They didn't spell my name correctly, so I couldn't get my medication. Went in on a Friday and got my prescription in Monday.

Staff in incredibly unprofessional. The front desk woman got off of the front desk phone and said "Love talking to that guy. He's so Daddy" referring to a sexual joke on TikTok. There are plates of food all over their work space including half eaten pizza, almonds and some kind of meat. After my X-rays, I was waiting in the lobby for an MRI referral (that the doctor forgot to give me) and the man who did my X-rays came out complaining that he was bored (in front of a lobby of patients waiting to be helped). Overall terrible experience. Was there for over 2 hours and saw the doctor for less than 10 mins. read more

Unfortunately, I was misdiagnosed I had several fractures on my foot and ankle and I was told I didn't. I went to my doctor and she did an X-RAY and it showed the fracture. My workers comp ppl did MRI. Concentra sent me to PT in which staff there was very nice. All staff was friendly every time I did go to appointment. 3 stars because of staff. read more

Wow. First of all, know that they do not treat colds or flu. This is not an urgent care. This is a workman comp place. I came in, was told wait time was an hour, and filled out paperwork. An hour and a half later I was still waiting. They told me no appointments. I saw someone who had come in after me be called. I questioned this and was told they had an appointment (?) but I was next. A hour and 40 mins of waiting and they told me they do not treat people with my symptoms.. I wrote my symptoms on the paperwork I gave them when I first came in. So yeah. Wonderful service. Do not go here unless you are doing a claim for workman's comp read more

I was in Austin for a business trip and came down with a bout of cellulitis. I've had it before so I knew what it was. I called multiple urgent care centers to find one with a pharmacy on site and this location had that. The idea of ubering to urgent care then to the pharmacy and then again back to my hotel sucked. So having a pharmacy onsite was what I needed. I had to wait about 30 minutes to be seen. Dr K was very friendly, agreed with my assessment, sent my prescription next door and I was on my way. Everyone here was super helpful and friendly. While I won't be doing anything outside my hotel this trip it's nice to be taken care of so efficiently and kindly. read more

I arrived around 2:15 Been here for two hrs now and still have yet to be seen was put behind other customers even though I was there first and once taken to the back still have yet to be seen by a doctor very frustrating as I am in a lot of pain ! Might I add that the front desk assistant with dark brown hair all blue scrubs and red nails was rude ! When I walked in she tried to label me for Covid though I stated I was coming in for my swollen tonsils but I watched as she let everyone else in with no problem and ask for me to step out while she asked the doctor if I could be seen! This is absolutely ridiculous and I feel as if I've been discriminated against seeing as I am not being treated with the same care as everyone else is definitely will never ever be coming back to this location and if you like being treated like a valued customer I'd suggest a different urgent care because their service is very very far from urgent! I'd be surprised if I even get treated by the time they close! Update: at 4:40 doctor came in after I was talking on the phone about how upset I was because of how I was being treated dr Samuel was great was apologetic for the unorganization but still never ran a test for my problem or really did anything to determine why my tonsils are swollen legit wrote a prescription and had me leave in 5 minutes of seeing him so I waited 2 and a half hrs for a 5 minute conversation that ended with a piece of paper that could have took 10 seconds to handle instead of 2 and a half hrs if I get billed for this I'm disputing and taking to court I was treated so poorly I was sent into a panic attack about the lack of customer service and care, was left to be in pain with no help or tests done and still have to wait in line for a prescription to get filled which I might not even get by the end of the night absolutely unprofessional and unorganized! Doctor claimed he was running around to different rooms to find me wasn't untill he heard me crying and talking loudly about how upset I was that he popped his head in to check on me ! Even further of an update finished meds they gave me and still have swollen tonsils and still am in pain obviously they should have tested me but they didn't now I have to go back to the god damn doctor because of these idiots read more

I was fortunate enough to see Dr. Hahn, he treated me with kindness and was very informative about being sick with a cold, He explained thoroughly what I had (simple cold) and treated me with upmost respect. Not only did I gain knowledge about having a simple cold, I felt extremely comfortable there. A lot of urgent care for facilities make me feel awkward, this experience was completely different. Really just a bad experience. Waited in the waiting room for almost an hour with my mom who had a bad cough while people with trivial complaints ... ie work physicals ... were seen before us despite arriving afterwards. We proceeded to an exam room with a stretcher that surely predates the Reagan administration to wait for almost ninety minutes for a prescription for azithromycin. That being said Dr Coats was very sweet. Unacceptable from an operational perspective - no reason wait times should be this long. This place should just be called "Care" because there is no urgency whatsoever. read more

I couldn't begin to say enough great things about the staff at this location. I was fortunate enough to complete a preceptorship with Dr. Hahn for nurse practitioner school and got to see him work his magic on a daily basis. I've truly never witnessed a physician (I have been an ICU nurse for 8 years) who is so well-versed in medicine, compassionate, and is such an amazing patient advocate. I witnessed him numerous times going to bat for his patients to ensure they received the best care available, whether it be insurance claims, referrals, etc. No matter what your condition is, you could not be in better hands than with Dr. Hahn and his amazing staff. The girls at the front will great you with a warm welcome, the friendly techs will get you situated comfortably in the room, and Dr. Hahn will make you want to beg him to be your primary care physician so that you can follow-up with him on a regular basis for any medical need. For years I hated going to Concentra. Every time I walked in the door, I was met with hostility and inefficiency. It almost as if the staff hated every single person who walked in the door.....and then I realized I was gong to the wrong location. Recently visited the Lamar store and was blown away with kindness and professionalism. A young lady named Casey immediately greeted me with a genuine smile and promptly started checking me in. As I watched, it was clear this woman was doing a million things but never lost her cool. She was as kind to every other patron as she had been to me. I then had a N95 fit test with Gabriella who was amazing! She took the time to explain everything to me and didn't seem to get aggravated with all my questions. She too, was very skilled at her profession. Dr. Knaus was an absolute pleasure and it became very clear that this location is the cream of the crop! To the people responsible for managing this location: Your staff deserves a raise! I can't imagine its easy (especially during COVID times) but these women superseded all my expectations. Wow! I'm surprised by all the negative reviews.. We had 6 of us that needed well checks for immigration prep. I emailed exactly what I needed and Alejandra took care of us quickly and promptly. The Dr (Bennet) was so nice and calm, even as my 2 year old daughter pitched a fit and acted embarrassingly unruly. The nurses were nice as well. This place is absolutely amazing! I honestly feel like I'm talking to a friend whenever I have been hurt or feeling ill and I need emergency help. In August I messed up my neck really bad and Dr Hahn was so amazing that after fitting me for a neck brace he just let me sit and relax for a while because he knew how uncomfortable it was for me to move. Recently I just moved here and got new insurance... So I'm still looking for a new doctor. When I desperately needed a prescription filled I went into Dr. Hahn and he was overly Kind and helpful in my time of need. The front office staff is hilarious and waiting for my turn is never boring. I only wish Dr. Hahn could be my regular doc! read more

I went in a couple weeks ago and was amazingly treated by Dr. Hahn. I was very hesitant to go bc I do not have health insurance and I'm sure many other people in my position can agree that we are sometimes treated differently than those with insurance. This was not the case! As nervous and sick as I was, they promptly assessed my situation- I couldn't breathe and had uncontrollable coughing, and immediately he started me on a breathing apparatus until I could breathe again. The medications he sent in were exactly what I needed to get me back on my feet and back to work. If you have any doubts about a medical situation don't hesitate to visit Dr. Hahn! Not only will he treat you as a human being and not just a number, but he makes you feel like his number one priority is to help you feel better. Really good experience at Concetra on S Lamar - Dr Hahn and his staff are compassionate, caring, and efficient, and the folks at the front desk are reassuring and keep things moving along at a pace that insures everyone will be seen in a reasonable time. I was honestly hesitant to visit a walk-in clinic - I'm used to dealing with a primary care physician who knows me and my medical history. In this case, my worries were unfounded - I felt heard when I gave my medical history/history of the ailment, and I felt included when we discussed potential remedies and what route we should take. Nobody wants to deal with more stress when they're sick. Concentra took a lot of the potential stressors out of the equation, treated me nicely and relatively quickly, and I left with a real potential solution to my specific problems. Great clinic! I first discovered Concentra when they were US Healthworks. The company I work for uses this clinic when one of our employees requires medical attention. Great customer service, no long waits, no appointment needed, and sincere healthcare professionals. Dr. Hahn is very courteous, knowledgeable, and informative. The worst medical experience of my life, as far as treatment goes. In short I sat in the waiting room for 2 hours, and then was told because one of my symptoms could be covid related that they won't see me. And that their best option for me is to go to another clinic where I would have to wait another 2-3 hours and that they could call ahead but it probably won't do anything. The information that they based this on was at the very top of the first page I filled out, and they charged me my copay an hour into waiting, before telling me oh wait we can't help you actually an hour after that. I am a healthy male in my early 30's, vaccinated, and I don't believe it's covid. They allowed possibly 15 or more people to be exposed to me for 2 hours on top of everything I touched. Take my issue out of the equation but where is their concern for their patients? There was one nicer young lady at the front, seemed new, and the first thing I said to her was "I would like to see the doctor because I have flu/strep like symptoms." So possibly her over-site? Beyond that though they had Murillo opportunities where the issue could have be noted and discussed with me. I will never revisit any Concentra and will retell this story to any listener till there are no more. read more

I came to US HealthWorks after sustaining an eye injury on the job. I was greeted with kindness and helpfulness by everyone! Dr. Hahn did an awesome job making me feel comfortable and going out of my way to reassure me that everything would be okay. His knowledge of the eye was immense, and he was able to quickly diagnose me and get me on the healing meds I needed. I explained again why I was there and she finally understood. Then the blonde hair lady went over to the girl and made rude comments about me. They both then made little slick rude comments. Fortunately or unfortunately, I've now visited this Concentra location twice in the past six months - once for an x-ray for a shoulder injury and once for an IV after a battle with stomach flu. Both times, Dr. Hahn, the nurses, the imaging staff, and the front desk team have gone above and beyond. The following is just the highlights: 1. Super speedy intake -- especially grateful for that this past week when I was doubled over in pain and needed to get some fluids ASAP. Think the wait was no more than 10 minutes, which is nuts for not having an appointment! 2. Kind and compassionate -- both Dr. Hahn and the nurse (sorry I didn't get your name; you were awesome!) never made me feel like I was rushed; they listened patiently as I curled up into a ball and brought me a heating pad to ease my back pain. 3. Educational -- they take the time to walk you through the diagnosis, tell you what you need to do to get better in both the short term and long term, and are very pragmatic and reasonable if/when they suggest further treatment. 4. Insanely cheaper than the ER -- okay, this is more about urgent care facilities in general, but worth noting: compared to thousands of dollars for the same treatment at an ER (even with insurance, an IV at an ER can cost $600), the max you'll pay at urgent care for the same treatment is ~$300 (with insurance, mine was $10). What?! Health insurance is a nightmare but this place actually feels like you're getting real care, not just nickel and dimed. Seriously, this urgent care location is better than most hospitals. You'll want this to be your primary care facility. Thanks again to the staff here - I hope to not be in another emergency situation, but knowing me, I'm just glad to know you're nearby. :) read more

Do not use especially if you have a pediatric patient! My daughter (3 yo) had a on again - off again mild - mid grade fever for going on 4 days - no other symptoms except a random headache. As a concerned parent I took her in to be seen (we are from out of town and so we couldn't go see her pediatrician). First off the front staff didn't know if they could see her (should've been my first red flag). They finally said they could see her and after a fairly short wait we were taken back. The nurse was fairly friendly but I had to repeat myself several times on why we where there (second red flag). She didn't seem to be listening to my concerns. When the 'Dr.' came in she (Dr. Coats) was rude, judgemental and kept interrupting me (couldn't voice my concerns as a parent - 3rd red flag). Daughter tested positive for Flu B and she basically stuck the test in my face to 'prove' she was right. Then proceeded to rudely explain how the flu works (I have a M.S. in Biotechnology, I understand virus'). Our pediatrician back home will not give children tamiflu unless it's a severe case, however Dr. Coats rudely told me that she needed Tamiflu, we refused and she promptly stormed out and literally told me 'expect everyone in the house to get sick and 'good luck' on the net two weeks'. Then she basically threw a mask at me for my daughter to wear on the way out. My daughter and I have NEVER been treated so badly by a health 'professional'. We will never visit another concentra for ANY reason! read more

Long story short: I came in for testing and the doctors were very nice and professional, however, I wasn't given any pricing on the tests I had done- even though I asked. I was paying out of pocket so the receptionist advised that I call the lab service once I got the bill and they would work with me having no insurance. The bill came out to be almost $1000. The lab service told me they don't do that and that I should call the urgent care and they should work with me from there. Back and forth, back and forth. I called Concentra on Lamar numerous times over the span of weeks that turned into months. They had me email and took my number and told me they'd contact me after their representative with the labs would look into it. I got no call, no email, ZERO response, ever. I'm still stuck with the bill, and since April (it's now August), I have had no help from them to settle anything at all. Just ignored after the phone hung up every time. read more

I went here as a referral to get blood work for a med student that pricked themselves with a needle they took out of me at a medical facility i attended. The nurse who did the blood work at U.S. health works was awesome. The dr. Savithri Fernando was a terrible, rude. Asking a lot of unneeded nosey questions and how i should be grateful i'm getting these blood tests for free. ( the clinic where the incident took place was responsible for the accident.) I had to wait one hour and twenty minutes for my immigration medical exam although I made an appointment three weeks ago. Very slow service.

I called before I went in with questions and the receptionist was extremely helpful. Once at the office, I barely had to wait ten minutes before I was called in to see Dr. Hahn. He was very personable and totally straight with me. I go routinely for a steroid topical for eczema but Dr. Hahn was concerned about overuse and made a point to go over any other alternatives that wouldn't be as harmful to my health. He also printed out the latest information about eczema to take home with me which I also appreciated. It is really refreshing to meet with a doctor who takes the time to get to know his/her patients individually. Without insurance it is very hard to find medication that is effective while still being affordable and Dr. Hahn really put forth the effort to set me up with the best treatment solutions. I highly recommend this location and Dr. Hahn in particular. read more
