Just like it is in the name, this cafe has its charm. I ordered their specialty coffee for got what it was but it was good! Definitely on the sweeter side so if you like your coffee sweet, this is the place for you. Also ordered their breakfast burrito which was simple but filling!
The cutest little quaint Latinx owned coffee shop on Ocean. Charm Coffee & charming it is and, the coffee is solid. Loved that they were playing reggaeton too. Will def be back.
Came here to work since I had a power outage, solid wifi. Although the space is small, the layout is great and festive. Enough seating, both mix of both indoor and outdoor space. Order a latte ($5.75) which contained pretty good coffee beans, some cherry and chocolate notes. The barista was quick at making the drinks. The matcha is hand whisk here as well which is awesome to see. In addition, the baked goods are from local bakery in Noe Valley and there's also warm food. I'll come to try the food next. Overall, a wonderful coffee place to work and hangout.
Charm is a slightly sleepy neighborhood coffee shop on Ocean Ave. It is surprisingly spacious in the store as both walls are lined with cozy seating. If it's a nice day then there's also some tables and a bench outside as well, which is perfect for people watching or just enjoying some sunshine. I stopped in to surprise the wifey with some pre-Valentine's day coffee. I ordered a blueberry latte with almond milk for her and a cold brew for myself. The blueberry latte is made with homemade syrup which gave it a nice touch. The cold brew was silky smooth but packed enough energy to help jumpstart my day! Overall fantastic experience, and of course Yummy Certified!

I got the matcha latte with oat milk and it wasn't sweetened which was nice. I preferred the taiwanese motomami latte, we got it half sweet -- I think any sweeter would be too sweet!
I definitely felt seen here! Sweet baristas that know their craft, welcoming and friendly staff that look out for their customers wellbeing and safety! Such an adorable little coffee shop with two window seats available on both sides of entrance. They have mild blends of Latin American coffees, which my sensitive stomach can handle and on top of that- THEY'RE ORGANIC!!! I got a regular coffee, which had a beautiful light, fruity acidic smell with a semi creamy or nutty aftertaste. It paired wonderfully with my butter croissant! My friend enjoyed his matcha latte and a morning bun! I loved their honey inside sitting area, but since we just came from yoga, we wanted to sit outside in the fresh air. I will definitely come back here again, especially since I found out they also have hojicha! I love that rich flavor and the fact it's not too sweet or harsh on my sensitive stomach. Hee
This is such a cute little coffee spot! The interior is such a vibe, I saw lots of locals come in the whole time I was there. There is not much seating so expect to take your coffee to go. I got the mocha with oat milk and it was crafted nicely but I felt like there wasn't that much coffee taste - the oat milk overpowered the espresso a little too much, I will try it with whole milk the next time.
Okay I have to say it - this place is so CHARMing! It's a tiny spot on Ocean Ave, but the logo makes it stand out. The interior is red and white and quirky, and the staff are sweet and patient. We loved the chai and matcha lattes that they blended. They took their time making our drinks, and we appreciated the attention to detail. They were delicious, and we love having them on Ocean Ave!
Such a cute new neighborhood coffee shop on Ocean Ave, right across the street from 24 Hour Fitness. I've been complaining for years that Ingleside needs more coffee shops, and this is the perfect little addition! I ordered the holiday drink, a cranberry espresso tonic, and my fiancé ordered the regular espresso tonic. Both were delicious and super refreshing. There's limited space inside, so it's not the most ideal spot for working, but it is a wonderful place to sit, relax, and enjoy a great cup of coffee with a pastry on a Sunday morning. There's also plenty of residential parking nearby, which is always a plus! Will definitely be back!
Hojicha latte ($6): 3/5. It was very earthy and completely unsweetened which isn't really my cup of tea. It lacked the sweet undertones of good hojicha so I'd probably try something else next time. Breakfast burrito ($11): 5/5. I got this with soyrizo and it was chef's kiss. Came with a side of fresh pico de gallo and a packet of tapatío for some more flavor but honestly no extra seasoning was needed. Service: Pretty fast. Came here on a sunday around 11am and it wasn't super busy.

It seemed like a group of run club people stopped by here to grab coffee. Matcha Latte with Earl Grey: 4.5/5 I would say the Earl Grey matcha was pretty good. I like how it gave a little kick to the matcha. Matcha Latte with Lavendar: 4/5 The matcha at charm is good, lavendar added a bit of floral taste to the drink. It was good. Tuna Melt: 3/5 It was alright. Breakfast Sandwich: 3/5 EHHH idk if i loved this.
Stopped by here for some lattes and ordered their holiday specials. We got their gingerbread latte and peppermint mocha and both were equally good. Both drinks weren't too sweet, which I loved! I'd definitely would love to try their other drinks/food when I come back. I'd recommend trying this spot out!
Avocado toast is excellent, so fresh and delicious. Lots of good pastries. Slow service, but really nice spot overall.

This is truthfully my new favorite coffee shop in the city. Latinx-owned, just enough seating to never feel busy, and great food to match the great drinks. I went on a weekday and was hoping to get some work done. Most of the seats were available when I got there and the staff kindly shared the WiFi. They were overall extremely friendly and just their vibe made me want to go back again. I think a pitfall of a lot of SF coffee shops is the food, but both the drinks and food were superb and just what I needed to kickstart my day. They have unique flavors and seasonal drinks. I'm inspired to make my way through the menu! PS if you're a transit girly like me, this is right along the K line! read more
San Francisco is full of coffee shops and there is so many different ones throughout the city neighborhoods offering their own brand of charm. You can go for blocks in SF and find hardly any coffee shops and then go to certain neighborhoods where there are more than one coffee shop within a block. There is one located on Ocean ( not salty one ) Avenue in SF which has its own charm with drinks and pastries and it is called Charm Coffee. On a Summer stroll where rain drops fall and the sun comes out after I landed on Ocean ( not the beach) avenue. Inside Charm Coffee you will see a menu with toast and jam and grilled cheese like some in SF but you will also find avocado toast and cheesy quesadillas. They also matcha for Don Juan de la Matcha. I got the iced mocha which had a smooth taste and it was refreshing. I then I got the butter croissant which was flakey like some I seen on my social feed in SF. This place is a good place to make a pit stop on Ocean avenue. There is a "place" away from the "rat race" in SF which is a coffee shop with its own flavor and "taste" with a slower "pace" The weather is unpredictable in the Summer you better cover your "arm"and also be "alarm"if it rains you can go to a place to get organic coffee straight out a Latin American "coffee farm" and the place is on Ocean not the salty beach in SF but the avenue and it's called " Charm" read more
Very cute little coffee spot. The mocha is probably one of the best I've ever tried and the pastries are good too. It feels nice to be able to sit outside in the neighborhood and chill for a bit. Place is clean, smells like incense and has a relaxing set up inside with a couple of tables outside. read more

Absolutely loved this charming place. My boyfriend and I dropped by at around 10am for a nice morning pick-me-up. Be prepared to wait as there's only 1-2 people making the drinks + some staff in the back making the food. It's a fairly small coffee shop. We both didn't mind the wait! The line really picked up after we got to queue. I ordered an iced matcha latte with oat milk + extra matcha powder. I also purchased a matcha tin they were selling. It was mixed with a chasen & chawan which I was happy to see. Overall - worth the wait. The color of the matcha was beautiful and exactly what I look for. Strong in matcha flavor + they use my favorite oat milk brand. 10/10. I am typically very picky about my matchas but this one was really great. Can't wait to come back! read more

Super cute coffee shop on Ocean Ave! Aptly named, this place is very charming! Charm is currently decked out in a mix of Lunar New Year and Valentines Day decor, including cute floral arrangements on tables. Came in on a Friday around 9am. It's a cozy spot with a small amount of table and counter seating that seems to attract a lot of locals (quite a few came in and out during my visit). I can't resist a seasonal special, so ordered one of the Valentine drinks, the BerryChoco--Licious Latte, and it was yummy! Not overwhelming sweet, made with their homemade strawberry and chocolate syrup. Really enjoyed it and was tempted to get their matcha special before heading out... Edit: I got it and it was yummy! Classics played on the radio and yummy pastries from Black Jet Baking were available. Was pleasantly surprised by this local spot but highly recommend! read more

Bleh. When I walked in, the barista (and I think owner) was happily chatting up a group who already had their drinks. If it was just for a minute, that'd be one thing, but I stood there for a good 4-5 minutes, completely ignored and feeling so awkward and like I had intruded. Not a "I'll be right with you" or anything to that effect. When she finally got to me, the energy and cheer just fled her body. It was just jarring to experience such a contrast in service. I'm not sure why I received different treatment. Maybe I'm too old for a super duper Gen Z cafe. The almond matcha latte was okay. Like other reviews noted, it was too milky. My hunch is that this place is best for syrupy fun flavors. read more

Cute little spot close to City College, SF. They offer out of the box flavors like black sesame coffee. I was not sure what to get and the service person helped me choose. She is friendly enough and really gave me some insights on what the flavors are, she was patient and honest about the taste of what they offer. Although I am not into these flavors, it is worth the shot to try different kinds of coffee mixes. read more
Visited on a Sunday morning around 9am, there were a few other guest visiting but not too busy. Cafe is fairly small with maybe 10-15 seats so very cozy. Drinks: Oat nog cappuccino (8oz)- a special for the holidays, this was delicious, nice warm spices with some creaminess and a light sweetness reminiscent of eggnog, really enjoyed this because it wasn't too heavy or rich, had great balance of oat milk, espresso and eggnong flavor, definitely worth a try if you like eggnong Drip coffee - solid well balanced, nice roasted coffee flavor, not too acidic, and a standard small is 12oz Service was good, only one person at the register taking orders and making coffee so might be a small wait as they service guest but warm friendly and welcoming. Overall a nice addition to Ingleside, good coffee and espresso drinks. Pastry selection is pretty limited was just pan dulce on our visit but they have a nice small breakfast menu as well which I'd like to comeback to try. read more

Small coffee shop in the Ingleside neighborhood. Tried the mocha latte today and it was really good. The chocolate is house made and syrup based not powder chocolate. The chocolate is very settle and not over powering. Coffee is really smooth. read more

3.5 STARS Coffee enthusiasts can ignore my review as this is strictly for Charm Coffee's Matcha Latte. I requested an Iced Matcha Latte w/ whipped cream aka Matcha Einspänner ($7), and they came through! I was excited to see that the matcha was hand-whisked to order but sadly, the matcha latte tasted like sweetened oat milk. There was no earthy vegetal bitterness. I really liked the creamy rich, airy whipped cream tho. It had a slight coconutty flavor so I wonder if it was made from coconut milk/cream. 3 Stars. I'll need to return for their baleada (Honduran soft taco)! O T H E R I N F O: * Charm Coffee opened in August 2024 in the former Kaisen Don space. * Menu - Coffee (Linea) + Espresso Drinks, Matcha, Tea, Hot Chocolate ($3.50-$6.50). Dairy subs (+.50 cents). Coffee is good but the service (especially for the food and to get your order in) is considerably slow. We waited about 20 minutes for our burrito, only to find out they put the wrong meat. It then took another 15 minutes for her to get the correct burrito out to us. It's a cute and as the name implies, charming coffee shop but I definitely think it can be hit or miss and if you come at a busier hour, it might be a miss! read more

New coffee shop on Ocean Avenue. Smaller, easy to choose from menu with all the classics as well as some fun flavors. Check out the seasonal options as well if you're into a fall treat! I ordered an iced snickerdoodle latte with oat milk (off the seasonal menu). My partner ordered the Dirty Chai with whole milk. Both had good you could taste and were a subtle sweet treat. I wish there was stronger cinnamon and spices, especially in the chai. Good friendly service. Indoor seating, good for a slow morning but not as much room to spread out if you're looking for a study spot. Will def be back to try their other options. I see lots of reviews about their matcha, will have to get that next time! read more

Ocean Ave was sorely missing a third wave style coffee shop and I'm so happy that Charm Coffee opened up! Don't get me wrong, if you're looking for a place to work and hang, you might be better served at Java down the street. And of course, if you want Philz cuz you need some Mint Mojitos in your life, I get that too. But, if you are craving some top notch coffee (Linea is some of the best coffee to be had in SF) to break the literal and physical fog with some bomb pastries (Black Jet Baking Co) to boot... Charm Coffee is the spot to go! I also love that the founders are Ingleside locals and that Charm Coffee is on a section of Ocean that could use a little more foot traffic and love. Consider me charmed. Welcome to the neighborhood! read more
