This is my go-to coffee shop whenever my son has a basketball tournament nearby. Honestly, it's one of the reasons I get so excited for the breaks between games because it means I get to sneak away for a coffee. One thing I especially love about this location is that they also sell books and little trinkets. They even have a selection of books from Green Apple Books for just $5! Cheese toastie is good we added soft egg and also had soda farl with soft egg and mixed greens, The bread was soft and fresh. Feels like only had arugula in mixed greens. I personally don't enjoy runny eggs, but my husband loved them. The only thing I would have changed was the mixed greens on the side--they felt a little plain to me. I think a touch of black pepper or a light dressing would have enhanced them, but that's just my personal preference. I came to try their Original Plover with the Tasty Sunset coupon. I can only pick between that one or hot drip coffee. I heard it's their most popular drink, but I'm not a fan of it after trying. It's espresso with sparkling water, brown sugar syrup, and house made whipped cream. I really liked the whipped cream but I'm not a fan of espresso. Surprisingly I liked their hot coffee better which they gave out for free at the SF Environment event at Yerba Buena. I appreciate that they are environmentally friendly! We came here on a Sunday morning around 8am and there were maybe 6 people in line front of us. It did get really busy really quickly. In general, love the coffee here! I got a drip and my husband order matcha. My drink came out instantly but it took maybe 15 minutes for him to get his drink. Parking can be difficult to find (especially on Sunday) but not impossible. We found a spot about 2 blocks away. There is outdoor seating which is really nice if you want to enjoy the weather! You can get it without whipped cream and add any type of milk you want . We both enjoyed the flavors and we think that the hot one was better in terms of capturing all the flavors. Out of all the Andytown locations, this one felt my homey and peaceful. This lovely cafe with delicious food and coffee was the perfect spot to land on a foggy SF morning. I ordered an Original Bird plover and a cheese toastie with greens. My first time trying a plover and I have to say, the description of "espresso cream soda" is pretty spot on. I'd go so far as to say "coffee beer float," and I loved it! The sandwich was incredible, I wanted to order another one as soon as I finished it, but I'll save that craving for a future visit to Andytown. I enjoyed sitting in the open window seat bench, people watching and letting the ocean breeze cool my face. You live in the Bay Area deal with it. I was happy to be staying close by was able to get up and get breakfast and coffee before anybody would wake up, which was kind of nice. I typically get a cold brew in the morning with a little almond milk. It was delicious. I tried the strawberry cornbread muffin. It was fantastic. I tried the sausage roll the croissant around. If you ever wanted a spot to fully embrace the performative culture of a coffee in a neighborhood in a SF sunny day I have to say this place is pretty elite for this purpose. Dropped by here to grab a coffee after picking up my friends to head to Healdsburg. They have some interesting coffees including a Einspanner type coffee which seems to be their specialty. It's really good! There is some outdoor seating and the bathroom is a single use so maybe there would be a line. The aesthetics are pretty hipster and I kind of enjoy the large windows. It might be kind of hard to find seating but since we were just grab and go it didn't really affect us. Also parking is tough as usual but that's just SF. Will probably be back!! read more

Wow! I loved this place. Honestly found it by accident. It's right down the street from ocean beach and the inside is beautiful, they have treats for your dog, they have 2 big windows they leave open so you can feel the fresh breeze. Our team was looking around the area we were in for some coffee and this spot popped up on Yelp! It's located inside one of the salesforce buildings and isn't hard to find at all. The space itself is pretty large with many spots to sit and work after grabbing a drink. The lines were long when we arrived, but it goes pretty quick thanks to their efficient staff. I tried the coffee tonic "The Original Bird" and that was probably also my first time trying a coffee tonic ever! Been going through some personal s*** and spending my time at Andytown (Lawton) reading and decompressing and existentializing. As a beginner here, I'd just like to say that the human beans behind the counter are so very lovely, capable, and authentic. As I was waiting for my drink this morning, there was an situation by the espresso machines. And these two baristas were extraordinarily quick and calm, and managed to get everything back up and running within minutes. I doubt anybody noticed anything in line past the usual morning rush, and I don't want to say what happened because it was handled so beautifully. Yes, quality of beans matter, but this coffee shop is truly the sum of all the kind intelligent people serving us. Thanks for making this such a lovely place for me to process my life LOL. read more

WOW, updated review 8 years later? I visit Andytown every time I stay in Outer Sunset - and did often when I lived in the neighborhood. It's SUPER cool to see how much it's expanded. Love the parklet and massive interior, taking inspiration from the Salesforce location. My go-to drink is always the Snowy Plover, reliably leaving me wired for the rest of the day. I'll usually order a breakfast sandwich and pastry to keep me going all morning. Service is always friendly and efficient. I'm so impressed with how well they've done as a business! read more

One of my favorite coffee roasters in the Bay Area. Just a black coffee is delicious.

Very good coffee, it was very smooth. I bought some beans for home as well! The sandwich smelled and tasted delicious. Not a super long wait even though there was a line out the door. Unfortunately they have paper straws and by the time I got home, my coffee was not sucking through anymore and it was falling apart in my cup. Kind of defeats the purpose if I need to grab 2-3 instead of just one... All the seating is outside and there's plenty. I'm not sure about the wifi but I'm guessing they should have it. There were waiting benches to if the tables are all taken. Definitely coming back for a morning coffee on my dog walk. read more
