Good vibes and an excellent chai latte! Perfectly creamy without being overly spicy. I recommend it with oat milk! The staff and baristas here are very kind. Drinks are made pretty quickly too. Free wifi allows for a chill environment to do work in. Be wary of street parking though. It's quite slim, as expected from the Mission. read more

Lovely little coffee corner, but I don't think they were quite ready for us this Friday morning. The gal was setting up when we arrived and the tables were in disarray. However, the coffee hit the spot. The Mexican mocha had subtle chocolate and spiced notes and was pretty delightful. Dropped in for an afternoon coffee. I heard good things from this Palestinian-owned local coffee shop so I wanted to give it a try. Inside was nice and warm, perfectly toasty compared to the cold, windy air outside. For a Wednesday afternoon, it was filled quite nicely inside. A good amount of people were seated chatting or doing work, but there was still a few tables free for us. We tried a cortado and their house latte. Both were great! The barista was friendly and we got our coffees quickly. Overall, it was a nice stop for coffee. read more

At the corner of the 24th and Harrison, temos coffee is a family owned, Palestinian owned coffee shop with a warm, welcoming vibe. There's lots of seating, amazing local artwork as well. I got the mission latte hot, it was super well spiced and delicious! They do hot/iced and have a variety of non-dairy milk options. We also got the pistachio blackberry croissant which was super good!! The pistachio filling paired very well the blackberry jam/spread inside. It is sweet, so good to share. The coffee comes out fairly quick and the service was kind. It's a nice place to meet someone and catch up, I didn't feel rushed at all. It was slow, easy, relaxing vibe. It was pretty busy around 1:30pm on Tuesday since there is limited seating (and it was a nice sunny day). There were no power outlets if you're on your laptop, but the wifi was quite fast. The cutest lowkey coffee spot on 24th x Harrison. My boyfriend & my favorite coffee beans for espresso in town... if you like a full bodied, less acidic coffee, you will like their Al Nasser beans (green bag). I got the chai latte with almond milk and it was a decent. What I like about temos is the soothing pink walls + all the plants. Came in around 10am and it felt like a very chill working cafe--lots of people journaling or on their laptops. Clean bathroom but no wifi. Walked to this coffee shop on a Thursday afternoon. The ambience was nice, and the place was clean. The space was decently open and not too crowded on a Thursday afternoon. The inside had unique interiors, and the vibe was cozy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I wanted to get their chai latte, and the staff told me that the owner makes their own mix in-house. Definitely piqued my interest :). I got it with almond milk. Even though the chai was flavorful, it was a bit too sweet for my taste. This was after I was told it was not too sweet. Oh well. This review is for the pastries mostly. Temo's now sources their pastries from Neighbor Bakehouse (iykyk) so the pastries are now on another level. Neighbor Bakehouse usually has a long line for their baked goods so I don't eat there as often as I would like. Their stuff rivals Tartine's so I was very stoked to see their pastries being offered here walking distance from my work. I haven't tried everything but you can't go wrong with the croissants. Highly recommend both the chocolate croissant and the ham and cheese croissant. They are a pure delight to bite into and just expertly done. It takes a lot of will power for me not to come here every day for a pastry. There is a lot of nice indoor seating still. The place gets a ton of natural light and the seating facing 24th Ave. makes for awesome people watching. The last time I was here I saw a man walk by with a giant bunny in a baby stroller. My favorite coffee shop in the neighborhood. Taste, service and latte art are always high. The price point is a little high as well ($6-7) which is why i go there when i want something special. There are sooo many coffee shops in the city, it's hard to stay loyal. I'm happy to say I found my new go to spot. You feel like you're at home here. From the beautiful decor, to the kindest barista and cashier- I could work from here everyday. Love supporting family owned businesses that have perfected their craft! They have all the neighbor bakehouse's pastries (their ham+cheese croissant is SO good), amazing coffee, and overall such a great vibe! Besides that, got the hot chocolate and the coffee tasting. I was surprised there was no explanation provided with the coffee- I figured it's all Honduran but an overview of some sort would have helped. I enjoyed all the coffees in there except the latte. Will visit again, earlier in the day so they are not out of their best sellers and try a different order.

They used a strawberry cream top instead of a puree, which I actually enjoyed. It added a nice creaminess to the drink, and the matcha was very smooth and strong. It worked well together. I also tried their double hojicha, and while I enjoyed how nutty and strong the hojicha was, I did find it a little bit grainy. I wish it was a little smoother like the matcha was. I usually don't drink/like coffee, but the guava cold brew sounded so interesting I couldn't resist. The fruity jasmine tea somehow paired so well with the coffee and made it a nice refreshing drink. I've…read moreheard this place has one of the best katsu sando around and as a lover of Katsu, I couldn't skip it. There's some good places in SF like Cafe Okawari. But Katsu is really becoming the new hype of the day for Japanese food, following the Sushi, Ramen, Japanese Curry, Katsu trend. So I came in with a critical view. I feel like Yoshoku in general may be next but I yet again digress. The box sandwich came in a cute little box. The inside was packed so I couldn't get a chance to fully appreciate the cafe, but the service was nice though the pay line may have moved slower than hoped. I'll say this. This is "the" best katsu sando in the bay. The katsu is crispy, but little on the softer side. But this hardness matches perfectly with the absolutely tender, soft, juicy pork wrapped inside. I'm looking at the menu again and it all makes sense. The pork has been in shio koji, making the meat ever so tender while adding the subtle but complicated marinated flavor. The cabbage is plenty, but not over packed to take away from the main Katsu flavor. What really perfects it for me, was not only the sweet and savory katsu sauce, but the mayo with dash of I think a karashi mustard. That slight tingle, the perfect kick gives a powerful awakening of flavor that really sets the it apart. This is art, an artisan. Culinary art is the refuge no raging rampant AI slop "art" can ever hope to touch. Until the day we get some cyborg implant to our brain into gustatory, olfactory functions. Even then, I don't think any tasteless tech bro are hopeless to create anything unique or beautiful.

We also tried the black sesame kouign amann, which was more reminiscent of a morning bun type pastry, and the cubano and the ham and cheese croissants, which were good but just lacking a little in flavor. Overall, Juniper has excellent pastries, and I'll definitely be sure to grab a plain croissant next time to try it out as well - some pastries pack a bit more flavor than others but given how quickly the like moves I'll definitely be back again to try some of their othering offerings soon!

They used a strawberry cream top instead of a puree, which I actually enjoyed. It added a nice creaminess to the drink, and the matcha was very smooth and strong. It worked well together. I also tried their double hojicha, and while I enjoyed how nutty and strong the hojicha was, I did find it a little bit grainy. I wish it was a little smoother like the matcha was. I usually don't drink/like coffee, but the guava cold brew sounded so interesting I couldn't resist. The fruity jasmine tea somehow paired so well with the coffee and made it a nice refreshing drink. I was also lucky enough to try the matcha crepe cake, which I believe they get from Lady M. It had really nice layers and was light, but unfortunately it was a little too sweet for me.
