The salsa on my breakfast burrito was extreeeemely flavorful, not spicy and reminded me of the roasted molcajete salsas my grandma would make. Soooo flavorful. This is a pretty busy place so I recommend making sure you get there in time to stand around in line. It's a cute cozy spot with some outdoor seating and a little parklet. Was overall happy with Chloe's Cafe! I came by with a couple friends at the recommendation of another friend who lives in the area. It was a Sunday morning and despite looking very busy, we only waited about 15 minutes for a table. It's a quaint diner with simple, diner-style food. A bit pricey but the portion sizes make up for it. I'm a tough critic of breakfast potatoes but these ones were delicious. Breakfast burrito was also tasty. I rarely ever venture into the city, but this was a recommendation from one of my friends who does. We came around 11am or so on a Sunday, and although it looked like there was a wait, a walk around the block was all it took before a table outside opened up for us. My friend ordered an iced coffee while I ordered a matcha. There was a bit of a backup at the cafe counter so my drink arrived well after hers. As for food, my friend ordered the BLAT sandwich while I ordered the Florentine Scramble and added chicken apple sausage to it (an extra $3). Food came fairly quickly and the portions were huge, which was a pleasant surprise! IMO, it sort of offset the sticker shock of a $20 scramble since I was able to eat half my plate at brunch and bring the leftovers home for later. Also the servers were super nice, but after we got our food no one really checked on us - not even to offer filling our waters. Overall, I would rate this place a 3.5/5 and round it up to 4. Atmosphere was cute and cozy, service was meh, and food was good but it didn't blow me away to the point where I feel like I would need to make the drive up to the city for it. My family and I have been looking for a good alternative for our weekend breakfast out since our beloved TOAST closed down. Last weekend was our first visit at Chloe's Cafe and it was strange from the very beginning. My husband and I along with our 7 year daughter asked for a table inside due to the cool breeze of the morning. We were told it would be a hour wait since there was only 2 tops available. Then the hostess continued with her tasks and simply walked away. After figuring out she was not going to offer anymore support we kindly sat ourselves and just shrugged it off. Unfortunately, the unpleasant experience continued...the service felt rushed, my daughter's bacon was so burnt it crumbled when she picked it up and they did not seem pleased when we asked for a replacement. The perfect size dinner for me tonight. Chloe's is not on the busiest merchant block which makes parking a little easier which was a welcome thing after a long day. As for Chloe's they have window service which is a nice option if you are in need of a beverage fix, but for myself the wish was for a lite dinner of Veg & Meat and that was happily achieved tonight. I found the staff pleasant, and order pickup painless, and when I returned home after a slight detour to grab a $MCD Iced Coffee the container of Meat & Veg was a welcome sight. The various elements were well seasoned, and the peppers a savory component of the main that came without the distraction of heat. As for the pickled veg, I was full after the main dish and Blueberry Muffin but they smelled and looked enticing so I'll have them at some point this weekend Overall a very good experience. read more

The place is very small, they have some table outside and inside but the space is very small. We ordered coffe for sure, the florentine scramble for me with home fries and walnut bread as a side; my friend ordered also my same plate but with home fries and fruits; my husband created his plate (scramble eggs with avocado and bacon) with bagel and salad. After our order was taken though, we had to wait an hour for our food. Supposedly the food was backed up, but our waiter did not inform us. I was staying in Noe Valley and wanted to stop by a quick place for brunch. Luckily, I found Chloe Cafe down the street with a long line out the door. There was a sign in sheet outside where people could write their names down and be called one by one. Luckily, I was alone so I managed to get an empty seat by the counter. I ordered the BEC Bagel Sandwich which came with bacon, scrambled egg, and Jarlsberg cheese on a sesame bagel. I picked a side of home fries and an iced coffee to drink. The portions were huge. I barely was able to finish it all. I was able to see the cooks in front of the counter cooking all the food and preparing the fruits and vegetables. I was amazed at the quickness and efficiency of preparing all the meals and going through the dishes during a hectic brunch rush hour. Needless to say, I was impressed. The second time I came here I decided to order the Salmon Scramble which came with smoked salmon, dill, and caper scrambled eggs. It came with two sides so I chose the fruit and salad. The fruit and salad sides were large as well. You don't usually see large bowls of fruit or salads when you come for a meal. I enjoyed having a healthy balance in my breakfast. The salmon scramble was excellent and gave good portions of salmon. I was not disappointed both times I was here and will come again next time I am in Noe Valley. read more

It was super yummy, the bread was soft and lightly toasted, great ratio of bacon and other ingredients. My friend also got a sandwich with a side of salad and her salad also looked good! Lovely atmosphere with plenty of outdoor seating. There are three four-tops in a temporary structure and five two-tops under a bunch of umbrellas, which provide plenty of shade / protection from light rain. Just a really nice vibe. We arrived at around 11:30am on a Saturday and waited about 10 minutes for a table.
