Swing by this cafe because it was a nice day outside and I wanted a place with outdoor seating to soak up the sun. Came on a weekday to do some work and there was plenty of seating available. I got the iced matcha latte and my friend got the iced chai. Drinks were out quick and pretty good. One thing to note is that the wifi outdoors is pretty slow so we ended up moving inside to do work. Cool place to chill, but it also closes kinda early if you wanna stay and do work later.

Amazing time here. The ambiance is perfect- music playing softly enough to have a conversation. The cat is also a welcome addition to the area. The food is great- specifically toast. The service is wonderful- the baristas are nice.

Loved the interior of this place! I happened to stumble upon it walking on the street, and decided to stop in and cowork for a bit. Great amount of tables and seating with wifi, as well as a beautiful outdoor space and a kitty! The latte was standard, and the menu is pretty small but nice. I'd come back to get some work in!

Ordered a matcha latte, unfortunately there was only one person working and he was doing his best. I waited 15 mins for an Iced Matcha and he didn't even have time to properly whisk the matcha, I did have to add quite a bit of syrup as the drink seems to be unsweetened. Was disappointed that the matcha was not mixed, as much as I kept swirling my cup the matcha was just stuck to the cup. They should definitely get some more help. As they are super busy inside. I don't blame the employee for rushing my drink even though I waited 15 mins.

This cafe was quite busy on a weekday, but we able to sit on the couch. Got a latte and a croissant and it was the perfect combination, it was a bit messy with the powder sugar though. Latte was delicious.

A minimalist haven on 24th. Tucked away on the 24th Street corridor, Haus Coffee is the kind of spot you could easily walk past--there's no sign out front, no flashing indicator that some of the best coffee in the area is waiting inside. But step through the door, and you're greeted by warm wooden decor and a calm, minimalist atmosphere that makes you want to stay a while. The vibe is laid-back, the staff are friendly, and there's plenty of seating whether you're posting up with a laptop or catching up with a friend. Their menu is as minimal as the decor, but what they do, they do exceptionally well. I had their vanilla latte, and it was a beautifully crafted cup--smooth, flavorful, and topped with latte art that made me wish I had the skills to recreate it. The pastry selection is equally tempting, with buttery croissants and flaky danishes that look just as good as they taste. Haus Coffee doesn't shout for attention--it quietly delivers. You really can't go wrong coming here.

    * date visited: 08.04.2024 * ordered: hot latte * super cozy and beautiful interior with lots of seating -- also outdoor patio out back. the baristas are very kind and the coffee was smooth. milk froth was good and the art was beautiful :) price was fair too and they have a selection of pastries which i haven't had yet. will be visiting again for sure

Ordered an ice matcha latte & did not like it. I watched the barista make it and it was 95% milk. The color is super pale compared to a normal matcha latte that has a deeper green color. It tasted like straight milk over ice. Ambiance is nice; good for studying or working from. Lots of open seating and high ceilings. The seat I ended up sitting at had some crumbs on it and didn't feel that clean. Not sure if i will be back for the matcha but maybe I'll come back to try the coffee...

I like this coffee shop, for other ratings ig it really depends on when you come. I found that there was a lot of seating. Nice and minimal wood design, didn't even know it was a coffee shop till i went in. They have an outside area as well. They ran out of sourdough so I didn't try that. Coffee Latte 4.5/5: It was an actually a decent size for the price and had a nice creamy flavor and coffee flavor too it. Matcha Latte 3/5: It was to milky imo and not a strong enough matcha taste. If you like it that way it's perfect. There's a station with spoons as well, sweeteners, and water. The person working was really nice too.

Awesome spot in the Mission. Storefront is pretty unassuming, but the space is actually quite large with a ton of seating, and even an outdoors backyard with more tables. WiFi is available, but if you sit in the back, it's pretty unusable. There's also a kitty walking around which is super cute! I got a cortado, and it was really well made. Milk foamed super well, and had the perfect ratio. Beans were not my favorite; a bit too sour. Definitely a really good spot to get some work done (and I have gone back since to do so), but also solid enough coffee to just grab a drink and go!

Decent coffee with just okay pastries. We felt the croissants and the Danish were not flaky or that great. They tasted like something you could get at Whole Foods for cheaper. Standard coffee such as lattes and mocha. Nothing fantastic. Hard to find parking. Decent customer service and hardly any open tables, only one chair seating. This place is packed with remote workers.

Came here at 9 am on a weekday to cowork and it was already packed! I got the beetroot latte and the latte art was amazing. Stayed here for a few hours until they closed at 3 pm. I wish there were more outlets though.

It seems like there's also an upstairs but did not get the chance to check it out. I got an iced latte with their almond macadamia milk, and they're also so nice to do complimentary cold brew! So we got an extra drink for free. Trying the iced latte, it was pretty disappointing lol. I thought it would be similar to like a Hawaiian style latte with macadamia milk, but it was a lot lighter than I thought. It was definitely very nutty, but it also just tasted like water down latte. Honestly not much going on with the drink, but it does taste lighter in general. Crazy have to pay $1.50 more to add on this milk. Overall, its alright. I do like the natural lighting coming into the shop, but nothing too special.

But Katsu is really becoming the new hype of the day for Japanese food, following the Sushi, Ramen, Japanese Curry, Katsu trend. So I came in with a critical view. I feel like Yoshoku in general may be next but I yet again digress. The box sandwich came in a cute little box. The inside was packed so I couldn't get a chance to fully appreciate the cafe, but the service was nice though the pay line may have moved slower than hoped. I'll say this. This is "the" best katsu sando in the bay. The katsu is crispy, but little on the softer side. But this hardness matches perfectly with the absolutely tender, soft, juicy pork wrapped inside. I'm looking at the menu again and it all makes sense. The pork has been in shio koji, making the meat ever so tender while adding the subtle but complicated marinated flavor. The cabbage is plenty, but not over packed to take away from the main Katsu flavor. What really perfects it for me, was not only the sweet and savory katsu sauce, but the mayo with dash of I think a karashi mustard. That slight tingle, the perfect kick gives a powerful awakening of flavor that really sets the it apart. This is art, an artisan. Culinary art is the refuge no raging rampant AI slop "art" can ever hope to touch. Until the day we get some cyborg implant to our brain into gustatory, olfactory functions. Even then, I don't think any tasteless tech bro are hopeless to create anything unique or beautiful.
