My expectations were surpassed! [[HIGHLIGHT]]What a cute cafe and what a beautiful view of the golden gate.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The cashier was helpful when I asked what she recommended. We ended up sharing the hot turkey melt sandwich and an ube cookie. Both were divine. The drinks were soo cute and both had great flavors. I loved my banana matcha creamy and not too sweet.

I recently stopped by for an afternoon coffee pick-me-up while walking around the Golden Gate Bridge / the Presidio and was excited to try the Caramelized Banana Latte. This location is always super busy with tourists and locals alike but luckily the line wasn't too bad on a random Wednesday. The latte was great with a housemade banana spice syrup which reminded me of a banana version of a pumpkin spice latte. Love that it wasn't too sweet and the iced latte really hit the spot. This Equator location also sells warm paninis, salads, and breakfast burritos!
It wasn't a cozy spot by any means, but it was functional if you happen to be walking on, around, or near the Golden Gate Bridge. On the upside, this coffee stop is a solid reuse of a historic 1938 circular Art Deco building. The surprisingly robust menu consists of coffee options, sandwiches, and light fare like avocado toast and quinoa bowls. Not remotely hungry, I came in here just before embarking on my windswept walk on the bridge. Surprisingly it wasn't packed with tourists, just lightly congested unfortunately with a touch of rudeness from both customers and staff. I don't know what encouraged the brusque behavior and curt interactions, but it made me want to minimize my time in here. I ordered the $5.50 Rooibos Chai Latte which satisfied my need for pre-hiking fuel (Photo 7). I'm not overly excited to return, but a future bridge walk might force me to change my mind. My family and I wanted to walk the Golden Gate Bridge and stopped here afterwards for a treat. Kudos to the workers here, they had non-stop lines of people for the hour we spent here. The workers were nice, the drinks were decent, and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the view of course was beautiful.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]If you sit inside you can get some great photos of your drinks/food or yourself with the bridge in the background.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]When we got here there was no seating inside or anywhere to stand either.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat outside and enjoyed our drink.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]
The Ice Habibi completely won me over. It was refreshing, unique, and honestly one of the highlights of my visit. I also ordered the turkey panini, which was super delicious. The arugula added the perfect fresh, peppery flavor that really elevated the sandwich. On top of the food, the location is unbeatable. You get an incredible view of the Golden Gate Bridge while enjoying your meal, which just makes the whole experience even better. Great food, very nice staff, amazing drinks, and a view you can't beat!
Found this cafe on Yelp when we were making our itinerary and chose it because it had the best view! We were right to come here, as the coffee was amazing! I had the matcha latte with strawberry cream top! My friend had one of the seasonal drinks (we can't remember rn but it was the one that wasn't an orange/citrus drink) and said it was good!! The pastries were very sweet and crispy! Though I wish there was an option to have them warmed up Servers were warm and friendly! They were even patient with other customers who I overheard were complaining about the wait time
We were told we had to stop by for a coffee after walking the Golden Gate Bridge, and it was the best recommendation. Not only was it a nice reprieve from the rain, but it has such gorgeous views of the Golden Gate Bridge. We were here in November, and it was surprisingly empty. But you could see the signs where it said it would be more than an hour wait for a drink. So definitely be prepared to wait in line to order and wait for your drink to be made during the peak tourist season. Few seating options - there's bar seating facing outward toward the Golden Gate Bridge. Otherwise, a few tables and that's it. Better for a grab-and-go when it's busy. But if you have the opportunity, it's super nice to relax at the bar and enjoy the view. We only got drinks, but their seasonal Red Velvet Iced Matcha Latte was decent. Didn't quite hit the flavors for my preference, but it still hit the spot. Overall, a good spot to get a quick snack or caffeine-fix. Nice to sit and relax if it isn't too busy.
I found this place on TikTok and decided to give it a try. I went early on a Saturday there's parking right next to the cafe and there's also an overload parking. This is next to the golden gate. There's a lot of walking paths as well as bikes. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is busy and has a ton of tourists.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's nice and open you can see the menu as soon as you walk in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They have a pretty good selection of coffee and ready to grab orange juice. The prices were okay for there to be a lot of tourist it wasn't over priced. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It does have the best view you'll ever want.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Then you can walk around get your steps in with your coffee. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There was a ton of bathrooms outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We had a pretty good experience.

The staff here is so badass. The line stays long and they treat everyone very well in such a timely manner. Can't imagine it's easy working in a high-traffic tourist spot, so I was super impressed. The menu is awesome with many great specialty and classic drink options, plus yummy food and pastries. [[HIGHLIGHT]]And, of course, the view is unbeatable. Trying to exercise early - what better place than the Golden Gate Bridge! Walk or run, the miles across the span is a great workout. This coffee spot is at the beginning of GGB and a perfect spot to grab a drink! I got the Habibi latte was it was delicious! I loved the cardamom taste but wished the espresso was a little stronger! Service is super quick and friendly, and you get a great view on a sunny day read more

Cute cafe with an amazing view of the Golden Gate Bridge. Be prepared for a long line but the drinks and pastries with the view are worth it. The ube croissant was super yum and not too sweet!!! Yayayayayyaayayayayyay so yummy, Their cardamom fika bun is so good I recommend it! There is a wait, but what do you expect from a cafe by the golden bridge. Be patient and enjoy your coffee, tea, and snacks! I also overheard they make their own syrups so no sugar free options :) read more
I am not a tourist I'm from the Bay Area, but walking across The Golden Gate Bridge was on my bucket list. I drive across all the time headed to my Dad's house in Daly City. This was my third bridge where I have walked. It was so many people out enjoying not only the bridge but the weather and lots of photos being taken. After parking I stopped in the Equator Round House for a cup of coffee and a turkey panini sandwich, both were great. I couldn't help but notice the gelato ice cream in the freezer near the counter. The bread used to make the panini sandwich was to die for. I look at San Francisco as being the French Bread Capital, it has some of the best. Visited Round House Cafe for the first time on a weekday and it wasn't too busy at all. I recommend parking at the Battery East Trail lot and walking up--it's an easy stroll and avoids the congestion closer to the bridge. There was no line when I went in. I ordered an iced vanilla oat milk latte, which was just okay--not bad, but nothing memorable. Service was fast, which I appreciated. They have a mix of tables, high tops, and some outdoor seating, so there are plenty of spots to sit and take in the views. Overall, it's a convenient stop if you're sightseeing at the Golden Gate Bridge and want to grab a coffee without much wait. read more

Round House Café truly delivers one of the most iconic experiences in San Francisco, the views are absolute perfection, right by the Golden Gate Bridge[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. The coffee is excellent (featuring Equator Coffees), and their matcha latte is just as good. Good cafe located right next to the Golden Gate Bridge. Unfortunately, we were informed the systems were slow so our wait time on line was long, but we didn't need to wait too long for our drinks after ordering. The coffee and hot chocolate were great and decently priced! The baristas were friendly and they also have a good selection of pastries and breakfast foods. A nice pick-me-up if you walk on the trails before heading up to the cafe. Would come again on my next visit to SF. read more
We took the bus all the way out to Equator round house, and the bus literally dropped us off right in the parking lot--super convenient and honestly such a fun way to get here. The views are absolutely incredible. You get an amazing, up-close view of the Golden Gate Bridge, and that alone makes this spot worth visiting. There's also a small gift shop nearby with tons of fun souvenirs, which was a nice bonus. As for the coffee itself, it was just okay. I personally found it not strong enough for my taste. I also asked if they could warm up my pastry, but they weren't able to because they had something else in the oven at the time, which was a little disappointing. That said, the location is really what makes this place special. I'd definitely stop by again if I wanted to enjoy the Golden Gate Bridge views--just maybe not for the coffee alone. read more

Nestled atop a small hill, Round House is the perfect place to have a bite and a sip with a spectacular view of the Golden Gate Bridge! Here you can find an assortment of sandwiches, pastries and really good coffee! We opted for their seasonal drinks- Red Velvet latte & Autumn Spice latte. We also ordered kids hot chocolates which both were adorned with beautiful latte art! The staff were very friendly and inside was clean. Outside there is very limited seating with just a few small benches, perfect for people watching & relaxation. Overall a great must see spot while making your way to the bridge itself. I was skeptical of this spot at first. I thought the positive reviews were mostly because of the picturesque views. But I was wrong. Not only are the views amazing, but the coffee and hot chocolate were absolutely perfect. We had a vanilla latte, a mocha with oat milk, and hot chocolates. Everything was delicious. The staff was very friendly, and even on a somewhat busy day, our order was ready quickly. As of 11/30, the nearby parking lots were blocked off. We found a small paid parking lot up the hill near the baseball fields. read more
Seems pretty overrated. Not alot to choose from and very little flavors to add. My daughter wanted a caramel drink and all they had was a brown butter caramel. I ordered a chai tea and it was kind of bland. Seems like you're just paying for the experience and location. read more

Round House Café has an easy, laid-back vibe, and the bright, curved space feels like a little break from the city rush. I ordered the tomato soup, though it tasted more like a pumpkin blend or a mix of both. The warm bread it came with was a nice touch. The roasted veggie panini was the standout for me -- really flavorful and put together well. The almond croissant was also delicious with that perfect soft inside and crisp outside. After walking the bridge in the chilly winds, I tried the Habibi latte and it hit the spot. My friend ordered the autumn latte, but it was a bit too sweet for us. Drinks were great and had a good variety of unique flavours. It does seem like they're almost always out of the breakfast burrito though. Service was friendly. Pricey but you are paying for an incredible view so it makes sense. read more

I had such a great experience at Equator Coffees! I ordered their iced strawberry matcha latte and it was amazing perfectly balanced with just the right amount of sweetness. I also tried the chocolate croissant, which was delicious and flaky. I only wish it had been warmed up, but their oven wasn't working at the time, which is totally understandable. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall, I loved everything the food, the drinks, and especially the view.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] For being a tourist heavy spot, the service was impressively fast. I came back from a nice morning walk on the Golden Gate and I thought I'd come check this place out. The inside was packed which didn't surprise me considering this place is located near a tourist attraction. But the line moved surprisingly quickly. This spot is perfect for enjoying scenic views good drinks, and light eats. Try it out if you like. :) read more
We walked the Golden Gate on our 31 mile hike of Marin Headlands. I was giddy to see this shop at the San Francisco terminus of the Golden Gate Bridge because coffee sounded so good! Alas, we were 5 minutes late and they already took last orders. The building is special and offers nice views. I am definitely coming back and trying the coffee next time. Round House Café - Golden Gate Views Worth the Stop Round House Café by the Golden Gate Bridge is one of those stops that's all about the location -- and it delivers. Sitting here with a drink and that iconic view just steps away feels like a true San Francisco moment. I ordered the iced hibiscus tea, which was crisp and refreshing, and we also tried the fresh-squeezed orange juice. Both were excellent. The cookie was decent, but the drinks were the real standouts. My husband tried the Habibi iced coffee -- not his usual choice -- and said it was fine but nothing spectacular. When we first arrived, the parking lot above the café was packed and chaotic, so we left and came back later. Pro tip: skip the upper lot and park in the paid lot below, scan to pay, and walk up the stairs (about five minutes). It's faster and far less stressful. It was crowded when we first came through, but returning later paid off -- we scored incredible seats right in front of the bridge. Also worth noting: don't leave valuables in your car; we noticed broken glass nearby. I was leading a family trip to SF since my relatives from Texas came to visit for the holidays. Considering the fact that they have not viewed the Golden Gate Bridge up close 10 years before, I decided to bring them to this cafe for our first destination. This location was our rest stop before heading to the Japanese Tea Garden. All in all, the drinks were fairly decent, sandwiches solid for what they are as well as home much they costed. My sister got the Matcha Mint Chocolate latte while I got the Red Velvet latte. Both were good for a caffeine fix. We also got the chicken salad and the B.L.A.T. Pretty tasty sandwiches while watching the Golden Gate Bridge. In terms of service, it gets pretty busy due to the tourism. Be prepared to wait for a while for your drink. read more
