If you want a quick grab for coffee and breakfast this is the spot. The quality of the food is too bad and they dont hold back on how much fillings they put in sandwiches.
Came here to visit a friend and wanted a mid day snack. The matcha latte is great, good vibes and decor, and the lox bagel is refreshing! A definite must check out in a random part of SF.
They have a lot of great seating and a really cute aesthetic wall if you're into taking Instagram style pictures and want to get a coffee cup photo. What I will say is that I accidentally got my coffee hot when I meant to order it iced, and the staff were really nice about switching it for me. They did end up just pouring the hot coffee into a cup with ice, so it wasn't a true iced coffee and the ratios felt a bit off. The person helping also seemed a little annoyed that I asked to change it, which I totally understand, but it did make me feel a bit bad in the moment. Other than that, it was a good experience. I think the specialty lattes are a little less sweet than what I personally prefer, but overall it's a good place to sit and work or hang out for a while.

Coffee flavor was good, with a nice bitter note but the flavoring of the hazelnut was very light. Lox bagel and Doppio bagel. Lox bagel was good with a good amount of salmon. Doppio bagel was good, the egg was cooked perfectly and bagel was nicely toasted. Solid spot for breakfast Overall: 4.3/5
Great cafe to do work for a couple hours, with plenty of seating, wifi, and a few outlets. Service was quick and friendly. Lox bagel and hazelnut latte were both delicious.
This must've replaced Grandma's Deli & Cafe. We weren't close. I only visited once, I think, so I couldn't call her Nonna or MeeMaw. That probably explains why I didn't have a broken heart when I saw this trendier looking cafe take her place. It didn't have the warmth of Grandma's but then again, I don't think that's the owner's aspiration here. The menu focused on Instagram-friendly fare. The salads, sammies, and smoothies appeared targeted to youngsters tackling lazy girl jobs and bare minimum Mondays. They were leisurely congregating at the tables, though I did find one space just for me. I ordered the $13.50 Doppio's Salad, a blend of avocado slices, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, cashews, crumbled feta, a hard-boiled egg, and balsamic vinegar (Photo 7). It was a bit smaller than I expected, but the contrast in textures and flavors was a welcome element. The $4.25 Cold Brew was a refreshing complement (Photo 6). After all, emblazoned in pink neon was their slogan, "Life is not perfect, but your coffee can be." I didn't stay for long though because frankly the noise level was a bit high for me. I'd probably take advantage of their takeout next time. Came here with a group of friends for breakfast and was blown away. Lots of great seating despite this being a popular spot. Place is cute and clean - has a bathroom too. Everyone loved their orders, they do coffee very well here. Workers are wonderful too!
Five stars for how well-rounded this cafe is. 1. Location: It's easy to access, just a block from the Van Ness muni station, making it a wonderful option for friends from different parts of the city to meet. 2. Food: It has a full menu from sandwiches to dessert to coffee, there's something for everyone. 3. Ambience: It's bright, spacious, well decorated, and complimentary WiFi is available. It's not so quiet that you feel self conscious having a conversation, but also quiet enough to be able to focus. Despite being in a city with so many great coffee shops, I struggle to find cafes that offer all of the above, and this place has it all!
This cafe is it! I've been here twice already and both times we were lucky (not really impossible) to grab seats because boy does it get busy in here (very valid). There's definitely a continuous cycle of customers leaving and entering. The person working the front pays super close attention to the ordering machine -- if he notices even a slight line forming he takes over the register to take a customers order! There's music playing in the background that adds to the continuous movement of the place -- not disruptive at all. There's a mix of people hanging out, people talking with friends, and people working. Eating in is definitely an experience. On an occasion, of the staff members walked around giving people banana Nutella toast -- how awesome! I have never experienced that from a food establishment! 8/10 Mozzarella and tomato avocado toast. It's really filled with tomatoes, mozzarella pieces, greens, and seasoning. Really yummy. 8/10 smoked salmon avocado. You get a good amount of salmon for sure with your avocado toast! My partner ate his whole one and my half. 7/10 banana crepe. It's a banana crepe with Nutella! Pretty yumm 9/10 iced chai latte. Sooo yummy! 4/10 iced matcha latte. They do make the matcha the way it's supposed to but the flavors are not giving unfortunately :( I do prefer to dine in than to order takeout/delivery! The fresher the better :) I will definitely be back for the ambiance, the service, and to try out new food :)
such a gorgeous space, for working/ studying/ reading/ just relaxing. it's warm and cozy inside with plenty of natural sunlight, and the wifi is free and fast. there's lots of food and drinks including specialty lattes! I tried the iced pistachio latte ($5.50) and it had a good espresso base and subtle pistachio taste. I wish the pistachio flavor was a tad stronger, but the price was very affordable for a specialty latte
Stopped by to have lunch and do some work. It seems other people had that same mindset as it was completely packed. The gentleman who took my order at the till saw that there was a seat about to become available so he suggested that I quickly put my bag on the seat before coming back to pay. Appreciate the lookout! Great service, delicious sandwich, not much else I can say. Will definitely be back.
We found this cute spot after spontaneously deciding to eat out for breakfast. The place is newly opened, clean and bright interior with delicious, good food. Service is friendly and helpful. The restaurant and the food are both so clean. The egg in the breakfast crepe was boiled and then smashed into the avocado with cheese melted in it so there was very little oil in it. This thoughtful preparation made it taste and feel fantastic. It really stood out to me how uncomplicated the food was in the best way. I like knowing what's in my food and what I'm putting in my body. The only con was the coffee for me; the americano felt watered down and the cold brew tasted premade. I think I'll try the latte or a smoothie next time and see if those are better. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu!!

I love the avacado toast and the a big fan boy of the Berry Chill smoothie. All of the food is delicious and hearty . The quality of the food is evident with the great taste in each bit of the avacado toast , as well as the Greta berry flavor of the Berry Chill smoothie!

We stumbled upon Doppio on a total whim during our weekend getaway, and it ended up being the absolute best surprise! We loved it so much that we came back twice during our two-day stay. Everything about this spot is fantastic: The Drinks: The Nutella frappe is a MUST! It's wonderfully sweet and indulgent, but still honors that rich, authentic espresso flavor. The lattes and matcha drinks with their beautiful latte art were equally incredible. The Food: From their delicious sandwiches on fresh bread to their loaded lox bagels, the food was high quality and full of flavor. Service & Vibe: Outstanding table touching and top-notch customer service. You can immediately tell the owner/manager takes immense pride in his business--he makes every guest feel genuinely welcomed. Plus, the trendy, vibrant decor (complete with cute neon signs and palm leaf walls) makes for the best photo ops! If you're anywhere near the area, do yourself a favor and stop by. We'll definitely be back next time we're in town! read more
I grabbed brunch here with friends on the weekend, and I was surprised that it was so packed inside. Wasn't expecting it given the area this spot is located. Overall, I had a good experience. It's a pretty casual spot where you order at the kiosk near the front. I got a turkey pesto crepe that was fairly good - not exceptional but definitely not bad either. My friend's sandwich looked pretty good too. read more

Matcha is actually so good, I personally hate when places have matcha on their menu and it's just not matcha. This place defo does matcha justice. The pistachio iced latte is so good, I subittued for coconut milk and I think it taste amazing. Would come again, total came around $15.57. read more

I'm impressed! We have a new cafe in the city, South of Van Ness on Mission. It's in a great location, across from Equinox and the nearby residences. You don't wanna miss out on the goodies they have to offer--from crepes to coffee. This might become my new hang out spot as it's a cute space away from all the traffic right outside. I had the pleasure of trying their soft opening. I opted in for the iced latte and their Pastrami on Ciabatta. It was a great combo and fulfilled my morning madness towards the end of the week. It definitely woke me up for the day, just what I needed! The sandwich made me full. It was the perfect amount and they gave a hefty load of pastrami. I can't wait to come back when they're full open and have some crepes! They have both sweet and savory. The owner, Tanner is super welcoming and friendly. Be sure to stop by and say hi! This made my day knowing we have a great addition to the area. Something to look forward to. read more

A friend and I went to get breakfast before our matinee of "Phantom of the Opera". This place was interesting. We ordered on a computer, and they brought us our food, and they were packed so it was a little bit of wait, which was fine. They didn't really have traditional breakfasts as I would've liked, so I just took a breakfast plate, which had a hard-boiled egg, a grilled cheese sandwich, half of a cut up avocado, which was very good, a little bowl of some kind of Middle Eastern cheese cut in chunks, a little cucumber and tomato salad, and a small little ramekin of hot sauce. It was interesting, but not my fave. People obviously like it, as it was pretty busy. read more

This is my first time trying this place . I came here to get a good coffee to start my day then want it to try some food. What a bagel I had Food was so good . I ordered avocado toast and bagel of soma Both were so delicious and can't wait to have it again soon tomorrow . read more
Saw this place while walking by and made it a plan to stop by on the weekend. Looks pretty clean and tidy with the obligatory neon sign with a "funny" quote. I just got a Hazelnut Latte and it was fine. They have crepes, sandwiches and some pastries that look pretty good. I'll have to try on my next visit. read more
Doppio is a brand new cafe on Mission between Van Ness & 11th St. This is a great addition to the area serving drinks, breakfast and brunch. The extensive menu consists of coffee, smoothies, bagels, sandwiches, toasts , crepes, pastries, etc. I ordered the iced matcha latte, lox bagel and turkey sandwich via the kiosk. Wait time for my drink was about 10 mins and for the food was about 20 mins FYI during 1130am brunch hours. Matcha was a little bland, have to mix it yourself since all the matcha clumped on the bottom. The food was fresh, feels light and healthy. Enjoyed the bright and modern cafe environment but did not enjoy how stuffy it was in there. They definitely need to have AC going or some sort of air flow. When I come back next time, I will consider ordering ahead on their website! read more

Chill neighborhood cafe with good bites and friendly service. Service: 5/5 - very friendly and attentive. Food: 4.5 - The avo toast came with a surprising amount of avocado. The egg on top was hardboiled, also surprising.. Drink: 4.5/5 - The cold brew was super strong and the flat white was excellent. I've been on Yelp for years and never written a review. Doppio may be fairly new, but it's quickly become my go-to café. The customer service is consistently excellent, every staff member is attentive and welcoming. Shout-out to Firit (apologies if I misspelled your name!) for going above and beyond. His service truly stood out and made the experience even better. They have a great selection of drinks - coffee, lattes, and smoothies but the chai latte is hands down my favorite. I've tried the sesame bagel, breakfast sandwich, and savory crepes, and everything has been delicious. I also love the thoughtful touch of pickles with each dish, plus the salsa (which I believe is Tapatío) I love any spice. Highly recommend if you're looking for great food, drinks, outstanding service, and a cozy, comfortable space to work, eat, or meet up with friends. read more

Cant believe that there is this cute coffee shop in the city now!!!! So happy to have some where the coffee is made fresh and the food made with the upmost care!!! Very efficient and attentive to all customers who walked through the door. Had the avocado and egg toast, go bananas crepe and a latte best pairing ever!! Avocado spread was obviously made fresh and so creamy. I was about to ask what their secret was!! Every time I visit the city I always struggled to decide where to go to have good vibes and good coffee from. Not any more!!!! We've been waiting for this place to open for a minute. The menu is a lot bigger than I thought - sweet crepes, pastries, sandwiches, savory crepes, smoothies, coffee and more. Tropical Bliss smoothie - 5/5 tastes mostly of banana. There's dried coconut on top and it is very thick, but delicious. Turkey and Cheese crepe - 4/5 wish it was a bit bigger but it was still good nonetheless. This would be a great place to get coffee and hang out or study/work. The decor cute and the seating is clean and spacious. read more

This is one of my new favorite coffee spots! The vanilla latte is incredible and the crepes are fire. Staff is super nice. Such a great addition to this neighborhood! Highly recommend! read more
