon Toast is honestly THE BEST: Smoked salmon, lemon caper dill cream cheese, radishes, pickled onions & chives on a large slice of Acme levain for $14, very worth it, imho. GET IN MY BELLY ;-) Add in a delicious hot Chai Latte ($4.50) = one excellent lunch! Also -- sweet & friendly service! (The woman cashier even gently corrected a woman who tried to cut in front of me in line, heh! +Bonus) I see others posting about negative service, but I saw none of that on Tuesday 8/22 afternoon, even when they were slammed with moms and kids crowding the ordering area. Maybe they caught them on a bad, high-pressure day?

tldr; come here for the views and adjacent museum. sandwiches are solid. recs: egg salad sandwich Cafe Josephine is a warm and friendly gem of a cafe adjacent to a small museum with fun little attractions. Great to visit this place if the weather is nice to get a good view over the city. Egg salad sandwich was tasty but not too overwhelmingly heavy. Drip coffee and soup, however, were just okay. Service was speedy, friendly, and fantastic. Staff are knowledgeable and clearly care about the cafe. :)

Cafe Josephine is a nice place to grab a cup of coffee and catch up with friends. Situated at the top of a hill, you can grab your cup of coffee and enjoy walking around to take in a cool view of the city. I grabbed a coffee and a sandwich, which came in a pleasant mug and with minimal waste. They use Andytown coffee and Acme bread for their sandwiches. They were out of pickled onions on the day I visited, so my sandwich lacked a bit of substance, but other than that, I enjoyed the food and coffee.

Every drink we ordered was honestly delicious, you can really tell they put care into the quality and flavor of each one. Their coffee is smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced. The matcha was creamy, and not overly sweet. Definitely some of the better matches I've had in a while. The staff was also incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which made the whole experience even better. We both loved our drinks, and I also appreciated the portion sizes--they were just right and really satisfying. I ordered the Velvet Matcha Cloud (a matcha latte with matcha cloud), and my sister got the Matcha Strawberry Cloud, which includes an organic matcha latte topped with house-made strawberry cloud and dried strawberries. Both drinks were beautifully made and tasted great. They also have a wide variety of drink options beyond matcha, including coffee classics like signature pour-overs and espressos, as well as tea and other hot drinks. Their food menu is just as extensive, offering pastries like crepes, croissants, scones, muffins, and even sandwich bites. I really loved the vibe inside Q! It's very aesthetic with a soft, creamy, almost cozy atmosphere. Since we went last Friday on an afternoon, it was quite busy with a mix of tech workers and college students working at tables, but the space still felt comfortable. The staff were kind and working hard despite how busy it was, which I appreciated. Overall, it's a great spot if you're looking for good drinks, a pretty atmosphere, and a productive café environment.

Sometimes you cannot tell the difference from Spring to Summer weather in San Francisco. There is no consistency when the sun will come out. When the sun comes out and Karl the Fog is on vacation people come out and look for something delicious and cold. There is one place you can enjoy a refreshing drink like matcha no matter the weather. It's located on Market street and Noe and it's called Oishii Matcha. On a sunny Market street stroll in San Francisco Don Juan de la Matcha landed at Oishii Matcha. Inside I scrolled and ordered using the kiosk. Since it was hot with the sun was out in the city I got the purple yam the Ube ice cream not on a cone but on a croffle ( part flakey croissant and waffle in SF). The Ube ice cream was not too sweet and was tasty and the croffle was soft and a bit crispy. I then had to wash it down with a refreshing Matcha Mango Latte with foam. The matcha was delicious and hit the spot . Now the only thing to consider next time is which nearby park spot I should hit to enjoy a Matcha. Will it be Dolores Park or Duboce Park or Noe & Beaver Community Garden ?( Questions in my Mind). Come get the real matcha and not the "phony"go to Oishii Matcha because it is organic ceremonial "only" so let's have a tea "ceremony" with Don Juan de La Matcha giving the true matcha "testimony" Fake matcha should be "unlawful" it is tasteless and the flavor is very "awful " at Oishii Matcha you can get the purple Ube ice cream on a "croffle" it's a cross between a flakey croissant and a "waffle"

Just a quiet marble table, a tiny vase with two yellow flowers, and a slice of matcha crepe cake that makes you forget what you were stressed about. I came in on a weekday afternoon and ordered the matcha crepe cake and a passion fruit refresher. The cake is the kind that looks almost too precise to eat. Dozens of paper thin layers stacked with the kind of patience most people reserve for things that actually matter. The matcha flavor is real, not the green tea powder imposter you get everywhere else. The drinks are thoughtful too. Not sweet for the sake of being sweet. You can tell someone actually tasted these before putting them on the menu. The space itself earns its own mention. Marble counters, natural light pouring in from the street, good music at a volume that lets you actually have a conversation. It feels like someone designed it for the experience, not the Instagram photo, which ironically makes it very photogenic. 4.7 stars on Yelp with nearly 300 reviews and I understand every single one of them.
