    cold brew and savory scone
    Henry L.

delicious coffee and pastries! I got the cold brew and the savory scone. a bit pricey, but high quality food and drink. service was good, the cashier answered my questions about the drinks. they were also very fast to provide my food and drink. they have plenty of cozy spots and seats for one to sit for as long as they'd like. the one thing that'd make this a 5 star experience is if there is wi-fi here. that would make this go from a monthly visit to weekly/if not more frequent for me.

Nice location in SF, there are roadside parking spots available. The cafe is quite big and even on a weekend, was able to find seating. The ambience is inviting and cozy. Service is fast, considering it was a weekend and it was quite busy. Ordered latte and cappuccino.. both were decent, the cappuccino size was a bit small, and somehow the pairing with oat milk wasn't the best. I would def like to try more of their coffee/drinks!

This was my first time here. I simply went to buy a Lb. of coffee after looking at their website and seeing it was near another location I needed to go for the day. The shop is nice and the decor colorful. There were 2 barista's making drinks and 1 person to deal with the pastries and cash register. Several orders with drinks and pastries and you have wait for each Person? They need to add a way to scan your purchase and go without having to wait for them to assemble each food order while using technology this is the most inefficient checkout procedure. In addition they didn't have the Kungahara Rwandan coffee I saw on the website. The coffee I did get Alexander Sabillon Honey was really smooth on the palate don't know that this checkout procedure would bring me back.

    Entrance, very breathable and open!

I don't live in the mission, but I had heard of Ritual Coffee Roasters because of various social media posts, etc. But when a friend asked me to meet them at this coffee spot, I figured it would be a good opportunity to get to the other side of the city and explore a bit where I don't usually get to be! The space was absolutely gorgeous and incredibly spacious with copious amounts of seating and my favorite part, lots of plants and greenery! They also had an outdoor seating area at the back of the shop but I didn't go to look at it, and it was also almost 85 degrees outside I didn't opt to getting a coffee or drink on this visit but I was hungry and needed sustenance, and so I asked the person working the counter about the pastries, they happily explained each one and where they came from (which bakery, etc) and I chose the banana bread which was DELICIOUS. This place is awesome, and I'm usually pretty hesitant to say positive things about city spots that get a lot of hype, but this one has hype for a reason!

    Iced coco-bliss with almond milk

pricey but really good coffee with tons of tables in this light-filled, comfortable space I had the seasonal coco-bliss and while I couldn't taste the jasmine, the espresso was strong and the coconut whip was delicious!

I've been coming here for a couple of years now. It's probably my favorite coffee shop. There's something about the whole vibe the shop has. Check it out it out!

Seasonal Espresso Fluorescence & Single Origin Espresso Incuti, Burundi

I got the single origin (Burundi) and a house blend espressos. Single origin had some good citrus notes coming through. The blend leaned more toward strong coffee flavor, not bitter or burnt, maybe a little dark chocolate. Both shots lacked body -- thin, no creamy mouthfeel. Stronger flavor or more texture would've brought them up. Solid shots but not remarkable. Single origin: 3.5/5 Blend: 3/5

Ritual coffee is one of the places I can go and trust that they serve me good coffee (I usually order a hot latte or a pourover) This location is nice because it has plenty of seating. The people are generally friendly and I usually have a good time coming here. I like that they change up the art featured on the wall every so often. They also put up posters for local events that are happening in the area, very cute neighbor-y vibes. Only downside is no wifi or outlet. This specific location also has pastries from other bakeries so that's nice if you are looking for a quick bite. I like their lattes, pourover, coffee related items. Most recently, the seasonal menu has Cherry Bomb, which is espresso and cherry syrup etc. I enjoyed it (more on the sweet side), and gotta make sure to stir well before drinking, otherwise you get a mouthful of syrup. I personally didn't like their matcha drink as much. They have this fancy matcha machine that grinds fresh matcha leaves. However, I find the drink to be a bit grainy. Overall, great place to come to and this is one of the places that I would revisit.

The ambiance was great, the service was exceptional. The barista made my latte perfectly and the coffee was delicious. This was probably the prettiest coffee art I've ever had. I almost didn't want to drink it.

What an aesthetic spot. It's literally glowing with energy and the staff was kind and helpful when we were ordering. We arrived on a Sunday and the place was bustling. Parking was smooth cause sunday = free parking. We came here to park up and study. But my were we surprised why was there no Wi-Fi. We were forced to use our cellular hot spots and that put us in a hot spot. Coffee was smooth, was pretty sweet for a sweet tooth like myself. Cool spot to vibe

3 stars for the coffee 4 stars for the interior and overall experience During the time I was studying for a board exam, I needed a new spot. I decided to try Ritual one day i was craving a vanilla latte (this was around december of 2024). At this time, they don't not serve vanilla lattes. An employee kindly recommended another specialty seasonal iced espresso drink that I sadly cannot remember the name of. The coffee was just ok to me especially for the price and small size that's offered. It's flavors created a combination that was not super enjoyable to me. The espresso flavor was there, though. Studying here was a nice experience. it's a large shop with plenty of seating. It was nice to observe the beautiful art work inside and the general goings on. Now that they serve vanilla lattes, I am interested in trying them out again but otherwise would not have considered coming back for an espresso drink.

Ritual Coffee Roaster is my favorite cafe in Mission. Their cappuccino is spot on and I felt very comfortable seated near the back and front. This cafe is trendy and spacious!

No wi-fi so use your hotspot if you have! Ritual is spacious with plenty of seating. The staff is friendly and able to help with recommendations. I had Carrot Ginger Tea and I enjoyed it, there's a lot of selection to choose from, whether coffee or tea or other beverages. Bathrooms are clean and nice to use. Tables are a little shaky but other than that, it's great. I'll be back.

I think a touch of black pepper or a light dressing would have enhanced them, but that's just my personal preference. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I'd be happy to visit again.

Occasionally burnt espresso but I love them too much to mind. I am a matcha snob to say the LEAST. Hands down best coffee shop matcha in the Bay Area. The classic iced matcha latte with honey is grassy and earthy and creamy and a little sweet. The iced banana pudding matcha latte had people lined up around the corner for months when it came out. It is deliciously worth the wait. Best banana cold foam in my opinion because it's made with actual bananas instead of flavoring so it's much more mellow. The double matcha they had for awhile is also awesome. Banana cold foam also goes great on an espresso latte. Now they let you add whichever cold foam you like to whatever drink which is great. Basically you can't go wrong. They are always changing up the menu for the new season and have lots of unique drinks on their menu. Not much seating inside at this location. The winchester Blvd one has more if that's what you're looking for. Their pastries are also all yummy and they sell their matcha powder for $60 for 100g which is a GREAT price for a great matcha.
