I saw this place on reels for Erewhon smoothie dupes and just had to try! We got the berry glow and marine layer smoothies. The marine layer sadly did not taste like much to me, kind of just like nutty water so I was pretty disappointed by it. The colors were so beautiful though :,) The berry glow smoothie was good! It was a bit tart but overall I thought the sweetness balanced out the tartness. It tasted like pure strawberry goodness so would recommend if you love strawberry things! The cafe itself was so cute with lots of little goods to shop around for and some premade food and drinks in the cases! I definitely want to come back to try the food sometime, but probably wouldn't get the smoothies again given the price. read more

I always visit here when i'm on a business trip to SF. always have yummy pastries, healthy lunch and breakfast options, and fresh flower by the door. I love look through the nicnacks they have as well! I stick to a cold brew or ice americano. always does the job they have house made almond milk too. i'm picky about coffee but I always enjoy this place! very pretty ambiance as well. read more

I had heard of these smoothies and had wanted to try them! Although they are quite expensive ($17), it was really great. I enjoyed the taste and it was a great sweet treat. Would definitely come back to try some of the other smoothies! I thought the decor was also quite nice and lively. read more

Premium selection of goods and foods to realize all of your bougie dreams. Feels like the erewhon of SF. Very spacious interior with good amount of seating and friendly staff. Prices are high though. We paid $50 for a matcha, iced latte, nourish bowl ($19) and breakfast sandwich ($9). The nourish bowl was fresh with good ingredients, but small for the price. The breakfast sandwich was quite good but the bacon was overcooked. read more

A specialty cafe, roastery, juicery and market serving food, drinks crafted and curated from local businesses (i.e. Rize Up Bakery, Red Fox Coffee Merchants, Dirty Girl Produce). From the vendor list, it's evident that they're mindful of their sourcing and curation, ensuring that their partners have at least 1 of their 4 key philosophies (community impact, mindful ingredients, planet forward, quality & craft)! Their tentative menu is live, however it feels super basic so hopefully after they get more situated in the neighborhood they'll have more unique items: https://www.toasttab.com/postscript/v3/ The real question is-will they be able to tread in an already existent market? read more

One of my favorite places downtown to meet for an iced coffee and lunch. Food is pre-packed, but fresh and seemingly prepared onsite. The salmon and pastas make a great combination for a filling meal! Their mint pasta salad (may be a summer special) is a star. They have seating inside and outside, so you can pop in for an hour or two. Not a great place to hunker down for a half day, based on how uncomfortable the seating is inside. But excellent for a short visit. read more

Miss my all tie favorote chocolate chip cookies! Can I order online for delivery?! Lets forgire this out... Thank you!

pretty solid coffee! cute little store + cafe and good place to people watch and work! been here twice now and got the oat latte and vanilla latte (vanilla is quite good). they do charge $1 for oat milk which is slightly absurd but :( read more

My mistake for wanting to try a dupe of an already overpriced smoothie... this is like a more pretentious Community Goods. The staff didn't seem too inviting. The smoothie itself tasted just okay but would rather have the one from Erewhon. Plus it's smaller for the same price of $20 read more

The coffee is great, I've tried multiple different varieties and flavors of the iced latte drink. The place is well decorated with goodies in every corner that you can buy. The food options look quite healthy but at a very high price point. read more

Cute lil (bougie) corner shop - very clean and well organized. There are a variety of stocked goods, fresh pressed juices, overnight oats, and drinks. The coffee bar has a barista and there looks to be a chef on the back! read more

Tried the iced vanilla latte and it was perfect! Not too sweet and not too strong. Liked it so much I went two days in a row LOL if I lived here I would definitely be going more often. Also tried the overnight oats/chia seed pudding with peach. It was okay nothing special. The ginger shots and juices tasted great. Staff weren't too social but answered any questions I had. Very pretty inside not too loud. Would recommend! read more

I've had this new spot bookmarked for a while and came on a weekend morning. This is a nicely decorated small store with specialty foods, premade meals, wines and coffees. I got a cold brew and a pastry from Craftsman and Wolves. The prices are a little on the higher end, but this spot is super convenient for those living/working in fidi! read more

Listen, any café that can make me forget I'm paying Financial District prices (almost) deserves recognition. Postscript, tucked away in Jackson Square where power suits meet creative professionals, is a story of hits and minor misses - kind of like a barista's first attempt at latte art. The hits? Their pastry game is strong enough to make a French baker nod in approval (my wife swears by their peanut butter and jelly cookies - and she's not wrong), and their smoothies could convince a juice skeptic to convert. The matcha hits that perfect sweet spot between earthy and smooth, and their bone broth might just be the FiDi's best kept secret for battling those fog-chilled mornings. The space itself is a winner - offering plenty of seating for both laptop warriors and client coffee dates, plus an open refrigerated section stocked with enough grab-and-go options to make your decision-making skills malfunction. Perfect for those "I have exactly 7 minutes before my next meeting" moments. Now, about those prices - they're playing in the "prime SF real estate" league, which is a tier above the regular "I guess this is San Francisco" pricing. And while most of the staff could teach a masterclass in customer service (shoutout to the gentleman who served me - impeccably courteous despite overcharging me), a few team members seem to have graduated from the "you're lucky to be here" school of hospitality. But here's the thing - much like how we tolerate the FiDi lunch rush for those perfect fog-free days, these minor gripes don't overshadow the overall experience. Between the quality of its offerings and the prime Jackson Street location, Postscript earns its place in the city's competitive café scene. Just maybe double-check your receipt - your end-of-month expense report will thank you later. read more

Haven't tried the smoothies yet but like the coffee and matcha here! Not a fan of the house made almond milk, very overpowering flavor but the oat milk that is used here is delicious! The pumpkin chai and oat milk matcha are my favorites read more

I like the circular layout of the space. You can walk in and meander through pre-made bites or head straight to the counter. I opted for a blueberry scone and after the first bite, audibly said 'wow'. Well done. Grabbed a cold pressed beet juice, which gave me lots of energy for all the walking I did during my visit to SF. They also had one of the better espressos I tried during my stay. Service was efficient and knowledgeable too. Thanks for making my morning great, Postscript! read more

I'm obsessed with their summer peach salad - literally had this 3 days in a row when I was in SF for work. Ingredients are really fresh but it does feel a bit pricy to me - otherwise I love everything about Postscript. I've also tried their overnight oats which are yum but the jam/fruit preserves in them can be overwhelming imo. I love the concept and will be back the next time I'm in SF! read more

Fantastic lattes and a great selection of small bites. The staff is really excellent, and the atmosphere is perfect for the neighborhood and clientele (lots of VC meetings taking place here on the regular). It gets busy, so there can be a bit of a wait. read more

Matcha here is disgusting and tastes like sour water. I've gotten their lattes too and have been disappointed with over steamed milk, zero latte art, for the price of $6-$7. The store has some newer brands and nice juices which are good. I also like their prepackaged salads for a healthy meal. Overall I'd say it's pretty overpriced for what they offer compared to fresher food options but there's not too much competition in fidi. read more

My favorite local coffee shop! The staff is beyond friendly and Alex even remembers my coffee order despite having hundreds of daily customers and lots of regulars which is impressive to say the least! The shop is adorably curated and always has fresh flowers and cute easy to pick up gifty items and easy to grab and go breakfast or lunch items. I love the teriyaki steak plate and love that they use minor figures oat milk (it doesnt have a bunch of additives in it) so kudos and thank you for using great quality ingredients and being a wonderful place to visit every week. read more

My favorite kind of coffee spot + shoppy shop! Such a clean, modern aesthetic with plenty of space to hang out and browse. All the food is SO fresh and you can tell they pay attention to the details here. I'm obsessed with their smoothies, it's like Erewhon but even yummier. Their strawberry smoothie tastes like ice cream and the maca cloud tastes like a healthy chocolate milkshake, but they're good for you...or at least that's what I'll tell myself (; The food is also super fresh / light / nourishing. I feel healthier after eating the green goddess salad, the kale caesar, and the nourish bowl. The marketplace concept is really cool and done well here. I love how this is popping off as a trend because it's so fun to discover unique chips, chocolates, cheeses, and other snacks. My favorite discoveries from the market: marinated sheep & goat cheese, chili ashapops, and Askinosie dark milk chocolate bars! I've already been here a few times since opening and will definitely be a regular. Such great coffee, pastries, and lunch options. read more

They have $5 soft serve ice cream, I'm guessing the flavors change. I had green tea matcha/vanilla swirl. I could tell it's the same matcha they use for their matcha lattes which is nice and strong. The prepared foods are high quality. read more

I decided to check out Postscript after seeing multiple reviews of it on social media, especially their "Erewhon" dupe smoothie. More than that, it looked like a cool space, and I enjoy the Jackson Square neighborhood, so I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon. The space: I really like how spacious the cafe is. It kind of doubles as a market, selling a lot of upscale groceries/wares and local brands. If I were to get anything here, it would be the pantry items and wines (lots of non-alcoholic selections too) that are hard to find elsewhere. I can also see how this would be a good place to work from home. Lots of seating (when not crowded) and plugs in various spots of the cafe. The food and coffee: Just average and pretty pricey for what you get. My friend and I got the poke bowl ($18), the Berry Glow smoothie ($17-18; also the erewhon smoothie was sold out!! :(), and an iced americano. The poke bowl was okay - there wasn't much tuna, and the majority of the bowl consisted of scallion and edamame. I don't hate that, but the quality wasn't there when you take the price into consideration. Portion was alright as well. Coffee wasn't that good, but that's definitely a one-off compared to other experiences my friend had. She said the coffee tasted a bit burnt and bitter. The smoothie was probably the best item we got. Not too sweet and fresh, but still pretty expensive. It's worth a try though. I could see myself coming in to the market if I wanted to get something for a party, or if I needed somewhere to work in the area. Otherwise, I'd skip on the food. read more

Seriously love this place. It has such a homey ambiance with tons of little goodies for lunch or for any presents. Wow, totally over postscript. I just ran in to grab a $12 jar of overnight grains. The coffee line was out the door so I asked a guy stocking shelves if I could pay at the register upfront. Amazing new cafe in Jackson Square! I've gone a few times a week since opening and will continue to return because of their delicious coffee drinks (both hot and cold), super tasty matcha lattes (not bitter at all unlike some other cafes in the area!), selection of pastries and 100/10 customer service. My drinks are always served perfectly and Meg and her team at the cafe always make it an enjoyable and personal experience! On top of that, the space was curated so well; it is sleek, modern and inviting (hard to achieve a balance of all!). Can't wait to try their food offerings and their amazing selection of wine. Definitely recommend to all! read more

Postscript is SF's version of Erewhon. Really quality smoothies and green juices. Extremely dietary friendly (with fresh food) but packaged food has some vegan options as well. Top quality food - fresh, organic, nutritious. It's pricey every day so I treat myself a few times a month. I just had a cup of bone broth with my salad and I am feeling beyond content! Pastries are delish too, and folks seem to love the coffee and juices. I give it a 4 only because of the price point. Cappuccino was poorly made. Too foamy (overly aerated), poor latte art, very lukewarm.
