When walking down Mission St Grand Coffee caught my eye solely off their logo and branding the colors popped out to me and I was curious I book marked it and finally got the chance to try it today I've officially found my favorite latte in San Francisco I got an Iced Oat milk Orange Blossom Orgeat Latte with the Juniper-Ginger Cream at the recommendation of the amazing Barista. I appreciated the recommendation, amazing service and the quickness of my drink being made. I also really enjoyed liked the ambiance especially the music, from Project Oat, OutKast to Biggie my ears were pleased. The decor, plants and the community based seating were also a favorite see people sharing a couch or bench. The outside seating also seemed very inviting as well I will absolutely be back to try the Pineapple Vanilla Latte. Lastly I liked that I was able to get a fun drink for less than 10 dollars and be in a space that was nice aesthetically and tasted great! read more

Grand Coffee Too is such a great coffee shop. I really like the vibe. It's an amazing location right off 21st and Mission near Alamo Drafthouse and Foreign Cinema. It's such a bright space, lots of indoor seating including couches. The service was really nice and quick, everyone was kind. I liked the stickers at the front too. Their coffee bean selection looked nice. I got the Gochujang Brown Butter latte with whole milk. I loved it, it was a little spicy, sweet so warm and easy to drink. I have gotten their Iced Piña Vanilla latte several times since trying it last week ok. I don't know what espresso beans they're using but it is sooo beautiful!!! I don't like my drinks very sweet so I was a lil nervous but the syrup they're using is truly balanced. They really hit it out of the park with this one imo. Interior is lovely, if you come on a weekend it might be a lil hard to find seating but if you wait a bit a seat will show up. Great vibes, sweet staff and high quality coffee. Anytime I go to a movie at Alamo next door and I pretty much have to stop at Grand before or after. It's a lovely shop, with excellent drinks and awesome staff. I always get an oatmilk matcha latte (w/no upcharge for the non-dairy option!) and they make it so well. It is free from sweetener and has a rich matcha-y taste. I usually pair this with one of the chocolate date snacks they have at the counter and it's a delightful treat. Preferably, I will have it on-site because the vibe of the place is so chill. Such a cute spot with a great vibe! The Space: There's no WiFi, which actually was really nice; it encourages conversation and gives the space a more communal feel. That said, if you're looking to work remotely, this probably isn't the place you're staking out. It's a short, flat walk from the BART station, and totally worth the detour. I walked in and there appeared to be four employees milling around chatting. One person was making coffee and one was cleaning. The other two seemed to be doing not much No one paid any attention to me for several minutes. The person making coffees greeted me but was obviously busy. Eventually, one of the chatting people came over to take my order. While I was waiting for my coffee, I looked around. When I was here last time, it was packed and there were only about six seats. I wasn't a fan of the bitter mocha I once got from their original location, but I was down to give them another shot. This time, I ordered a "not coffee" -- a Lime Rickey ($5) which had zero sweetness. Perhaps a syrup-sweetened latte would suit me more; orange blossom orgeat sounds promising. I'm not giving up on Grand yet. They've got potential, I know it. (This is beginning to sound like, "I can fix him.") Reasonable prices, interesting non-coffee drink selection, there's pan dulce in the display case I've yet to try, & they're right next door to my go-to movie theater. Visited Grand Coffee Too for the first time on a Friday evening and had a great experience! It's a super cute and artsy coffee shop, perfect hangout spot with friends. Loved the vibes here and the staff was SO welcoming and friendly. Just note that it's very small, so seating is limited. I believe there are around 6 counter seats in total, as well as a bench. I ordered the Iced Matcha and loved it! You can choose either whole milk or oat milk, and can also order this drink hot if you prefer hot drinks. It was ready pretty quickly, and they provided a beautiful coaster that perfectly matched the vibes of the shop. My friend and I also tried their chocolate chip cookie, which was absolutely AMAZING. The center was thick and I loved how I could taste the salt. It was perfect. Definitely would order these again. Can't wait to visit again next time in the area! read more

Vibes were not very good here. Accidentally tried to go up the stairs which were not labeled and the staff was rude about the fact that upstairs was a private area. Not very friendly service. Certainly won't return to work briefly, but also wouldn't return otherwise because I can find many other places in the neighborhood that would offer more friendly service without so many "rules." I can't say enough good things about this place - the folks who worked at the shop gave me the kindest & most generous service of any café I've ever been to. I stopped in when visiting from out-of-town and was surprised at how open and welcoming everyone was. It was obvious that the baristas were passionate about the shop & its menu. They let us sample several menu items before ordering and even gave us a palette cleanser when we finished our drinks. I really liked the flavored lattes (orange blossom syrup!) but was even more impressed by their homemade teas. As of January 2023, the cafe has very limited bar seating, so would recommend planning to visit as a stop or place to have a quick chat on the way to somewhere else (in its current state, this probably isn't a place to plan a longer meeting or do work). Ahhhhh, I have never found a coffee shop where I felt part of the community. The baristas (I can only remember Kim's name on the top of my head) are so friendly and welcoming. You can sit and chat at the bar and before you know it an hour passes by. A lot of the people that walk in seems to be regulars and I love that the baristas know most by their name.
