Seemed a bit disorganized at checkin. There was an issue at their end with payment and I was sent out into the lobby with a phone number to try and resolve it myself. Very inconsiderate. After being on hold for 15 minutes it was resolved the way it should have been from the onset. Problem was at their end, inconvenience at mine. The building that was used for the screenings felt unsafe and unsanitary. I haven't even received my results and I'm not sure if this was a hoax! Not feeling good about the testing or if these people were qualified do I g the testing. Will never go back again. read more

I had two different individuals performing the tests. Both were unfriendly, one more than the other. They both had an attitude that seemed to indicate they hated their job and wanted to get through it as quick as possible with no real interaction with the patient (client). I am happy with all the service people, and the service they provided. My one problem is the flyer that arrived in the mail. It says "Get 5 screenings...." and when I called and set it up, I mentioned the flyer, and the 5 screenings. My fault that I didn't list off what I saw on the flyer. I arrived, and as they were doing the ultra sounds, I was told there was a test I was expecting that I didn't sign up for. My receipt verified this, and so I added it for another sum of money. This is really on me for not having the scheduler speak to the 5 specific tests I was signing up for, but if the advertisement lists a specific 5 tests you get all in one session, perhaps they shouldn't list 5 tests that don't equate to the price on the ad? read more

The techs were very polite, efficient, and I was there from check-in till leaving about 25 minutes for all the tests. I get this done every few years for my own peace of mind and it has been very helpful when considering the cost. Cheaper than my deductibles for the number of tests. read more

The people were nice but it was almost 2 hours before I was taken back to start the tests. Give yourself at least 2 hours to be there. One of the techs was also the check in person so that slowed the process alot. They also let a person who said they had another appointment slide in front of the line and that did not go well with several people who had already been waiting an hour and a half. I booked this appt for screening mainly because I was concerned about my bone density. I arrived and the screenings began without a terribly long wait. They asked if I had any metal in my body. I told them I had two knee replacements and I was informed that the bone density would be eliminated from my battery of screenings! They need to make a note of that in their advertisements so this situation does not happen to anyone else. I did not get everything I paid for with this company, but no adjustment in the price they charged was given. Won't be using this group again. read more

One person in line in front of me chose only one test, not the four test package. I was sent on to the other tests and the last technician told me I was 'all done and can leave now'. After leaving, I realized I only got three out of the four tests. When I drove all the way back, the technicians had packed up and left. This protocol failure is unacceptable and should be addressed with a check sheet or something that goes around with the client. read more

Only can comment on: Making Appt And my Appt (Results not back yet) Sign up easy, selected & paid for package I want to be screened for. Days later calls and emails start coming in to SELL-ME a bigger package. I said "no" each time. Arrived at appointment with all pre-check information sent in via link. At check in the person tried upselling me, which I'm fine with if doing it in a way that can help me understand why I'd want to "check" more and therefore spend more. I said no again at check in. I got called to first screening and that person again tried to get me to add on additional screening, never developing my need to want more screening. It happened at 2nd screening station as well. So entire experience felt "scammy"! Nice enough people but need better sales training. Go this review email a few days ago and see as going to wait until I got results, to review entire experience but after a couple of other sales type emails I figured I'd review to this point. Don't know if the results I receive will be valuable to my GP, but that's all I care about. Don't think I'll be going back unless GP says it's worth the process. read more

Very disappointed in the experience. It was located in a VFW hall that was filthy and smelled like stale cigarettes and beer. I wasn't sure I was going to stay, but would lose my money. The staff were polite, but not overly friendly. I am hoping that the results are accurate. The places where they hold the screens, should be clean and hygenic. read more

no results no communication It did not feel like a very competent test. still waiting for results and it's been almost 2 weeks.

I was the last person at the test location done on a Saturday at 12:15. I was the only one there and it seemed that they rushed each of my test. I just went to 2 stations where last year the same test was via 3 stations. I was rushed through only 2 stations were both were less than 5 minutes each. Do it total it was a total of 10 minutes. I felt as if they were rushing through my test since I was the last person, and they wanted to close shop and go home. I did not feel comfortable with the rush. I had these same test for the past 3 years where all prior test took more than 15 minutes but this one made me feel they were not to0 focused on doing the entire exam but want to get me out so they can go home. Not happy. My get my test done via my doctor next year. I was not confortable at all. read more

The office experience was fine. I was checked in quickly. They did try to upsell their services but I was not interested. As far as the care and quality, I am not sure how they can get quality results when the process and each exam was done so fast. For the Afib testing, I had electrodes (stickers) placed on my wrists and ankles but was never attached to wires as stated online on their website. I have had the aortic aneurysm ultrasound test done at my local hospital years ago. The lifeline version was completed quickly and they barely placed ultrasound gel on my abdomen. I had 5 tests done and they were all completed in less than 30 minutes total, so it basically took 5 minutes for each test. I am not sure I got quality tests done. I wouldn't believe the results. Save your money. Don't bother getting lifeline to do these exams. See your local doctor. read more

Tho my experience was good, the one thing that turned me off was charging me an EXTRA $20 - physicians fee, which HAD NOT been disclosed in their 'special pricing'!!!!!! Yet, if ur a walk-in, no additional physicians fee is assessed... go figure.... read more

The testing went OK..... the next day I recv'd a phone call that the last ultrasound test did not save in the system?.... I was instructed that at no charge to me I would get another ( this will be my second free.... My 3rd screening)"....free" screening ! the next day I view my e-mail and notice that my "free screening " was going to cost me $104.00! So I call the toll free number and get "Jerome" on the phone ..... what an experience that was! If you have not tried to "Shop" Jerome's phone etiquette.... You may want to!!!! Two tests were to be added at no charge when booked on the phone. That was not honored at appointment.

The nurses and staff were really nice and professional & tried their best to speed things up. Said that they got slammed with over booked customers for testing that were sent to them to handle there. I was there 15 minutes before my appointment. From my original appointment time till all tests were done I was there for an hour and 55 minutes. I don't understand that when you have an appointment that you have to sit and wait and then find out while sitting there that people that came in behind you somehow got in front of me when my appointment was 30 minutes before theirs. Funny because while waiting we talk to each other and asked wonder how long we will have to wait then ask your appointment time that's when I found out I was behind someone that had a later appointment before me. Disturbing. Took less than 30 -45 minutes for all the testing and the wait time was horrible. Appointments aren't met like supposed to but if you cancel cost us $50 but if they are late getting to you cost them nothing but our time. I had an appointment to be somewhere else and had to cancel due to this taking too long and I would not be refunded any money if I didn't stay and finish the testing even though it's their fault in over booking. Feel like they Crame people in like cattle to make money at your expense & your time doesn't matter. It's good testing but I don't like how they sell it. After signing up, I got constant calls to upgrade to more services. This continued after I arrived for my testing. Finally, I did do the extra $60 heart test that they claimed was so important, but then why didn't they offer that originally? On top of that, I think they charged my health savings card twice, which I now have to figure out how to get it reimbursed. This was a HUGE turn off for me! It made me feel like I was on a used car lot verses getting professional health care. read more

Life Line Screening provides valuable testing at bargain pricing, so it should not be surprising that customers have to submit to a structured process and a Spartan environment. We have to sit around and wait our turn at each step of the process. My experience with the check-in process was fine, the technicians and staff were pleasant, and the technicians were quite good at their jobs. Most tests yielded immediate initial results, and I was promised a follow up call with more detailed information about the results. I am docking them a point, however, because I have received two phone calls from Life Line Screening since my testing, and both times there was no one on the line when I picked up the call. Presumably, I will eventually receive a call with someone at the other end of the line, but in the meantime, I am annoyed by their telephone practices. read more

I have used Life Line screening off and on now for several years.......one year my husband couldn't attend.....I notified Life Line screening well in advance that I needed to cancel his appointment. I was told I couldn't get my money back but I could get a Life Line screening gift card.......We went last week and the gift card was not honored. read more

I was very disappointed that I was not told before the appointment or at the registration that they would not be able to do the periphial artery scan. It was something I paid for and then was told they might be able to refund me $10. I will not be signing up again. I can get better service at my doctors and insurance will pay for it. read more

I was overcharged and paid for things that should not have cost anything. Some of the result was taken from family history instead of receiving any testing. Even getting the membership was not worth it. I ended up taking only the tests for the regular packages I received in the past several years. This experience was only okay. I haven't received my results yet, so this isn't related to any results. Three of the 5 staff members there were seemingly unhappy or jaded or just tired of the whole thing. Not rude or anything, just blah. They didn't want to talk at all, much less explain what they were doing. I'm an RN and some things they were doing I've not even seen before, so a little kindness and explanation would have been welcomed by me. Also, they laid paper towels over the pillows they were reusing, rather than using disposable pillow covers or rolled out paper. It was odd. One of the stations didn't even bother with paper towels. We just laid our heads on a pillow without any sanitary measures. Kinda gross. But besides that, it was fine. read more

I do not like making negative reviews, but I thought they went through the screening test fast. I also saw a person come in without an appointment, and she took a lot of time from the people that were scheduled for specific times to get there screening done. My screening was at 12:10.. The person that was going to do the screening for me seemed hesitant to take me back to do mine. I think that woman that came in and just paid on the spot threw the scheduling off for the rest of the customers. I feel if a person doesn't have an appointment, that person should not be allowed to jump ahead of others that have already pre-paid and have scheduled appointments. read more

I have had this done in the past. This time I felt like we were cattle being moved quickly thru a milking station. I felt rushed and truly did not feel like I received thorough services. I don't think I was there 25 min. From check in to all 4 stations. The only station that it seemed spent the longest was the one checking for any aneruysm in the belly area. Had a message yesterday that my credit card was declined so I called to fix it. Rep was rude when I asked about a billing error. I refused to pay until that is fixed first. She disagreed and agreed to have her supervisor call me. It has been two days and no call. She threatened to send me to collections. There goes my credit rating of high 700-low 800. Why couldn't she review the recorded phone call of my purchase and give me some credit for knowing what I was told in the purchase call. Also can't figure out how to download the reports for both of us. I had open heart surgery for blockages in September 2023 and have the widow maker. Was told that test wasn't necessary since I already know about it. Why do you assume I don't know what I am talking about? I'm 81 years old and computer technology is not my friend. read more

In response to your comment regarding the wrong address, first, the address given on the mailer for the specific set of screenings is naturally assumed by the participants to be the actual address where they will be taking place. It has always been that way with previous screenings in my area. This time, the address on the mailer I got for this particular set of screenings was wrong. When I, and others who had signed up arrived at that address, we were redirected to the actual location of these screenings, which was in a building several blocks away. Even the receptionist with whom I registered acknowledged this confusion. Your statement that we somehow "choose" the location is totally foreign to any of my previous experiences, and it doesn't make sense to me. We don't choose where the screenings take place -- we are informed of the location when we receive the latest mailers. That's where we're told they will be held on that particular date when Lifeline Screening will be in our area. As to your advice that we read the e-mail confirmations we get after signing up to determine where the screenings will actually be held -- the same address was given in my e-mail confirmation as was on our mailers. There was no different location indicated. I'm staying with four stars for you because the actual procedures (when I was finally directed to the correct location) went off smoothly. My testing was on time and done with friendly faces who were professional all the way. The test procedures were explained effectively and carried out without difficulty. If I had a complaint it would be that the bone density used to be included in the basic testing and I get a boat load of emails, texts and I even got a mailing encouraging me to have the testing done in the mail today even though I had the testing done Friday.
