I am torn. The technician did a fantastic job on my nails a couple of weeks ago before i left for Europe. It was seriously amazing! I loved her work so much that I made an appointment for after my return to see her in order to get them refilled. However, upon my return, I decided that i wasn't going to keep the acrylics - as we are in the process of moving and thought i would handle the move better without fake nails - and asked her to take them off and do shellac instead. What bugged me is that she pawned me off on an other technician and proceeded to do the nails of someone else who works there, not a customer, a coworker. This is not a way to get your customers to come back. I am disappointed. The new technician was sweet as can be and did a decent job minus a couple spots of skin that she painted. read more

I got my eyebrows done here many many times and today when i went it was faster than when i used to get them done... When she was finished i looked in the mirror and my eyebrows were UN EVEN !!!!! In the middle of my brow the hair below it was cut off shorter than the other... my right eyebrow was the normal wax i always got and my left had less hair than the right... So upset... read more

A good friend of mine and I decided to try this place out and read all the good views so we went in having high hopes. We went in for a fill for our acrylics and some new paint, nothing too serious. They only had maybe 3 people working with customers and I waited for almost 45 just to have a tech start on my nails. The tech who worked on mine and my friends nails seemed rushed. The tool she used to file our nails ended up burning the skin on our fingers in multiple places and made us bleed. She filed my nails too short and they turned out pretty messy. They charged too much (in my opinion) for the job that was done. The nail art on my friends nails turned out good, but neither of us will go back there due to the service we received. read more

Me and my mother have been going to Linda's nails for over 5 years and to read some of these reviews kinda blow my mind! Only because I've NEVER had a bad experience here. Now teach it's own, I know everyone has their own experiences, and some are negative then others. But I've also seen how customers treat these ladies, few times I've wanted to say something myself! EVERYONE and I do mean everyone, is absolutely the sweetest, and kindest people. They've always listened to what I've wanted, always did what I've asked them, and ALWAYS treated me and attempted to talk to me. Been here a few times. Mediocre pedicures (although 3 dif times my mom complained of pain for days afterwards....) Have had 2 sets of acrylic nails done here. I got my second set less than a week ago and 5 have already broken off at tip, and one cracked all the way down the middle. Price seems to be whatever they want (so different every time.) Customer service experience was very sub par. My mom, sister, and I will not be going back. read more

I went to Linda's today for the first time for a simple manicure, no color. I called this morning and she was able to fit me in today, which was great. I could tell they are busy! I did not work with the owner or other people who have been highly rated - actually the woman did not give me her name. I'm disappointed in my experience because my cuticles are still rough around the edges, the soaking to soften my nail beds was plain warm water, and my nails were still slightly dirty under the nail when I left. I took my mom here for an early Mother's Day mani/pedi, we were both impressed at how clean the shop is! They autoclave sterilize the implements and picked up a brand new nail file after dropping it. I had recently got acrylic nails done at another place and they did not have the same level of cleanliness. The shop was super busy but they got us both done with minimal waiting. The gentleman who filled my nails did an excellent job, he was very attentive to not cause bleeding on my cuticles which the shop I had them put on at did and it hurt plus looked terrible. When I got to the register it came up about $15 cheaper than I expected based on their menu which was just an added bonus to an already great experience, I will be back and my mom said she would too. read more

got a shellac mani here with Kay. She and her hubby Ron were super nice and when I walked in they were very busy but they both immediately said Hi to me. :) Kay was fast and very exacting and the result is lovely!! my first mani in over a decade, very impressed, will come back with my daughter and friends. i'm super picky about cleanliness and they used autoclaved instruments that they open in front of you and single use files and buffers. The shop is simple and they don't have the free wine and fancy music but that translates to savings, only $28 for full shellac! highly recommend. read more

0 stars. I've never had problems with this place till today I got my nails did the lady who did them didn't speak very good English she didn't put enough coats on my nails so it was streaky. Then they were loose to wear they feel like they are about to fall off. She charged me $45 and I left a 5 dollar tip. I came back 20min later because I decided I didn't like them and they were going to break. When I got there I waited and then the lady who did my nails couldn't speak English so she got another lady to tell me know that I couldn't have a refund and that if I wanted my nails taken off I had to pay $10 she had a major attitude. Was in town for the day with an hour to kill on a Saturday. I'm very aware that a Saturday is a busy day in a nail shop m, but just needed a quick manicure because I had some painful hangnails. I keep my nails short and they are not involved at all. After being told to wait for around 10 minutes, I waited. I waited longer than 10 minutes then being told to sit down at a certain station where the nail tech would be right with me. After sitting at the nail station for about 15-20 minutes I wondered what the heck was going on. Just as I was thinking I would just leave and try somewhere else, a woman brought very hot water over to me to soak in. I had to wait for the water to get cooler before even placing my hands in it. I couldn't let the technician know because she brought the water and then just left me there...again. So after waiting for the water to get cooler and soaking my nails, she finally returned. Then she proceeded to push so hard on my nails to get the cuticles, it hurt. After asking her several times to go over several cuticles because there were deeper hangnails, and she didn't understand me, I gave up. At that point I just wanted to be done and leave. Two days later and my nails don't even looked manicured. Thank goodness this nail salon isn't in my neighborhood, because I would just not waste my time or money. read more

I've been to this place twice now and the first time was interesting because a customer flipped out on the staff and caused a seen. However, it was the best waxing job I've had since I've moved to Austin so I had to go back. This time I got a pedicure and a wax. I signed in and it still took another 20 mins before anyone said anything to me . People after me was getting serviced before I was . At first I loved the pedicures and nails. Right up until I got a fungus and due to the highly invasive pedicure, just had to have the ingrown toenails on the big toes surgically removed. Disappointed. & that's an understatement. My sister and I walk in and we were not even greeted. Yet everyone after us got told to "take seat, well be right with you" or a welcoming "hello!" A girl calls me to the chair, started the nail process and only did 5 nails before getting up to attend another client and then after a while came back and told me to move. The next girl (kay) finished gluing on the rest of the nails but she got so rude when I pointed out that one nail was sideways, visibly crooked. She got really rude. She didn't fix it. Ok, I let it go. Then i noticed that all the other nails were an even thickness except for one, it was thinned down to the plastic. She gave me such attitude! I wasn't even rude to her and she bluntly said "just let me do my job! I know what I doing!" She did a horrible job on my nails to say the least. I feel like it was done on purpose. Her husband did a crappy job on my sisters nails as well and then later she gave my sister attitude as well when my sis asked if she could file down acrylic that had dried up on the side and was digging into her finger. She raised her voice at her. At a customer. Literally snapped at my sister just for asking. I'm not sure but that's not commendable customer service to me. Needless to say, my nails looked nothing like the picture that I showed her from THEIR Instagram! The same exact nails SHE (Kay) told me SHE had done and she charged me $50 instead of the $32 that was stated under the same picture on their website. I wish I had taken a picture, they were so bad I had those nails taken off not even 10 minutes after she got done. HORRIBLE customer service! HORRIBLE nail quality! My sis and I were looking for a new place and we thought Linda's Nails would meet our standards but they fell way below. I regret even giving them a chance. Relied on Yelp reviews to find a nail salon closer to home. Had great expectations but was sorely disappointed. The lady that serviced me barely spoke, gave me a very poor pedicure and an even worse manicure. She got mad when I asked her to clean up my cuticles & pointed out where. After she aggressively fixed those areas she just plopped my bag down at the drying table & went to work on another customer. I then asked the guy working, whom I assume is the owner about evenly filing some of my nails, trimming a sliver of one of my nails, and more dead skin around my cuticle, and he told me I just needed lotion (after she'd already oiled my nails and slathered lotion on my hand). Rest assured I won't be back, but my sister did have a good experience with her technician. Bad luck & poor service for me. read more

Brought a friend for her birthday for a mani pedi. Her Cosmo artist was friendly and quick. Mine however, cut my toe nails in a really unnaturally way that hurt more than I'd like it to. She didn't understand English so when I tried to explain what was hurting she said sorry and continued to rip my toe nails to pieces. I was in the mood for a bikini wax one day. Finding places that do them in Georgetown is not an easy task, but I saw that Linda's Nails did them and jumped on the phone to book an appointment. It was my first bikini wax in a long time, but trust me, everything was trimmed for ease. I walked in and was kind of confused, this building is extremely tiny, I assumed the waxing room was the restroom. The waxing "room" had walls that did not even go up to the ceiling. Basically, if I was to have a conversation with the lady, everyone in the building would have heard. I did not because she could hardly speak english. She gave me a few minutes to undress from the waist down and when I laid down on the waxing table, the table was not even flat. The whole time I was sliding down the table because it was lower on one end. She had the wax heated up and it was extremely hot, like almost unbearable. As if this was not uncomfortable enough, all she kept saying was "you have a lot of hair" in broken english, which totally did NOT help the situation. She will also be reported to the licensing board because she reused the same stick (for applying the wax) over and over, she never used a different stick, which is extremely unhygienic as this causes bacteria to be spread. She finally finished about 15+ minutes later, which was entirely too long for what little hair was removed.The next day my area down there was covered in pimples, gross I know! For about 4 days my down there was in so much pain even clothes touching there was almost unbearable. I will never go back there again. I recommend you take your waxing services elsewhere, I now use Brazilia in Austin. A bit more of a drive, but the prices are extremely affordable. Short story: Extreme pain, disgusting pimples, completely unhygienic, and terrible enviorment. read more

If you want to go here definitely ask for someone that has a good reputation. I prefer going the extra distance to E'shee in great hills because my experience here was awful. I wanted to get a set of gel nails with the chrome pigment and I was putting my full faith into the woman doing my nails. I hardly ever get gel because it's absolutely destructive to my nails but I made the mistake of falling for looks. Even so, they could've looked WAY better. The woman who had me barely spoke any English or communicated with me and as I was waiting in her chair the girl next to me getting her nails done by someone else asked my nail tech if her nail tech was done because she had walked away. My nail tech just nodded her head and rubbed some hand oil on her hands and told her she was done. As it turns out she ruined the girls manicure and as she had to get it re-done my nail tech hardly focused on me at all. As it turns out my gel polish turned out bubbly and the chrome just emphasized the bad texture. Now only five days later the gel has already started peeling and cracking. I'd say spend your money elsewhere. The place I normally go to looks and feels way nicer as well as has nicer employees, and they're even cheaper than this place. read more
