Took some years, but I'm a fan! Original Bird is delicious, didn't know sparkling espresso could taste like that haha drooling just thinking about it Iced Latte is also great Hoping to catch their Lavender Chai in the future!
Ambiance was decent and the server was very friendly and attentive. The cappuccino was good, and I also tried their coffee soda drink, which was a unique and interesting concept. Cheese toastie is good we added soft egg and also had soda farl with soft egg and mixed greens, The bread was soft and fresh. Feels like only had arugula in mixed greens. I personally don't enjoy runny eggs, but my husband loved them. The only thing I would have changed was the mixed greens on the side--they felt a little plain to me. I think a touch of black pepper or a light dressing would have enhanced them, but that's just my personal preference. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I'd be happy to visit again.
Went to the taraval location near the beach and had the snowy plover and the matcha plover. Did not disappoint. Staff were friendly and it was nice to sit in the back outdoor area.

Got the snowy plover a delicious blend of espresso with club soda over over topped with whipped cream. Perfect for a warm day in San Francisco! They have a variety of beans and grinds available for sale among all the specialty drinks. They also have a selection of sandwiches if you're feeling like it. Solid coffee, can't go wrong!
I came to try their Original Plover with the Tasty Sunset coupon. I can only pick between that one or hot drip coffee. I heard it's their most popular drink, but I'm not a fan of it after trying. It's espresso with sparkling water, brown sugar syrup, and house made whipped cream. I really liked the whipped cream but I'm not a fan of espresso. Surprisingly I liked their hot coffee better which they gave out for free at the SF Environment event at Yerba Buena. I appreciate that they are environmentally friendly! They encourage bringing your own mug by offering a discount which I did today. They also have oat milk, half and half, napkins, and sugar at the counter, but no Splenda.
A quick-pace, efficient coffee shop for someone wanting good coffee in a pinch. The baristas are focused yet still professional, and you get your coffee order fairly quickly. There was a long line on a Saturday morning when I visited, but I was still in and out with my order within a few minutes. I ordered a latte no syrup, which was rich in creaminess but the coffee quality was what made it superb. There's outdoor seating, although mainly in the shade. Dress warm if you're planning on dining in!
I love mango so knew I had to try this seasonal drink. The snowy mango plover was refreshing, a little creamy, and not super sweet. It's perfect for a hot day.

The flavors pair really well, the acidity of the sparkling water and espresso complement each other. The perfect amount of sweetness and creaminess, like a cream soda. Overall, it's very fun to try, will definitely get again. Matcha Plover: the sparkling-ness does not do as much for the matcha as it does for the coffee. Strong matcha flavor. Personally not a matcha person though. Ambiance: the store is very cute and by the beach. Was confused at first because its combined in a surf shop. Not a lot of seating, and was quite full on a Saturday morning
Got a classic cafe latte with soy milk which isn't pictured. It was pretty good. Honestly my favorite was this pictured breakfast sandwich. Loved the combination of toasted bread, savory cheddar cheese, ham, and a sunny side up egg with a runny yolk. Would definitely order that again!
I was scared of getting the Matcha Plover (Matcha + Sparkling Water) since other reviews either HATED the combo or LOVED it. But it was pretty decent honestly. I'd try the Matcha Latte next time though.
Pretty standard but solid SF coffee shop-$6-7 lattes with a bit of a line and wait on the weekends. Bakery items smelled delicious and we could see them being baked in house! Ordered the matcha latte and then enjoyed some of the outdoor seating available around the shop.
This review is just for the coffee and the service . My friend and I got the candied lavender latte, they got the ice one and I got the hot one. You can get it without whipped cream and add any type of milk you want . We both enjoyed the flavors and we think that the hot one was better in terms of capturing all the flavors. Out of all the Andytown locations, this one felt my homey and peaceful. This location is located in a quieter part of town, and probably the perfect location to grab a cup of coffee if you want to take a walk down the at the beach.

My first time trying a plover and I have to say, the description of "espresso cream soda" is pretty spot on. I'd go so far as to say "coffee beer float," and I loved it! The sandwich was incredible, I wanted to order another one as soon as I finished it, but I'll save that craving for a future visit to Andytown. I enjoyed sitting in the open window seat bench, people watching and letting the ocean breeze cool my face. What a great spot, I definitely plan to return and try more drinks, and course get that toastie again!

Ventured to the Andytown Coffee Roasters Outer Sunset location and was impressed. I got an iced pumpkin spice latte. The pumpkin flavor cut through the milkiness of the latte, it was smooth and creamy. The service was fast and the vibe of the coffee shop is quaint but inviting. With its close proximity to Ocean Beach, I enjoyed walking near the ocean after getting the drink. read more

I ordered a Hot Matcha Latte 5/5 It was really good. Right next to Rusty Ladle, is a cute coffee shop. Plenty of space to sit around and chill out with some coffee. Sit outside and enjoy a nice view of ocean beach from afar. Staff is friendly and order came timely. read more

Newest coffee shop obsession. Love the atmosphere and all the lovely pups hanging out! The outdoor seating area is adorable and comfortable. Staff is so friendly and the merch is freaking adorable. Con Panna was absolutely delicious and made my heart so happy. Can't go wrong with the breakfast sando, just what I was looking forward to and ended up trying the mochi muffin and oh man i'm so happy I did. I ended up finishing it before I even got to the sandwich. 10/10 highly recommend. read more
Loved coming to this coffee shop! The space itself was very calming and cute inside with a trendy design. They had plenty of bench seating indoors for while you wait. They had lots of outdoor seating too. Their coconut mochi muffin was delicious. Their homemade whipped cream was so thick and delicious! I asked for some on top of my latte. After hearing a LOT about the famed Andytown latte, I finally decided I had to check it out myself. I opted for a classic latte w/ whip. The service was relatively fast, and the cafe was small but cozy (this was their outer sunset location). While I enjoyed the rich, deep notes of the latte itself, I wish the whip was more integrated throughout the drink, but it's nice to look at as is! read more
Please is great! Staff are very friendly. Even with a long line they get through pretty quickly. On a nice day, they have amazing outdoor seating on a cold day. They have outdoor seating. You live in the Bay Area deal with it. I was happy to be staying close by was able to get up and get breakfast and coffee before anybody would wake up, which was kind of nice. I typically get a cold brew in the morning with a little almond milk. It was delicious. I tried the strawberry cornbread muffin. It was fantastic. I tried the sausage roll the croissant around. It was phenomenal and the sausage itself was delicious. Most wish I had maple syrup instead of HP sauce. Will definitely be back again . In the past, I tried the ones with soda, water, not my jam, but everything else is phenomenal read more
If you ever wanted a spot to fully embrace the performative culture of a coffee in a neighborhood in a SF sunny day I have to say this place is pretty elite for this purpose. Dropped by here to grab a coffee after picking up my friends to head to Healdsburg. They have some interesting coffees including a Einspanner type coffee which seems to be their specialty. It's really good! There is some outdoor seating and the bathroom is a single use so maybe there would be a line. The aesthetics are pretty hipster and I kind of enjoy the large windows. It might be kind of hard to find seating but since we were just grab and go it didn't really affect us. Also parking is tough as usual but that's just SF. Will probably be back!! read more
Yum!!! I have never tried sparkling coffee before, but decided to give it a try based on the barista's recommendation and I'm SO happy I did! I am a huge fan of sparkling beverages and the snowy plover - the original bird definitely hit the spot. The drink is very crisp and refreshing. I have tried similar drinks at other coffee shops and none have come close to the one at Andytown. I highly recommend giving the snowy plover a try! read more

Wow! I loved this place. Honestly found it by accident. It's right down the street from ocean beach and the inside is beautiful, they have treats for your dog, they have 2 big windows they leave open so you can feel the fresh breeze. The coffee tastes amazing tbh. And the workers are really nice as well. I would definitely come back again. I like it was more than the Java cafe up the street. Prices are not expensive. Gorgeous coffee shop. read more
this review is based off their matcha- tried the plover and i just could not get into it. idk why people enjoy it so much maybe more sugar would've made it taste better but personally it was not for me. i also tried a regular matcha latte and the matcha taste was lacking. their baked goods are decent but id reccomend getting a coffee here instead. read more
They roast their own beans. They control the quality of their bean process. Must be good coffee. Indeed it was a very good cup of coffee. I had The Original Bird which is a dessert - espresso with sugar, cream and bubbles. All their Plover bird merch designs are so cute. read more
Excellent coffee in the outer Sunset, this Andytown sits on Lawton Street, near Ocean Beach. Only window benches to sit inside, but lots of exterior seating available. Service is efficient. I got a Snowy Plover, which is an ice cold espresso with a fresh dollop of cream - puts the zing in the caffeine! read more
Our team was looking around the area we were in for some coffee and this spot popped up on Yelp! It's located inside one of the salesforce buildings and isn't hard to find at all. The space itself is pretty large with many spots to sit and work after grabbing a drink. The lines were long when we arrived, but it goes pretty quick thanks to their efficient staff. I tried the coffee tonic "The Original Bird" and that was probably also my first time trying a coffee tonic ever! It definitely tasted a little strange at first, but after mixing it and having a few sips, it grew on me. The best way I could describe it is almost like a sparkling coffee soda. Really glad I got to try this awesome spot when I was in the area! read more

This place is the epitome of what a coffee shop should be. Quality coffee with the usual options and the special carbonated drink, which is my go-to. The staff was created by the friendly handbook. And the place has abundance seating outdoors for chatter and social connections. I went on a Friday morning, and my oh my, love was in the air. Employees are hit or miss, the people working the register should be welcoming and have some customer service skills. $7 lavender latte. The strawberry corn muffin is delicious. Not too fast at making the lattes but hopefully they do it the right way. read more

I love that they have treats out for dogs. The open area is nice. Staff is very friendly. However, this rating is for the drinks. Their mocha wasn't even hot and didn't taste like chocolate when my dad ordered a hot mocha. The matcha plover also was kind of a weird combo. The sparkling water really threw me off. I personally didn't like it. The matcha also just tasted like grass. Not sure the hype around the drinks here :( read more
