Omg the cutest cafe ever! Each inch of this space was carefully curated, from the ceiling to the walls and even the bathroom. I love that they post pictures of their customers' dogs on the wall, making it truly feel like a community space. They have a great selection of coffee, pastries and breakfast items. We opted for some hot coffee, breakfast burrito and breakfast sandwich. Both items were delicious, but I especially love the English muffin bun they used, as it was light and airy and I loved the generous serving of arugula they placed on my sandwich. You order at the counter first, and theyll call your number once your order is ready. Note that they only have one bathroom which might get crowded at peak times. read more

My go-to cafe for coffee/breakfast! There's always a large, frequently rotating variety of specialty latte flavors, and they always hit the spot. I've tried a number of different flavor combination specials now, and I keep coming back to try more! The service is also always super great. Always super kind ! First timer here. Two reasons for me to be here. Avocado Toast & a trip down hippie lane. (Two types of trips you could probably have if you stare into the twinkling faerie lights too long). Some would call this place dated & cluttered. Yep, but sitting here surrounded by amazing eye candy I half expected the ghost of Haight Ashbury past, a young barefoot woman with flowers in her hair. You don't get this vibe at Starbucks. I don't drink coffee which is a shame given their creative offerings. If you choose to nurse a lavender latte all day, they've got WiFi, & a small windowless loft area to disappear into. Not to worry, plenty of seating. Wait, there's even a small printer by the entrance! Mugs, water bottles, jewelry, T-shirts for sale. A wall of framed dog photos. Don't know if the PAC Man machine works. You really have to see for yourself. I think the Jimi Hendrix painting is telepathically asking if I've ever been experienced. So big surprise, I ordered the Avocado Toast & a London Fog sans vanilla. Such a nice guy at the corner, bonus points he has a sense of humor. They actually toasted the bread, topped with a generous spread of creamy goodness & perfectly fried egg, meaning it didn't drip down onto my hand. On top was dressed greens piled high. Service is friendly and efficient. I give it 4 stars not 5 only based on the fact that the few times I have had food here, i've been rather unimpressed. This is a uniquely decorated gem! Every inch of this place was filled with cute details literally all the way to the next level. I will say, the ube latte was good but not my most favorite. They do have a big menu of unique combo flavors that I definitely have to revisit to try though. Order from the counter when you walk in and they will call out your order when ready. Can be ordered hot or iced. Opted for ice since the weather has been really warm. Colorful and aesthetic drink that's enjoyable and smooth to drink. - Breakfast sandwich - English muffin, egg, sausage, and avocado. Honestly haven't had a breakfast sandwich in a long time. This was pretty classic, simple sandwich but hit home and was also nostalgic for me. Service was friendly and quick. Super casual with a steady flow of people coming in and out. I was looking forward to getting some coffee and the review pictures looked delicious. With all the special order options i chose an ube latte. Don't get me wrong it tastes heavily like ube.. with minimal coffee. My sister got a strawberry matcha, she was very disappointed. The matcha turned brown when she mixed it with the strawberry. This is a cafe that really cares about its customer's experience! There were so many considerate additions to this cafe I really appreciate, and it made it really inviting to come back to. The decor is definitely over the top in a quirky way, from the wall of dog photos to the plethora of hanging floral strings on the ceiling. Pros: - Huge menu! Lots of fun flavored drinks if you're into that, and prices are very reasonable. Lattes start at 2 shots each! - I really enjoyed my Lox bagel too, so the food menu seems good as well. - Free wifi!! Seating!! Cannot emphasize this enough. - Bathroom, free samples, hot sauce bar, public mini book offering, printer with envelopes and stamps for sale, etc! The only con I can think of is that there are limited windows, so the upstairs seating can feel a bit dark. This overall seems like a really awesome neighborhood cafe with good vibes. I've had their specialty lattes (lavender, lychee, etc) and all of them were not good at all, with a super odd flavor. I love exploring new flavors but these just didn't hit. Also, very expensive. Same goes with the food - the wrap and avocado toast are a bit too overpriced and underwhelming for me. The shakes are good! Would recommend them especially the espresso banana one. I would recommend going here once for the vibe and the shakes, but would not recommend for your go to coffee shop. read more

Found this cafe by chance when my partner and I happened to be in the area running an errand. What a gem to find! It was an hour before closing and not too busy. There are many options for coffee drinks, smoothies, and food so it took us some time to order and the staff were patient. I ordered the "coconut coconut latte" and everything bagel bite. The latte was sweet and the bagel bite complimented it well! The decorations here are worth the visit alone (they had decorated for the 4th of July). While waiting for my food I over heard the older man talking about patrons in Spanish with the older woman cooking. He called the customers "entitled". super cute cafe down near the park! we stopped by before starting the trek over to the gardens. The staff is very nice and man, they have a very large menu. All sorts of stuff. It's a big pricey, higher than i'm use to for a cafe, but its also SF. The ambiance in here is super cool with the main theme being astrology so it was cool to look around and find my sign. I got a fruit smoothie and it was very delicious! Well blended and glad they had non-dairy options as I'm lactose intolerant. I ordered a Matcha smoothie and a carrot bread . The smoothie taste like banana ice water and the bread tasted like a foot. My fam has been in the neighborhood since the 40 s and The neighborhood coffee shops used to be more friendly , not the case with this place . The woman could care less that I was there . Karma is really cute and homey with a kitschy hippy vibe, it reminds me a lot of how independent coffee shops in SF looked like in the days of yore before Starbucks and other corporate coffee shops pretty much took over and now dominate the scene. I usually like to sit upstairs because it's a quirky little spot however it's since closed because of Covid but hopefully it will open up soon. As someone that loves spicy I love how their condiments section has it's own hot sauce set up with about 6 different types. It's a block away from the Panhandle so a great place to come and get food to sit in the park. The only thing I don't like about it is that they close super early (3pm). read more
