Love the coffee here. I've tried a few of their pour overs, the coffee flight (single origin coffees served four ways), and the competition cappuccino - all were excellent. The black sesame kouign amann is great too. Service was friendly and efficient. There are plenty of seats inside, though it can get crowded on weekends. It's best to come early in the morning to skip the line.

I passed by this place while riding the N Muni, and I immediately bookmarked it! I'm so glad I did. Saint Frank is a gorgeous, aesthetically-pleasing coffee shop located in the Inner Sunset. My friends and I grabbed pastries nearby and coffee at Saint Frank before heading to the De Young museum for the Monet exhibit. It was a perfect day! The coffee at Saint Frank is delicious. You can tell this is a coffee shop made for coffee lovers. There were lots of people hanging out at the indoor and outdoor tables, including several people working from the coffee shop. The service was quick and friendly, as well. I highly recommend grabbing a coffee here and enjoying it in the park!

Saint Frank Coffee has taken over the previous Starbucks spot at this Irving location and I think it's a definite upgrade. The coffee is really good; the interior design is modern; the lighting is brighter; staff is friendly. Really good spot to hang out. The lines can get long but move fairly quickly. Prices are consistent with other coffee shops. We tried both the Latte and the Mocha. Both drinks have excellent coffee. The mocha is not very sweet and they use mocha syrup instead of that power stuff. They also offer a few pour over options which I haven't yet tried.

Thank GOD there's a Saint Frank on the park side of town now! Saint Frank is one of the first coffee shops I ever tried in San Francisco and it certainly helped set the bar extremely high. So coffee - no question on the quality here. And Juniper pastries? YAY The space is absolutely gorgeous - on a sunny day it's especially airy and bright. I haven't come on a weekend yet, but on weekdays the vibe definitely feels more like a coworking space (fortunately or unfortunately, depending on what you're looking for), due to the presence of the long communal table in the front. The location is also perfect as it's right in the busy part of the Inner Sunset near lots of cute shops and restaurants.

Pros: A lot of seating; visually appealing; friendly staff; the pastries look good (the plain croissant was flaky and buttery) Cons: The coffee was not made right. The pour over I got was not even lukewarm and the taste was very sour and you could not taste the notes or flavor profiles. I would still give this place a try and try another pour over or a different drink just bc the workers are so kind and I like the ambiance.

San Francisco is expanding and it is in many areas of the city . You have lots of new places to go grab a drink and places to eat. It seems San Francisco also has business which have more than two locations that are homegrown. One place in the Inner Sunset serves their own roast of coffee and also offers the 2024 best awarded croissant in San Francisco via Juniper. It's located across the street of another similar homegrown chain of restaurants known as Super Duper Burgers. This place is also a namesake of San Francisco but in English and it's called Saint Frank. On a 2026 stroll on the Sunset Strip of San Francisco on Irving street you where the former Starbucks stood you can smell a different coffee roasting. Inside Saint Franks it's very spacious with lots of seating. I ordered their mocha and it was not too sweet. I also had ordered the traditional croissant. The croissants have been awarded the best in San Francisco and to me it was flakey like most in SF. The croissant was buttery and tasty. This is a good new spot in the Sunset Strip of San Francisco. Smell the roast of different coffee made in a different "fashion"people inside on their phones and laptops focus trying to avoid physical "distraction"some doing it for work and other working on their "passion" another business San Francisco "expansion" A new business in SF on "board "where coffee art is "poured "and a place which has Juniper croissants won the best San Francisco croissants "award" and in San Francisco business in the last year have " soared"

Ok I had to go in here because the Polk street store has the most delicious coffee. This place was a little disappointing. The coffee we ordered two cappuccino s was like warm no excuse. The pastries were nice but a hame and cheese pastry should have offered to heat it up . The servers were quite young maybe not too well trained who knows . It is a shame maybe a fluke cause they were busy . The place is new and clean it replaced a Starbucks which I never visited

Don't skip the pastries! Saint Frank Coffee is a great option to get Juniper croisssant if you're unable to go to Juniper's. I can't comment about the coffee though as I'm a casual coffee drinker. Give me any cuppa as long as it's gotta lotta milk, I'm good. Just to set expectations, the wait time when I went on a busy Sunday morning was 25 minutes. What's nice is when you reach the front, you place your order and they prepare it right after. So that means no wait after placing an order, okay maybe just 3 minutes, 5 mins tops. I wouldn't stay here to do some work or chill, the space is loud. I'm just glad I got my Juniper fix!

Beautiful, open, and spacious coffee shop. I came today at around 2pm. There was a line when I arrived but it moved pretty quick. I was in and out 10 minutes or under. I ordered an iced Maple Pine Latte, subbed House Almond Macadamia Milk (+$1.50). Flavor wise, this was okay. I think the pine just didn't fit my taste preference. Otherwise, the coffee was good.

I came by Saint Frank recently to specifically try their competition cappuccino which comes with a single origin espresso shot, their signature milk with a blend of whole milk and coconut milk, and the combined espresso. It's such a great experience trying both separate and then together. You can really taste how the milk balances out the bright espresso and creates a great creamy, rich cup of cappuccino. Definitely recommend that you try this if you want a unique coffee experience!

The long-awaited opening of Saint Frank in the Inner Sunset is now here! Formerly Starbucks, the space has been transformed with a beautiful light wood interior that creates an airy feel, especially with the morning light shining in. There was a good amount of seating with a common big table, a long wall bench, and some smaller tables inside as well as some tables outside. The person taking our order was friendly and informative. Our iced latte and iced pumpkin spice latte were tasty, and I'd like to try the flight next time. What a great addition to the Inner Sunset neighborhood!

Oat Latte & Maple Pine Oat Latte (seasonal)

St. Frank Coffee has completely refreshed the old Starbucks space, and it looks beautiful. Bright, white, and clean inside, with a bathroom that's actually pleasant to use. Morning lines are totally manageable and move fast. Solid pastry selection. Parking is metered all around, but it's free before 9am--pro tip. Tried an oat latte and the seasonal maple pine latte. Oat latte was great. The maple pine wasn't for me (tasted a bit like vegetable juice), but that's personal preference. Stick to the classics--maple oat latte or a drip coffee never disappoints. Gorgeous decor, amazing service. Worth the stop.

Beautiful Scandinavian style coffee shop, much needed in the inner sunset area! Large shop with high ceilings and plenty of seating, which does fill up fast! Of note, there are no outlets and there's no WiFi available on weekends if you're planning to work out of here. I'm giving this place 4/5 stars since it's a nice clean space with friendly staff but the coffee I got was more 3/5. I got a standard latte, which was not very rich in espresso. Might try a pour over for next time.

You either have reservations or you're a walk in and you stand in line until a table is available for you. At first this was strange, but I think it makes for a better experience. The team was incredible, they were so kind on a day that can be stressful for a small restaurant. We had incredible food. I was so happy to get my Eggs Royale and my husband said the French toast was the best he's ever had. (Even comparing it to French toast in Paris) No notes. This will be our Mother's Day place going forward next time with reservations.

It seems like this place is an asian fusion brunch place incorporating french dishes into thai/asian themed dishes which is up our alley. We made a reservation at 1:45 PM and we had to wait for about an extra 30 minutes before getting seated. Initially, I wanted to try their crab fried rice but unfortunately they were out of crab. We decided to get the Alcatraz Escape and the Brioche french toast which were recommended by the wait staff. The staff was generally friendly and accommodating but I can tell they were swamped and stressed out with all the people they were trying to serve. The food itself tasted decent, the Alcatraz Escape had a tasty flavor which incorporates tom yum paste (sweet, sour, tangy flavor) into their scramble with about 4 shrimps. The side of crispy chicken was good but nothing that stood out to us. The brioche was soft but there wasn't much flavoring besides the fruits and caramelized banana. It was served with evaporated milk which made the brioche soft but not adding much flavor to it. The price however was quite pricey. For two dishes as a side we paid around $78 with tax and tip.

It was my daughter's first time and she loved it just as much as I did. We came during restaurant week so we decided to get the Creole Sampler so she could try a bunch of different items. (Sampler included red beans and rice, collard greens, fried catfish, hush puppies, plain beignet and gumbo). We also ordered the beignet flight and shrimp and grits. Plenty of food for the 2 of us, plus we had left overs. I can't not order the shrimp and grits. It's just so damn good! It's so rich and flavorful! It came out SUPER hot. Grits and cheese still bubbling. My daughter and I were both surprised she liked the collard greens. She's usually not a fan. She also liked the red beans and rice and she doesn't usually like beans either. That just goes to show how amazing the food is here! We came in around 4something pm on a rainy Sunday. There weren't many people there, but by the time we left it was more than half full. Service was friendly, and there was a band playing, which was a nice touch.
