Love that place why near the courtyard hotel. A bit pricey but good food, pleasant service. Been going there each time I visit San Francisco.Walking distance to wharf so after take a walk smell the ocean, air, see boats. I love it
Soo delicious. Highly recommend this spot. The service was fast and efficient. Loved this spot. It was a little busy for a Tuesday morning but they were able to accommodate a large group.
Great food, great service and reasonably priced. Staying at Marriott Fisherman's Wharf and was looking for a good breakfast place nearby. This fit the bill. I will definitely come back.

My wife and found the Hollywood Cafe while walking the neighborhood. It looked good and decided to have breakfast here. It didn't disappoint. It is a small restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating for breakfast and lunch. The are pictures of vintages Hollywood actors and comics. The food was good including an fruit bowl twice what is given with most breakfast plates. The service has someone always checking to see if you need anything. Drinks are refilled without needing to ask. See you the next time in town.
Great cafe with fresh food! There was a small line so you know it's going to be good. Casual place to have a good solid breakfast. We are there twice during our week long stay. Good lattes, everything served fresh and hot. The berry salad was delicious though I wish the spinach was chopped up to make it easier to eat.
Hands down best brunch spot in SF! We spent the night at Fisherman's Wharf and searched on Yelp for breakfast brunch spot. Our party of five dropped by for brunch and were seated immediately. We ordered the cheesesteak sandwich, vegetarian omelette, cheesesteak burrito, and BLT w/cheesy fries. Two of us got the cheesesteak sandwich on Ciabatta roll. It was delicious and loaded with thin sliced meat. I got mine with a side salad. Hubs got BLT w/cheesy fries, SIL got the cheesesteak burrito w/salad. Also the vegetarian omelette was loaded with veggies. Plus the plates were beautifully presented with freshest fruit and salad had tons of berries! It was really pretty, I loved the colors and freshness! What impressed us was how efficient and friendly our server was. I can't recommend this place enough! We had a disappointing dinner the night before a@Fog Harbor and coming here made up for the underwhelming visit there! I'm
Honestly they did exactly what they were supposed do. Food was great and cooked exactly how ordered. The music was great. I don't know who was on the aux but we were jammin in our seats. Service was great as well. Every server checked on us and were attentive a present, without being over bearing. I would definitely come back
One of the best places to get breakfast in the city. By far. I LOVE the French toast here. They don't under dip bread in the batter and the portions are great. I highly recommend the Denver omelette. Fresh fruit is always a plus!
My first visit here was December 27, 2025. I came for breakfast, mid morning. There is indoor and outdoor seating. I think there's probably parking available although you may have to walk a little from a parking lot to get here. But it will be a lovely walk in fisherman's wharf. There was a short wait, but the staff was very accommodating and I sat outside on a beautiful morning. I had eggs Benedict, done to perfection. The hollandaise sauce had just the right amount of acidity. The eggs were poached, soft. I wanted to capture that in the photo. Some may prefer their eggs little harder than this, but I loved these. The English muffins were very nicely done; easy to cut through, and nice chew of crumb. The prices are excellent. I was amused that some of the menu items are named after Hollywood stars.
This place hits every single time. I am seriously impressed with their consistency. They have a great menu and fresh ingredients so everything is good. Hollywood hashbrowns are amazing. They offer a bunch of à la carte sides which makes it easily customizable. I also love that every dish comes with a little bit of fruit. Everyone who works here is friendly and attentive. Love the patio. I consistently bring out of town visitors here and they always love it (as do I).
The spotlight is on this delicious plate. The cherry peepers and avocado was great compliment to the Chilaquiles dish. Place was quiet around 8am. No traffic noises or whirs from outside. The establishment greeted us and the server was nice.

Food: (5.5/10) Pancakes w chocolate chips - it was average. Just okay. Nothing special but it was two flapjacks and some mixed fruit. You can't expect anything crazy. Crab Omelet (6/10) - interesting experience. Would not order again. Not because I didn't like it but because it worth trying and I'd prefer to try something else next time. I liked it. Service: (8/10) great! Our server was very welcoming. The staff was friendly. Ambiance: (5/10) it was a small place. There wasn't too much atmosphere that goes beyond average. Not bad. Just not special. Additional notes: it was expensive and I probably won't be back but it was a nice breakfast. read more

Great breakfast platters and specialty plates. Quick service (4 of us were in and out within 25 minutes to get to our next destination) and ample food portions. I was surprised by the included fruit side. read more

There's nothing bad, but nothing great about this spot. Location is probably what keeps them busier since they're at fisherman's wharf. I got the breakfast wrap and the lettuce inside felt VERY out of place. The heat made it a little soggy instead of lettuce making the wrap crunchier. Good amount of avocado at least. Sausage patties seemed dry but came out very hot. Service was fast, nothing too notable in treatment. Fruit served was actually very fresh and flavorful though. Great addition to any meal. read more

The food and service here are great. It was a bit chilly the days we were in SF. This place leaves its doors open for diners to come and go with ease. Sitting near the door on chilly days is not recommended. However, it was the last table that was still inside and we opted to not wait for one deeper into the restaurant to vacate so we sat at the table right next to the doorway. It was a bit nippy. I believe they leave it open bc they have outdoor seating at well and it would feel awkward to shut the door to the patrons outside. The food was sooo good. Their attention to detail in how they plate their yummy food is wonderful. I appreciate the fruit that came with our meals. It was a refreshing finish to a hearty meal. I have a deep love for breakfast foods. Everything on my plate was perfect. Fluffy eggs. The sausage patties are probably the best I have ever had anywhere. Toast was great with their offerings of spreads. And their Hash was fried to a nice crisp. The microgreens on the Benedict made it so much more exquisite to look at. It was great that this place was right across the street of our hotel. Next time I'm in SF, I will definitely be back. read more

We stopped by for breakfast because of the great reviews and we're not disappointed. The line went pretty quickly and we were seated outside which allowed us to people watch. Service was attentive, and the meal was delicious and filling. Very reasonably priced for the area. I had the Vivian Leigh, which was a grilled croissant with scrambled eggs, chopped bacon, and cheddar cheese. It comes with a side of fresh fruit, which is liberally piled on and varied. My husband had the hash burrito which was so robust, he was only able to eat half. It's packed with scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, avocado, and ham. A great value for a great meal. read more
Solid cafe!! I was looking for a nearby place with breakfast and I'm glad this place popped up on my search. The food was well made. Presentation was still nice, but the food was no-frills which I appreciate. I tried the Florentine Benedict and a French Toast. I didn't have any complaints with either. Usually I can't stand soggy french toast or french toast with a thick bread like brioche, so I was happy they had this normal/thinner type of french toast here. Delicious crispy hash browns. The place is not spacious, but it is still very comfortable. Service was great and the servers were attentive. The restroom is quite a trek though. read more
My family stopped at Hollywood Cafe for breakfast before exploring the city and their food gave us the energy we needed for our long day. The portions were generous, the food was delicious, and the service was good. But the cafe is small and cozy, and it made me feel a bit cramped at my table. The service was really fast and all the waiters were super attentive and friendly. We really appreciated that. We were seated quickly. The food was out very fast and the food was big portions even for the kids menu. Overall the food was really good. The vibe was really nice it is very small and super close to other seats. read more

We stopped here for a Sunday breakfast after spending the night at the Kimpton hotel nearby. Luckily we were seated right away (although there was a bit of a line when we left - not surprisingly a popular spot!). The servers were friendly and responsive, offering frequent coffee and water refills even before we realized we needed them. My husband and daughter ordered French toast - and it was delicious! I was looking for something a bit lighter, and ordered the Healthy Plate. It was SO good!! The egg whites were scrambled with red peppers, asparagus, spinach, and tomatoes - adding delicious flavor and a variety of textures. The bowl of fruit was beautifully displayed - and included so many different kinds of fruit! We left full and happy. read more

I had BAT - 3 eggs scrambled with bacon, avocado, tomato and cheddar. It was very very good. The hash browns were super. They were toasted well on one side and very thin. My husband had a club: BLT loaded with roasted turkey breast, Swiss cheese, on whole wheat bread. French fries were excellent. French fries were super crunch. There were some strawberries in our meals and some of the best I've tasted. There is no gf menu or marked on menu but they were very nice and accommodating. When I ordered the waiter said, "Gluten free right - no toast" potatoes were fine. So evidently they take good care because I ordered from a different person that I was discussing my options with before we sat down. Nice and friendly, small and homey. We liked everything and after we ate, although items were about $20 each it was worth it. read more

What's the average wait time to be seated and can I make reservations?
It’s around 15 to 20 minutes. We don’t take reservations first come, first serve.

No we don’t have gluten free bread
Is it dog friendly?
Very. I saw someone there with 2 dogs. Outside of course, but they'd set out water bowls for them right next to their table.
Anytime that would be best to go there and not have a massive line? Tried today and it was way to long to wait with a toddler. Lol
Best time to go is when they just open. The place fills up fast.
Do they offer Vegan options? Or are they flexible to alter items to be vegan?
I'm a vegetarian and they had plenty of options for me. They are pretty flexible too!
