I already really struggle with blood work and an extreme fear of needles, and Id like to thank you…read morefor making that experience even worse. Full sarcasm while reading that please. I have to get blood work quarterly, and no matter what I do, even since I was a kid, I cant get over how hard it is. I freak myself out so much sometimes, I request each time I'm here to lay down to have my blood drawn since I get dizzy and faint sometimes. Not only was I ignored on 2 visits by the same doctor, and was sitting upright, but you guessed it. I got sick, dizzy, and ended up being there for 45+ minutes both instances. Instead of listening to me, and letting me lie down for the blood draw, you told me id be fine and then got irritated when i needed time to feel like i wasnt going to vomit and pass out. Don't complain to me you have other patients to see when my face is pale, my hands are clammy, and i can barely see with my vision blurring in and out. Since were on the topic of this doctor still, my most recent visit i wasnt even seen. I checked in, and the scanner wasnt working so i got a number. I waited for an hour, with everyone else going before me, and then new patients getting seen instantly while i still sat there. Of course, my favorite doctor from the pits of hell was there, and made eye contact with me MULTIPLE times and didnt think to ask me if i was checked in, or needed help. When i finally got the balls to bother her, she stopped me and said "theres a queue, you just wait your turn." My appointment was 11am. It is 12:23, and there were plenty of people who went ahead of me. This happened about a week ago, but ive honestly been so frustrated its taken me time to figure out what to even do with what happened. If you have to absolutely get your blood work done here, avoid the doctor whos short, has a red & black bob cut & is usually wearing a face mask & heavy set, avoid her like the godamn plague. She doesnt care about you, your concerns, and isnt here to help you. Honestly super happy i dont know her name so i dont have to permanently hate people with her name forever. Im a few weeks behind on my bloodwork i owe my doctor now because i literally do not even know where to go for blood work now. Fuck yall.

Sign in at the kiosk, sit down, go to the desk when your name is called. I had prepaid, so I handed Michele my paperwork. The phlebotomists moved quickly. When I was called, Michele, a woman of many talents, turned out to be a phlebotomist, too. I'm used to getting finger sticks for INR, but a venipuncture was required. I DIDN'T EVEN FEEL THE NEEDLE GO INTO MY VEIN, which Michele found on the first try! Usually, I'm like a pin cushion when others have drawn blood from me. SHE IS GREAT! Both she and her colleague were polite, kind, knowledgeable, and efficient. I HIGHLY recommend this lab! Thank you, Michele and Clinical Path. Lab in Bastrop, Texas!

I got there with my 15 month old son and brought his stroller so he could sit in that while I got my blood drawn. Come to find the elevator was broken for the building and we had to use the stairs. Quick trip back to the car and we walked up the stairs. I checked in and told the front desk lady about the stroller and that I would have to hold him while I got my blood drawn and she said no worries. Upon being called, my sweet lady asked if my son would let another nurse hold him and I said sure! I got my blood drawn, didn't even feel it, and another nurse held my son and gave him stickers right next to us. 10/10 for everyone there!!! In my car by 9:07am

My dr called it into HEB, however, with my insurance, it was going to be $105! That's a lot for me, especially after buying necessary things for my new house. My dr had sent a discount coupon but HEB didn't take it; and the other coupons my dr office found also didn't provide much (if any) discount for my rx. So they told me to contact Randalls as one of the coupons listed the price at different places and Randalls was the cheapest (HEB was the most expensive). Upon calling them, they set up an account for me then called HEB to have my prescription transferred over. They let me know they would call me when it was ready. I didn't hear anything until I called 2 days later. They let me know it was ready so I jumped out of bed and went to pick it up. When I arrived there was no ones else there. I stood at the wait here sign for 5-10 minutes without any acknowledgement while several people behind the counter went about their business. A woman finally came to the front saying she couldn't see me. Maybe she couldn't, but what about the guy who stood consistently in eye line sight of me?? But once she came to assist me, she was friendly and it was a quick and easy process. In the future, I will check the price of rxs here alongside HEB.
